Fantastic experience: Best dental practice in Argyll and Bute. Had Invisalign treatment done by Dr Radhie, couldlnt recommend more. Throughout my treatment I was getting hygiene appointments, getting weekly reviews to ensure my teeth were moving to correct position, also I love the fact the dentist actually becomes like your friend by the end of it. So I couldn’t fault this practice, best dental treatment I have ever experienced thank you for restoring my faith in dentistry and thank you to all the team the nurse that are fabulous at their job and the front line reception staff everyone very welcoming and calm!

Fantastic experience: The building itself is impressive, with its own parking, yet it has a comfortable feel to it. All members of staff that I interacted with were extremely friendly and helpful. A visit to the dentist can be an intimidating experience but with such friendly staff in a pleasant environment I felt completely relaxed during my visit. Dr Abdul and his dental assistant Declan were particularly friendly. They took the time to listen to what I felt about my different treatment options and never made me feel hurried or as if I was being forced to choose a particular option. They were giving the advice that was best for me and looked after me. Thank you

Fantastic experience: ​My experience with Oban Dental and Implant Centre was definitely 5 stars. I had 4 crowns and 3 veneers implanted. Everything from my initial enquiry, to my consultation and the procedure itself was very easygoing. They truly made me feel comfortable and calm, which was important since I was a little nervous about the procedure. I was constantly reassured that I was happy and pain-free between stages. The results are incredible, and I'm absolutely delighted with my new smile. Thank you to Dr Radhie and his team at Oban Dental Care.

Fantastic experience: Where do I start on my implant journey. Initial consultation professional, and I was given options without the hard sell. I had been to a major Glasgow clinic beforehand for a consultation and was not impressed and I had thought implants weren’t for me. Thankfully I found Oban clinic with the most advanced technology I’ve seen in any dentist. Professional, courteous, pleasant with a pride in their work. No hard sell, Every procedure explained and the follow up calls just to check on how you are. It’s not the most pleasant thing in the world getting dental implants but the level of care and attention given is second to none. I can now smile for the first time in 40 yrs Yes fell off my skateboard as a teenager I have had numerous NHS crowns in all that time I seriously couldn’t be happier with the end result. Fantastic experience: I have been having treatment for the last 6 months with Abdul and he is an amazing dentist. He had made me feel so comfortable and taken all my dental fear away. I had a tooth extraction and it was over in seconds with no pain whatsoever. 5 star service all round.

The dentist was so understanding with my children, gave us great information and was really clear about everything. Extremely glad to have found such a great place for us in the future.

Stewart Wright is not a dentist - he is working his vocation to help people improve their health - it just happens to start with looking at the teeth. I was treated with respect and genuine care along with being given a lot of helpful info.

Fantastic experience: I had an Emergency appointment after chipping a tooth while on holiday! The dentist was very kind and patient with me! Although he didn’t have time to do my treatment as I’m just visiting the area for a few days he still took the time to explain what would need to be done and showed me a crown and explained how it would be fitted! He also took an x ray for me to put my mind at rest that the tooth was otherwise healthy and free from decay so could be safely left until I can visit my local dentist which really helped with my anxiety.

Fantastic experience: I needed a very basic service (temporary filling). My dentist was EXTREMELY fast, but also gentle, careful, reassuring and precise. Including training a young dental assistant, he managed to run a comprehensive check and get a perfect job done in less than 10minutes from leaving the desk to bring back at the desk. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Awake Friend highly recommended these Excellent Holistic, Biological dentists up here in beautiful Oban (who also accept NHS patients- white filings etc are extra) bit of a trek (we made a holiday out of it) but they were able to fit myself & my daughter in at quite short notice. 5 min walk from Train/Ferry port in Oban Town Centre & free customer car park if driving.

Fantastic experience: Much more than a mere dentist! Dr. Abdul, having acquired this practice comparatively recently, is turning it into a true dental and implant state of the art facility. We have lived in a few countries and had many many dentists and after having had over 70 years of experiences I can honestly say that this practice is by far and away the best I have ever received treatment from Dr Abdul and his team have knowledge far beyond dentistry and take a holistic approach where knowledgeable advice is given on everything from diet to exercise and ways to improve one's health and hence the condition of one's teeth. He is a kind and empathetic man who takes a genuine interest in one's well-being.

Fantastic experience: I cannot praise the treatment from Dr Abdul highly enough. He has a supportive, calm manner, explaining your treatment and happy to answer questions. He is highly skilled and treatments that I dreaded in the past are carried out efficiently and painlessly. He is the best dentist I have experienced in my 70 years.

Positive experience: Dr. Stewart was fantastic, he educated me on things no other dentist was able to properly diagnose. I appreciate that he uses nontoxic BPA-free fillings. Even though I live far away, I will be back to continue our care plan. My appointment was delayed by an hour, because someone else needed emergency care. I had extra time to wait and was glad that person got the care they needed! My only complaint preventing 5 stars -- the radio station playing in the waiting room and clinic room was unbearably annoying.

Fantastic experience: Myself and my family were made to feel irresponsible for not using sodium fluoride ( a well known neuro toxin ) on our children’s teeth, not to mention the mercury in amalgam fillings! It is a huge relief to discover the whole world is not suffering from cognitive dissonance. The staff at Oban dentist and implant centre were super well informed and sympathetic. Expensive? Had a wisdom tooth extraction by Stewart’s colleague which was insanely pain free, easy and so quick. Had many scans done and felt seen and heard in everything I spoke about.

Fantastic experience: Having not seen a dentist in several years, Dr Wright gave me a thorough explanation of the best course of action for not only my oral health but also some insightful recommendations for my general health, following my x-ray and oral examination. He was happy to repair an unsightly front tooth at my initial consultation (with excellent results) even though it ate into his lunch break (pun intended!). I am genuinely looking forward to going back to have my metal fillings removed (the SMART way!).
