Fantastic experience: Now that’s what I call a great experience!! Having lost a front big tooth filling I called the Practice, it led me to an out of hours number for emergencies!!! Straight away Mr Bate put me at ease and said “ don’t worry I will sort it tomo “ . The next day a received a message to come in at 2.30 pm . On arrival I was greeted by a lovely Smiling experienced lady called Sam , she immediately calmed me down and sent me in the right direction to see Mr Bate the dentist!! He greeted with a warm smile and an instant calming and was informed exactly what would happen next ! After 20 mins the procedure was done Without any Pain Whatsoever. Fantastic!! May I thank everyone who “ Proper Looked after me from start to finish “ Magic !!!

Fantastic experience: I first approached Becca after reading about her experience with insomnia and how she had managed to change. After struggling with my sleep for over a decade, trying all kinds of methods, medication and supplements , I have gone from walking up several times a night and struggling to get back off to getting a solid chunk of uninterrupted sleep. I am still at the start of my journey but I have already made great changes to my sleep thanks to Becca. She has been a pleasure to work with and i will be forever grateful for the help and guidance she has given me. Definitely recommend
Fantastic experience: After years of wearing an ill fitted denture amongst other dental issues I finally plucked up the courage to book a consultation and it is honestly the best move I have ever made. From the first phone call to make my appointment I was made to feel at ease. Simon is very patient and reassuring and gentle, keeping me well informed at every stage of my treatment. Fantastic experience: Hard to write a review on a place we all dread to visit, however I can honestly say they’re the best! After receiving terrible service with the NHS we moved our family over to Clavell-Bate & Nephew. In the years I’ve been going I’ve had braces fitted, teeth whitened, my children have had teeth removed all of which have been done by excellent staff that you can not fault. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: This Dental Practice is the best in Lancashire, i used to be NHS however i swapped to Denplan at this practice and the difference is incredible. You get looked after from start to finish and all the staff are friendly and can’t do enough for you. I’d like to make a special mention to the woman on reception called kira she is so professional, friendly and polite and you can tell she cares so much about the patients needs. Overall fantastic practice, would recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I had my first visit yesterday and had a really positive experience. Firstly the clinic itself is beautiful and the staff are very welcoming. I was quite nervous as I do need some work doing on my teeth and had a couple of negative experiences with past dentists. I was really pleasantly surprised how Simon sat and listened to my concerns and the goals I would like to achieve. He did a 3d scan and I was amazed and how in depth and high tech this was, it showed a clear image of my teeth and Simon carefully went through this in detail. My images have been sent over to the treatment planning centre and I’m excited for my presentation appointment in a couple of weeks to discuss what my options are!

Fantastic experience: Having had traumatic fears of the dentist I was very nervous of having implants especially at the front because my crowns were no longer viable. Simon and the team were fantastic and listened to my fears and anxieties. Everything was explained and if I needed to ask any questions they were always there to answer them. Positive experience: My daughter made the appointment for me as I had been struggling with my dentures to eat properly and always had a sore dry mouth. Fantastic experience: After reaching the ripe old age of 51, I’ve finally found a dentist I can trust! I’ve had a fear of dentists all my life probably stemming from the dreaded gas mask when I was a child! The practice is state of the art, the staff as so reassuring and welcoming and I felt like I couldn’t be in better hands. My first visit was to see Elaine Bate as an emergency, who was so kind and explained everything including procedures and cost. Tonight I have visited Simon to have an awkward extraction, well it was to me, Simon is such an expert in this field, he totally reassured me and put me at ease. The extraction itself was so quick and seamless and I was invited to ask any questions I had! I didn’t as he had already answered them all beforehand! I will never go anywhere else now and for anyone who has any fear of dentists, you have to visit these guys! They are THE BEST!!!

Fantastic experience: I have had lot of bad experiences with dentists in the past and I have always been wary of them even to the point of being scared to go. Since moving to Clavell-Bate and Nephew I have had a very good service. They are always very professional, very knowledgeable and very experienced in what they do. You only get one set of teeth so you deserve the best care possible and I believe they can do that for you.

Fantastic experience: I feel sorry for all the dentist at Clavel and Bates and all other personnel who have to take care of my teeth. Unfortunately I must have the worst problematic teeth they have ever had to rectify and take care of. At every appointment and for what ever reason they have always been so courteous and treated me with respect and I have never felt like they don't care because of the poor condition my teeth. They have all worked so hard to restore my teeth to the best possible condition they could ever be and carried out all work so perfectional to give me more confidence when I smile. Fantastic experience: The waiting room is clean and airy, Staff are helpful and friendly. We did have a bit of a wait but nothing unacceptable. Magazine are all recent! Very professional and speedy when seen by dentist and hygienist. We have recently been asked to now claim our medical insurance on line and forgetting I asked for the usual printed receipt, On getting home I realised I should have asked for an email to be sent to us for ease of claiming. I rang and left a message at the surgery and received copies within half an hour. I was very impressed by the speed my query was dealt with. Many thanks to everyone and keep up the good work.

Fantastic experience: I was incredibly nervous about having a tooth removed as the last time I did (a decade ago at another practice) it was incredibly painful and traumatic. This time my dentist was patient, considerate and efficient. He made sure I was sufficiently numb before he went ahead and then was very considerate about the time needed to have my mouth in an awkward position for him to get the wisdom tooth out. He reassured me throughout, despite it being a very quick process and once it was finished, he was very careful to make sure that the bleeding had stopped, and the after-care was explained thoroughly. It was such a great experience, especially given my previous dental experience that I cannot recommend them highly enough! It’s not often that you thank a Dentist profusely for removing a tooth!

Fantastic experience: My 2 year old son had his first ever trip to the dentist He came away with two stickers and now asks when does he get to go back!!! As a dentist @clavellbatedental has changed my entire families experience of attending the dentist, including my Nana who used to HATE going to the dentist but now says ‘I’m off to the dentist to see that lovely Irish man!’ You can’t get an NHS dentist in the Ribble Valley so we joined @denplan & it is absolutely worth every penny and I feel as though my whole family are completely cared for…so thank you!

Fantastic experience: Welcomed at reception although I was a few minutes late. Calm and relaxing waiting area. Elaine explained procedure clearly, apologised for any discomfort and worked quickly and carefully. As a result, work was far less uncomfortable than I had expected, and I was pain free and able to eat as normal after the appointment.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited the Hygienist here. As always a fantastic and genuine welcome and escorted to a clean and modern waiting area (next to a fish tank, very relaxing). My appointment was on time and I was led upstairs to a spacious treatment area where again a warm welcome was received. Just the right amount of chat to feel welcome and at ease. I sat in a spotlessly clean chair in a spotless modern room. The TV on the ceiling is always a great touch. Overall, a great experience. This truly is a great dentist with great staff. Thanks.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient here for a number of years now and could not imagine going anywhere else. I choose to travel up to 1 hour for a reason. Not only is this practice immaculate and very well designed, but the professional and compassionate care is unlike anything I have ever received previously. I initially came to Simon with a tooth gap issue that had been bothering me for a very long time. I had been involved in an accident over 10 years ago at this point and had been told by a previous dentist that there was no hope for an implant and Simon made it happen, even after all that time. He restored my confidence and years later, my implant is still perfect and I have been returning ever since for my routine dental and hygenist appointments. The whole team are so welcoming, caring and always happy to accommodate you as quickly as possible when a need for an appointment arises. I have a lovely chat and laugh every time I visit to each of you and look forward to my appointments. They really are at the top of their field.
