Fantastic experience: I must say this is the best dentist I've ever been. Third time in with Opal Scott the hygenist and she is absolutely amazing I highly recommend her. I am a very nervous patient and Opal has been very calm and accomodating and made me feel at ease. The treatment went so well that Opal asked me to cancel the next week appointment and rebook in three months. Amazing! A big thanks to the guys at the reception too, super friendly and welcoming.

Fantastic experience: I went to Pearly Whites today for the first time since last December, and I was so impressed. They’ve changed ownership, and you can really tell, everything feels more modern, friendly, and professional. From the lovely receptionist to the hygienist, the service was excellent: super polite, helpful, and informative, with zero judgment. The treatment itself was pleasant and painless, and the whole place looks spotless and fresh. Fantastic experience overall, and the price is great too!

Fantastic experience: I don't write many reviews but this one is done at request of my son. I took him for an emergency appointment for a dental abscess. Dr Lia immediately suggested the course of action and his milk tooth was removed quickly, without anxiety and extra pain so he is on the mend now. He was very pleased how it went and so am I. The practice personnel was kind and attentive. I wish this new practice all the best!

The receptionists were so friendly and welcoming, made my children and myself feel comfortable and our dentist and her assistant were absolutely amazing with both of my kids during their check up including a very nervous 6 year old who I wasn't sure was going to open her mouth but Dr Poppy Moore managed to ease her into It and was wonderful! Also the kids loved the stickers!

Fantastic experience: I'm usually very afraid of going to the dentist and Dr. Lia made me feel so safe and relaxed! She very clearly cares about her patients and wants to provide the best care without upcharging (like some other dentists I've been to). The TV playing Friends on the ceiling definitely helped my dentist anxiety as well. Dr. Lia explained my scans and x-rays to me very thoroughly and made me actually excited to go back!

All of the small touches: the brand new equipment, friends playing on a TV above the dentist chair, mood lighting, and even the comfortable dentist chair made this experience my best ever dentist appointment. This place has had a complete revamp and makeover - couldn’t be happier to support the new owners on their endeavour!!

Fantastic experience: Great place after management change and refurb, especially for nervous patients there’s now a telly on the ceiling, bluetooth headphones and fireplace screen on the wall of the treatment room! The staff are all really lovely. Several months waiting times for appointments though, so recommended to book early and keep regular appointments which are scheduled at each visit.

Fantastic experience: So I have been going to this dentist when it was part of a small chain and this was my first visit as it became independent and the experience was great. They were improving the location, the atmosphere was already far more friendly. The staff are really efficient, the service was good too.

She put my anxiety at ease and made the appointment comfortable, which is a huge deal for someone usually terrified of the dentist. The reception team were so warm and welcoming, and it was lovely to visit a practice that is so well maintained.

Fantastic experience: I had Invisalign with Dr Lia from 29th October 2024 - 13th February 2025, ahead of my wedding in June. The whole experience was amazing. I saw results really quickly and I felt so incredibly supported by Dr Lia. Dr Lia is truly the best dentist I’ve ever had, explained everything really clearly, and made the regular check-ups actually enjoyable. For anyone considering getting Invisalign, I’d definitely recommend doing it with Pearly Whites - I’d been considering it for years and I’m so glad I finally did it! (Make sure you consistently wear your alligners for the best and speediest results!)

The receptionist was really lovely and took the time to answer all of my (many!) questions, which made me feel at ease straight away. My dentist, Lia, was absolutely amazing — she was so calm, gentle, and really helped settle my nerves. I felt completely reassured throughout my appointment. I couldn’t recommend them enough!

Negative experience: I have been attending this practice for almost 10 years. I’ve seen different dentists during this time, and they have always provided good service. I have always been able to bring my kids and myself together after school hours. However, the NHS has a protocol that no NHS appointments can be booked after 3:50 pm. Since school finishes at 3:30 pm, this means I would now have to bring the kids on different dates. I used to be able to manage this even with this unreasonable NHS protocol. What the NHS is essentially pushing us to do is either take the kids out of school to attend appointments or move to private care. Unfortunately, the new management is not willing to make any effort beyond the NHS protocol and, on top of that, the manager is extremely rude and unhelpful. I also had to wait more than 20 minutes just to sign in forms because of the new system they are using. The dentists themselves are good, but I will definitely not be coming back to this unfriendly practice with such poor manners and unprofessional management. The practice I was seen at today was Perfect Smile Dental Surgery, 247 Munster Road, Fulham, London, SW6 6BS.

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic hygiene experience at this practice! I booked in for the GBT with airflow and the whole process was very enjoyable and thorough. I was welcomed with a lovely team as I arrived to the practice. The hygienist, Hiba, addressed any concerns I had with my oral health and explained the process of the procedure very thoroughly, whilst ensuring I felt comfortable throughout. I highly recommend coming to this practice for hygiene or any dental concerns!

Negative experience: Friendly reception. Money making experience with dental hygienist. Booked appointment weeks ago for an £85 clean when still Perfect Smile. She started using more expensive cleaning machine before telling me that it would be £40 more. After my objection she said she would switch to traditional way but told me it would hurt more as if to sway be. To his credit the Owner stepped in to offer new method at £85. Hygienist butted in saying it would take several visits to clean my teeth! Never heard such rubbish before in all my years of having my teeth cleaned. At this point I cancelled and left as it felt like they were trying to milk me for money. I was also surprised to find no communication to existing patients on new ownership. Again hygienist told me legally they can’t tell patients which is also rubbish. In fact, when a NHS dentist changes ownership it is an obligation to let patients know.

Negative experience: I rarely leave reviews but this one is more than warranted. I never imagined that I would have such a terrible experience that has left me feeling traumatised and reluctant to visit a dentist ever again. Last year, I visited Perfect Smile on Munster Road Fulham, to get a filling for a historic cavity treatment that they “repaired” a couple of years prior. I expressed my concern about the X-ray machines being out of order and the dentist carrying out the treatment without proper imaging. However, the staff assured me that the dentist could do the procedure by 'eye' and that I was worrying unnecessarily. I trusted their expertise and went ahead with the treatment. This was all paid for privately. To my horror, after the aesthetic wore off, I experienced an excruciating pain that went from my gum to the back of my head. I called the practice the next morning, but the staff dismissed my concerns and told me to take stronger pain killers, assuring me that the pain was normal and would subside in three days. Despite taking the medication, the pain persisted and worsened, and I had to resort to taking much stronger pain killers, which is not ideal for someone like me, who works in a physically demanding job as a building surveyor and climbs scaffolds and roofs every day. Feeling helpless and in agony, I contacted the NHS hotline, and they advised me further. Calls and outcome was logged, expressing pursued the dentist. During this time it was my birthday and this spoiled any plans I had with my family. The pain was unbearable and I was permanently taking painkillers. After a week I had to literally force myself back into the practise as they were “so busy”. Seen at 16:00 on a Friday, they took X-ray images and confirmed that the filling had touched a nerve all along!! They then told me that their specialist at the Fulham Road branch would need to remove all the nerves with a “special machine”. However, I insisted they done something whilst I was here! Whilst laying there I physically watched the dentist pull out three nerves leaving them on side table. This took an hour and a half. It was just wrong and I knew this was not right at the time. I had to endure the excruciating pain for over a week before they removed the nerves one at a time, with me feeling scrutinising pain throughout the procedure. After a quick filling and a half-hearted apology, I left the practice feeling totally let down. The whole ordeal ruined my birthday, and I have been unable to stop thinking about how badly I was treated. I have since had work completed on the tooth in question and after a lengthy time clearing the infection and hearing from a professional dentist I now want the dentist to be held accountable for their actions. If I have to respond to their response I will also include all the images and dental notes from the third party dentist. Disgraceful.

Positive experience: Updated: Changed from 1 star to 3 as Dr. Lia is really nice. Despite the bad experience with the booking team, she has been very attentive and did a great job. I used to have a good experience with this place, but recently, things have gone downhill. I had a really frustrating experience with the team in charge of booking appointments. Despite receiving emails confirming my appointment, I found out at the last minute that it had been cancelled twice.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had a grey front tooth for 3 years and it had taken a huge tole on my confidence. I wasn’t able to afford any dentistry for a long while then made a leap of faith by making an appointment with Perfect Smile Fulham in July and was assigned to Dr Lia Melconian. She is honestly the most caring dentist I’ve ever met and put so much effort and time into making sure I had the right colour crown for my front tooth made. I appreciate her so much, it’s now August and I have a PERFECT front tooth that looks exactly like my actual tooth!!! I’m so excited and immensely happy, from start to finish she has been so informative, kind, understanding, friendly and overall the best dentist i’ve ever had. I highly recommend you choose her as your dentist, I will be recommending her to everyone I know! I can’t believe i’m able to smile again ahhhhh!! I’m so excited huge massive giant thank you to Dr Lia!!! ❤️

Fantastic experience: I have always hated my smile; through my life I never posed for photos with my teeth visible, and always laughed behind my hand. I decided to take the plunge with Invisalign with Dr Lia last autumn and have just reached the end of my treatment. Over the course of the past several months she and nurse Shukri have been exceptional, not just in their work but also patience as I have had a million questions and concerns about my teeth (sorry again!). I followed up with whitening, ICON treatment, and composite bonding, and I feel like a new person. I can smile without being embarrassed! I couldn't be this happy without all the hard work that was put into it, a massive thank you again Lia! 100% recommend the practice, dentist, and treatments.

Fantastic experience: Lia has been an absolute amazing for the RCT, exhaustive with the explanation and with the after care. I would absolutely recommend her!

Negative experience: AVOID. I visited this practice in august 2022 for severe facial pain and was found to need a referral for root canal treatment, and was advised I would be referred but there may be a long wait. I patiently waited a few months while requiring extensive pain killers to just get a few hours of sleep a night, and eventually emailed the practice to ask for a status on the referral. I received a reply back saying it would be chased. Eventually over 8 months passed and I emailed again asking to chase the referral and learned that no referral was ever sent in the first place. I asked if they could refer me now, and was told that their dentists were not willing to unless I started again from the beginning and booked a whole new check-up/x-rays first. I waited 8 months in pain, for absolutely nothing.

Negative experience: I am appalled by the “service” at this place. They were 25 min late for my appointment, and knew that in advance but didn’t take the courtesy to let me know in advance. If a patient were 25 min late, they would have to forgo both the appointment and the down payment but if the reverse happens, you’re on your own. The dentist, Dr Amal Barabandi saw me waiting but couldn’t be bothered to apologise. In the end, I had to cancel my appointment and had to fill in a refund form, rather than being provided with an immediate refund - which is the least they could do. Stay away from this place if you value your time and have self-respect.

Fantastic experience: Great practice kind efficient clean great value

Negative experience: I have been to the practice a few times now. The Dr. in the first room has been quite snobby a few times now making me feel comfortable. Since I met her, she made me feel comfortable but I thought she was having a bad day. I have since been back to her and she was again entitled and rushed me through my questions to finish the appointment as fast as possible. The very first time I visited this practice, the lady who I met, was extremely warm and welcoming, she has now left which is extremely disappointing.

Positive experience: I went to this practice last June and I had a lovely experience with a lady dentist in the first room. I just went back to the practice and the previously lady had been replaced with another and I felt she was quite unprofessional and dismissive as to what I had to say. I was waiting 20 minutes before I was seen to also. I did go back today and met a lovely gentleman who made my experience quite enjoyable but the consistency is just not there with staff and also punctuality.

Negative experience: Bad service - the fillings fell out a few days later, the retainers didn't fit and eventually had to be returned, and months later I'm still chasing them, trying to receive a refund. Disappointing.

Positive experience: Good experience with Dr Vian. She is very charming, patient and aware of the patient's possible discomfort or pain.
