Fantastic experience: In the years since Rik took over at Clarence Dental, he has become a friend and not merely our dentist. As well as excellent treatment, we always get an update on the state of the mouth and which teeth look as if they will need treatment in the near to medium future. That we still come back to Rik, having moved away to Oxfordshire, says it all.

Fantastic experience: Having not been to the dentist is way too long, and being very nervous of the process, Rik was patient and explained everything clearly. He made an initial assesment of set out a clear and affordable treatment plan. In the chair; I always felt that I was in safe hands and each process was explained rather than having someone root around in my mouth. I'm super happy with Rik and his team and whilst it's a 45min drive for me, it's one i'll continue to make!

Fantastic experience: If you’re like me, and have always been nervous and put off with going to the dentist. Then I couldn’t recommend Clarence dental practise enough… I actually travel from the other side of London just to come here. That’s how much they make me feel at ease. It’s a very stress free and calming experience, for a dentist appointment!!! The waiting room is homely, and the staff are so nice and welcoming. I would 100% recommend!! :-)

He advised me on how to improve and maintain dental care. Dental check up with Dr. Rik: Dr. Rik is very friendly. He reviews previous treatments to see how the dental care is progressing. He would take the time to explain any concerns and treatment options available. I had a filling done which went smoothly. He has always been very professional and honest. Would highly recommend his practice.

Fantastic experience: Clarence Dental Practice is THE best dental practice I have had the pleasure to visit!!! My previous dental practice was all I knew so did not have anything to compare to. I was recommended Clarence Dental Practice by a friend. I booked my appointment and from the moment I walked in I was treated like I was a member of their family. The enthusiastic and friendly greeting at reception to then be shown into the clean, modern and comfortable waiting area. Prior to the appointment I was sent the registration forms as an option to complete before arrival to save time. This is a small touch but made the experience better so I did not have to spend time on a clip board. However, the real advantage was that Dr Patel had already reviewed by information and was able to spend the time on my appointment examining my mouth. The actual appointment was the most thorough examination I have ever had. Dr Patel spent time looking at every aspect of my teeth and general mouth health, utilizing modern technology and then spent time explaining and showing me he assessment conclusions. Dr Patel's knowledge and experience was really evident to the extent that it made me seriously question my previous Dental Practice, from the view that they were never that thorough and not that detailed in explaining the assessment to me. I had a follow-on appointment with the hygienist and again, the appointment was so thorough I came out with the feeling of having new teeth. The hygienist took the time to use a model of teeth and explain exactly how I should brush and then took the time to find me the correct type of flossing brushes. I have never really taken the health of my mouth seriously save from investing in an electric toothbrush and using mouth wash. After visiting Clarence Dental Practice I have found an enthusiasm and desire to do more to improve my mouth health. They are not just dental practitioners they are teachers who inspire you to do much better with the hygiene and health of your mouth. My advice to anyone reading this is to give Dr Patel and his team a try, I am absolutely confident that once you have this 5+++ service you will not go to any other Dental Practice. Fantastic experience: From start to finish, the Clarence Dental Practice provides excellent patient care. Rik and his team are professional, and it shows in their work. The receptionists and nurses are friendly and welcoming, and the patients are well taken care of. Every appointment is sufficiently long so that patients do not feel rushed. Rik ensures that patients understand the treatment plan before they leave the room. Patients are given various treatment options as well as information on required treatment so that they can make an informed decision. The practice was clean, and the aesthetic has a very calm feeling, which adds to the patients' experience.Patients also do not have to wait months for an appointment. They approached the booking system in such a way that if a patient needs a hygienist appointment, it can be done on the same day, saving time and preventing the patient from having to return to the dentist on another day.

Some sensitiveness of my teeth, old darkened fillings and front chipped teeth do not bother me anymore. Thanks to Rikesh and his wonderful team. Fantastic experience: Whilst not being a big fan of the dentist generally, I can say that Rik and his team make the experience as easy (painless!) as possible; from automated booking reminders, a friendly "hello" at reception, an excellent "chair-side" manner - and even post-visit follow-up calls to check that all has gone well. In an age of poor customer service, this is one of the best I've had in recent years.

In my opinion, Rik has successfully taken over the baton from Gary (who built up the practice all those years ago) and Rik and his team have definitely projected it into the 21st Century. The interior is clean and modern with a "wow" factor that wouldn't look out of place in Harley street.... but is in Staines! Nobody likes visiting the dentist, but the whole team go out of their way to ensure you are listened to and made to feel comfortable and safe. The whole atmosphere is warm, friendly and welcoming and Rik's sense of humour ensures you are smiling throughout the whole experience. Fantastic experience: Afraid of dentists? Well, guess what I found the correct one. Dr.Rik the most gentle, experienced and very knowledgeable dentist ever. I have known Dr.Rik for the last 3 years when a friend recommended him very strongly. Starting from the reception at the dental office to all his staff who also where very helpful. Dr. Rik listened with care and patience to all my teething problems. Dr. Rik also gave me a smile that I am proud of to show off everyday. The imacculate work he did on my denture implants and other major work was outstanding. A truly amazing Dr.Rik.

Fantastic experience: Everything was carried out in a very professional manner and care. Rik was very gentle and let me know what what happening throughout my treatment. The staff were very helpful, friendly and professional and also the hygiene was impeccable - with both my dentist and nurse wearing full PPE which included a bespoke fitted mask that looked like a modern version gas mask from WW2 - so it must have been quite uncomfortable for them to wear but was appreciated and made me feel very safe. Fantastic experience: I was recommended to visit Clarence Dental Practice by a work colleague, as I was in severe pain and my normal dentist was not able to help. I was immediately put at ease from the initial call to their reception staff member when booking in. I'm not local to the practice but it was well worth the journey to see them. I saw Dr Patel and came away with no pain nor discomfort at all. I felt so relaxed in the chair and he was so calm throughout the I almost fell asleep in the chair. He ended up doing much more work and didn't charge me anything extra. When I offered to pay them for the extra time, he said not to worry about it. I really wish I had found this practice when I was younger and now my entire family have joined. The whole set up, the way they look after their patients (before and after care) is exemplary. I cannot wait for my Invisalign treatment to start now!

Positive experience: I have had a great experience with Clarence Dental Practice despite having really bad teeth, every-time something is wrong they do there best to fix the problem and am seen straight away. It's clean and hygienic. Everything is numb before any treatments and they always use WHITE fillings. The only thing I would say that could maybe be improved is that is more on the expensive side compared to other private practices. I would highly recommend this dentist for any treatments and as well as your standard check ups!

Fantastic experience: Myself and family have been visiting The Clarence Dental Surgery for over 25 years. I was such a nervous patient when I stepped through the door but was made to feel at ease straight away! Times change and Gary and Judith Painter took a well deserved retirement and handed the surgery to Rik. I can honestly say the staff from the ladies at the reception to to the dental nurse/ hygienist and of course Rik are reassuring and professional in their field. The surgery has been updated and looks great and very hi tech but the main thing for myself and the family we have no fear of going to the dentist and feel in safe hands with Rik. Fantastic experience: Have always found the practice very caring and understanding. They are always up front with anything that they are going to. I had a crown fitted cause I broke a tooth, I was very nervous about having it done but made me feel comfortable and even rung me the next after having it done to make sure that I was fine. I never had this treatment with an NHS one.

Fantastic experience: I had a scooter accident at the start of March 2020 where I’d broken my jaw. My jaw had healed. But I was left with some chipped teeth, and glue residue from where the brackets were attached. I tried to make an appointment with my usual dentist, but they were not accepting any appointments due to COVID-19. I decided to give Clarence Dental Practice a call - it was a great decision! They were able to book me for an initial consultation within a few days, and complete treatment within 2 weeks. I am very pleased with the quality of work. My chipped teeth are repaired, the colour of the fillings is perfect. The glue has been removed completely, and my smile is fantastic now! I love it! The team really made me feel at home and at ease. I must stress that the dentist chair is extremely comfortable - so much so, that I was falling asleep while Dr Patel was working on my teeth! I am impressed with how professional the team are. Dr Patel explained in detail, what was being done and made sure I was comfortable throughout the appointment. From the appointment booking to reception greeting, to the treatment and aftercare. All was perfect and I would highly recommend it!
