Negative experience: Sack the receptionists!! They are rude, gossipping about sensitive data of patient files. They are extremely unprofessional and lousy. Treat staff disrespectfully Awful experience dealing with uneducated staff. Will be reporting to the ombudsman and have filed a complaint. Have shared bad review on instagram and social media so patients don’t waste their time here.

Fantastic experience: have had great experience in longsight dental practice. I have got gums disease and I have been visiting my previous dental practice over 2 year and don’t they haven’t done anything and keep tell me we have referred to a dental specialist. I have waited 2 years but no treatment or appointment from specialist received. At the point my gums were so bad that I couldn’t eating properly. Now I registered my self in longsight dental practice and attended my first appointment today. I was given all the details very carefully and dentist Tzu Chien Lin was very professional and first time I have seen a very professional and kind dentist who gave me all the information I needed and explained all the treatment I will receive. After visiting this practice I have no worries and I know I will be getting the right treatment and care. A huge thanks to MR Tzu Chien Lin.

Fantastic experience: My last visit to the Longsight Dental practice was the best experience I have ever had. Here's why I gave them 5 stars. On a good day I don't visit dentist, but the first time that I attended the Longsight Dental practice I liked the treatment that I was giving and so when I another appointment was made for a follow-up I accepted it immediately. Now on this second appointment every thing that was done earlier was revised, everything was explained to me and a new treatment was recommended for a later date. The third and my last and best experience was on the 22nd of October 2025, I arrived on time and was asked to wait in the lounge, after about minutes I was my turn, I was giving two treatment and it made me feel on top of the world, 1 My teeth was cleaned and 2 there was a cavity in one of my premolar tooth, the cavity was covered so perfect that all the sensitivities around were gone immediately. Finally, I really appreciate the work of dentist that treatmented and the Longsight Dental practice for having such a good team, please keep it up. Thank you Adekunle Seriki

Negative experience: DANGER TO HEALTH! AVOID! No amount of words can truly communicate how horrific this dental practice is. I was clinically misdiagnosed by Dr Aishah Choudhri and Dr Hassan Kamran- they both advised me that I required a root canal on a particular tooth, and Dr Aishah in particular advised me that due to the complexity of the root canal treatment that I required, this would necessitate specialist Endodontic treatment by another root canal specialist at Endo 61 in Gatley who would charge me in the region of £800 for the root canal treatment on that tooth, and that she would make the referral to Endo 61 for this treatment. However, due to the unprofessional way that I was treated by Dr Aishah (who suffers from a God complex and a level of arrogance which is limitless) and some other staff at this practice (which includes incidents such as receptionists throwing their weight around and taking liberties with patients, putting the phone down on patients, concocting lies and much, much more) I obtained a second opinion from a different dentist at a different dental practice that same day. I was horrified to be advised by the new dentist that I did not need a root canal at all- I simply required a filling on a completely different tooth which would cost me £70. I had the filling carried out and have not experienced any issues since. If 2 different dentists at this dental practice can’t tell the difference between an offending tooth and a perfectly normal tooth, and a root canal and a filling, then I dread to think how and if other patients are being misdiagnosed and mistreated. I did raise this matter with the dental practice directly who were not interested and give me a shrug of the shoulders response. I subsequently discovered that family members of some of the dentists that I had been treated by also worked at this dental practice at the time, which makes me question truly how independent this practice was in looking at my concerns in light of such corruption. In retrospect I believe that the warning signs were in place from the start of my attending this practice which I should have taken heed of- such when I was lying on a chair with my mouth open, where Dr Aishah Choudhri with one hand was attempting to carry out a filling by putting medical tools into my mouth while simultaneously gossiping throughout the procedure with her dental nurse about the Mehndi (wedding) party that she had attended that weekend when I was simply paying her to carry out a filling, where her exclusive and total attention and focus ought to have been on the medical procedure that she was carrying out and not diverting any of her attention to gossiping with another person throughout the procedure and assailing my ears with this.. UPDATE 2: I would suggest that you communicate with your staff by showing this review to Dr Aishah, so that she can confirm the accuracy of my review. If she needs a reminder, this is the matter where the Dentist for the General Dental Council provided her with the following feedback: “I am critical that the registrant [Dr Aishah] did not assess the LR7 caries with a vitality test to assess the pulp health of this tooth as part of a possible cause of pain in the lower right quadrant”. It is disappointing that this dental practice has only been motivated to respond to me, in any fashion, once I have posted a public review regarding my experience- when I contacted them directly they were disinterested and tried to cover up Dr Aishah’s negligence (probably because Dr Aishah’s husband worked at the dental practice at the time too). If anyone experiences any issues with this dental practice, I would recommend that you lodge a complaint with the General Dental Council. The practice manager would do well to ensure her staff act professionally and competently, instead of spending her time writing sarcastic replies to comments and instructing patients to write positive reviews to artificially counteract my accurate experience as outlined above. Does Dr Aisha know the difference between a root canal and a filling yet?

Negative experience: Receptionist either need sacking or a lesson in being polite. Called up to make an appointment and was told I was removed because I haven’t been since 2021. Last time I checked a patient cannot be unregistered without being told before hand. When I asked if they could register me back in I was told “that would never happen because you haven’t been in so long we assumed you were dead or moved away” and then I was told to call up other dental practises and “good luck with that” horrible service. I was already weary about going back since the dentist I last saw for a root canal should’ve been a butcher instead of a dentist.

Negative experience: Receptionist sat there talking about how they hate working there. The dentist was aggressive with my child who has asthma. He was getting nervous over the treatment. I didn't like how she interacted with my child. I now need to find replacement dentist. I saw the dentist this month who was really good. Unfortunately the one who saw my child has changed for about the 4th time and was awful

Negative experience: Had route canal part of the affected tooth fell out whilst eating,then another part some sticky like substance fell apart to not happy but hopefully next time I'm there they can resolve,now left with a hole in tooth ...

Positive experience: Dentist and receptionist were nice and I can’t fault the actual checkup. However, I had to wait 50 mins AFTER my appointment time and while chatting with a woman in the waiting room she told me this was the norm.

Negative experience: Absolute waste of time this surgery is. 12:20 was meant to be my appointment. Wasn't seen till 12:55. Over half an hour I had to wait. While I could hear the dentist and her assistant have a chit chat and showing pictures to each other on the phone. Wasn't offered a proper clean either. Wasn't provided with a decent service. Teeth weren't cleaned properly. Never coming back here again and will make a complaint to NHS

Negative experience: This is the 2nd time in a row where ive been kept waiting both this and the previous appointment. On both occasions its been 15-20 minutes waiting for me to be in and out with in 5- 10 minutes and then to be charged for the privilege.

Negative experience: Receptionist blonde hair was so very rude I was in need due to my chronic pains. I was late twice, and she couldn't wait to say that I've fail twice and she is removing me from the list. She took pleasure in saying that without any emphasis, I'm so upset as I have been a patient there long time no loyalty what so ever. I received a text from the practice this morning, saying they are taking new patients so I called after calling some time I got through, the Receptionist ask for my name/dob and in the background I could hear NO NO SHE'S NOT COMING BACK HERE! I couldn't believe what I was hearing...this person I recognised quite well the one with the false eyelashes she should be sack by her manager as she clearly doesn't have a clue about patients' code practice. Disgusting behaviour. But I will say my dentist was good. So at the moment I'm left without a DENTIST!

I said I would like to sign up to the plan but she insisted on sending me an email and told me I had to read it and call back another time to register. Negative experience: Really bad receptionist. Without any reason they cancelled my daughter's appointment. They booked the appointment on their system at 3.30 then I got a letter and on the letter it was written that appointment is 3.45 then I got a message that appointment is 3.50. By the way I went at 3.45 then they told me that I was late for 15mint. When I showed them all the evidence then they spoke to dc. Then dc said he/she was busy and couldn't able to see my daughter. They were misbehaving. They played with us 3 times in one month. We are 115 family members in Manchester and most of us registered with this dental surgery. Now most of left from this surgery. They were discriminating with Muslim people. There was another lady with niqab and they cancelled also her appointment and they told her that she didn't book appointment for herself.
