I've attended multiple appointments with Dr Puru Kaushik, who's done a brilliant job with sorting out my teeth, given a proper consultation and advise on the treatment plan. I never thought that I would be happy to go the dentist, but this place has definitely changed my mind. Would 100% recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Alton Dental for about 10 years approximately and have always received great service- Hardeep and Alisha have been outstanding with the treatment. Hardeep always give you the choice of every option on the treatment available along with the cost. I’m guessing if you are nervous about dental treatment this must be the best place to go. To cap it they are very nice and approachable which always helps. My wife and grandson are also patients.

Fantastic experience: The work and information that grishma gupta and her team gave me has worked wonders. My teeth and gums are now in great condition. I have been very happy with all aspects of the treatments. Grishma is kind, courteous and informative. I never felt pushed into any treatments, and she explained all of the options available. I would highly recommend alton dental for any treatments.

Fantastic experience: With a massive fear of dentists, under the care of Dr Rooprai, I’ve been made to feel so at ease and everything gets explained so well and makes me feel so much more calm. Had a couple of fillings done now and both experiences were much better than previous!

Fantastic experience: I have a phobia of visiting dentist practices but oh my gosh!!!! My dentist blew my mind when I first visited and was aware of my fear. His personality is absolutely amazing. We have such a laugh from start to finish. He surely deserves an award (MBE in the making, lol). Sukh from day one has been fantastic. Don’t look forward to the procedures but he makes you feel so at ease and don’t even realise that it’s all over. Isobel his nurse, extremely reassuring from start to finish too. Sukh actually said I could hold her hand if I need more reassurance. As for Dhevena at Reception, well what can I say. Pleasant, welcoming and supportive. They make my visits to the practice easy. And Sukh’s music playlist is so very my type of vibes. I hum along to the music whilst he sorts my teeth out. He’s my family dentist for life. The service is top-notch and would recommend Alton Dental to anyone out there looking for dentists. Fabulous team

Fantastic experience: Dr Roopral and nurse Dr Evena We're amazing. I have struggled with dentist in pass as previously my austim and nerve problems were not listen too and ment processures were too much, painful and really made me feel awful. These dentists were so understanding and listened to what I found hard and about my nerves being very sensitive. Gave me lots of breaks, explain each set as they will did it. Also they listened to me when thing hurt or were too much sensory and gave me time to recover and were more gentle in sore areas. Thank you for making the dentist less scary and far more bearable.

Fantastic experience: I have been under the care of Dr.Rooprai for a little while, in which time I have had several procedures. I am extremely frightened of injections and Dr.Rooprai is always so very kind to me and patient with my requests, he explains each step of what he is doing, allows me time to pause and process and is very reassuring. I have also never been cared for by a dentist who takes such pride in their work, Dr.Rooprai always checks that previous fillings etc that he has carried out are still comfortable and without issues. He has also seen my toddler on a couple of occasions and his kindness and patience has helped to ease her nervousness. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Dr Rouprai and Erica have just fitted a crown for me, and they have done such an amazing job, from start to finish. I have always disliked going to the dentist but everyone at Alton Dental make it an (almost) pleasant experience! They are all so kind, informative and professional.

Fantastic experience: I've been getting treatment over the last few months , I've a root canal and multiple fillings, and they didn't really hurt that much, staff are also very friendly, welcoming and accommodating and very thorough with the treatment plan, if there was a 6 star option, id choose it.

Fantastic experience: I had a tooth extracted by Dr Rooprai recently. I have previously had teeth extracted elsewhere and this has not always gone smoothly. However, I can say without any doubt that this extraction by Dr Rooprai was done in a most professional and very careful way. As a result recovery was both speedy and pain free. Altogether a first class piece of skilled dentistry by Dr Rooprai and his team, so thank you.

Negative experience: Good dentist never had any complaints. The issue I now have is charging people up front for appointments 6 months in advance is not a good way to create client relationships. I suggest a better way to deal with people not turning up is to fine those who don’t turn up and not punish the ones who do!.

Fantastic experience: I have only good things to say about this Dental Practice, from the Reception Staff to my Dentist Sukh and his Nurse Natasha. The Customer Service and treatment are both excellent. Visiting a Dentist can be a daunting experience but honestly I couldn't recommend them more highly, go ahead and make that appointment now, you will not regret it

Fantastic experience: I've been with Alton Dental for 6 years now, and they are by far the best dental practice I've attended. Dr Nik, Bethan and the receptionist team (Dhev and Grace) always greet you with a friendly, welcoming smile. You are never made to feel rushed, and Nik is always willing to explain/answer any questions. I've had all my old fillings restored over the past few years, and finished off with Invisalign; best decision ever! My teeth are in the best condition they've ever been in! Fantastic experience: Since childhood I have had a terrible fear of dentists and hadnt visited one for many years and only then in an emergency. I recently joined this surgery on the reccomendation of a friend and I cant begin to explain how different I now feel. The staff from the receptionists through to and especially my dentist mehab and his nurse have made me feel so at ease.I think my fear of dentists has finally gone and I feel confident about any future visits now. Negative experience: Had an appointment in 19/08/2024 for Dentist consultation. The actual Dentist Dr was very polite but the admin staff are not informative. I've paid for the complete service. They've taken x-rays and did not give me the copies. On recommendation of the Dentist Dr I've booked and paid a deposit to see the hygienist, They also have not given me any receipt of payment. I found the experience to be totally unprofessional or maybe they behaved like this because I'm an asian, I don't know...

Your team from the receptionists, to the dentists and nurse’s etc, are always exemplary and really look after all my dentistry needs. They are professional and empathetic with great customer service. But most of all their patient interaction. skills are first class. They are always happy to see me, always use my first name, putting me at ease from the moment I walk through the door with a warm greeting from the receptionist, Beth. Fantastic experience: I have been going to this dentist for a while now. I’m such a nervous and anxious patient I hate the dentist with a passion because of past trauma from Previous dentists in the past and I will not have anyone else. Doctor Day is an excellent understanding and thoughtful Dentist one of the best I’ve ever been too. Truly she is amazing at putting me at ease and not judgemental at all. I truly appreciate how she explains everything to me step by step and stops if I need her too and praises me throughout the whole process. I had a tooth extraction done last week and it was all explained to me step by step her assistant is lovely also and I had her assistant with my previous dentist so it’s so reassuring as she knows what I was like before I used to shake with fear and sweat so much before through fear. I have had the best experience with Alton Dental. You Dr Day and your assistant are a credit to the practice. I will be forever thankful I have finally found a dentist and assistant I 1000% have trust in. I know I have still a long way to go to get my teeth at a decent standard again but I wouldn’t be able to get them sorted if it wasn’t for you both being so kind and caring and understanding. Fantastic experience: Attended dentist with a split front tooth. Dr Day was exceptional in setting out what I needed, she was very clear on work required and carried out the dentistry work without discomfort. Both Dr Day and her nurse ensured I was okay throughout the work and was not uncomfortable. Great Service provided by a brilliant dentist. Cannot recommend the whole service provided by Alton Dental enough.

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment with Nora today and, as a nervous patient, she immediately put me at ease and comforted me the entire time and explained what needed to be done. She was lovely and I will definitely be attending the dentists more regularly.

The time and money I invested in the process were entirely worth it and the final result exceeded my expectations. The dentist, Nik, and the nurse, Bethan, were both incredibly supportive, making sure that I felt comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process. They were patient with me and made sure that I was completely satisfied with their work. They were both very caring, dedicated and professional in everything they did. I couldn't have asked for better care at every stage of the procedure.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Nikal for some time and have complete trust in his work. Recently I had fairly extensive work done to replace old veneers and crowns and to enhance the aesthetics of my smile . Nik spent considerable time with me on more than one occasion to explain the process and to discuss what was important to me. This included mock ups to ensure I would be happy with the end result. Nik kept in touch throughout the whole process which was very reassuring. During the appointments I was taken care of by Nik and Bethan who were both there to support and advise me every step of the way. I am over the moon with the end result, my teeth look very natural and I am more confident. The after care I have received has been second to none. I have had follow up appointments to check on my oral health and to ensure my new smile is settling as it should. I cannot recommend team Nik and Bethan enough!

Fantastic experience: This practice provides a first class service and I am very pleased to have been able to register as a new patient here! My first appointment which occurred today, was for an initial assessment as a new patient with my newly assigned dentist Dylan. I have not looked after my teeth as well as I might have over the years, and I also smoke, so there was a lot of wear and tear to assess! I felt that Dylan made a thorough and very detailed examination of my jaw, teeth and gums. He performed the entire process with great care and I felt very comfortable throughout. Two x-rays came next, which were executed very well. Dylan was then able to explain to me the condition of my teeth and gums in a detailed and understandable way, giving me his recommendations clearly, and answering all of my questions very well. The way Dylan performed the examination, and the quality of his subsequent explanations left me feeling extremely confident in his assessment. I am very pleased I was assigned to be a patient of Dylan's when joining the practice. The entire appointment felt calm and relaxed, and there was no sensation of time pressure or rushing at any point. Dylan's manner and demeanor throughout my appointment was excellent, as was the service provided by his nurse Beth. The way I was treated on both a personal and medical level by them both was very friendly, competent and professional at all times. I would also like to mention how well the registration process was handled by the reception team. The effort which they made to call me once my registration was complete in order to arrange my first appointment as soon as possible was very much appreciated. I am grateful for their warm and efficient service.

Fantastic experience: Excellent Dentists, Nurses, Hygienists. 12/09/23 Went to see Eva the Hygienist , had a thorough clean and was very pleased when i was told check up was good after putting into practice diligently my cleaning routine. Eva explained clearly results of my previous visit and the huge improvement when she checked my teeth on 12th Sept. Felt really good and great after my visit. 13/10/23 took my son Alasdair 18 to see Dr Dylan. I normally have to nag him to see Dentist. Dr Dylan gave Alasdair a thorough examination, and explained clearly the extra steps my son could take to maintain his healthy teeth. Alasdair has no fillings at 18 and has managed to keep them good. Dr Dylan and Nurse Sony were very friendly . I was delighted with positive and encouraging feedback to keep up the good . Well Done to Dr Safri and his team who take excellent care of their patients. Gone are the days where I used to dread visiting the Dentist at my son's age.

Fantastic experience: I have had the most amazing life-changing procedure with Nik. It's takes me over a hour to get there but I honestly wouldn't go anywhere else now. Fantastic experience: I finally got the courage to have an implant! The whole procedure has been very professional. The staff are lovely, very welcoming and accommodating. Mo did my surgery, he has a very calming manner and put me at ease. Nik has done the cosmetic work, matching my implant with the rest of my teeth. It's perfect! Fantastic experience: I have been seen by Dr Kaushik for the last 9 months to get my teeth looked after - having not been to the dentist for years previously as a nervous patient. Coming here has made me lose my fear over seeing a dentist as Dr Kaushik has been brilliant throughout. Fantastic experience: Fabulous team Sukh and Natasha are my usual team they are caring and professional. I used to be terrified of going to the dentist but this practice were patient and extremely supportive 5star all the way.

Positive experience: Great dentists themselves but I've had to deal with a few rude and unpleasant receptionist recently. Seems like none of them can own up to anything and blamed faults of their own on me. Would be great if they could become reasonable and at least smile.

Fantastic experience: I have never looked forward to visiting a dentist, indeed it is on my list of things to avoid but having a cracked tooth the decision was taken out of my hands. My trepidation at the visit was huge, but the experience was EXCEPTIONAL. Having realised my anxiety, the dentist, Sukh Bhalla, acted with considerable care and proceeded to put me at ease. It must have been difficult but credit due to him, he persevered and explained everything that I wished to know and by the end of the appointment I felt that I had known him all my life. Going to return, that's new for me, and knowing that I am in good hands makes things a whole lot easier. Sukh is a young dentist but has the caring nature of an experienced professional. Well done to the Anstey Road dentist surgery, you have changed my perception of dentists.The whole visit was relaxed with a knowledgeable receptionist and caring dental assistant. I have no hesitation of recommending this dental surgery, they go above and beyond expectations. Professional, yes but caring, and that's what counts after all.

Fantastic experience: My two boys aged 8 and 10 and I saw Grishma Gupta for a general check up. Grishma is thorough, warm and professional wrapped up in a lovely dentist! She gave us lots of advice too which was appropriate for our different needs. We were also fortunate to have Isabel as Grishma's friendly assistant who engaged my boys in having their teeth checked and was also super lovely.

Fantastic experience: I had an hour long hygienist visit yesterday with Orla which I was dreading! It turned out to be the best hygienist appointment I've ever had! She was very gentle and the injections she gave me I hardly felt! Highly recommend this practice!

Fantastic experience: I rarely write reviews but feel my recent experience with the Clinic warrants one! Following a dental emergency I was offered a prompt appointment and have required on-going treatment. Throughout this process I have been most impressed with the care, professionalism and kindness of my dentist Jas and her colleagues, Neave, Liz and Amy. In light of this I highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: After an emergency appointment during the covid pandemic, I was advised that a crown was needed on my tooth. I saw Nik who honestly is one of the nicest dentists I have ever met. I was very nervous re the procedure but he kept me calm throughout by talking to me about what he was doing and reassuring me at all times. I had a temporary crown fitted and later a permanent crown and from beginning to end the service was professional and caring. I thoroughly recommend this practice to anyone (particularly nervous patients).

Negative experience: I can understand not getting an emergency appointment for two weeks. I can't understand being suggested I used pharmacy do it yourself kit in the meantime. I can't understand getting no reminder or engagement in those two weeks. I cant understand being turned away from the practice minutes before the appointment because everyone was having lunch still. If the dental services are as bad as the customer service, I wouldn't touch with a barge pole.

Fantastic experience: My daughter, was seen by Nik and his dental assistant Teena, they were both amazing and did a great job with my daughter, who has experienced anxiety with previous dentists, they made her feel really comfortable and relaxed and let them treat her teeth with no dramas. Fantastic experience: I have been using this practice for nearly 5 years and have needed quite a lot of treatment in that time. I have always been delighted with the standard of care I have received. Late last night I realised that one of my front teeth was broken. I phoned them at 9 in the morning, was seen for an assessment at 11 and treated just after 2. My smile is restored in both senses of the phrase! Thank you very much Alton Dental!

Fantastic experience: All round first class service. Dr Nikul Patel always puts me at ease (which is important for a nervous dental patient), and fully explains what he finds / what the next steps are in a very calm, reassuring manner. The nursing team are always focussed and work very closely with the dentists. The reception staff are amazing and are always extremely welcoming. I trust the team 100%.

Fantastic experience: NIk Patel and his nurse have looked after me extremely throughout the time I have been attending Anstey Dental Centre. Most recently, he undertook a root canal on one of my rear teeth; whereas I can't say that it was a pleasurable experience he took a great deal of time and effort to save the tooth (10 hours). He talked me through the procedure and was cheerful and considerate throughout, making an unpleasant necessity just that little bit better.

Fantastic experience: I had 2 wisdom teeth out. Nikul and his nurse Sony were fantastic. They made me feel at ease and relaxed. Nikul made the whole procedure quick, painless and as pleasant as having teeth out, can be. I have never felt so reassured by a dentist in all my visits to surgeries over the years.

Fantastic experience: Spoke to the reception team initially to book an emergency appointment to arrange to have a wisdom tooth pulled. Considering I hadn't previously been registered with them they were able to fit me in the very next day. I then saw "The Dream Team", Sukh & Tina. Super professional and a short while later I was less one problematic tooth. Couple weeks go past and I call Sukh to discuss another extremely problematic wisdom and the need for another emergency visit. He wasn't able to see me personally but did get me booked in for the very next day with his colleague Nick (Can't remember is assistant's name). Saw Nick on the 15/06 for the fairly smooth removal of another problematic tooth. I have never felt more reassured from my experiences with both Sukh and Nick. I can only speak highly enough of this dental practice. It's not often that you get the impression that people actually care like Sukh & Nick gave me.
