Fantastic experience: I visited Ten Dental Balham for a tooth extraction in 2025 with Dr Charles Paterson, and the entire experience was handled with exceptional care and professionalism. Despite the serious nature of the procedure, Dr. Paterson’s calm manner, clear consultation, and confident approach put me at ease, and the procedure itself went smoothly. The recovery was equally impressive, progressing exactly as explained and feeling very well managed throughout. What truly stood out was the aftercare and follow-up from the clinic, which made a noticeable difference. Gabi was outstanding in this regard—always informative, reassuring, and incredibly responsive over chat and phone, while clearly managing a high volume of patients with grace and attentiveness. I’m genuinely grateful to both Gabi and Dr. Paterson for the care, professionalism, and reassurance they provided from start to finish.

Fantastic experience: Really enjoyed my medical-grade facial with Weronika. The room was calming, she explained what she was doing as she went along, and was very gentle. I fell asleep a couple of times I was so relaxed! Afterward my skin was glowing and three days later my skin still looks polished. Will definitely book again!

Fantastic experience: I’ve recently had two sets of teeth extractions done at TenDental in order to prepare for a metal braces treatment which I’ve been quite nervous about. All I can say is that I’ve been dealt with such care and kindness here. The extractions were done by the amazing duo Dr Alex & Mihaela who reassured me throughout the entire process and made it such a smooth and painless procedure, thoroughly walking me through what would happen during and enlightening me with all the after care. As well as this, Riley, the treatment Co ordinator has been incredible when it comes to answering any questions I’ve had about the entire treatment, always communicating with me efficiently whenever I’ve popped up with any logistic/ financial questions at random points. He’s always been so happy to redirect me to the correct people and just treated me with such genuine care. I’m awaiting for my bond up for the actual braces with Dr Dipen in a few weeks, but from all the thorough consultations I’ve sat with him, I’m confident that everything will go swimmingly. All gratitude goes to the entire team there at TENDENTAL, I couldn’t imagine going elsewhere for any treatment.

He was very patient to guide me through what needed to be done and he was able to fit me in around my travel schedule. Fantastic experience: Everyone here is very friendly and professional. I've been there for lots of reasons and have been seen by what feels like every practitioner. Agata is the best hygienist I've ever been treated by, so much attention to detail. The orthodontist Meeral and the orthodontics nurse Lea were both very patient with my questions. I've been seen by 3 orthodontists before and this team is by far the best. Charlie is great too, I came in with a broken tooth and Charlie is doing an amazing job with the reconstruction on it. Gabi too is doing fantastically coordinating all of this. Everyone is so friendly. They really have the best team.

Fantastic experience: I had a root canal last week, which I was dreading. But Dr Bozis was so great I hardly felt a thing. He explained very clearly what was going to happen and during the procedure he was very gentle. I felt very little pain during the treatment, which was really only when the anaesthetic was administered. I thought I'd be in agony the next day or two but paracetamol for the next couple of days easily did the trick. Thanks to the whole team (especially Dr Bozis who is very skilled at his job) for making the experience a great one!

The extraction treatment was perfect—previously, I had a root canal treatment (RTC), which also went smoothly. Dr. Alex Rikart was very skilled and caring; the procedure was completely painless, which made the experience much better. He also took the time to consult with my other healthcare providers regarding my underlying health issues, which was very reassuring. The receptionist, Riley, was warm and professional. He made sure I had all the necessary home care instructions and followed up with a check-in call the next day. Overall, a great clinic with outstanding staff—I highly recommend it!

Negative experience: Edit: after spending over £12k for my teeth over 5 years. I called today to ask for a new retainer as I had misplaced mine. They want scan my teeth again although my teeth have not moved. As my retainer was fitting perfectly plus I have a permanent retainer too. She said it would cost £360. Sad that the service has lowered and they are just looking for money. I have just finished my treatment after a few years, incognito braces with Anni, implant & gum repair with Martin and fillings/whitening with Jamie. Couldn’t be happier with my teeth now. I was nervous of dentists, but I got over that with the super friendly dental assistants. Maggie on reception is missed in Balham! All I need now is not to require wearing a mask to show my smile off! If you are contemplating treatment, think no more and book your apt.

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient at Ten Dental (Balham) for years and the staff are amazing. The brilliant Dr Annika Patel was my orthodontist and fitted my lingual braces - she was incredible from start to finish. She has true expertise and is clearly very passionate about her job and giving it her all. She also clearly really cares about her patients and giving them what they want. I felt I could ask her anything throughout my treatment plan and I'm so grateful for all her work and the ease at which I could communicate with her.

Fantastic experience: Amazing Service & Great Team I was referred to Ten Dental by my dentist for an implant. From the start of the process the team have been very professional, supportive and helpful. Every step of the way Dr Nik fully explained the treatment I would receive and was able to answer any questions/concerns I had. The team were also great, in particular Mihaela who made me feel at ease during the more difficult procedures and Gabi who was always smiling, very friendly and extremely helpful with booking appointments etc. I am very happy with my new implant and would definitely recommend Ten Dental.

Fantastic experience: I had implant surgery with Martin. It was incredibly involved surgery with several procedures over several months. In all it took a year. Martin was absolutely wonderful. He is obviously brilliant at what he does but he’s also a nice person who is caring and gives superb patient care.

Negative experience: I tried to book an appointment online, but it felt like a money grab. They push you towards "emergency slots" with a £150 fee just to secure a booking. When I explained it wasn’t an emergency, they double-checked and informed me that the standard booking fee had tripled from £50. This feels incredibly unethical and disappointing.

Negative experience: I spent over £5,000 on metal braces, and my teeth are still not straight they look flat . Despite telling two different dentists three times that I was unhappy with the results, they ignored me and did whatever they wanted. They completely disregarded my concerns and wasted my money. They don't care about their patients or their results. Just look at my teeth ! I’ve been saving for years to finally fix my smile and it look worse than before. I want to cry every time I look at them ! Update: The owner contacted me apologising and promising to get back to me with a new treatment plan , but that was 3 months ago she never got back to me . Once again they show how much they care. Complete waste of time and money !

Negative experience: I have had a lot of dental work done over the years, hence I prefer to have deep cleanings to keep my gums healthy. Despite TenDental raising their prices by almost 15% each year, I still scheduled the £170 appointment because I was happy with the cleanings in the past. I had the appointment on Thursday and the hygienist was lovely and thorough. However, by Friday I started feeling unwell with strong dental pain on one side. Things got worse over the weekend - the pain had spread, half of my face is swollen and my eye and ear hurt on that side. I spent the weekend in bed on the strongest painkillers I have - leftovers from an abdominal surgery. I've barely left the bed all weekend and barely slept due to pain. I called the practice on Monday morning because I'm worried about an infection. I was flabbergasted by the receptionist basically dismissing me, telling me to give it a few more days and to call back if I'm not better after a week. As if 4 days in bed with excruciating pain is not a cause for concern. I am utterly shocked at this attitude. It's not like my gums are tender - I am in bed with extreme pain, swelling and fever. I got an emergency appointment with my GP, but I am not even sure what GP can do other than prescribe me more painkillers or refer me to an emergency NHS dentist - because the private dentist can't be bothered to take this seriously. Needless to say, I won't be coming back to TenDental. I know that weird and unlikely complications can happen with dental work, but for the practice to just completely dismiss this is not acceptable.

Positive experience: I don't know many people who don't dread, a trip to the dentist of which sadly, I am one! I have to say that the treatment I have received from Dr Nik and the attention received from the Ten Dental team has always been professional, informative and efficient. I have found Dr Nik to be patient, understanding and kind, as is his assistant particularly when I have squeezed her hand, a little too tightly for a little longer than necessary! I have been consistently pleased with the treatment and service that I have received and have no hesitation in recommending Ten Dental based, on my own personal experience. For reasons that I hope Ten Dental will understand, I hope not to have to visit them too much, in the future.

Fantastic experience: Had a hygienist appointment with Agata in Balham. I tried the new way to clean the teach, I think it was called hydro treatment and it was amazing. Agata took time to explain where I brush my teeth well and where requires extra attention, then the whole procedure was pleasant for the first time in my life and I visit hygienist regularly and really look after my teeth. I will be definitely booking appointment with her again.

Negative experience: I was about to leave when I witnessed a dentist treating one of the nurse badly, I hoped she reported this racist dentist to her line manager. I wonder why no one noticed the racial way he behaved. I will never go back again nor my family and friends

Fantastic experience: Made an appointment to see Dr Jamie after putting it off for ages, he was truly amazing and professional and found a plan to fit what I needed done. He was an absolute perfectionist when it come to some of my cosmetic dental work and could not have asked for better results.

Fantastic experience: Root canal treatment with Dr Apostolos 20 May 2024 Despite being very nervous I had my procedure without sedation. Dr Apostolis has a kind and understanding nature with nervous/anxious patients like me. I didn't feel any pain during my treatment of 1.5 hours and the anaesthetic wore off quickly leaving no pain to the treated area. I would highly recommend Dr Apostolos for Root Canal treatment at Tendental. Thank you very much for carrying out excellent specialist treatment.

Fantastic experience: I have been meaning to leave a review for some time. I've been registered as a patient with Ten Dental Clapham for a few years now. My last appointment was in December last year. The staff are always welcoming, friendly, professional, efficient and help you feel at ease. When you enter the Dental practice you immediately get a feel that you're in one of the best dental practices in town. The waiting times are great, the environment is clean, modern and spacious. Whenever I've had any queries I am always helped super efficiently by the Treatment Coordinator who always has a huge friendly smile on her face and is very responsive with emails. Ten Dental is a top class dental practice and I am a happy customer who will continue to return.

Fantastic experience: Exemplary service! I had a dental implant fitted in 2019 at Ten Dental. Unfortunately the implant recently failed - we believe as a result of me grinding my teeth in my sleep (something that was highlighted as a risk at my initial assessment in 2019 when I was told to invest in a night guard, I did but didn’t like it so stopped wearing it). I was to blame for the failure, but rather than point fingers or argue about the root cause they replaced the tooth under the existing guarantee - this resulted in three appointments and a significant investment of time and resource as they retrieved the broken thread, designed the tooth and had it fitted. The service was incredible throughout and I couldn’t have asked for a better response. First class throughout - thank you!

Fantastic experience: Dr Debbie Zotou is an outstanding reconstructive Dentist. Her professionalism, kindness and efficiency is of the highest srandaeds. Her skills, I dare to say, reach the level of art. I have had previous assessments by NHS and private dentists for my teeth problems and the prediction for positive outcome was not good. However, I was fortunate enough to be referred to her for a third opinion. She came highly recommended by other dentists for her advanced skills. Dr Zotou assessed and comprehended the problems during my first visit. Her treatment plan was discussed in details with me and all options analysed and explained. We proceeded to the treatment and not only my teeth were saved, but the functional and cosmetic outcome is perfect. I am grateful to Dr Zotou and her team.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely superb care from everyone at the practice, in particular the brilliant Dr Nikhil Sisodia. Any issues with an existing implant, Nik is the man to go to. He came highly recommended by my local dentist and he confidently solved an issue with my implant, while explaining the situation reassuringly and professionally. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Negative experience: I needed to get my tooth assessed to see if there was a crack in the tooth of my tooth. I was told on the phone, prior to my appointment that various tests would be implemented to diagnose the tooth and see if there was an actual crack in the root of my tooth and let me know if any issues with the teeth in the surrounding area. I was asked for an over the phone payment of £90. When I arrived to the dental practise, the dentist has only made a check up on the tooth and told me that “there isn’t necessarily a crack in the root” meaning there could be if the tooth was drilled into. This whole procedure was basically a check up and the appointment took less than 5 minutes. I believe the dentist seemed quite angry in his tone when talking to me too but I didn’t think anything of it. I feel ripped off for a 2 minute check up for £90 and when I asked about the tooth further. He told me that he has 25 years experience in dentistry. I just called the dentist to request a refund and the employee on the phone tried to avoid paying the refund by mentioning at this is a private dentist and that the dentist had 15 years experience.

Negative experience: Do not waste your money here seriously. They make you feel awful about yourself. I don’t smoke or drink and they made my teeth sound like they were about to all fall off. Their recommended “treatment plan” totalled at £3,500 which is extortionate. In the 20 minute appointment (for which I payed £70) she tapped 3 teeth and put an X-ray slide in which cut the bottom of my mouth- I repeatedly told her it hurt and she carried on. I also gave a heads up that I was nervous which was totally ignored - seriously this place is a scam

Fantastic experience: I was referred over to Ten Dental from my usual dentist after expressing interest in some cosmetic work. That was 12 months ago and I haven't stopped smiling since! I had been having Invisalign treatment with Dr Parm Singh and from the very first appointment he explained everything concisely making sure I had all the information I needed before making a decision. Had multiple appointments the past 12 months to make sure everything was progressing as it should. Naturally I had some apprehensions regarding the process but all fears were put at ease. I had looked into various other companies and quotes (Smile Direct etc) but can't recommend getting in touch with Ten Dental if you are considering anything like this. Had so many compliments on my teeth since! Can't thank Dr Parm enough. I also want to shout out to Rosie Georgieva for being so kind and helpful whenever I had any questions. I tend to be a bit of a hypochondriac but she always replied to emails quickly and put any worries about any aches or pains to rest. It was always such a nice environment going there and having a laugh (talking about our pet cats as well!) made the process so much nicer. Thank you Rosie :)

Fantastic experience: Dr.Sherif Kamel, did a mucus retention cyst removal for my son. He did such a good job. The sutures are so fine and such a nice closure of the incision. Fantastic experience: I had neglected my teeth - I am nervous of dentist visits from childhood experiences . However an infected tooth forced me to the dentist finally. I met with Dr James Littler - who was incredibly reassuring and gentle and talked me thoroughly through a treatment plan - covering necessary work and suggested work. I have just come back from my first treatment session - an extraction and new composite filling and it was great. I hardly felt anything and Jamie talked me through each detail. The infected tooth was out before I realised it! I can honestly say I am looking forward to getting the rest of the work done and having my teeth restored. Can’t recommend Jamie enough - plus lovely friendly reception staff and nurses who did a lot to put me at my ease.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to this practice by my dentist and it has been a great experience so far! I need some teeth straightening and an implant and had at first a consultation with Dr. Nikhil about the implant. He was patient with me, explained everything in details and always made sure I understood the treatment plan. He then let me discuss with Rosie all options and costs. Rosie was really attentive about what I wanted and explained thoroughly all options that I had discussed with Dr. Nikhil. I found Rosie inspiring. As she had experience with braces as an adult, her help and tips were appreciated so I could make my decision. Rosie is also super helpful as she set me up with an earlier appointment with Dr. Parmjit (orthodontist) as soon as she had a cancellation. Dr. Parmjit was also nice and explained everything to me in a comprehensive manner. I can't wait to start my treatment and will keep this updated when everything is over and my smile is improved. I have a great faith in the team and I know I am in capable hands.

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend this dentist enough. I registered after a friend recommended them to me and am so pleased they did. Everyone from the dentists and hygienists to the reception team and orthodontist are kind, helpful and professional - and most importantly they put you at ease. After decades of hating my teeth, I finally took the plunge and booked Invisalign with them in 2021. I had so much trust in the team after all my previous appointments that I decided to go for it - and a year on I couldn’t be happier. The whole Invisalign process was so smooth, and I felt very well cared for. Rosie in particular was brilliant at talking me through everything and answering my many questions, with plenty of patience and reassurance! My treatment took just over a year - exactly as expected, and it’s all down to the Ten Dental team who genuinely seem to care that you get the results you want (and that you’ve paid for!). Fantastic experience: Excellent service. I recently had a series of procedures over the last few months to insert an implant. There were a number of complications, through no ones fault, but TEN dental responded brilliantly and patiently to get to a great end result without charging any extra. Fantastic experience: I have been going to Ten Dental for a few years now. The team is amazing, Dr James Littler is calm, thorough, friendly. I used to be scared of dentist appointments but he is so incredibly steady handed and gentle that I’m always at ease when I sit in the dentist chair. The receptionists are always friendly and very helpful. Ilona was incredibly supportive when I turned up at the wrong branch for my hygienist appointment. She called the other branch and explained that I made a mistake and allowed me to rebook my appointment without charging me again. A big thanks to Alfie too, my incredibly friendly and great hygienist, who also understood my mix up with the location. Alfie is very gentle and does a wonderful job at cleaning my teeth. I am also thankful for Frederico who is a very professional gum specialist and treated me a couple of years ago. And I mustn’t forget the lovely assistants who are always so smiley and caring. Thanks Ten dental team for your amazing service!

Fantastic experience: Dr Nik Sisodia came recommended to us to help fix my 15 year old daughter's smile after a horse riding accident left her with 4 missing top teeth and 3 broken bottom teeth. He was open, honest and explained everything in detail so she would understand what was required. He made mock ups of the teeth she would have made and was diligent in making sure she loved them and would be happy with them. Nothing was too much trouble and the appointments were never rushed. His manner was kind, gentle and reassuring in every appointment - he made her feel very at ease and able to ask questions. He went out of his way to make sure her smile was perfect. Her confidence has soared since she had the new teeth fitted and for the first time in 4 years she is genuinely happy with her smile and how she looks. We are currently undergoing having her bottom teeth fixed by one of Dr Sisodia's colleagues, Dr Jess, who has also been utterly brilliant in explaining everything in detail, reassuring my daughter and, again, making sure she is happy with how they will look. The admin staff are efficient and super helpful as well. We are always greeted with a smile! I can't recommend Ten Dental highly enough - for us every visit is a positive experience and the work they have done has been second to none. We will definitely be back for implants when the time is right! Thank you so much for restoring my daughter's confidence in her smile!

Negative experience: Ten Dental used to be a great dentist's but over the last 10 years, standards have really slid down to NHS levels. 1. Answering Phones: They now seem unable to answer a phone properly. They have in fact now outsourced their calls to a call answering service who are dreadful at passing information on, especially important, time sensitive info like an emergency appointment request. If a dental practice cant even answer their own phones, its time to leave. Those who do answer the phones at the practice, English is clearly not their first language, nor one that they are good at. 2. Pratice Standards; Balham is tired, worn and painfully uncomfortable. The seating is excrutiatingly uncomfortable and the reception is uncomfortably hot and stuffy. Hard wooden benches to sit on when a patient is in pain really can make you feel worse! They have pointless TV's on the ceilings that never work, and if they did, you wouldnt be able to see them due to the lights and dentists all up in your face... Couriers freely welcome to use their toilets (Great hygene) 3. Staff; Having arrived 20 minutes early for an emergency appointment, it was only when my appouintment time started that I was presented with a 2 page medical form and asked to fill it all in. Despite my telling them all of my details are the same, nothing has changed, its their "Company policy" that every patient has to complete one every 6 months! Seriously? Every 6 months, you need to make sure our name and date of birth are the same? Many pointless questions on it. Any decent reception staff / practice manager would give you this form as soon as you arrive. The receptionists seem to be untrained as they cant even add up your bill correctly. Deposit plus remaining amount for treatment was added up incorrectly and ended up with me being overcharged. They were then unable to rectify this nor figure out how to. Seriously, basic maths... The Dentists also stream music through the ceiling whilst trying to explain things to you in poor English. I really struggled to understand what the dentist was saying. I called to ask for all my dental records to be emailed to me and was told "Sorry, due to GDPR, we need that in writing", by xomebody who clerly doesnt understand what GDPR is. Anything they dont like, they simply claim "Company policy". Well, my company policy is, if you cant put your patients needs first, then you'll have no patients. There are a lot of things wrong with TEN now. They used to be great, but standards have clearly slipped a long way over 10 years. I wont be going back and I wouldn't recommend them to anybody at all.

Fantastic experience: Dentist: Dr James Littler Treatment: Molar Prep & Ceramic Crown My New Dentist The man with gentle hands, Dr James has such a knowledgeable, passionate, calming, welcoming energy, that allowed me to feel safe and comfortable in his chair. We underwent a two hour crown prep session and his attention to detail was phenomenal. I barley felt the injection, Dr James made sure he explained the process beforehand and when something presented itself, he was upfront and on the ball. I am more then happy with the way my treatment turned out and how natural it feels and looks. I will say that Dr James is one of if not the best dentist I have experienced in a very long time. The receptionist themselves are beautiful, amazing women who have provided me with a service that's conducive to my treatment. They are polite, respectful, informative, speedy, professionals who add that extra touch needed. If I can not reach them via telephone I will email and they respond within the day or the next day. But they have not left me chasing them up, they are very much so on the ball with communication.

Negative experience: I don't know if this practice is still operating, because nobody ever answers the phone, The only thing that is still alive is an answer machine, but if you leave a message nobody ever gets back to you.
