Negative experience: 1 star for the extremely rude receptionist, I called to make an appointment & was hung up on 3 times, receptionist clearly didn’t want to take any appointments because I could hear the headset being picked up & hung up straight away. When I finally got through & asked the other receptionist why this had happened she asked the nurse if woman if she couldn’t hear the customers on the phone but she didn’t even come to say hello, just answered & hung up straight away 3 times!!I am not sure of her name but it is the older lady who normally wears glasses, I’ve been coming here for years to Ella who is amazing but have had numerous issues with this receptionist & her attitude. All other staff are amazing but she is rude & don’t think she should be taking calls from the public with an attitude like that! Will look into making a formal complaint as clearly I’m not the only one.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Deansbrook Care Centre for many years. And I am pleased to say that I am glad I became one of their patients. I am having invisalign done by Kishan and I see my teeth looking straighter. He is very thorough and you can easily send him messages on WhatsApp if needed. He treated my husband too and his teeth look amazing. The place looks clean and well presented. The receptionists always try to be helpful as they get very busy. Overall the system they use to book and contact you for your next appointment is very reliable. You always get a reminder.

Fantastic experience: Doctor Patel has been our kind and friendly dentist for years. No worries about being put at ease as this is his nature would recommend for nervous patients. Expertise second to none. Highly recommended

Negative experience: Constantly charging customers private rates instead of NHS rates. With no discussion and if you dare to ask they say the quality of work under NHS rates will be much worse in order to convince you. Correct NHS rates are readily available online if you doubt my word and are a customer compare the correct rates to what you paid.

Fantastic experience: Found this lovely dentist surgery before lockdown. Having previous problems with teeth and not happy with previous dentist's practice. Found on family recommendation. I started with a private dentist, then heath reasons had to retire, had to go as NHS patient. Reception staff, to dentists especially recommend Kia private dentist, re assuring knows her stuff and always a smile and a laugh. Dental assistants all great and used hygienist recently very happy with practice overall.

Fantastic experience: 20th June 2024 Dr Ella Toussian-Dentist When I mentioned the swelling of my wisdom teeth to friends, I was greeted with a look of horror and the gasp of “PAINFUL”! Thankfully when I saw Ella, she removed the fear and the offending fang, in less than 10 minutes. Both relieved and surprised at the painless ease, with which she had literally whipped it out, we then had a chat, about anything else but teeth and with a final check on my gums and wellbeing, Ella advised on after-care and reassured me, that if in any discomfort, just call reception. Having experienced too many anxious years, being treated by both, off-hand and heavy handed dentists, Ella is without doubt, the best I’ve ever met; I can’t say I look forward to visiting the surgery, but I know I’m in the safe, gentle hands of a professional and whatever the issue, as Ella always says: “we’ll fix it”. Positive experience: I have not been a patient for over 5 years due to relocation, however my new dentist commented on how poor my dental work was which is definitely true but because it was all I knew, I assumed it was the norm. I am not an expert but fillings should not be rough or with additional edges with my new dentist commenting that they were poorly done, not just wear and tear which led to them needing to be redone and creating more damage. Be cautious and I did not have a great experience when I was there (from my childhood to a 25 year old) which I hope has changed, however I checked the reviews before commenting and some of the staff are still there.

Last month, I had an appointment with Dr.Mozhgan and she was so kind and respectful and provided me with best support throughout my treatments. Her nurse named Mahshid was so kind and made sure that I fulfilled with my necessities. Apart from all this the receptionist Bobby was exceptional with manners and giving appointments on time. Fantastic experience: To start off with, deansbrook care centre is very clean which is the number one thing i look for in a medical centre and the second thing i look for is the receptionists manners. Ive found both of them outstanding. Since the beginning where i’ve registered here I’ve been treated with respect from the receptionist Mahshid shes been so kind and has treated me with manners since the first time i’ve seen her up to now. Negative experience: did not leave a review before at the time but i should have and will leave one now regardless. I Had been coming here for a number of years since young as a NHS patient as it is very local to me and everything was fine. I last saw them a few months before covid was a thing. as we all remeber during the start of covid interactions etc were not permitted for quite some time and advised against unless absolutely necessary. during the later part of a covid crisis i had extreme pain in my face which i suspected was coming from my bottom jaw/tooth. Called to book appointment on basis it was really necessary and was told becuase i have not attended in 2 years now (during covid) i was no longer a patient... go figure....

Everyone is so welcoming and friendly especially the reception manager PAM who always not only smiles but also goes the extra mile to help. Dr Vijay Patel combines the deep technical knowledge with great care for his patients, together with a unique gift for patience in dealing with patients’ concerns and preferences, and an artist’s hand in making sure any work he does is second to none. Positive experience: I’ve been a customer for years. Both my hygienist, Jan and my dentist, Vijay, are fantastic. They are always professional and competent, insightful when you ask. They have just the right balance in making you feel as comfortable as possible and treating you with care. It would have been five stars were it not for the awful reception. They were three of them on duty when I went. When I arrived, the two that were available ignored me for long minutes (the third one was on the phone). I was the only one waiting. I had to comment that I was thinking of waving a flag. However on the way out, it was even worse. I was waiting to pay and they all ignored me, staring at their screens, with one appearing to play with her phone. Not one of them was talking to me. Again I was the only waiting. I couldn’t believe it. I waited a few moments. Eventually I had to say I was waiting to pay. Awful experience. It’s a great shame because it’s a really good practice, but I fear if this continues, it will eventually drive people away. The place is always clean, uncluttered and everything is in great order and well presented.

Negative experience: Receptionist was extremely rude and unhelpful for NHS, private and emergency dental request. Was advised if didn't attend within 2 years your no longer registered with NHS dentist yet never notify a patient. Shocking first impressions of this dentistry would avoid based on this.

Negative experience: I’ve been going here for about a year without any issues, but it seems they’ve hired a new receptionist who is terrible. She treated me so poorly and with such disrespect, that I’m shocked that she’s been allowed to speak with patients. I called about an appointment and instead of being helpful, she spoke over me and didn’t explain anything. I hope that if anyone who works at Deansbook reads this, that you take this seriously. I’d be happy to put in a formal complaint with further details as this is completely unacceptable and it’s irresponsible for her to continue to speak with patients.

Negative experience: I'm very sad to have to write this review as up until now, I've had such a great experience. My partner and I just talked to a receptionist who was so rude, that it's compelled me to write this review. I can also see from previous reviews that many other patients have dealt with the same treatment. After I asked her if there was a way to get an emergency appointment, she talked over me. Then when I calmly and politely asked if Monday was a possibility, she said, "Are you even listening to me?" I work in healthcare myself and would never speak to a patient this way. I hope that she's retrained or dismissed as no one who speaks this way to patients should be working in healthcare.

Negative experience: Terrible receptionist, I've never seen a dental practice that declines private patients. I understand there may be a lack of space for NHS, but for anyone to decline private means they are clearly flourishing and don't require any more new customers!

Negative experience: If I could give no stars I would. I had a really bad experience with the Hygienist called JANANI NAKRANI I had told her of my pain and anxiety level when it comes to my teeth, to be very careful, as I had bad experiences when I was a child. She had no consideration for my concerns. She said in a really patronising voice I am going it carefully. The lady had no bedside manner. Super rude to me. So I didn't want her to continue my treatment, so I walk out of the room. She may have experience in being a hyiegest but she needs to trained in customer service and how to communicate to patients in a warm and friendly manner. I came out very disappointed. I told the receptionist and booked me in with another hyiegest. I am really having second thoughts of going back even though I have paid a deposit for my treatment. I mostly won't go back, I will have to find another dentest. Very very disappointed. PAM PATEL booked me in with another hyiegest and I cancelled 2 days later, because I was still upset with the situation. I spoke to PAM PATEL at the reception and I reminded her how rude JANANI NAKRANI was and PAM PATEL said she is the best hygienest and that's the way she talks to patients. I was shocked with that responce and asked for a refund for the deposit they had taken. PAM PATEL said no refund because you had too many cancelled appointments. I asked her to show prof and she didn't. I feel really disappointed with the whole customer service. I wouldn't advise you to book in for a dental treatment as they miss treat you and take your money.

Negative experience: The receptionist called me “frustrating” (in her own words) when I was asking about avaliability for a hygenist - I only asked about a few dates. I just wanted to make sure I would make it - as they do take a deposit. Very unaccomodating and very unproffesional. I spoke to another receptionist who said I’m “wasting her time.” The receptionists are very rude.

Negative experience: The dentist was too harsh. As she was making a new mouthguard and put a tray in my mouth i hardly could breath as she took it out from my mouth she really scratched my upper gum through her gloves trust me it was very painful. Then she mentioned that it failed to make a mouthguard first time they had to do it again as she used the large tray size which hardly fit the corner of my mouth cracked! Very painful situation and experience.

Positive experience: Please urgently train your receptionist in professionalism, people skills, and how to be friendly. Even if you complete the pre-consultation digital forms providing proof in advance, be prepared to have to publicly discuss the information and for it to be repeatedly disputed even when showing the proof again. A very sensitive, upsetting, public conversation that no one should have to experience. The practice manager was present and helped to resolve it, but no one gave any apology for how they handled it and their lack of training. Reception staff need to be trained in how to use their systems to avoid this situation, and how to treat patients with dignity and empathy. An apology would have solved this as we all make mistakes, please ensure you don't treat people like this. Aside from this, the hygienist and dentist are absolutely amazing. Each time I go I am so impressed, and the dentist, Dr Shiani, is amazing with kids. The dentist and hygienist are such highly skilled professionals.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a fair bit of work done with Mr Patel and I have to say the confidence that a good set of teeth gives you is invaluable. I now look after my diet better I have lost weight and feel so good about myself. A massive thank you to the whole team there including the hygienist but mainly to my dentist AJ for giving me a massive boost in confidence. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I have been with this dentist practice since 2000 and highly recommend Ella the dentist she is the best Janina the hygienist is simply the best I see both of them twice a year the service is the best. No-one likes the dentist but they make you feel at ease as I have very sensitive teeth. Airflow makes your teeth so clean and tarnished free.

Negative experience: Disgusting attitude by reception manager. Rang for an appointment only to be given a lecture and spoken to like a child. Strongly suggest some training in customer service and understanding. Funny how everyone who complains about reception staff attitude gets accused of being rude and abusive.

Negative experience: Just phoned to try and book and appointment as I am in pain, and instead received a lecture from the receptionist about how long it’s been since I saw the dentist, and when I went on to explain that I have a major fear of the dentist, I was told that was not an excuse and that as I haven’t been there for a while I am no longer a patient. Disgusting way to treat someone who has a major fear of the dentist and was seeking help.

Negative experience: I have filling come off and need to reinserted. I am you customer and need to get an appointment to solve the problem. Somehow the person on reception has stopped dealing with my calls and this is after umpteen calls. They don't answer my calls. Please can this help. I have sent 2 text messages also.
