My doctor and nurse were professional and caring, which made me feel very comfortable. I went through the NHS, and I’m really glad this clinic accepts new NHS patients. In our case, there was nothing urgent, and I could get an appointment with the doctor the following week, which was very convenient. Thanks to God, I don’t have any major problems with my teeth, so I didn’t need many treatments, but I had a check-up, cleaning, and panoramic photos done. Everything was handled perfectly. Highly recommend this clinic!

I got a tooth out and it didn't hurt at all, and my dentist dealt well with my anxiety, reassuring me and letting me know what was happening. Receptionist are also so welcoming and helpful and always know who I am. Surroundings bright and welcoming.

Dr. Mata Gamez recommended and performed root canal treatment with remarkable professionalism and a gentle touch, she responded quickly to my infection hence, easing my pain and replacing the old filling with a natural-looking white one. The result is fantastic – no more pain and my tooth looks great. The entire staff at Smile Dental Care were also very welcoming and friendly, making the whole experience positive. Positive experience: I thought that the dentist was very clean and tidy and I got treated perfectly from the team at Smile dentist. I was also very satisfied with the way the dentist looked after me. The only thing that I was very confused with was the fact that even though I was an NHS patient I still had to pay but I thought that was the whole point of getting seen via NHS so you don't have to pay for your treatment. I would advise that you make that part a bit more clearer to the NHS patient's or even put it on your website.

Phoned the clinic, and they made an appointment for the same day. At the clinic, all the staff was so nice and friendly, encouraging my daughter and making her feel better. Doctor Xen filled her teeth, and everything looks really good, except for the swollen lip, the scratch on the chin. Thank you for taking care of our family teeth.

Fantastic experience: I've been going here for a few years. Never had a bad experience. Front staff have been efficient and friendly and the dentist has a straightforward style and works quickly. Most recently I went to make an appointment for a lost filling and they said actually, he may be able to see you right now. I came away twenty minutes later with a new filling!

Positive experience: The place is situated on Union Street, which is rather a pity, since the local council don't want people going there and are slapping LEZs and random bus gates with no signs all round the area. When you do get there though, the people are friendly and courteous, though you do need to remember to ring the doorbell to avoid bouncing off the front door. I've had to have drilling and filling work, crowns and root canal treatment done on occasion (over the span of perhaps ten years); they were humane with the needle and the work was done well. I am entirely happy with the service they provide.

I’m extremely anxious when it comes to visiting the dentist but the friendly, efficient team on reception always make it as pleasant as possible and Xenofon is the best dentist I have ever used. He’s extremely considerate, patient and his skills are obvious even to someone who knows nothing about dentistry. He listens and treats you with the utmost respect and is very quick and careful, taking the time to answer any questions you might have. Once again, I’m very anxious about visiting the dentist but Smile make it as painless and pleasant as possible.

Fantastic experience: Smile Dental Care Aberdeen is a great Dental Practice. The staff are always friendly and give you a call the day before your appointment to check you have remembered, which with our busy lives is always welcome. The Practice is spacious, clean and welcoming. I noticed this last visit they had a TV screen with pets doing funny things which is a great distraction for kids or those with a fear of dentistry. I have been going there for many years and my Dentist is lovely, quick, efficient and no pain.

Fantastic experience: I was reminded of my appointment the day the day before which is a great prompt especially if you are busy. The girls at reception are very welcoming and greet you by name. My dentist is very thorough and explains what he is doing. As well as my routine examination I had chipped a front tooth and needed scale and polish. All achieved very efficiently. See you in six months.

Negative experience: I had an appointment booked in at this dentist September 2022 for myself and children for check ups which I needed to rearrange. I tried to contact the practice on numerous occasions to reschedule this appointment however they simply would not answer the phone. I did not get a call prior to the appointment to confirm I would be attending (at which point I could have explained that I needed to rearrange and could not get through to the practice).I have tried to contact this practice ever since to get check ups for myself and my children but as per usual they wouldn't answer the phone. I am in need of an emergency appointment and after finding a different number to that on the Google listing, I called it and yet again they did not answer but I was in fact able to leave a message. It was out of hours at this time however they did call back the following morning explaining I was de-registered for missing the appointment in September! I told them I didn't miss it, I tried to reschedule but couldn't get through to them however they were not interested. The girl I spoke to said the phone lines are very busy - well if that is the case perhaps confirm your appointments 2-3 days in advance if you know people cannot get through or perhaps pay the salary for another member of staff. Its unacceptable to be ringing the practice and the phone to be ringing out. Another thing, the dentist I seen at this practice XENOFON GKOUZIS told me about three years ago I required two fillings where I had fissure sealants on my lower molars however in March 2022 at my check up told me my teeth were absolutely fine. I have never had a filling and still have those fissure sealants which he said needed to be replaced with fillings. Futhermore I have visited my dentist in Turkey (a place notorious for wanting to do work on your teeth even when you do not require it!) on many occasions since XENOFON GKOUZIS told me I required fillings and they did not advise I needed this done. Make of that what you will.

Negative experience: Worst dentist ever. Please go and find another one. 1. Was dismissed on pain I was having on a tooth as to being another tooth. Tooth I was in pain with broke a week after filling as there was a cavity. 2. Have been cancelled twice on getting this tooth fixed and kept pushing back appointments months at a time. Had 3 emergency appointments, one of which the dentist drilled me without being numbed and I was in pain. 3. Was told I would get a prescription on fluoride toothpaste last year.... Still waiting. 4. Management phoned me to ask why and how I should of went to management before posting on here. That's ridiculous and invasive. The 1 star will always be.
