Fantastic experience: Dr Rebecca Reid I’ve always been absolutely terrified of the dentist, to the point where I spent the last 8 years driving past my practice’s door because of awful past experiences. That all changed today. Something I had been so self-conscious about, and that no other dentist ever offered to fix, was completely sorted this morning in just half an hour—with zero pain and plenty of laughs along the way. Rebecca is outstanding. I was convinced the tooth would need surgical removal, but she had it out in 30 seconds and restored my smile as if the problem had never existed. I’m honestly flabbergasted—and for the first time in my life, I’m actually looking forward to my next dental visit. Thank you for giving me the confidence to smile like a Cheshire Cat again! Negative experience: After booking an appointment for a dental x-ray be reception I was swiftly sent packing by the dentist who was completely unwilling to help, or even listen to my predicament. Dentist (Greg) was unhelpful, rude, defensive and more. Will definitely not return!

Fantastic experience: Went here as nhs patient. I had 2 teeth left on my upper jaw and a few missing on the bottom. Rebecca was amazing,no judgment just down to business in getting my smile back. After what felt like a thousand moulds the lab finally got it right. Got my dentures fitted with some little adjustments and bingo,I have a smile again that looks natural and not like turkey teeth lol. I could not be happier with the result. Rebecca is abrilliant dentist and very friendly,constantly explaining what what's happening throughout the process. All staff very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: My girlfriend was recommended to see Dr. Rebecca Reid to fix an issue with one of her front teeth, and what a difference one visit has made! Her teeth already look amazing after just one appointment, and she’s got another one next week, and I have an appointment right after her. Fantastic experience: Was really pleased to register as a NHS patient on Monday and be offered an appointment on Thursday. My dentist Greg couldn’t be lovelier. A really calming, relaxed guy. Can imagine that he’d be really great with nervous patients.

Negative experience: In general Clyde Munro group are the most oppressive and unprofessional dental group in Scotland. They are only care about financial gain and duty of care. You would find it to be cheaper and better dental treatment n turkey and have a sunshine holiday at the same time .

Fantastic experience: Lovely staff, super accommodating, very understanding of busy changing work schedules. Receptionists are lovely, and they’re very fast with emergency appointments if you need. Highly recommend this dentist!

Negative experience: Extremely unprofessional. Got an emergency appointment which was grand thank you very much! However, I was sent the incorrect address for the practice - I took my daughter out of school early for this appointment only to be sent on a wild goose chase. When I finally got given the correct address I was told we couldn't be seen as there wasn't enough time. I am travelling on the weekend and am now left in the lurch with my 9 year old daughter in pain!

Fantastic experience: I am terrified of dentists due to past experience I was referred to city dental by clyde munro from my own dentist they were very helpful and understanding of my fear to the point that yesterday I had sedation and they removed two teeth one of which I have had problems with for a while but was to scared to do anything about I was very nervous when I arrived the staff who work there were very helpful and explained everything that was going to happen they were very patient with me and this helped very much I would highly recommend them to anyone like myself and I would happily go back for any further treatment required

Negative experience: Does not deserve 1 star too - took 5 appointments over 3 months to do just one broken white filling - filling seems very cheap & glassy after filling says it will settle soon but comes out after 2 days, price-charging is exotic - £178 for 1 white filling Dentist/girls there do not know to operate their tools too , first appointment was chaotic with water splashing all over my face & changing rooms - gave them sufficient chances to repair the teeth - still the same - waste of money, time, energy??

Negative experience: Absolute joke of a company. I am autistic and after experiencing months of negligent care I attended the surgery looking to speak to the practice manager as my teeth are in complete crisis due to their dentists. I was patronised by the dental nurse and even after telling her many times I was autistic and in meltdown she still accused me of being abusive. I removed myself from the practice and was followed by a dentist who verbally attacked me and intimidated me in the car park in front of my 6 year old daughter and said and I quote "I don't know anything about your condition and I don't care". When I complained I was removed as a patient. I have suffered extreme anxiety which is affecting not only me but the others in my life. Avoid like the plague. I noticed they removed my last review. I'm not going away, you destroyed my oral health, then my mental health and actually broke The Equality Act 2010 by discriminating against my disability.

Negative experience: This company does not deserve a one star.... Just how many times does a dentist become ill every time your appointment is due. 5 canceled appointments because the dentist was ill. What a ill excuse. But the icing on the cake was my friend had a appointment with the same dentist on the same day my appointment was due and was cancelled because the dentist was ill again. And guess what she made a miracle recovery and she filled his filling because he paid private.. this company is a utter joke not interested in anyone that's with the NHS and if you are the will cancel your appointments with poor excuses or give you appointments month's away. Stay away from this company there a joke.

Negative experience: Being trying to phone head office for 3 months now and keep getting told the manager will phone me back. Trading standards will be my next port of call I think.

Negative experience: Extremely disappointed as I found out this week my referral for treatment to the dental hospital was never processed by Clyde Munro Practice. I have been kept waiting for nearly a year for an appointment. Not sure whose responsibility this is, but it this is unacceptable.

Negative experience: My false teeth are falling out I'm over 60 and was advised to stick my teeth in. I am being refused new teeth on NHS . They are only interested in private patients pretend take on NHS and do everything to not give them teeth worst dentist

Fantastic experience: Having now been able to return to the dentist after the pandemic it's nice to see the same friendly face at reception. New dentist, Breige, who was friendly & professional as was Lucy, the hygienist, who picked up treatment from BC days. This is a modern dentist, using online technology to gather information & check in details but the staff haven't forgotten that we don't look forward to visits so go out of their way to make you at ease as much as possible.

Negative experience: Was pretty much embarassed into wearing a mask after restrictions being lifted in both country and community, I was so surprised about this that I did not think to question the fact that I was exempt when a mask was forced on me. Asked for a follow up appointment after 4pm and was told I could not be given one due “protocol” as staff need to clean after appointments, even though adult appointments have been cancelled for a at least a year and Glasgow Live confimed children were being treated out off hours.

Fantastic experience: My 8 year old son was seen yesterday by Melissa and her sedation nurse for inhalation sedation for a small filling , they where both absolutely amazing with him and really made the hole experience less stressful for myself and really helped Jacob get this wee filling done, talking to him all the way through amazing job highly recommend. Fantastic experience: As ever, was nervous about entering a dental practice.However, reception was friendly and welcoming. While sitting filling in forms, I spotted a rather amusing giraffe figure, not sure if this is to put you at ease or why it is there, but it worked. Dentist herself was very good, kind and avoided the problems I usually have with gag reaction while examining my teeth.After assessment it was agreed I should return for sedation treatment. Only disappointment on this is the 6 month waiting list, as I need the treatment now, Covid has delayed my dental treatment so much

Fantastic experience: Following a check-up, I saw Dr Manzar Iqbal for a cleaning and a filling. Manzar and the staff are professional and welcoming. Manzar clearly spoke me through all my options, and really took the time to help; I am very happy with my new white filling which I can barely see as identical to my real teeth!

Negative experience: Dentist is nice. But I feel pain during and after filling. I have called nhs24 to try to get my teeth drilled again to release the pain. I have several filling done before, and never expected this one so painful.

Fantastic experience: I visited recently due to a broken tooth which had started causing excruciating pain in my left side of my mouth and face. I was told that the tooth was unsaveable and would need to be removed. I expected this to be honest given the amount of time which had passed since I broke it. However I was very nervous as it was a molar and if it broke during removal then I would need to be referred to have it surgically removed. The dentist made me aware of this and talked me through all my options which made me feel comfortable and immediately trusting of him. I agreed to let him try and remove the molar and he was really good at making me feel comfortable and suggested breathing techniques to try during receiving the anaesthetic since my nerves were making me very shaky. He managed to remove the tooth in tact and did so within a few minutes. The nurse who was helping him was also very efficient and thoughtful throughout the whole process. I left feeling very at ease with everything and would definitely return for any further procedures and check ups as I really felt listened to and trusted the dentist to do a good job without hurting me or causing discomfort.

Fantastic experience: Really professional set up in a comfortable modern surgery. All the staff and the doctor make you feel in good hands. I visited during Tier 3 lockdown conditions and was impressed at the strict adherence to safety and social distancing protocols.

Negative experience: I had an absolute nightmare of an experience. Little backstory. I am a lil frightened of the dentist and I had expressed this to the very lovley women who got me my appointment. Then the day of the appointment,I phone again to double check the time and I am greeted by a very rude woman. I also explained to her I didnt get sent the forms I was asked to fill out and she made it out to be my fault, as she grugendly noted my email down. Upon arriving and being told to come in, the lady dentist that unfortunately had me at her door, began by giving me a lecture about not being registered and as a young woman with mental health problems (again explained in my notes) I have people who give me my dentist and doctor information. I was told to phone this dentist and i got an appointment with no problem. So at this point I'm a little confussed and stressed and began to tear up, as I explained I dont understand. She explained i still have the appointment and therefore i didnt see the point in her egging me on. So throughout her speaking to me, she was talking to me in a very rude and assertive tone, that i did not appreciate. Made me feel like a mental patient. She started using big words i didnt understand after i explained i was there due to a filling falling out. And my main fear was having a drill used on me, so in a panic I asked if I would be getting drilled today. She said no and proceeded to go onto ANOTHER lecture about me not being registered and covid and all this other irrelevant stuff. As I DID NOT want any of this done anyway, which she would have known if she took the time to actually listen to me. But no, she then proceeded to raise her voice at me, and when I called her out on it, she claimed I had "raised my eyebrows" at her. Now, I have a very expressive face, and a very impulsive mind. So when I have a thought my eyebrows lift almost like excitedly. This woman took it as me being angry. And Started to yell at me, I explained she was taking things way out of proportion and was unneeded. I explained I have a huge fear of the dentist and I dont want any of this. She then started to tell me i could just leave. I asked her how can I leave, I'm here to get a treatment and all I wanted to know from you is what you were gonna do. Then I began to raise my voice and it turned into a screaming match because at this point I was in tears. Absolutely mortified and confused about how someone working with PEOPLES TEETH can be so cruel and disrespectful to nervous clients. To the other workers who saw me screaming at this lady, I do apologise. But the service I had received that day was scarring and sent me straight to a breakdown and I will be taking further action on this.

The practice as you can imagine during this strange times was very busy but they gave me an emergency appointment first thing the next day which was gratefully appreciated. I registered with them two months ago an when I registered they had me in the following week, I've been scared of dentists most of my life an when I went in david reassured me that that any work that had to be done would be painless. So when I did go in for a tooth extraction he gave me the aesthetic an had the tooth out within 5 minutes didn't feel a thing. Thanks David is a great dentist an the dental nurses are nice an welcoming, would highly recommend...
