Fantastic experience: I found this dentist because I wanted to get one of my tooth removed they advised not to as it wasn’t causing any problems. I also asked about teeth whitening which they said that they would not do until they sorted out my gum disease which was so extensive that I was losing bone in my jaw. They have been so caring and thoughtful about looking after my teeth and making my have healthy teeth and progress over aesthetics which has been really nice to see and obviously health of teeth will prolong how long you have them so you’re aesthetic will be longer anyway. Highly recommend they’ve all been So lovely

Negative experience: Unfortunately this is the second time I have encountered a poor experience with this Cathedral hence the review. Today, I had some very straightforward questions regarding insurance for a dental procedure I wanted undertaking at this practice but the response and interaction with the whomever I were speaking to today was quite challenging. The immediate response I received was, "we don't do that and the dentist doesn’t do that” Rather than perhaps fact finding what I needed to do to to enable me to get the answers needed to proceed with procedure. Whilst I got the answers in the end - the interaction was unfriendly and is not what I would expect from a private practice. On another occasion, during a consultation, I was made to feel silly for asking genuine questions about a procedure that were very reasonable. The responses were very sarcastic, such a poor experience that I can remember word for word the exchanges - which made me feel very uneasy to go back to this practice but I thought I would give the practice one more opportunity. These two experiences have made me feel uncomfortable to use this practice again. Most patients want to feel like they can trust their dentist/ specialist - especially when dentists can be daunting for some people. The interactions that I have had with Cathedral has fallen far beyond short of what I expected and I personally would not recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend the Cathedral Dental team enough, the whole team have been nothing short of exceptional, a few years had passed since I’d been to a dentist & indeed would have done just about anything to avoid going - however this dentist has restored my trust & confidence ! I’m now seeing my dentist & hygienist regularly & cannot be happier, my teeth & gums are best they have been for years !

Fantastic experience: We came to Cathedral dental earlier in the year for my teenage daughter as she was very interested in Invisalign treatment. After setting her up, loving the practice and staff, and being well underway i decided to seek help for a dental issue id had for a number of years. I had a molar that had been crowned over 12 years ago that needed urgent attention as it was disintegrating and very painful. Sadly i had seen 3 dentists regarding the fixing of it and they hadn't been able to numb me sufficiently to carry out any work in the tooth and each time the pain would increase. The anticipation and then frustration of multiple dentists left me feeling despair and that maybe the only solution might be removal (if anyone could numb me enough for that). As you can imagine i was not expecting great things at my appointment with Indy this past week, but i explained all i know to him and we “gave it a go”. As i type, i am in possession of a wonderful new temporary crown, have had a wonderful tidy up and obviously removal of the offending crown, and wouldn’t you know, he numbed me up first time and i felt NOTHING! This is such a fantastic experience (albeit dental ), and he succeeded where others had failed! My total faith in Indy and his team is clear, and for his knowledge and care i will always be grateful! I also still have a full head of teeth haha. The whole team are friendly, caring, funny, compassionate and very talented. I would recommend them time and again.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Cathedral Dental for 5 years now and I can’t recommend them enough! Always a professional and friendly service. Indy is great and done an amazing job of straightening my teeth and all the aftercare since. A recent trip to see Emma for a hygienist appointment was a great experience. I was nervous and she put me at ease and was so gentle. If private dental treatment is affordable for you, then go to Cathedral Dental!

Negative experience: I called today to enquire about treatment via BUPA Dental Policy, the receptionist didn't even let me finish my questions, she was hostile and told me that I have to pay £165 to get the information...I only wanted to know how to register and when I can book the appointment.

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been looked after so Well by all staff at cathedral dental practice. Every time we visit they made us feel so welcome. Especially loved talking wire Adam on reception . My daughters teeth look amazing, very happy

However, they were able to work with me and within a year I had completed my treatment. I am really happy with the finish. Fantastic experience: Having now had my second hygienist appointment, I can safely say it is one of the most comfortable and relaxing experiences at a dental practise. Emma and Lauren were very friendly and made put me at ease straight away. Everything was explained and taken at a pace I could handle, especially when it came to a painful area of gums. The airflow system they used was so much easier to handle for someone with a strong reflex. They gave me some very useful advice to help with keeping my gums healthy and brushing hard to reach areas. There were so polite and sympathetic, I really felt their encouraging words gave me a positive step forward. I would highly recommend Cathedral Dental for any dental work and an amazing friendly service.

Fantastic experience: I decided to choose Cathedral Dental for my Invisalign journey because of recommendations from two of my friends. I literally have never looked forward to visiting the dentist, but the last few appointments I’ve had, I’ve been keen and willing. Everything was explained extremely well and I felt in very good hands. Trusting a dentist can be hard but I immediately felt at ease here. In 5 weeks I am finishing up my 23 week course of aligners and I’m honestly looking forward to heading back and seeing what the next steps involve. I live in stowmarket, where at the moment the A14 is a nightmare to travel on, but I would sooner sit in traffic and leave mega early then go anywhere closer to home. I have also recommended a friend who needed very different work to me, and he has also expressed a similar experience. Huge thank you to Danah, Hannah and Indy, and not forgetting the reception staff who are very welcoming. Well done

Fantastic experience: I could not recommend Cathedral Dental enough. I have always been self concious of my smile, due to my teeth not being very visible. Emma listened to my concerns and was able to create my dream smile by placing composite veneers. The service was perfect, I felt really well looked after throughout the whole journey and the practice itself is beautiful. Fantastic experience: Indy has been our family dentist for many years now and has given us the best advice and care. It’s a delight going to the dentist. My daughter has been brought up under Cathedral Dental's care and still has no fillings. Amy our hygienist is excellent, explaining every stage, and giving practical tips on tooth care. The hygienist team have also been caring for my daughter’s teeth since she was 4 and she loves the hygienist too. What a fabulous dental practice.

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t recommend Cathedral Dental more!!! After being terrified of the dentist since a child and embarrassed of my smile for years, Rahul has given me back so much confidence and I couldn’t be more grateful!! The team are all so lovely and always friendly and reassuring. The whole process was smooth, and every step of the way was explained. Fantastic experience: Had a wonderful experience with Amy and Muiry for my hygienist appointment. I've seen Amy a few times now and she is so kind, reassuring and educates on how you can improve. She creates a calm environment and shows not just tells you what you need to do. Would 100% recommend. Adam on reception is also always kind and so helpful. Overall the practice is run really great and filled with friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Fantastic experience: I had João and Sophie for an extraction today and I was pleasantly surprised with how quick and easy it was! I barely felt a thing, they spoke to me through the entire process and it was done so quickly. Would highly recommend anybody that isn’t a huge fan of going to the dentist to use them!

Fantastic experience: Aniel did my dentistry work on a root canel at the cathedral dentistry in bury st edmunds Suffolk. He was excellent. He explained everything about the procedure, at what needed to be done. He and the staff at the cathedral dentistry were very polite and considerate, a friendly warm welcome staff. I did enquire if he would possibly be my dental doctor/for regular check ups? I would recommend Aniel and also the cathedral dental practices. Five stars from me. Robert Jacobs

Fantastic experience: First visit to the practice for myself and my husband. Everyone was so kind, Adam on reception, Emma and her very kind dental nurse, couldn't have been more patient and understanding. Thank you from us both, and we certainly highly recommend this wonderful practice.

Fantastic experience: This dentist is absolutely brilliant. Not only did they fit me in for an emergency last minute on a Friday afternoon but the care has been exceptional. Husband went to another dentist and had some issues, I reccomended he come to Cathedral and they really minimised his worries. We pay privately so it is quite pricey (same as anywhere else privately) but they are just exceptional. Also wanted to give some recognition to Adam on reception - he is brilliant. He's attentive, very friendly and remembers you every time and makes you feel at ease. Also Emma, the hygenist, is incredible. She is so thorough and passionate about what she does. She is so kind and, again, makes you feel at ease. My teeth and gums are in really good condition now after their care. Was reccomended to buy Oral B io6 toothbrush and it has changed the game. Again, pretty pricey, but they know what they're talking about. Never had such a good experience consistently.

Fantastic experience: I have always had such a positive experience at Cathedral Dental. All the staff I have encountered - Emma in particular - have been friendly, professional and helpful. There have even been a couple of occasions when they have squeezed in an extra Invisalign scan, or two days before my wedding taken my attachments off! Truly above and beyond. Being quite anxious, the team have always put me at ease and explained things clearly, with good communication and willingness to answer any questions. I am very grateful - thank you.

Negative experience: The most disgusting and disrespectful way of treating someone especially this days.. because I was late ten minutes they said that I lost my deposit of £150 and that they couldn’t see me unless I paid again 150£ .

Fantastic experience: What a relaxing stressless experience today. Rahul is cheerfully relaxed carefully explaining exactly the procedures taking place and how long he thinks it’ll take. Pausing after every step to check I’m ok. This was for an ‘on lay’ painless! Today he was assisted by the quietly spoken Jorja continuing the calm atmosphere.

The service provided by all has been very professional from start to finish, From the friendly Adam & Hannah on reception to Indy and his team undertaking all dentistry work. Previous dental experiences growing up had left me with a fear of dentists, coming to Cathedral dentistry has allayed that fear somewhat.
