Tooth Club - Loughton High Road

Negative experience: Booked in for a free Invisalign consultation. I was contacted to reschedule with no explanation 50 minutes before my appointment. Went into the store as I saw it whilst already travelling, was told to wait 30 minutes then up to an hour so I rescheduled for a telephone appointment at 12pm the same day. Never received a phone call at the scheduled time... avoid if you want professional service. This is my first experience with them, and it has not been professional or encouraging. Truly shocking when you're willing to spend money with the company.

Negative experience: Advertise free consultation but charged me £200 all together. Needed a filling, they couldn’t (or didn’t want to) do it, so they advised to do a root canal or extract. Went to another dentist a week later who did the filling and said the tooth and nerve was healthy. Almost lost a tooth due to their poor advice. If you need dental work, I’d stay away. As they mentioned to me while I was there, they are a cosmetic dentistry brand. Edit after companies response: I would not reply but the facts in the response are false and painting a false image of what happened. No follow up was discussed or booked. No money was returned as claimed. There was no need for any aligners, this wasn’t even something that was discussed, the tooth was not decayed, as the next dentist was able to do the simple filling the week after. I had a bad experience, but the lies in the reply further solidifies the type of establishment it is.

You can tell she’s passionate about what she does and genuinely wants the best for her patients. If you’re looking for a dentist who combines professionalism, warmth, and amazing results, Sepideh is the one. I wouldn’t trust my smile with anyone else!

Negative experience: VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

Negative experience: Unfortunately one of the worst experiences Ive ever HAD they say one price on the phone but then when you go to the clinic the prices suddenly get higher its outrageous that shouldn’t be allowed then when you ask why you wasn’t informed they just say “oh well the prices only recently got higher” which is not good enough I should have been told prior to coming to my appointments very bad and unprofessional

Negative experience: Unfortunately, my experience at The Tooth Club in Loughton has been disappointing from start to finish. Communication has been a constant problem. The reception/booking team is a call centre based abroad, making it difficult to speak to someone directly, and this has led to several administrative errors. I originally enquired about cosmetic bonding, but was incorrectly quoted for a completely different service. Only after signing the financial agreement — and being encouraged to waive the cooling-off period — was I told in the waiver that chipping was likely and that there was an optional monthly maintenance fee. This felt far from transparent. On the day of my appointment, I waited over 20 minutes in reception with nobody there. I was later asked to come in and collect my moulds, only to be told they weren’t ready — despite receiving a text reminder to “not forget” to collect them. To add to this, I was even given the wrong whitening solution, despite raising concerns about sensitivity during my consultation. The bonding treatment itself has also been disappointing. Flossing has become extremely difficult since the procedure, and overall I have not been impressed with the quality of the work or the standards during my visits. A free cleaning was offered, but I declined, as it felt like my concerns were being dismissed rather than taken seriously. When I requested to visit another sister branch in the hope of a better experience, I was flatly refused and told the warranty small print prevented this. Debbie (who I assume is the regional manager) was particularly dismissive, insisting all my concerns had already been “addressed” while informing me I’d been booked in for a follow-up appointment — without even providing a time. She did not seek to speak to me and showed no interest. She repeatedly insisted it was vital for me to see the same dentist. I therefore was shocked when I walked into my appointment to see a different dentist, who could offer no explanation. Management seem to make up their rules as they go along. Update: The number below is not to speak to management (they have my number and are aware of my complaint) it is in fact to a call centre in South Africa. Overall, I’ve found the service disorganised, dismissive, and lacking in both transparency and professionalism. I would not recommend The Tooth Club in Loughton.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Tooth Club Loughton were incredibly informative and supportive throughout my treatment. I had an implant and composite bonding, and the dentists were always transparent about the process. We worked together to achieve the look I wanted, which made me feel really involved in the decisions. My Invisalign treatment took a little longer than expected (which I understand is quite normal). The rest of the work was carried out efficiently, I’m really pleased with the results. The admin team were also fantastic, always helpful and making sure I never missed an appointment. Thank you all!

Negative experience: I visited this dental clinic due to crowding and misalignment in my teeth. I was told that after a 5-month clear aligner treatment, my teeth would be corrected. However, at the end of the 5 months, my teeth were still not properly aligned, yet I was informed that my treatment had finished. I was also told that if I wanted to continue, I would need to pay an additional fee. During the process, I faced extra costs that had not been clearly explained at the beginning. In total, I paid around £3,000, but I am not satisfied with the outcome. I am not accusing the clinic of being fraudulent – the staff were always polite and friendly – but unfortunately, my dental issues were not resolved and I am left very disappointed with the results.

Fantastic experience: What a fantastic experience from start to finish!!!! Starting with a questions based appointment with Daisy, who goes absolutely above and beyond to answer any questions you may have about your treatment! Not only is she super smiley and friendly, but so pure and honest with her advice! (The other receptionist is also super friendly and smiley giving great vibes) I then had my bonding completed by Dr Sepi who has to be one of the best around! Starting with a polish and whitening, she makes you feel at ease immediately and couldn’t do anymore to make sure the process is right for you. Then moving onto bonding day itself; Dr.Sepi effortlessly gives you the smile you always wanted whilst ensuring you feel in control of the colour, placement and size of your new bonded teeth. She clearly is unbelievably talented (and even better: a top, top person) and feel blessed to have had work done by her!!! I will only ever use tooth club, Dr.Sepi and the team from now going forward! (Even if you are on the fence thinking about it, my advice is at least book in there for a chat and you won’t look back) I

Fantastic experience: I visited Tooth Club a couple of days ago and had a great experience! I had an intraoral scan done , followed by a consultation where everything was clearly explained to me. I also had a professional teeth cleaning, and I left feeling really happy with the results. Sepi was amazing — so friendly, informative, and professional. She made the whole process clear and comfortable. I’m going back soon for a filling and honestly couldn’t be happier with the care I received. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: My experience at Toothclub Loughton was nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to warn others about the subpar service and unprofessional conduct I encountered. Upon visiting Toothclub for bonding, I was persuaded by one of their dentists, Sepideh, to opt for an Invisalign treatment instead. Despite my reservations, I trusted her expertise, only to discover later that I had been misled about the treatment's cost. It felt like a bait-and-switch tactic, leaving me feeling deceived and taken advantage of. Throughout the treatment process, Sepideh's demeanor shifted from dismissive to outright belittling. She repeatedly downplayed my concerns, made inaccurate statements about cancellation policies, and even insisted I sign a document against my wishes. Her lack of professionalism and disregard for my rights as a patient were alarming and deeply unsettling. The quality of the treatment itself was equally disappointing. From inadequate cleaning before bonding to a misdiagnosis resulting in chipped natural teeth, it was clear that Sepideh lacked the necessary attention to detail and skill required for such procedures. Her improper bonding technique not only failed to address my dental issues but also caused further damage to my teeth. Additionally, despite my justified request for a full refund for the Invisalign treatment, Toothclub Loughton failed to provide adequate compensation for the harm caused by Sepideh's incompetence. This further highlights their disregard for customer satisfaction and fair treatment. Moreover, it's essential to highlight the unprofessional conduct of the manager, who resorted to intimidation in an attempt to dissuade me from writing a negative review or reporting them. Such behavior is unacceptable and only further underscores the lack of integrity and accountability within Toothclub Loughton. Customers should not have to fear repercussions for sharing their honest experiences and seeking resolution for subpar service. In light of my experience, I strongly urge prospective customers to think twice before trusting Toothclub Loughton with their dental care. The lack of transparency, poor communication, and disregard for patient well-being make it clear that Toothclub falls short of providing the quality service and care that patients deserve. Save yourself the headache and seek dental care elsewhere. Update- I have then called today to speak to someone after receiving the comment from the owner and did not get through to anyone I also called late month and nothing has been done I think the message from the owner was a generic message and I don’t think the intention was to sort it out

Fantastic experience: Got my composite bonding done here and could not recommend this place enough! From the consultation with the lovely girls on reception to the prep to the actual bonding my experience was so smooth and any questions that I had were always answered. My bonding was done by Sepi who is amazing at what she does and transformed my smile, she did exactly what I asked for and let me see half way through to make sure that I was happy with how she was doing it. Such a good place, lovely staff, professional and very clean and tidy

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience with The Tooth Fairy Club. I was canceled on twice, and although my appointment was rescheduled, when I finally arrived, nobody was available to do my treatment. This was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I also want to share my honest feedback — feedback is crucial for any business, especially in situations like these where I paid for a service that was not provided on multiple occasions. Initially, I was told my treatment would be canceled, but then I was contacted and told a dentist had been found to do my treatment. Despite multiple attempts to withdraw payment from my account, the payments continued even though the treatment was never carried out. I have made numerous efforts to contact the company for a refund and clarity, but I’ve been repeatedly promised a call from management which I am still waiting for. I’ve also been wrongly contacted by the financial department claiming I owe money, which I deny, and I have reported this as potentially fraudulent activity. I have involved my solicitor, reported the matter to Trading Standards, police, and other authorities, and I am prepared to take legal action for compensation. I also plan to share my experience publicly to warn others. Overall, I found the service extremely unprofessional and the handling of my case to be unacceptable. I hope this review encourages the company to improve their standards and address these issues seriously.

Fantastic experience: Couldnt reccomend Tooth club enough, Excellent customer service throughout. Daisy on the front desk was especially helpful ensuring my appointmets were quick and suited my schedule perfectly. Dr Vimaal Chohan talked me through the wide range of services provided and once we chose the best fit for me i had my appointment within weeks. When i had my composite bonding done it was quick painless and my results were amazing i couldnt be happier. A very professional, caring and well run business. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I chose Toothclub in Loughton above all other companies I had researched as Miriam, who dealt with my enquiry was so friendly plus the practice is local, offered me a good price for treatment and the word of mouth from others was excellent. I am I my late 40s, an actress and had been slowly disliking my smile as I could see how much my teeth had moved over the years. Sepi has been my dentist throughout my treatment for my Sparks aligners and after just 10 months, the results are amazing! Whitening was included at the end of my alignment program and I paid a little extra for composite on the top front 4 teeth to iron out little chips. Sepi has been so professional and caring throughout and never late for an appointment . I would highly recommend Toothclub Loughton and the Sparks aligners treatement.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited Loughton Tooth Club for composite bonding, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience from start to finish. The process began with my consultation with Miriam, then collecting my whitening kit 2 weeks prior to the procedure. The team was incredibly professional, taking the time to explain how to use the kit effectively. They were patient and informative, ensuring I was comfortable with the instructions. The whitening trays fit perfectly, and I saw noticeable results after just a few days of use, which gave me a great boost in confidence before moving on to the bonding. Once I finished the whitening, I returned for the composite bonding procedure. My dentist was amazing (Vim) thorough, attentive, and approachable. After the procedure I received aftercare instructions and I couldn’t be happier with the results.

Negative experience: Kept cancelling my appointments 4x in the last few weeks , I left a deposit and ask the last time they cancelled for it to be paid back as I will go somewhere they don’t keep cancelling. Not very helpful in the way they took my money was easy but paying it back still haven’t sent me refund or proof that they they’ve put it through! Nightmare dentist all looks ok polite when taking money not so polite when trying to get your refund back. Reading some of the reviews I’m glad I never went ! Shocking behaviour! Negative experience: Let me start from the beginning so I got my composite bonding done in 2023 in Hammersmith branch my consultation was good I was told that I could only do my top teeth due to my bite on the left side, which I was kinda sad about but clearly the dentist knows what he’s talking about so I listened and only done my top, I also done finance as my payment option. Now! the customer service was amazing up until now in 2024, I went to get my bonding done which went well. After a few days when the excitement had worn off I noticed my teeth a very thick I mean to the point my lip was not sitting comfortably over my teeth. I called up expressed my concerns and they told me to come in to shave them down which I did at this appointment I expressed to dentist that I was upset about not being able to do my bottom teeth he then said I could but not 8 teeth maybe 6 for £1000. I was confused due to what he said the last time I was also advised do the finance option again which I was not willing to do so only my top teeth are done. I walked away and was still not happy. The reason I didn’t bother go back is because At the time I got my teeth done my dad was admitted to hospital and sadly passed away so I was not in the right headspace. As time went of and grief got a bit easier I just really wasn’t happy with with my teeth and I couldn’t soldier my emotions anymore and sent a complaint in that one of my tooth was flat and was at a weird angle and another was still to thick, you could tell depending what angle your looking at me from. I was told to come in to sort it out which I did, bear in mind that I live in London, the Hammersmith branch is closed and I had to travel to Essex. I got my teeth sorted the tooth that was flat was thicker and the thicker tooth was shaved down. Whilst all this is happening I was told that I would need to get use to my new teeth which can sometimes take time, ok cool! Went home still wasn’t happy the flat tooth was now too thick. I said to myself ill give it couple days which I did but I was still not happy, I called up booked an appointment for the following week at this point I couldn’t be bothered with it anymore and decided that I’m not going back I’ll just get my teeth done elsewhere. On the day of my appointment which I completely forgot about I got a call that I was meant to come in I explained that I had forgotten and the receptionist told me that there was a £70 missed appointment fee which I was confused about as this was never told to me if it was i probably would have remembered the appointment and yes i understand that someone else could of had that appointment but the last appointment I had I re ended a reminder call but not for this one. The receptionist said they will have the manager call me I said yes no problem but know one js bothered to call. Oh but that’s not the end of it lool fast forward a couple months MY TOOTH HAS CHIPPED!! Guys I can’t make this up loool so I’ve emailed telling them my tooth is chipped and guess what they are charging my £80 to fix it as my warranty has run out umm I’m sorry but when was you going to tell me that my teeth had warranty or when it would run out loool!! So I said should I expect my other teeth to chip the person responded it depends on my lifestyle! So guys maybe think twice about going to this company they make your teeth look like chewing gum it’s only been just over a year and my tooth is chipped I could have taken my money elsewhere and had better teeth. Fantastic experience: Have been coming to tooth club Loughton for a while. Started with Invisalign then had an implant. The reception staff currently are so much better and more professional than when I started treatment in 2022. Dailson who I saw for my Invisalign is no longer at Loughton but was very good. Toni who fitted my implant has been amazing and very precise to get it right for me. But best of all has been Stacey the new practice manager, she really is great and goes out of her way to assist. BIG UP STACEY!!!!!

Negative experience: Admin Staff at the Loughton high road branch are dreadful. Had my appointments cancelled twice an hour before the appointment. The admin is all over the place and the chap I spoke to on the front desk was so rude I have never had such a bad experience. Would recommend finding another dentist unless you can deal with sloppy and rude admin!

Fantastic experience: I am not sure if this can be sent to the lovely ladies in the Loughton branch, but I went in for a repair to my composite bonding last week on Friday, and I was so happy with the service that I received. After a not so good experience last year, I wasn’t sure if I would use the tooth club again, but I am so glad that I came back. The lovely lady on reception, I think her name was Marian, was absolutely amazing, she was so professional and kind. I just would love for this feedback to be passed to them. Thank you so much x

Fantastic experience: I had my composite bonding today by Dr Vimaal C at Loughton tooth club, and honestly he’s absolutely amazing. The team at tooth club make you feel comfortable, and throughout the process today he kept on checking on me to see if I was comfortable. He allowed me to give feedback, and he made sure he designated time and care to create my desired look. I’m very pleased with the end results and can’t wait to go back for my review appointment.

Negative experience: Avoid at all costs!!! when I went to my appointment the dentist didn’t do to work needed ie: fillings just went straight ahead and done composite bonding and when I questioned the dentist about they didn’t take no notice now I’m left with problems with my teeth! would not recommend!!! #moneygrabbers

Fantastic experience: I was booked in via Station Road Dental practice (also in Loughton) to begin my scans for invisalign. Dr Vim was able to book me in the following day to begin the process. Remarkable service which certainly earns my recommendation! The ladies on reception were lovely and welcoming when I arrived offering me a drink. Dr Vim and his team were all lovely and professional too! Thank you all once again. (I also thought the decor in the waiting room was nice and did not feel extremely clinical as opposed to other practices I have visited)

Fantastic experience: I visited Tooth Club recently for a routine checkup, full clean and whitening. The staff were absolutely incredible. Ellie was so friendly and professional, creating a warm and inviting environment. After a couple of weeks of using the whitening kit, the results are stunning. I can’t recommend this place enough! 10/10

Negative experience: If I had the chance to do my teeth all over again I would avoid Tooth Club in Loughton by all costs! I have had a problem with one of my teeth and it is still yet to be corrected and twice I have been down there to have an appointment cancelled on me when I arrive in the branch. The reception staff are so rude and think they own the shop they was they talk to customers typical Essex attitude. They are quick to take your money but after wards they don’t want to know about the after care. I have had friends who have had so much better experience and results in other places

Fantastic experience: I can truthfully say that it has been one of the most beautiful dental clinic i have been to and one of the most enjoyable experiences I had. Beside the fact that the clinic always looks impeccable and the decor looks literally heavenly, Andreea one of the doctors she is so caring, patient and funny always good vibes when I go there and the staff always helpful and pleasant to be around. Andreea is the best doctor I ever had she knows exactly what she s doing and because of that she finishes fast and I may say vert light handed as well. It is always a pleasure to go back there! 5 stars plus. Thank youu Tooth Clubb and especially Andreea!!
