Fantastic experience: Wow.. what an experience! As soon as I entered the room for my appointment I was greeted by Merlinda, she was so sweet and so calming. I was so anxious to go to the dentist, but she calmed me down and reassured me! What an excellent hygienist, I would definitely recommend her and I will be coming back to see Merlinda!

Negative experience: Extremely unprofessional and rude reception team. They constantly interrupt, argue, and refuse to listen. I requested a hospital referral for my daughter in March and assumed it had been done. Four months later, I discovered no referral was ever received. After calling the hospital and referral departments myself, I found that the dentist practice either sent incomplete info or ignored follow-up emails. When I returned yesterday to ask for an appointment and asked for an update on the referral, the staff refused to help and spent over an hour arguing instead of resolving a simple request. I was even told by the hospital what exact steps the dental practice should take, including sending the X-ray and referral to a specific email address. The receptionists refused to follow this, wasting more time. The next day now after chasing up with the community dentistry still no referral made. Called the dentist practice but wanted my whole morning on the phone literally argumentative recertification team. I’m now left to chase up a process that should have been completed months ago. I will be making a formal complaint.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic hygiene session with Farzana. She was extremely gentle, yet very effective. My teeth felt amazing after our session. I was initially anxious, but she really put me at ease and tailored her approach to suit me. My usual hygienist recently retired, and I am so glad I found Farzana as the perfect replacement. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: I had an extremely disappointing experience at this dental practice. The reception staff, particularly two receptionists, were shockingly rude and unprofessional in their behavior. Their attitude drastically changed once payment was made – it felt as if any care or courtesy disappeared immediately. What was even more concerning were allegations made by the staff that I had recorded them while they were raising their voices at me. In response, I requested access to the clinic’s own CCTV footage to clarify the situation and protect myself – a reasonable request given the accusation. However, this was denied without clear justification. Patients deserve to be treated with respect and professionalism throughout their visit, especially in a healthcare setting. Sadly, that was not the case here.

Fantastic experience: Both of my children tend to feel anxious and generally dislike visits to the dentist. However, ever since they met Merlinda at Woodside Dental Practice, their attitude has changed. She has shown them how to take care of their teeth and gums, and now they actually enjoy going to the dentist. Merlinda is incredibly patient and kind with children when explaining procedures, and she has a wonderful bedside manner. Additionally, the practice fees are very reasonable compared to other clinics in the area. As a result, my kids are now doing much better with brushing their teeth and no longer fear visiting the dentist

Negative experience: My 10-year-old daughter had her life first hygiene appointment scheduled at 4:00pm. We weren’t called in until 4:10, and the entire session lasted only about 15 minutes. The hygienist, Melinda, was very rude and impatient when answering questions. Her tone was loud and harsh throughout, which made the experience unpleasant and uncomfortable. Definitely not someone I would recommend, especially for children.

Negative experience: I have been going to this practice for about 8 years now and in the past couple of years the customer service has really gone down. The women at reception are really rude, such a shame.

Negative experience: Horrible place. Totally unprofessional. A dentist called Natasha saw my sons a couple of times and was really rude and aggressive towards them. She scolded them for not cleaning their teeth properly. Both boys are also under orthodontist care at a different orthodontist who countered what Natasha said. She also dealt with boys in a very professional manner. My wife complained and asked my boys to be moved from Natasha and was told that this was not possible. My wife then conceded and booked the appointment with Natasha. This was carried a number of weeks in advance of the appointment. 2 hours before the appointment, the receptionist phoned to say that Natasha didn’t want to see the boys and the appointment needed to be moved to another dentist. While this is the prerogative of the dentist, to do it 2 hours before the appointment when one of my sons was due to leave school for the appointment his highly unprofessional. Really poor. If I could zero stare I would.

Negative experience: Today my appointment got cancelled without informing me about the changes that they did.i haven't received any txt or email about that changes that they've done.I flew from US to UK just to be on this original appointment..When I arrived home that's the time I received my new appointment thru txt. Will you be happy when you arrived there and inform you about the cancellation of your original appointment? ?? Receptionist needs to communicate with each other so that you don't upset your customers. Don't forget customers are always right . Thank you

Negative experience: I had a dental surgery at this practice and it went well, the doctor was highly qualified and lovely, I can't fault her professionalism at all. However the reception staff at that practice is awful, unprofessional and borderline rude. There are two of them and the older one talks on the phone loudly having a personal convo loudly while I try to talk to the other receptionist (while in pain after surgery). She takes absolutely no pride in her work and has no sense that she is actually the face of this practice. They kept messing up my billing, it took several times for them to finally print the correct invoice. Today I phoned to make a hygienist appointment and they couldn't locate my record (the receptionist told me it's not her fault and that was that). I tried also to book online at least three times and their online system doesn't work either. I would love to stay with the lovely doctor and come back to her for my implant in six months, that is why I have been trying to stay with this practice, but I honestly can't deal with their front office any more, so frustrating. So my ££££ for the implant will go to another local dental practice I guess.

Fantastic experience: When it comes to root canal, Nadia is a wizard.

Negative experience: This Dental practice must be avoided otherwise they will leave you in the worst possible situation. They don't care if they have left you with a big hole in your tooth they will show you the door and tell you to go elsewhere. Well the CQC should pay them a visit and look at all the negative reviews which shows what a dismal place this money making dump has become.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Woodside has always been fantastic. They started working my teeth since the of 3 and am now 17 years old The staff Aare very experienced and welcoming. My family having coming to this place for the last 20 years and also say good things about the place. It is very clean and well organised. The hygienist who have been working on my teeth is fantastic. Well done all of you for the fantastic job that you do.

Negative experience: I agree with the negative reviews. This place is a scam. I had a new crown and it lasted less than one year. While they were doing it, the dentist was talking with the nurse about her tesla instead of focusing on me. Twice she dropped the crown in my mouth and she start yelling at me not to swallow it, without apologising for it. As soon as she was done, she tried to convince me to do another crown.

Negative experience: They are competent but I am not sure I want to go back. Dentist spent half the initial consultation like a time share salesman trying to get me to spend £4000 on those invisible braces. The hygienist appointment started ten minutes late, with no warning, and finished ten minutes early. I think the person who arrived late should have had the shorter appointment not me. PS although they have various things in the waiting room from AMEX, they don't accept that.

Fantastic experience: staff very professional , called in pain was seen the same day left the practice feeling like i had been listened to & my concerns & fears of the dentist where eased by the calmness of the staff from reception to the nurses , to the dentists .

Negative experience: The only reason this practice has so many good reviews is because they offer money off services for reviews. The manager and one of the receptionists are extremely rude, extremely poor customer service. I was told if I left a negative review that they would take legal action against me for defamation. They are bullies, avoid at all costs!

Negative experience: I recently booked an appointment with Dr Aziz Bunni. My mother and his assistant both bore witness to his treatment of me that morning. He did not introduce himself nor greet me in any way. Regardless, I was there to receive proper dental care, not niceties. Dr Bunni already knew from my chart that I’m pregnant. He said he needed to take some x-rays. When I asked whether or not they were safe during pregnancy, he very blatantly responded with “Well no, they’re not great for the fetus. But in your case I think you need them. You think about it. You weigh out your options.” Which I found to be dismissive. He then told me that I needed two fillings done. “So do you want them done then? We’d have to give you a numbing injection which isn’t great for your fetus so we’d have to give you a small amount.” I was uninformed about the risks of numbing injections during pregnancy and because of the fact that I’m high risk in my pregnancy, I told him I’d rather speak to my midwife before continuing any further. He very visibly rolled his eyes and scoffed at this, saying “I mean. Okay. But what choice do you have really? You have a cavity. What if it turns into an abscess? Then you’d have to have your tooth pulled after being put to sleep which would be even worse for your fetus.” Again, very dismissive and trying to use scare tactics to get me to go ahead with this procedure. Perhaps he thought I was naive because of my age. Either way, a disgusting way of treating a young pregnant lady in need of care. Regardless, I insisted I’d like to speak to somebody first regarding any risks. He sat me down to review his findings: “Okay so I can see that your diet is not good. A lot of sugar clearly. I mean, I’m not sure what to tell you. You’re old enough to know that sugar isn’t good for you. What are you, 19? I mean… really you’re too young to even be married in this country. But anyways. I shouldn’t have to tell you that sugar is also bad for your unborn child. When you get pregnant, people often think you need to eat for two - you don’t. You only need to drink a little bit more milk and that’s it. You need to fix your diet.” Upon doing some research I have found that Dr Bunni is, in fact, not a midwife. Nor a GP. His unsolicited advice was very inappropriate and lecture-like. I’m not sure why he felt the need to comment on my age, or the fact I was married at this age. At this point, I had to interject with “I had a bad diet in 2022 following a period of time where I was unable to eat solids due to some stomach trauma. I have OBVIOUSLY, since becoming pregnant, been watching my diet.” He raised an eyebrow at this and said, “Anyways… when are you seeing your midwife? Tell your husband to remind you to ask about the numbing shots. In your case I don’t think you have a choice.” Tell my husband to remind me? I’m not sure what he meant by this. Perhaps making out that I am in some form incapable of reminding myself about important matters? My mother and I left shortly after this. I know that it’s a common occurrence for young mothers to be disrespected by the medical professionals whose job is to provide them care, but this was just ridiculous. Up until that point I had been fortunate enough to be treated like a human being at every medical appointment or consultation I’d attended. I shouldn’t need my husband, a tall burly man who is older than me, to chaperone me at every appointment I go to just so I can be treated with some kind of decency. I know for a fact if I had been a pregnant woman in her 30s that day that Dr Bunni wouldn’t have spoken to me in that way. I never want to see my mother leave a clinic upset by the way her daughter was treated ever again. I’m devastated at the idea that other young pregnant ladies might step into his office and be dehumanised by the grown man that he is. Perhaps Dr Bunni has let his profession convince him that he has some sort of power hold over those who step into his office. Either way, he should remember that he is providing THEM with a service, not vice versa, and should act accordingly.

Negative experience: Massively disappointing. I attended this practice for a CT scan, two months ago. I've been waiting for them to email the results ever since I have now spent two weeks calling, being told I would receive my file within a short time period. No one has bothered, which is unbelievably rude and unprofessional. I paid for this service and they have given me nothing other than excuses. I cannot proceed with my implant until someone releases the files!

Fantastic experience: I visited Woodside dental practice with my son for a hygiene visit. I received a fantastic service from Merlinda who explained the whole procedure step by step. I am beyond impressed with her kindness, understanding, compassionate and empathetic nature. She is an outstanding dental professional. I never experienced any discomfort or pain during or after treatment (in the past with others I would have sore and bleeding gums post treatment) Great price, service and overall experience. Fantastic experience: On 10.04.2021. I underwent an extraction under sedation for what I had already been advised by my regular dentist would be a difficult extraction. Difficult is an understatement! I write this review not to deter prospective patients from Woodside Dental Practice but rather to commend the staff and reassure prospective patients of their expertise. I cannot fault them (particularly the anesthetist) on their bedside manner in reassuring a nervous patient like me. They soon realised that I am quite resistant to local anesthetic. The aftercare has been brilliant. I had a phone call to make sure I was fine and progressing well. Yes, the extraction was very difficult (more so for them), however the fact that I am healing quickly (no swelling and bleeding stopped) is down to their expertise. I will now be adopting them as my regular dentist. Sandra Floode

Fantastic experience: Woodside is a brilliant practice. I've had years of intimidating and complex dental work elsewhere and Woodside is really caring. The reception staff are extremely dedicated and kind and the dentists are all great listeners and really good at putting patients at their ease. The endodontist Nadia is extremely skilled. I've had major work done at Woodside and also hygienist work and standard fillings and every experience has been made as positive and low-pain as possible.

Fantastic experience: For someone who doesn’t like dentists, I’ve had to visit them a fair bit recently! The staff make each visit comfortable they also don’t just make your dental health a priority they also offer me a variety of advice when it comes to treatment costs. I really couldn’t imagine seeing any other dentist but Natasha and am happy to drive the 45 minutes to see her!

Fantastic experience: Farida Adenwalla is brilliant with kids. She managed to extract my 8 year old daughter's tooth painlessly and on the NHS, when private practices wanted to charge over £500 for the same procedure. She has a gift with kids.

Positive experience: Definitely recommended!!! I have just been to the practice and it's reassuring how Covid-19-spreading is being managed, applying all the needed precautions of the case. Plus, the dentist is frank and clear about the procedures he recommends we do and those which have no urgent priority. Friendly and always available staff! I find his polite and professional manner to be very calming and his many years of experience very reassuring. I had a root canal which I was not looking forward to however Max completed the procedure without causing any pain. I continue to travel to Woodside practice and am very happy with my experinces there. Most recent was a visit to their hygentist who was very pleasant and in addition to cleaning my teeth, provided many useful pointers on improving how I look after my teeth.

Fantastic experience: Having been travelling to a dentist in Caterham for a number of years I changed to my local dentist Woodside in wimbledon to ease my travel time and have found the service and treatment excellent. I would definitely recommend this dental practice to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Have been a patient at this practice for 6 years and have always had a good service from them. The dentists are very knowledgeable and take the time to address your concerns. I have also seen a number of different hygienists here over the years and they give a great service also. I have since had 2 children and they are registered here too. The dentists I have seen so far are great with kids and have a gentle manner with them - and the kids love the stickers they get for being "so good". My family and I feel very well looked after and I would recommend the practice.
