Negative experience: The receptionist Asma is extremely unprofessional and very rude. I have been chasing a refund for 6 weeks. Everytime I call she interrupts and refuses to let me finish a single sentence. For six weeks she has been interrupting me and shutting me down telling me the managers are away but the refund will be processed. When I asked to speak to the manager after six weeks of waiting she decides to change her tone and calls me rude and interrupts every word and then proceeds to hang up on me mid sentence. Asma is incompetent, rude and disrespectful. Either no training was provided or she interrupted the training (she’s good at that). Such a rude and unprofessional woman who unfortunately is the only form of contact with this practice. I regret not reading the reviews before as I have seen more people say Asma hangs up mid sentence when she sees that someone is telling her how to do her job. They also cannot chase managers down for a refund. I just want Asma to process my refund.

Fantastic experience: I have been with Mouth (formerly Waterside) for many years and despite moving away from London- I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my teeth care. I now travel down to see them- the dentists, particularly Helen Ngo and Nitin Nagpaul have been amazing at accommodating me. The care I received when undergoing Invisalign treatment was fantastic- every step was communicated brilliantly. My fears were put to ease and I can’t thank them enough for all their care and attention. They clearly put patient needs first and have been warm and welcoming- especially as they know my fear of dentists! I would highly recommend this practice- despite so many others popping up around them!!

Fantastic experience: I've been going there for some years now and while they had a hiccup a while ago with regard to hygienists who were changing at an alarming rate, the quality of their specialists has never been in doubt. Since last summer they have a new and excellent practice manager. I had a molar extracted on the 20 December. It wasn’t straightforward so their surgeon dentist had to do it but considering the complexity, he did it so well, with his very good dental nurse. His instructions for aftercare were thorough and his expertise was evident in the small amount of bruising and bleeding I experienced afterwards. Their receptionist also helped so much when I was experiencing pain before the appointment was made. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: There needs to be more transparency with your pricing structures. I was told the total cost for a tooth extraction would cost £450. I was not made aware that there would be an additional consultation fee of £100. Despite paying £200 towards my tooth extraction during my initial visit for which I was reassured I did not need a receipt despite asking for one , the receptionist charged me for the full amount. I was then asked to prove I had made the payment of £200. This is not the first time I have had this issue when paying here.

Positive experience: Have been with Mouth SQ for many years. Was normally happy but recently had an emergency appointment in another country because a filling done twice at Mouth fell out again. During the overseas appointment a deep decay was found behind a large filling so I ended up with a crown… I went to Mouth every 6 months for routine exam and hygiene so I don’t understand why the decay was not flagged to me before. I will not go back to Mouth. going to try another dental clinic.

Negative experience: This is a terrible place to go. Don’t recommend it. During the teeth cleaning process, the price kept increasing. And after the teeth cleaning, the teeth bled a lot, which was very bad and painful. The doctor was not considerate of the patient and the process was rushed. I won’t go there again. Please don’t waste your time and money.

Fantastic experience: I started going to the dentist Dr. Nitin Nagpaul at Mouth Dental South Quay this year. I am extremely happy with that decision. Dr. Nagpaul has done a perfect job of replacing a crown for me, with outstanding judgement and care about shape, color and position. His skill and experience is first rate. He is also a very kind person and a pleasure to work with. That is also true of the very kind and helpful receptionists, Asma, Jack and Priti, who make the whole visit perfect. Mouth South Quay really is a first class dental practice.

Negative experience: I am extremely disappointed with the dental clinic's return policy. I arrived a few minutes late for my appointment due to unavoidable circumstances, and the clinic refused to accommodate me and forfeited my deposit! There was no understanding or flexibility shown, which is unacceptable for a service-oriented business. I expect better customer service and consideration, especially when patients are faced with unexpected delays. Will not be recommending this clinic.

Fantastic experience: The team at Mouth have done such an amazing job at getting my smile ready for my wedding this year! My treatments involved Invisalign with Dr Helen Ngo (and removal of an existing bridge), a new implant with Dr Suneil Amin, and a root canal with Dr Sally McCarthy. These all took place over around an 18 month period. I had a really good experience here, everyone involved genuinely cared about the outcome for me. It was brilliant that I could see different people for different treatments, depending on their area of specialism, and they kept each other updated to make sure everything happened for me at an optimal time. I always felt really comfortable in my appointments - they were all very friendly and professional, and clearly excellent at what they do. I would trust them with anything! Priti at the reception desk was so great at arranging my many appointments. She was supportive when I was nervous for my root canal, and patient when I was speaking to her with a numb mouth after my implant... Their patient coordinator, Charlene, was also very helpful in assisting with a dental insurance claim. I highly recommend Mouth Dental and am really grateful to them for taking such care in getting a great outcome in advance of my wedding. I look forward to coming back just for my regular 6 monthly check-ups and hygienist appointments now that the major treatments are out of the way!

Negative experience: Poor management and service. Had an appointment with the hygienist, only to find out in the clinic that she was sick on the day, and the receptionist didn’t call to inform me. This repeats a situation from 8 months ago when the machine wasn’t working during my appointment, and no one bothered to notify me. Instead, I was sent to another location (Churchill Palace) for treatment. The receptionists seem unable to handle basic responsibilities!!!

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience with the hygienist at this practice. I paid £118 for a full clean, but was informed during the session that I would have to return for a second visit to complete the clean as there was insufficient time remaining in my 30 minute appointment. I even requested that the cleaning was completed at the expense of the scale and polish I had paid for, but I was told this was not possible. The level of service was also very unprofessional, the hygienist did not even floss between my teeth, and told me I would have to do that myself. I was in the chair for 27 minutes end to end. Overall, very disappointing service and I have cancelled my appointment for a filling I have booked and paid for next week at this practice.

Fantastic experience: I have received exemplary treatment from the staff at Mouth Dental, especially Dr Lewis who provided efficient and effective treatment for my long standing dental problems.

Negative experience: Bad service. I came in September for a first appointment and was turned away as the machines weren't working. Now in November and I still haven't had my money refunded.

Negative experience: To owner: You should teach your employees how to talk to people. NO ONE CAN HANG UP THE PHONE IN ANYONE’s FACE.. I wanted to change my appointment because I had an emergency situation. Your employee said no in a really disgusting language. Even though I explained my problem, she didn't even take it seriously, And I paid a deposit. It was just a date change. I have never seen such behavior anywhere. They just want to get money. People shouldn't go to such places. I do not recommend it to anyone. If you have money, do not pay them. If you have an urgent business, they will confiscate your deposit with very bad language.

Positive experience: I came here for a hygiene appointment as my usual dentist did not have appointments on the day I needed. Beware haphazard charging and scheduling practices. The dentists and hygienists are decent but they are not honest and upfront about their fees are frequently mess up schedules. For example, they sent a text to confirm an appointment at X time, then immediately send another text to ask to come in earlier. I overheard another patient who turned up and was told he was a week early, even though they had called him to come in that same morning. Then a member of staff had to come out and apologise profusely. I know of someone who booked an initial consult and paid in advance, but then got charged extra for two different set of x-rays. The dentist did not inform him that it would be an extra cost before doing the x-rays. After leaving the clinic and checking the website, he realised that one set of x-rays should have already been included in the initial consultation, went back and got a refund and a profuse apology. Funny thing is they are very well-practiced in apologising (profusely and sincerely) since they seem to do it so much. If you need to use their services, be very vigilant on the costs and make sure you check your invoice - which they thankfully email to you. It is a real shame as the actual dental professionals here provide good service and the location is very convenient if you work in the wharf.

Positive experience: Sally was incredible. Very patient and gentle. She took time to explain everything clearly from the start and at the end. The service was excellent. I had been told (by another dentist in the practice) that the price was £250 less but due to this Sally gave me a little discount which I had not asked for and was greatly appreciated. Would be 5 stars for Sally alone!

Negative experience: Disappointed with the service I’ve had! Definitely wouldn’t recommend. Retainers I got were cheap after the treatment! I didn’t get the wires nor retainers after my top braces were off hence my teeth have moved! It’s over prices and I would definitely not recommend the place. More than £5000 late my teeth are not perfect!

Negative experience: Quite overpriced, quoted me 800 more (!) for a canal job than a second place. I was also told l will need to look at implants. I went for a second opinion, the other endodontist was 100% sure the teeth should ALWAYS be saved if there is a fighting chance, so l went with him instead. Mouth don't even have 3D scan. I went to Greenwich and consultation is 20 cheaper, with more mod-cons. My bill was smaller, and l still have my own teeth in.

Negative experience: I finished my treatment here two months ago but never get a referral letter back to my clinic for a crown to put on my teeth. Me and my clinic called them at least 6,7 times but they never send the letter. Now my temporarily crown has fallen off and I’m worried my £1000 treatment will go to waste as this teeth can’t be saved anymore.

Fantastic experience: I was seen yesterday afternoon by a hygienist she was deep pocket cleaning half of my Teeth. I have been having treatment for my gums for 20 years maybe more and during that time seen many many periodontist & Hygienist. She was absolutely amazing. She reassured me throughout and was very gentle. She was honest about my prognosis although reassuring at the same time. I had anasetic but this time didn't feel like I had a fat face( I was given just the right amount). I was delighted that she worked at the practice and asked to see her for my next appointment,  only to be told she was an agency worker. I think her name was Deville

Fantastic experience: I had a re root canal treatment at Mouth Dental recently. Prior to that I was in a lot of pain, face swelling etc. I was recommended to see Dr Tiago Pimentel and it is an experience I would recommend to anyone who needs a root canal treatment. Dr Pimentel is wonderful! I was nervous before getting the root canal treatment, he explained things to me which helped me calm down. He answered the questions I had. He is very knowledgeable, skillful, gentle, calm and to my surprise I was not in any pain during the treatment. He made the whole process easy! During the treatment Dr Pimentel would now and then hum to the music playing in the background which kept me relaxed and made me felt as ease and there wasn't anything to worry about. Speaking to Dr Pimentel - you can see he is passionate in endodontist, he is carrying out further studies in this field (despite being qualified, he wants to do further training - I am impressed!). Other dentist recommends his great work and he has a great reputation.

Fantastic experience: Despite my fear of dentists, Dr Kostas Ioannidis managed to calm me down and performed a reroot canal treatment. I didn’t experience pain during or after the treatment and his experience as well as the way he communicated the treatment plan, really made me feel I was in good hands. I hope I won’t need another root canal treatment but if I do, I know where to go now. Thank you!

Negative experience: Overpriced, overall professional, but unorganised communications turned this experience sour. I came here for Invisalign and it cost me £3500 to close the few gaps in my teeth. The overall experience was alright but when it came to the end of my Invisalign course, the practice charged me £375 on my retainers. I was hesitant to pay because I wasn’t sure about the market price of a retainer. My orthodontist agreed to hold off sending my teeth scan until I send him my consent to pay. I researched the price when I got home and I decided anything within £50 per pair is a reasonable price, thus I didn’t get back to the practice. The practice did not confirm with me regarding the order either. After about 2 weeks, the practices sent me an email saying that my retainer was ready for pick up. If the payment remains unsettled, they will ask credit control to chase after me. I understand there is a lack of clear communication which lead to misunderstanding. To settle this case, I requested to discuss a discount on my retainer as a gesture of goodwill. The practice refused to talk and insisted on pressuring me to pay the full amount. This practice failed to communicate with me and refused to find a reasonable solution to make the customer happy. Unless these issues are addressed, I will not recommend it and I will never go back again.

Fantastic experience: A big big thank you to Dr. Lewis to performed the wisdom teeth extraction operation for my daughter. Before the operation Dr. Lewis patiently explained the whole operation procedures to us, which made us felt reassured and confident. After the operation my daughter had a good recovery, without much pain and no swollen issues. We are happy with the entire experience, and we would certainly go back to see Dr. Lewis for any dental issues.

Fantastic experience: Had an excellent experience with Dr Ross Lewis. I was having a wisdom tooth removed and Ross made the whole experience as relaxing as possible. He is very personable and very experienced. Excellent value too for the service I received. Delighted to have found such an excellent dentist in Canary Wharf!

Negative experience: Awful experience. Dr lewis was very rushed, felt like i paid for very little. I was given a specialist x-ray of some sort but was not told about the charge before hand. I felt like i was in car show room and was being told a-lot of jargon with very little information nor empathy. I kept being told my teeth are very bad (i knew it was hence why i went to them) but i feel that was said to scare me into continuing treatment with Dr Lewis. I paid extortion and left and swore never to return. A lot better dentist on the Island with better service. Avoid at all cost!!!!! Dissatisfied is an understatement! Financially driven, poor service and really no care or customer service!
