Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at this clinic for many years. Jennifer and Steph are friendly and make you feel very relaxed. Examinations are always thorough and comfortable and Jennifer is always happy to discuss any issues be they clinical or cosmetic.

Negative experience: Avoid! PEDRO, the dentist will damage your teeth with his poor practice and then deny this. He is not willing to hold himself accountable. Their aligners will not straighten your teeth. They will over charge you and then polish and weaken your teeth because their aligners have failed. After MONTHS of fighting, I have now been refunded the full amount on 01/12/2025 owed to me with the support of the dental complaints service. Pedros practice is poor and his attitude is childish. Not even received an apology from him to date. In fact he was at the panel meeting for the complaints service, very defensive and no remorse at all. He even tried to have this review removed! Nice try Pedro, you lose and you shouldn’t be practicing! Now let me go and spend this £3150 on a dentist that actually knows what they’re doing! Response to these unprofessional jokers: So you jokers are just giving out refunds for no reason? If that was the case, why not give it without the need for it to through DCS panel? And issued a year AFTER my complaint was raised? For clarity members of the public, please see full letter. Pedro the poor practitioner assigned the wrong treatment. The relapse is irrelevant, as I started treatment again in May and my complaint was raised in AUGUST WHEN THEY DECIDED THE TREATMENT WAS COMPLETE. Send another unprofessional response like this again and I’m taking you court for physical and emotional damages. Try me. I’ll use your refund and my means to hold you to further account.

Fantastic experience: I was really nervous to see Gulab today, I really don’t know why!? He was great, thorough, professional and very friendly. He offered me some anaesthetic gel prior to treatment but I didn’t need it. My teeth feel and look amazing. Thank you and see you in 6 months.

Negative experience: The dentist in itself is amazing , it's just a shame about one of the rude receptionist. Upon reading further reviews it seems other patients have also dealt with same issues . It's a shame as the dentists are lovely . The reception team need to work on not speaking about patients

Fantastic experience: I have been with Wensleydale Dental for just over 50 years and most recently (last 10 ish years) with Gulab as my hygienist. Gulab is an excellent hygienist! Supported by Bex. Gulab recently put a replacement crown on a front tooth and did an excellent job. Also, you are able to speak to reception when you call the practice, which is very beneficial.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Wensleydale for 25 years. Recently, I had an issue with the service being offered so wrote a complaint letter. Laura dealt with it perfectly. She showed me care, understanding, and treated me professionally. She resolved my issue and booked me in to see Hamza. This was the first time I'd seen this particular dentist. I am a disabled patient and can struggle sometimes to get to the dentists office. He clearly explained the options of treatment for my teeth (within my budget) and I came away knowing exactly what to do next. He showed me care, describing my options at a level I could understand and treated me respectfully. I look forward to seeing him again. Credit should also go to Yulia, his dental assistant who was also caring towards me. Thankyou all so much for your support and understanding. A positive outcome for me.

Fantastic experience: I chose to have my teeth straightened at Wensleydale using Spark. Ines and Nan were my dentists and they were absolutely fantastic. They were incredibly personal and friendly which made the whole experience great! Ines was really knowledgeable and realistic about what my teeth would look like after treatment while also giving my advice about other dental queries. Nan was so lovely and great to chat to and always bought a smile to my face. Both were gentle with treatments if I had any sensitivity or pain. Overall, I am so glad that I had them through this whole process! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient with Wensleydale for over 47 years. At 67 I still have my own teeth, a few caps, crowns and fillings. I have witnessed the practice develop. What impresses me most is the adoption of the latest technology. The care has always been second to none. I feel I have a strong relationship with Patrick and Gulab and their assistants. I trust their judgment and try to follow their advice.

Fantastic experience: Have always had great care at this practice over a period of 20 plus years. Mrs Cornwell is excellent and is supported by a fantastic team. This week I was fitted in on the day as an emergency after losing a crown which I really appreciated.

Fantastic experience: We have just been for our 6 month check up once again & I only have praise for the team at Wensleydale. I always see Esther and Nan who are absolutely amazing. Their care and compassion is superb as is their medical knowledge both on dentistry and other areas and how this could impact on teeth and gums and what to do to rectify this. I would absolutely not go anywhere else.

Positive experience: Work done by Gulab and Jana and although I understand people can have reservations about the cost, to be able to smile again in a photo with confidence has definitely been worth it. Very informative and talk you through each stage of the process. You only get one set of (adult) teeth so best to invest in them and look after them. Would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Let’s be honest, going to the dentist usually ranks somewhere between “stepping on LEGO” and “accidentally liking your ex's photo from 2014.” But my latest visit? Shockingly delightful. Honestly 10/10, no sedation needed. From the moment I walked in, the reception staff greeted me like I was returning from war rather than just coming in for a check-up. Warm smiles, friendly chat, and not a clipboard in sight, no blood pressure spike required. The waiting room has had a glow-up since my last visit. Very sleek, total Zen and comfy. Although I did notice the table football has mysteriously disappeared…I’m not saying foul play, but I am saying investigate. Maybe the hygiene police have cracked down on competitive sweating. Enter nurse Karen, an absolute angel! She was calm, kind, and clearly an expert in soothing nervous patients and steering them away from escape routes like a dental Jedi. Pedro, the dentist himself was a legend, we bonded over football. Or tried to. I pretended to know something about Portuguese football. He pretended it was worth knowing. We both smiled and moved on. I asked him, “Which teeth should I focus on brushing?” He replied, without missing a beat, “The ones you want to keep.” Touché, Doctor. He also suggested I floss more, so naturally I’ve enrolled in dance lessons. Jazz hands at the ready! Then came the ominous phrase: “You might need a root canal if things don’t improve.” That sentence alone made me consider becoming a full-time mouthwash enthusiast as my molars clenched in terror. But he quickly lightened the mood, telling me dentists practice by doing a lot of drills. And that he once won an award. A little plaque. Give this man a Netflix special! All jokes aside, my experience was genuinely superb. Yes, my payment plan has gone up again...cheers, inflation! But I sincerely hope that means the amazing staff are getting a well-deserved pay bump. Because if anyone deserves a raise, it’s the folks keeping our teeth in our heads while cracking jokes and calming nerves.

Fantastic experience: Always hated the dentist. Fortunately, I was referred to Jennifer and her assistant Steph and I now feel less stressed about a visit. They are a great team and .are you are made to feel at ease. Everything is explained to you which further reduces any anxiety. A great team.

Fantastic experience: Pedro did my root canal and for weeks I was dreading it. He was brilliant. Made sure it was completely numb and talked me through it all. If you are anxious Pedro is your man! He also has a kind way and a good sense of humour. I highly recommend him. I even emailed to say thank you. The reception lady could be nicer to people though! When you are anxious you really need a bit of warmth and friendliness on arrival. She is quite rude.

Fantastic experience: I had a family emergency and missed my dental appointment, i was charged, but after speaking with accounts manager David Evans, he was so understanding and caring and removed the charge. Top man. The world needs more people like him.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first visit to this dental surgery as my next door neighbour recommended them. I saw Dr Ines Riberio Who has put a new fixed retainer on my top teeth. I have seen many orthodontists in my life and I have to say Ines beats them all in her work, caring attitude and professional work. She didn’t let me leave until I was absolutely comfortable with my bite and the work she had done. Her assistant ‘Nan’ was super welcoming and put me at ease throughout the one hour procedure at a very reasonable cost as I’m a musician and was worried about the expense. Can’t thank them enough and will definitely be returning for any work I need in the future. Mim Grey

Fantastic experience: This is the first dental practice I have had a good experience with and I highly recommend this place! I have always been nervous and put off going to a dentist after a bad experience many years ago. I am thrilled to say I was very happy with my results and was at ease after my first visit. I was seen by Hamza and Maria, and I am so grateful for them as they really made me feel comfortable and at ease the whole appointment. I also took my 6month old daughter for her first time and they were amazing with us. I even booked my next check up the same day! Highly recommend and very friendly staff!

Fantastic experience: I recently had a crown fitted at Wensleydale by Esther, and have to say that she and Nan make a great team! They explained the procedure at each stage in great detail, making me feel completely at ease throughout. The only painful part was the bill at the end, but having been informed of the cost beforehand, I guess I can't really complain!

Fantastic experience: As a rule I dislike going to Dentist get nervous and have avoided going for years. Had to bite the bullet and go and these guys have been amazing especially Jennifer and Steph who go out there way to explain everything and make you feel comfortable.

Negative experience: Terrible practice, avoid!

Positive experience: The dentists are great, they are great at making you feel at ease. The reception staff on the other hand? Cold and unfriendly. I have no idea why they act like they have the worst job in the world but management needs to have a word with them, they not only make you feel like you're unwelcome, but they also act like you're a bother whenever you ask a question. They are a stain on the otherwise wonderful service.

Fantastic experience: I've been with this dental practice for over 37 year's and never had a problem with their fantastic service and staff, towards me and my daughter who's been coming here close to 20 year's. Was seen a few days ago by our regular and long standing dentist Marina and her lovely friendly assistant Yulia, who gave us both an excellent service. Regarding the wonderful Marina, if Carlsberg could do dentists, Marina would probably be the best dentist in the world.

When I've needed an early appointment he's made this possible and his efforts are very much appreciated. Gulab also makes an effort to find out if there's anything I want to tell him about my dental health - or health in general where this matters. Fantastic experience: Been coming here for 57 years. I've never had any problems with the place. It's a great dentists surgery and if you can get on their books, I'd recommend the place.

Negative experience: Extremely rude reception staff. They do not wait for you to leave the building before slagging you off. They cancel appointments then accuse you of not attending! You can't be sick or they threaten to de register you! Extremely stressful experience before you have even seen the dentist. Reply Me and my children are regular patients at your practice. I did ask for a manager to call me on numerous occasions regarding our treatment but still awaiting a call. Treatment of nhs patients is dreadful. Couldn't wait to get us off their books. I'm very pleased now though we have found a new wonderful dentist "SPIRE" in st neots that have great receptionists and dentists

Fantastic experience: Gulab has been looking after my teeth for the last 5years. He is a great Hygienist who I try to see 3-4 times a year. Really cares about you and the welfare of your teeth and gums. Always come away feeling well looked after.

Fantastic experience: I contacted Wensleydale for a second opinion as I was unhappy with the options (and previous service) provided by my then dentist and was given an appointment with Patrick. This is without doubt the best decision I ever made. Patrick talked me through multiple options, taking the time to explain each one in detail and the cost involved. In February we started the work and last week I got my new bridge which I am so happy with - I can finally eat normally again. Thank you Patrick and Wensleydale, I can't thank you enough. Definitely 5* all round.

Negative experience: Lots of glorious reviews after the decision to go private. Only a few months ago the rating of this practice was barely a ‘3’. Poor practice, never had a problem with reception, but used 3 dentists over 11 years in this practice and all quite poor professionals. Appointments are booked for 15 minutes, if you do the same thing privately then 30 minutes with the same poor results. I had actually 2 of my front teeth damaged when the wrong tool was used for polishing my teeth. They started to look like they went through a grinder. Eventually found a private clinic where I started redoing all the poor work done at this practice. An appointment for one tooth in a new clinic lasts an hour with work done by fantastic professionals, excellent equipment, brilliant finishing and polishing of every tooth. I can’t see how this practice will thrive with the same poor professionals and the cutting corners attitude. This Practice needs serious changes. Edit: in response to your unnecessary sarcastic reply below……I couldn’t get an appointment with you so I used the clinic across the road privately. And no, I will not be contacting your manager about this, because looking at your replies to people’s reviews the attitude that you adopted is to dodge the bullet and fight back rather than to learn.

Fantastic experience: I'm never going to be happy about seeing a dentist and being told I needed 2 fillings by Mrs Z was pretty terrifying. But Gulab and Jana were able to fit me in immediately so I didn't have to spend any time worrying about it, and although I was a nervous wreck he was very kind and patient with me, so many thanks for making my experience painless.

Fantastic experience: I can personally highly recommend Wensleydale Dental Practice. I have always been nervous of dental treatment but they have turned that around! I see Jennifer and Steph and they are such a great team - they always put me at ease, very patient and calming and nothing is too much trouble for them. They explain things thoroughly and answer any questions patiently. I recently had root canal treatment and I had no need to be nervous at all - they were so kind, caring and professional. I never would have thought I could have coped with the idea of root canal but with these lovely ladies it was a breeze! They have turned me into being really proactive and positive to my dental needs (rather than waiting until something needs doing) because I know there’s nothing to worry about and no need to be nervous. My whole family are signed up with them now! I highly recommend both the dental practice and Jennifer and Steph - I would never go anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: First part of having a crown fitted completed and my temporary crown is in place. I am quite anxious when visiting the dentist but Amundeep and Mariana were so kind and professional that I relaxed very quickly and will not worry about going to see them again. Thank you ladies.

Fantastic experience: Amun is a very accomplished and knowledgable young dentist. She uses the most up-to-date technology but also explains everything in an 'easy to understand' way. I feel very safe in her hands. She is most ably assisted by her very experienced Dental Assistant Nan. We all had very happy, often colourful interactions. I am delighted to have found this first class dental surgery.
