Fantastic experience: Fantastic Dentist highly recomended, wouldnt go anywhwere else top class very knowledgeable

Fantastic experience: I went to the practice as an emergency NHS patient after days of severe toothache that was keeping me up at night. They were incredibly accommodating and managed to fit me in even though they were already busy. The dentist treated the tooth straight away to relieve the pain. I was so grateful to find out they had actually stayed later after hours just to make sure I was looked after. Not looking forward to it but I will have to return for a root canal. Excellent care and genuine compassion — thank you so much.

Negative experience: Very dissapointed . I was encouraged to take out denplan which didnt cover hygenist treatment apart from routine so i had to pay again for that which was not made clear to me initially. Hygenist was so heavy handed , i have gum disease but i had no pain before seeing her . She was so rough other patients were commenting about her in waiting room . I got terrible tooth pain after my last visit . When i phoned and explained i was going abroad and needed emergency appointment they said they didnt have any . I was led to believe that as a private patient i would get priority . I had to have the tooth out abroad as awful infection caused by hygenist , had horrendous pain for 5 days , reaction to antibiotics , ruined first week of our holiday All they are interested in is money . Im going to seek legal advise as i want compensation. JUST TO ADD AFTER READING YOUR RESPONSE. I saw the hygenist on the 1st Oct and explained i was going away on the 14th so your telling me you couldnt find a single slot to see me for 13 days ? Ridiculous.

Fantastic experience: Today was the second visit in a couple of weeks with Veronica and Judine, and every time I have been made to feel so welcome and at ease. Absolutely cannot thank them enough for the work they have done for me, extremely professional, kind and bright! ❤️

Fantastic experience: I had a tooth extraction done at Harrow Lane Dental Practice recently with Dr. Vernica and nurse Judine, and they were both amazing! The extraction ended up being a bit more difficult than expected because of how the root had grown, but Vernica was so patient and gentle the whole time. Both she and Judine made sure I was comfortable and kept checking in to see how I was doing. They explained everything clearly, and their calm, friendly manner really helped me stay relaxed even when things took a little longer. The aftercare advice was great too, and I'm healing up nicely. Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better team — I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for caring and professional dental treatment.

Fantastic experience: I enjoyed my visit to Harrow Lane Dental Practice from start to finish. The staff were welcoming, professional and made me feel at ease right away. The waiting area was clean, organised and I didn’t have to wait long to be seen. My dentist (Louis) took the time to explain everything clearly, answering all of my questions without rushing. I really appreciated the way they walked me through the work being done step by step so I knew exactly what to expect. The treatment itself was done with great care and precision, and I felt comfortable throughout. What stood out most was how gentle they were, even during parts of the appointment I usually find uncomfortable, they made sure I was relaxed and checked in often to see how I was doing. The dentist had a great sense of humor that kept me laughing and continued to put me at ease during the appointment. Afterward, my dentist gave clear instructions for aftercare and helpful advice for maintaining good dental health. Harrow Lane Dental Practice and the staff have never failed to deliver top standard experience: combining professionalism, expertise, and a sincere focus on my comfort and wellbeing. Fantastic experience: Friendly and helpful staff at reception and Louis is probably the best dentist I’ve ever seen! I was always nervous of going to the dentist for any kind of appointment but Louis is patient, reassuring and explains everything clearly. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: I have recently had an implant here. I started treatment in February and completed it in June. I was made aware throughout of costs and treatment plan. I was terrified at the first appointment but it was completely fine. Louis said if I had any discomfort to take painkillers but I didn’t need anything at all. He phoned me the morning after the post was fitted to make sure everything was okay. I am really happy with the outcome.

Fantastic experience: I had my Invisalign at Harrow Lane. Fantastic, friendly service and always felt in safe hands! This place is a gem and so happy with my results.

Fantastic experience: Dr Louis (with the assistance of dental nurse Alexandra) did an excellent job with my tooth implant. Unlike other implant dentists I looked into, the Harrow Lane practice has all the necessary scanning equipment in house to determine your suitability for an implant and place it correctly, so you aren't being sent away somewhere else for scans. And my missing tooth in my upper jaw was in quite a tricky position. Dr Louis clearly communicated exactly what he was going to do (and why) throughout the process and went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly (even calling me on the morning after my implant placement - a Sunday morning - to check that I was okay). When I encountered an unforeseeable issue with the crown a few weeks after the fitting, he made time to see me the same day, diagnosed the problem and had a new crown made (which has been perfect). So, yes, a professional and very friendly service, and at reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: Didn't have a great experience. Appointment was booked on my behalf by a person who was registered at the practice and recommended them. Upon attending the receptionist did not take any of my details, which I thought was strange, considering that I was paying for and attending the appointment. I only waited for about 10mins before going into my appointment, and as someone with health issues, it concerned me that the dentist was not wearing a mask, the assistant was though (this was a couple of years ago when Covid was very much still a thing, and guidance was for healthcare staff to wear masks). The actual appointment was decent, the dentist was informative and polite, and a referral was made to assess my bite issues. The receptionist contacted the other patient who booked the appointment on my behalf and started to give them my medical information and details of the referral, but the person cut them off and told them they were giving private details to the wrong person. They were given my number and called me, told me the referral had been rejected, and that was it. No suggestions of any next steps, no offers to re-submit the referral, nothing. When I inquired about this via email, I received a bunch of factually inaccurate information about things I had allegedly been told, but I had not heard any of this information before, nor am I sure which member of staff was supposed to have told me (the receptionist said maybe one sentence while I was there). I was offered a free mouth guard for an open bite (which was supposed to be helpful how?) after pressing the issue of what to do next. Either way, dentist himself was pleasant but not reassuring for a clinically vulnerable individual, communication between staff and patients could do with some work, and perhaps even communication between staff themselves. I won't return to this practice due to the above, but wish them well going forward.

Fantastic experience: James is the most professional and friendly dentist. He always makes me aware of the treatment I am going to receive and keeps me informed throughout. Sarah is a very good receptionist dealing with clients well. I couldn't ask for a better dental practice.

Fantastic experience: This dental surgery is a very pleasant place to visit. It's calm and clean, light and airy, with a comfortable waiting area. The staff are pleasant — a friendly receptionist and very kind dental nurses. And the dentist! I never had such a careful thorough, well-explained check-up. A big screen right opposite the patient's chair had the x-rays and then photos the dentist took of my teeth, and he went through showing me exactly how things looked and what the problem areas might be. I wholeheartedly recommend this dental surgery because it's the best I've ever been to — and I went there in the first place because it was highly recommended by a friend I trust. Excellent.

After first consultation which included CT scanning a treatment plan was discussed and I required bone grafting to optimise implant placement. It has taken a long time, this was imperative to ensure implants would be successful. I have now completed my journey and implants appear so natural . The treatment I have received from Harrow Lane Dental practice is second to none. Dr Tolefe expertise is amazing. I have trusted him fully throughout, he has demonstrated exceptional commitment to ensuring implant are perfect. Fantastic experience: Dr. Louis Tolefe took over this existing practice several years, i was a patient with the previous, now retired, dentist. From that date Dr. Tolefe has completely refitted and modernised the service. I have only praise for the quality of service they give us. They are all wonderful and so professional. Fantastic experience: I have been very happy with this dentist. I moved here 7 years ago and my teeth and gums were not in good shape. James my dentist has been good over the years and carried out various required procedures in a professional and caring manner and I have full confidence in his work. The hygienist really helped me change my whole teeth cleaning routine for life and my teeth and gums are much healthier now. I have two children who both respond to James well and have strong healthy teeth. During covid times the practice is very clean and well organised. Sarah the receptionist is good and extremely helpful. It always amazes me how everyone at the practice can remember who we are, but they always seem to! I would fully recommend this practice to other people.

Fantastic experience: So, I have seen many dentists over the years and I am pleased to say that I have recently experienced a service second to none at Harrow Lane Dental Practice. I dived straight in with my first ever dental implant! The initial consultation by Louis was so thorough, informative and considerate and that set the consistent tone of the service that followed. It really helps that they are very well equipped and can scan on site. From start to finish I felt in safe, competent and caring hands. Louis is hugely knowledgable and experienced, concise, attentive, funny and perceptive, highly attuned and sensitive to your individual needs. Anne is the most efficient hygienist I have met so far! She is informative, energetic and so helpful. I have now changed the way I think about and look after my teeth, great and necessary preparation for my implant. Laura looked after me so well during each appointment too, again her extensive knowledge and competency is apparent and she is lovely. Sarah too has been excellent throughout, coordinates everything efficiently, is knowledgeable, listens and attends to any questions and a perfect mix of professional and warm and friendly. I have recently met Alexandra who is equally warm and professional. Thank you to the whole team for such a complete dental service.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended this hygienist by my dentist after previously having several poor experiences with other hygienists. This time I wasn't disappointed. Anne Tolefe put me at ease and is a very experienced and knowledgeable hygienist. She cleaned my teeth and dental implants carefully and explained in detail how to maintain good oral hygiene. Made me feel relaxed and comfortable. My first ever tooth extraction was pain free and he kept me informed throughout the whole procedure. I always used to visit Louis however due to an emergency I’ve had treatment done by James recently, who I’ve found is excellent too, and Sarah is always helpful and efficient. My treatment today for a filling during COVID-19 lockdown was very professional and I have confidence in the practices cleanliness and hygiene routines at all times but especially during today’s visit.

Fantastic experience: Im a returning patient after having a few too many years without visiting they thankfully had me back. Im a very nervous patient which i mentioned to the dentist when i arrived. She was so friendly and made me feel at ease very quickly. So so pleased i came back and although i have some treatment booked in im definitely feeling ALOT less anxious about it all.
