Fantastic experience: Cedars fitted me in at short notice for a wedding to have some teeth whitening and an astetic procedure on a few of my front teeth. The result was amazing. Chris and his dental nurse couldn't do enough to put me at ease. All staff here including the receptionist are super friendly but professional. I would highly recommend using this surgery.

I have had no end of trouble with my teeth since I was a teenager, so being able to fully trust someone is paramount. He has supported me through all my dental work. His attention to detail and aesthetics is commendable. My teeth are now perfect and I smile everyday. His dental nurses and receptionists are fabulous and communication is outstanding. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Had an extraction with Chris today only a week after my symptoms started. The Cedars team were incredible helping me get seen sooner than originally planned, due to the amount of pain I was in. Fantastic experience: I recently took my mother who is blind and suffers from osteoarthritis to her dental appointment with Emily. Everyone at the practice is so friendly, empathetic and thoughtful whilst also remaining professional. Having a stair lift is essential and the staff guided her through out her visit whilst being respectful of her needs, they have also combined appointments to alleviate the need for an additional visit. I would thoroughly recommend the practice.

Fantastic experience: I have just completed surgery for the fitting of 2 implants with Dr Nitin Duggal. It’s a long process in order to achieve the desired results with various necessary stages to the treatment. I have received excellent care from all the staff I have encountered throughout. I opted to have teeth whitening before the implants were fitted so the overall look would be enhanced and the implants matched up. My usual dentist Emily Fell assisted me with the whitening and I am very happy with the results. After the surgery by Nitin to fit the posts I received excellent follow up care from Louise Jones who checked on my progress and answered any concerns I had at all hours. Nitin provided great care in the surgery of the posts through to the fitting of the actual implant crowns. I’m very happy with the results and the new implants feel just like my own teeth and feel like they’ve always been there. Excellent service all round!

Fantastic experience: Such are the recommendations by our extended family in Cardiff, that we made a 70 mile trip to the practice for treatment. Our whole experience was wholly positive: from a warm welcome on the phone and in person, by Chloe at reception, followed by fantastic care and treatment by Dr Emilly Fell and her team in the surgery room. My daughter chipped her tooth at rugby on a Tuesday evening, We reached out to Gemma and Chris and they fixed her tooth by 09:30am sharp the very next day, ready for school. Fantastic experience: I recently joined the surgery on recommendation from my wife who has been with them for years. I needed a cap replacement and met Chris to discuss. Chris offered advice on a range of options and also suggested some other cosmetic improvements that could be made. There was no hard sell and I am so glad I took his advice. What an improvement. All staff are friendly and welcoming. Convenient surgery location and free parking too. I highly recommend Cedars Dental Practice.

Prices are really reasonable too! I found Chris because I wanted to remove a silver amalgam and because he did such a great job I have since decided to switch to his practise permanently. Thank you! Fantastic experience: Exceptional service the whole way!! I went to Dr Chris Truman and Cedars Dentist for my orthodontic work, using clear aligners. He was incredibly informative and helpful from the beginning regarding the capabilities of the treatment, and what was achievable. He was also very calming and put me at ease whenever I had to have sight alterations to the teeth in between aligners. We then finished the treatment with composite bonding over a chipped tooth, and his work was incredible! I could have never imagined the final outcome! They look fantastic ! It was worth every penny. I am very happy and would recommend Dr Chris again and again! Thank you all.

Fantastic experience: I had been suffering with nagging and worsening toothache, which I eventually decided was not going away, so I contacted the surgery for help. Thankfully they were able to fit me in quickly. I discussed available options with Emily, who kindly saw me in Chris's absence, which came down to an immediate extraction. While not a pleasant experience, Emily was gentle and reassuring and succeeded in removing the problem tooth. I always find the care at Cedars to be professional and first class.

Fantastic experience: Friendly efficient and works quickly and keeps to the appointment time. Nothing to fault and have been with him now for some time and currently am having an old crown replaced. They also send reminders of appointment via email and phone. Fees are reasonable.

Fantastic experience: Hi readers. I recently decided to register with Cedars Dental Surgery after reading their reviews on Google. I'm so glad that I did, because not only are Chris and Nitin amazing dentists, but the rest of the Cedars team are amazing too. A big shout out to Sophie who works front of house. Sophie is knowledgeable, always smiling, and a pleasure to talk too, and so are all the other girls who are in the same role. I've got quite a journey ahead of me in regards to treatment that I need and want, and this has started with root canal treatment, which was painless and no big deal at all (don't listen to all the horror stories) This will be followed up by two crowns. I'm starting my teeth whitening in order for me to have composite bonding top and bottom. I'll be having my fillings replaced from silver to white, and two dental implants at the back and that's me done!! The reason why I'm explaining what treatments I'm having, is because if you need or want to look after your teeth and have a great confident smile, then it's all possible at Cedars. No hard pushing sales, just good honest caring dentists that want to help. Thanks team, see you in a few weeks.

Fantastic experience: Fabulous dentist. Very friendly and reassuring from Cath on the reception desk to Chris the dentist ( I was initially very nervous of going to the dentist). Very thorough, shows you all your xrays and talks you through them giving you as much information as you need. A treatment plan is formulated and followed. Follow up includes a telephone call the day after to make sure you are okay. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Couldn't give them a lower rating if you paid me to! I have been going to this surgery for 2 years and decided to get Composite Bonding a couple of months ago for my wedding. The at-home teeth whitening worked amazingly and the composites... WOW. Didn't think I could be that happy with my teeth! The staff are all lovely as well, not just Chris and Nitin (the dentists) but the reception staff, the dental nurse, all of them. If you're unsure about any dental work or thinking about moving practices I can highly recommend these guys. Such good service, good prices and so professional. 10/10

Fantastic experience: I cannot thank Dr Chris Truman enough for the dental work he carried out on my teeth. He is very friendly, professional and puts you completely at ease. The staff at the surgery are also friendly and helpful. This Monday I completed my Invisalign treatment to have my front teeth straightened, one was crossing over the front of the one tooth. My teeth are now straight. Chris bonded my teeth, closed the slight gap and sorted out my receding gum line. I now have the perfect Hollywood smile Thank you so much Dr Chris Truman for giving a 64 year old the confidence to smile again.

Fantastic experience: After a bicycle accident, I needed to see a Dentist with some urgency. The Cedars surgery team made an appointment for me the very next day. The professionalism I experienced from start to finish was so refreshing. Chris, the Dentist that carried out the correction was absolutely fantastic. His assistant was extremely attentive and made absolutely sure that I was as comfortable as I could have been. The dental work carried out for me must have been made more difficult for Chris due to the swelling and stitches he had to work around but he managed to do that without me feeling any pain. He managed to make my teeth look exactly how they were before the accident. My teeth look amazing and it does not look like anything has happened. I highly recommend Chris and his team. Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience at this surgery, The team are friendly and very accommodating. Dr Duggal saw me for a same day emergency appointment and got me out of pain, he then continued to see me to restore my tooth and I am over the moon with end the result. The practice arranged appointments around my work schedule and Dr Duggal even saw me when I ran really late on one of my appointments. Top Dentistry and all round top service throughout, I'm so glad I found this surgery!!

Negative experience: I would give 5 stars to Dr. Duggal's assistant and reception staff. My experience with Dr. Duggal was.. bizarre. I indicated right at the beginning of my hygiene that my teeth were sensitive. I received no numbing agent at this point. As as you'd have it, I started jolting and twitching when my bottom front teeth were reached. After my face was visibly contorting, Dr. Duggal asked if I wanted a local anaesthetic. I said yes. Once the injection was administered - after only 30 seconds or so- the work continued (the dentist didn't make sure the area was numb before resuming). The pain ensued, after which I got two (!) more injections. It was probably due to the sheer amount of anaesthetic that the pain subsided (but didn't disappear since, once again, not enough time was left for this to work). I was "done" in about 5-7 minutes after this. I came home with 3-injections worth suddenly hitting me, and noticed that the insides of my teeth were still stained and there was clearly more work to be done. I've heard similar reviews re Dr Duggal rushing his appointments. I don't know if its bad luck/ pandemic/ fatigue etc etc but I have cancelled my monthly plan and have now found a different dentist.

Fantastic experience: Really glad to have found Cedars. I've had two emergencies in the last 6 months and both times they fitted me in within 24 hours notice. Dr Duggal is amazing and very professional. I'm a nervous patient but he made me feel at ease and more importantly, I've had zero problems with the crown he fittted 5 months ago. Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Chris and his support team highly enough. I have had many dentists and alot of dental work, over the years and I have no hesitation in saying, Chris is without at doubt the best! He and his team went beyond my hopes and expectations, ensuring that a large body of work was completed before my daughter's wedding, going out of their way to squeeze me around my job. Thisi workt included the initial, 2 crowns, a composite replacement and scale and polish. All were done painlessly and to the highest standard, within less than 3 weeks. As you can tell, I am a very happy satisfied customer. The dental work and customer service here are first class, making going to the dentist a pleasure.
