Fantastic experience: I can not give One Dental enough praise and thanks - Dentist Naz and his wonderful team from reception to nurses are just amazing- having spent my entire life being terrified of dentists and actively avoiding them for 7 years I discovered One Dental - from initial check up and plan to first treatment (one new filling 2 replacement filling - deep clean) Naz and team new of my fear and I need not of worried - pain free kind and considerate WOW how is is possible to look forward to going to the dentist and the new smile we have planned going forward- THANK YOU ALL! Negative experience: Unfortunately never got to try the dentist so am just reviewing the customer service I personally received. I originally reached out to One Dental Newborough in mid June 2025, I chose them based on their good google reviews. With my job I work during the day and sometimes cannot answer the phone. I missed their initial call, then they emailed and said we could communicate by email if I couldn’t get to the phone and if it was easier for me. Which I initially thought “great” and “how convenient” as they operate during business hours like me. On email, they explained the different treatment options and I asked to have the new patient offer, they offered me an appointment date which clashed with a holiday, so I asked for the week after and they confirmed which date and time they had available. I accepted this ( straight away) which meant an appointment date and time for end of July. In two weeks time so I thought that was not too long to wait. I also then replied to the email chain and asked for the same offer for new patients for my partner, explaining I was already booked in so it would be good to come together if that was at all possible. This was mid July. When I turned up to the appointment at the end of July they had no record of me and then when I showed the receptionist my emails with what I believed was confirmation and booking with them she advised me they had not booked me in, just offered me an appointment but they weren't “sure” what I wanted, despite me replying to them and confirming, so in their mind that didn’t really mean I had an actual appointment she also then added that for new patients they take deposits in advance. I explained that I didn’t know anything about that because they didn’t request a deposit or indeed mention it, but she just continued to imply it was my fault because it wasn’t clear what I wanted. Despite me replying to their emails and confirming and being fairly confident I had made a dental appointment, so much so I had rearranged my plans around it…as drove from outside Newborough to get to them. So after 7 weeks wait I am still on the search for a private dentist, which is a real shame because they do all the treatments I wanted to have and seem to have generally good reviews. So my advice would be, even if they say that they are happy to communicate by email, be cautious about that because you could end up wasting time driving to them for an appointment that you think was confirmed but they never did! So from my experience I’m afraid I’m unable to rate them very well and will not be personally using them, especially if no responsibility can be taken for errors. **update. Upon reading this review the practice manager reached out to me and offered to try and make good on my experience, I replied the next day and said I was willing to give them a second chance. That was a month ago. Then I’ve heard nothing back from them!!

Fantastic experience: this dental practice has been nothing but amazing with my 7 year old, he's come here and been so comfortable and looked after, they're put the Tv on spoke to him perfectly! he had a tooth out and he was so at ease, they didn't show him any of the tools and kept it perfect for him! amazing place highly reccomend ! i love

Fantastic experience: One Dental have completely transformed my smile and I couldn’t be happier. I was adamant for whitening/composite bonding straight away but Naz recommended aligners first to straighten everything up and increase the longevity of my bonding. This also meant little to no preparation was needed of my existing teeth which is great and keeps them healthier than otherwise. The process was smooth and I was kept in the loop the whole way through. The team are really calm and it makes you feel relaxed every time you visit. Thanks again guys, I really appreciate it.

Fantastic experience: I initially visited One Dental for teeth straightening aligners to help achieve a more balanced smile. During my first consultation, Dr Naz immediately spotted that something wasn’t quite right with one of my front incisors. After further investigation, he discovered a deeper issue that needed urgent specialist treatment before any straightening could begin. Thanks to his keen eye, he referred me to a specialist in Cambridge, where I learned that the problem had been quietly developing for years and if left untreated, I could have lost the tooth within a couple of years. One year and a successful root canal later, I’m now wearing my aligners and finally on the journey to the smile I wanted. Dr Naz was incredibly thorough, knowledgeable and professional throughout. I’m truly grateful. He didn’t just improve my smile, he saved my tooth. I’ve since recommended One Dental to a friend, and she also chose the aligner treatment with Dr Naz. Negative experience: After several years at this surgery, my experience has been consistently poor. The staff are often rude, and appointments are rarely on time. Receptionists do not apologise for delays. The main issue is misinformation. My dentist recommended treatments that were not necessary, as confirmed by the hygienist. After several appointments and an expensive proposed plan, I sought a second opinion and received completely different feedback from another dentist. I have now de-registered with the surgery, and the receptionist was entirely indifferent to my concerns. Consider your options carefully before registering here.

Fantastic experience: Very professional practice. I was made welcome as soon as I walked in. The equipment available on site is first rate. I would have no hesitation recommending this practice to friends and family, and indeed have discussed how impressed I am with my treatment plan to date several times. Negative experience: If I could give the staff member on the phone a 0-star rating, I would! Unfortunately, I have a dental emergency and wanted to check my options regarding emergency NHS treatment, if available, and private treatment to compare costs across different dentists to see which would suit my dental and financial needs best. I was quite shocked by the treatment I received once I asked about NHS treatment. The rest of the conversation was conducted in a very judgmental manner! It felt like pulling teeth without any anesthetic! She was very vague about the pricing of tooth extractions, and I had to coax the information out of her as she was extremely reluctant to provide any details. All I wanted was the basics! She then stated that she couldn’t give me details of private dental plans without me being seen first and couldn’t provide pricing until my problem had been assessed and addressed, which is ridiculous! I appreciate that each patient’s needs are different, but I was only enquiring about basic information! It felt as though mentioning NHS treatment changed her attitude towards me for the rest of the call. I felt as though I wasn’t "good enough" for their practice. Very, very disappointing—especially considering that other private practices I spoke to were able to provide me with the basic information I required. She also stated that she couldn't give figures and that dental plans are not for maintenance, which I never even asked about! I simply wanted to know their dental plan prices (for check-ups and hygiene appointments). While she gave me details of what the dental plan included, she refused to provide the prices! In the end, I had to express my dissatisfaction with the way she was handling the conversation. I explained that I only wanted basic information, yet she was reluctant to provide it. She continuously spoke over me, and I felt like I wasn’t being heard. She ignored me, lacked basic customer service skills, and had no idea how to handle complaints! At one point, she was about to give me a price but suddenly said, "No, sorry, I can’t—our prices have changed!" Eventually, I managed to get the price out of her, but it was painful to hear it all unfold. It just felt like a bunch of excuses, as if she assumed I couldn’t afford their services simply because I mentioned NHS treatment. So disappointing, especially considering this practice has a 5-star rating! I strongly suggest proper customer service training and guidance on how to handle complaints professionally!!

After 10 years, I needed to find a new dentist which was a big deal for me as finding a compassionate and understanding dentist was so important for me. I met Dr. Naz for a consultation which was so thorough and he explained everything in a very patient and expert way. Turning up for my first treatment appointment, the whole team made me so comfortable from the moment I walked in. Dr. Naz put me at ease immediately as he knew I was anxious. The treatment itself was completely stress free and the expertise, technology and end results were second to none. My dentist, Naz, always explains, in layman terms, what he has found on examination and what his recommended treatment would be. If no treatment is required, he will say so. Fantastic experience: Great experience from start to finish got me in quickly after I was getting pain from tooth she tried her hardest to save it but decided it was best to be taken out and I was dreading this as I do not like dentist but she soon put me at ease and before I knew it was out and didn’t feel a thing thank you so much would definitely recommend this practice 5 STAR
