Negative experience: I had an extremely disappointing experience with the customer service at this reception. The staff were rude and impatient, making the entire interaction frustrating. I received a call from them regarding my dentist referral and was asked to confirm my name. However, before I could even finish my response, they abruptly hung up. At first, I assumed it was a mistake, despite clearly hearing them put down the phone. I decided to call back, only for the same thing to happen again—twice. Each time, they would ask for my name or date of birth, and before I could complete my reply, they would cut me off and hang up.

Negative experience: I called to ask when they had time to check and remove my braces. They said they would call me back to make an appointment, I waited for them to call back but they never called & reply my email. I told them to check my email , but they did not reply and respond to my calls or messages. And by the time I called back and before I could finish talking, they blatantly hung up, the receptionist + doctor were not enthusiastic, not friendly. Bad service

Fantastic experience: After two weeks of stress trying to get a replacement set of retainers I was helped by Leah today and she was AMAZING. She answered all my questions well gave me such good advice and provided me with compensation after the stress I had been through to get them. Her customer service was excellent I’ll always be asking for her when I call the practice now ! Thank you Leah I appreciate you so much.

Fantastic experience: Kim worked ever so well with my son whis on the spectrum, put him at ease and talked through everything she was doing, even giving him a ball of tissue to squeeze as to keep his hand from reaching, put myself at ease also as she addressed him, which enabled him to make the decision to wait for the bottom set to be added at a later date. Fantastic experience: wow just wow! i went to see Maria 18 months ago with wonky teeth. I stopped drinking And vaping and saved a hell of a lot of money. I could now afford to treat Myself. Maria is the fairy godmother of giving you the perfect smile. She made me feel confident and comfortable the whole way through. She even managed close tooth gap that I thought I was going to have to have an implant in. When I had them taken off, I almost cried because I could not believe how straight and perfect they looked, she filed the teeth so they was all even. I felt like I’ve gone to Turkey, but only had to go to south Croydon. If you’re thinking about getting braces don’t hesitate. she has given me the smile, I’ve always dreamed of.

Fantastic experience: Today my orthodontics journey came to an end after 5 years! I started off with an 11mm overbite, a gap between my front two upper teeth, and overcrowding on the front bottom teeth. It's been a pleasure to come in and see Maria and her colleagues for all this time, and they've seen different versions of me over the years! As someone who was never confident and absolutely hated their smile, I actually laughed in disbelief when the braces came off and I stood in front of the mirror for the first time. It also felt very comforting how business was dealt with after the pandemic. Thank you Maria for being strict! Sometimes you need to be reminded of the outcome you're hoping for and how to get there is to follow the rules! Fantastic experience: Getting braces was a very smooth journey at this place, I had the braces for 1 year and 4 months and not once did I feel pain or did they break. Only mild discomfort with the first few days but that’s to be expected.

Positive experience: No contact for a week after appointment for payment, resulted in weeks delay in ordering retainer. Quoted one price then invoice arrived with a completely different charge to be paid.in the end I was CHARGED DOUBLE and if I didn’t check paid invoice, I wouldn’t realise until much later! Patronising service, reception couldn’t care less. No ones interested there, attitude comes across ‘bad luck’ if you have a problem or query. Avoid this place EDIT: practice manager had this issue resolved and was very helpful.

Positive experience: My daughter was referred to Croydon orthodontics by her dentist, 2 years back as her tooth were bad and she has to remove 4 tooth to get spaces. Seen by Dr. Georgina very professional and he does approached well and did the job very good outcomes. It has been a fantastic results, very happy with the services.

Negative experience: I fed back on misinformation provided during my appointment booking in relation to the cost of my daughters treatment which resulted in me paying a lot more than I had been told. The receptionist, Leah, took my simple feedback personally and became aggressive, raising her voice and unnecessarily attacking my character by referring to my attitude, despite me never raising my voice or saying anything bad about her as a person. Even after paying the treatment cost and being replaced by a colleague, she continued in her attempt to antagonise me, making my daughter uncomfortable. Leah needs to have her customer service skills refreshed and learn to adopt an emphatic nature in delivering her duties and handling simple criticism. I generally have a good experience, but today the service received was extremely poor to say the least

Fantastic experience: Great service from dentists and other staff for my braces. The dentists were really flexible in sorting out any issues including when I accidentally snapped my brace wire. My teeth are no longer overlapping and I can actually clean them properly!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic practice. My 79 year old mum had to take my son for his fitting appointment as I was ill and they were great with them both. Very welcoming, very caring with everything explained to the finest detail. Dr Peridi and nurse Cheryl definitely have a fan in my mum.

Positive experience: After I posted the review below i was contacted by the practice and offered a cancellation date in the next week for my special needs son. We are a little further along the road now after being seen so thank you Croydon Orthodontic for stepping up when needed. ------‐-------------------------------------- 4 month wait for a child to be seen after already waiting 18 months. Several cancellations with no flexibility and rude on the phone. However....if private appointments are available :( My son, who is special needs, first attended when he was 13 years old, he is now 15. Although I had been advised by my dentist that my son needed orthodontic treatment and was now at a correct age we were told by the orthodontist to wait 18 months. We waited and an appointment reminder came through on the 1st Feb 2023, a date was booked for the first available appointment which was 5th April. This was cancelled on the 4th April and moved to the 10th May, I voiced my concerns regarding the timescale, the receptionist would not let me move to another orthodontist and had no dates sooner. This appt was then cancelled so now the 19th May! Can't do that day due to another appointment so I ring and am offered 15th June!!!! Receptionist is dismissive and obviously deals with these complaints alot e.g. saying not her fault, these things happen etc etc., he can wait etc. I said I would ring back and they messaged after i hung up saying they have cancelled 19th May! So nearest appt I can have after being reminded to bring my son in on the 1st Feb is now 15th June!!!! However when I enquired about invisalign for myself separately and privately (more expensive than anywhere else) appointment was available within a week and the sales team were on the phone several times.

Fantastic experience: For the year and a half I was with the practice, all the staff were beyond helpful and kind, always very efficient. A special Thankyou to lucy and Georgina for all their hard work, and for giving me a smile I’m a lot more confident with. :)

Negative experience: I got my braces on with no problems, but one of the staff told me I could get my braces off earlier, I told them no to taking them off early but they totally ignored me, I was supposed to wear them for a year and a half but they took them off only at 8 months. I was given retainers late so my teeth started to move back after a couple days, once I got my retainers they didn’t fit properly so I was given another pair a bit after but they were completely loose they slipped off my teeth and wouldn’t stay on, so we went back for another appointment to sort it out, the same staff member told me off for “disrespecting my mum” when I had done nothing but get ready, I have autism and couldn’t handle it well so I went, so the 2 pairs of retainers ended up not getting sorted that day. a year later and my teeth have completely gone back to the way they were, all because a staff member told me off over nothing. I was also told at the beginning I would need some teeth removed for the braces, they never bothered with that either.
