Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to a dentist for many years, I was told the first appointment would purely be for a consultation , after a thorough examination by the dentist and 5 x-rays he informed me the tooth i had some pain from he would not be able save and suggest I needed to have it extracted to which he said , would you like it done today or return another day ,whilst I was already in the chair I decided to have taken out there and then. The whole experience was very relaxed, professional and more or less pain free, I can not recommend this dental practice highly enough, 5 stars from me,and I will definitely be keeping up with regular checkups in the future. Fantastic experience: I haven’t seen a dentist for a number of years. I was able to get an NHS Appointment within a 2 week timeframe. Everyone was very nice and friendly. I was talked through about everything that my dentist was doing and he also did a couple of small fillings whilst I was there. An excellent service and I would highly recommend them. Many Thanks

Fantastic experience: I was so nervous but everyone was lovely, patient and understanding. I had two fillings and I didn't feel them at all. I'm really pleased with the end result and feel 100% comfortable returning for any further treatment. Thank you to everyone involved in making my visit a nice experience.

Negative experience: Wouldn't bother if you're nhs patient...you will only get to see a trainee dentist whose assistant knows more than them unless you complain.. but If you do put a formal complaint in, They will point blank lie in there response and tell you to find another dentist. Countless appointments where they constantly avoid the actual cause of the problem just so they can get more appointments out of you. They will even give you appointments where they dont even look at your teeth. paul will just stand there talking nonsense he will tell you something different every time you see him cant make his mid up...still haven't fixed the problem after over a year! they are a drain to the nhs. Currently taking it to an ombudsman and higher up in the nhs

Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment today at Amwell practise with Ronak, and I can honestly say it was the best experience! From the moment I checked in with the receptionist, who was super funny and welcoming, to sitting down in the chair with Ronak and his assistant I felt at ease, looked after and very happy with the whole service. Ronak answered all my questions, and kept me informed during the appointment on what he was doing and WHY (it’s nice to actually know this, as lot of dentist don’t say) If you’re looking for a new dentist, I would highly recommend the practise!

I have a severe phobia of the dentist and recently cracked my tooth. I was able to get an appointment the next day and was made to feel at ease. They explained lots of different options in detail and gave me the time to go home and think about what I would like to do. I felt so reassured that I have already booked a hygienist appointment too! Fantastic experience: This is a small place but it's got a calming atmosphere, the staff are lovely and are very professional. I do wish there was a bit more access for the disabled, I think there are rooms downstairs people can use but I used the upstairs ones. it's a converted house so there is no lift and you have to use the stairs. Other than the building logistics is a lovely place and I was happy with the service here

Fantastic experience: After recently moving to Hoddesdon from London I joined this dentist, and I’ve got to say I’m impressed. My treatments were carried out quickly and efficiently, I’m extremely happy with the work, I’ve even laughed with my dentist and dental nurse, they put me so at ease, and usually I’m such a nervous patient I have to be sedated intravenously! They also were great with my child who is autistic when he went for his first checkup. Would highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I was struggling to find a good dentist where i live in north west London so travelled to Amwell Street dental practice after a recommendation. I was delighted at the service. The dentist managed to take an xray that previous dentists could not and recommended some gum cleaning. The whole process was painless and the whole team were superb and attentive. Fantastic experience: I’m not normally one to feel nervous at dentist appointments but I have to admit, this one had me quite anxious as it was for a tooth extraction… well I needn’t have worried. Everything was clearly explained to me step by step and I was checked on and reassured throughout the entire procedure. I was made to feel really calm and we even had the music on. Dare I say it, I actually had quite a laugh with my dentist today. Don’t get me wrong, it was still a tooth extraction so I’m not exactly in a rush for another one but I’ve been sent home with really clear after care instructions and actually I don’t feel that dread about my follow up appointment that I usually feel. I did attend this practice when I was a child and I am so happy to be back with them. From the time you book to attending the service is first class. You are always welcomed with a friendly, chatty and professional receptionist and the rest of the staff are also great. If you can get in with them you will not be disappointed.
