Negative experience: I came here in May 2024 as I wanted my teeth whitening for an upcoming wedding. Initially, I was looking at another product, but the dentist advised an alternative instead that would achieve similar results. After a trip to the hygienist and another to have my teeth scanned for the trays, I was ready to go with an overnight whitening kit in very impressive packaging. What followed was four weeks of pain and sensitivity but no discernible signs of whitening. My teeth finished the course exactly the same colour as they started and it all feels now a complete waste of money. A real shame as the surgery itself is immaculate and ran by polite and professional people, but that all means nothing if the treatments on offer don’t work as promised.

Although my daughter was not cooperative during the first attempt, Dr. Anita showed great patience, kindness, and understanding. Fantastic experience: Dr Gizel, performed my extraction. Dr Gizel always takes the time to greet you and ask about you and your day before settling into any discussion for the reason for the appointment, this really helps put you at ease. Admittedly I was a tad nervous on this day as I’d never had a tooth removed before. Dr Gizel explained the step by step process and listened to my worries. She is a calming influence and very patient, and checked in with me regularly throughout the process, at one point when I was feeling a bit warm she took my pulse rate and proceeded to increase the air conditioning A little later, the tooth was out. I then thought, what was all the fuss about. Thank you for a great experience Dr Gizel

Fantastic experience: Been attending this practise for three years under the care of Raluca. Im extremely nervous during my visits but i am always made to feel as relaxed as possible during treatment. My teeth and gums are looking and feeling so much healthier thanks to Raluca. All the staff in the practise are welcoming and pleasant , reception staff give a great first impression and the various dental nurses are attentive and helpful. I cant recommend this practise enough, thank you to all the team.

My dentist was Anita eles and she was thorough and extremely professional with the way she did my check up and hygiene and polish . I had my teeth done in turkey last year and the practice had no problems with me joining which I was very happy with and after the check everything was very good and just some excellent advise on how to do hygiene myself so I have no problem in the future . I joined the Denplan package as it’s a no brainer to having your appointments thru the year all covered , and for me as an older guy it’s peace of mind . The staff are so nice and polite and very helpful and I would recommend them highly .

The first was two years ago and I was very impressed with the results so when I needed more work I didn’t hesitate to return to MK Smiles. Negative experience: I experienced unprofessional customer service and untrained staff from this company as they initially told me that they were taking on nhs patients and now I’ve been told that they are fully capacity of the nhs patients what a joke

Fantastic experience: Had an extraction of a pre-molar with Doctor Gizel Pereira is do kind and friendly with a perfect bedside manner. She gave me all the information, and I felt really comfortable on her chair. And even though it was a rough procedure, she was as gentle as can be, barely 24 hours later, I have no pain, and no bleeding. I would definitely highly recommend Doctor Gizel, can't wait to visit her again

Negative experience: Unfortunately, patient care does not seem to be a priority for them. The reception staff repeatedly failed to return calls, despite promising to do so. I had considered starting my orthodontic treatment with them, but it was extremely difficult to get a response from the front desk.

I have always had anxiety from the dentist due to a traumatic experience as a child. Fantastic experience: Best dental experience at MK smiles, I have just seen Gargi for my hygiene and I couldn’t be happier! I have been seeing her for a while now, especially so since I had a dental implant at the practice, and her friendly personality and professionalism always puts me completely at ease. Nurse Gabi was brilliant at looking after me, and as soon as you walk in you are greeted with a massive smile from Danielle at reception. Fantastic experience: Great dentist! Been using them for a few years now after avoiding going to the dentists for 10+ years out of fear and embarrassment. But all the staff are so kind and welcoming and they explain everything and do everything at your pace. Recommendations are exactly that, no pressure for treatments. I now no longer have a fear or any embarrassment and happily go to all my regular checkups.

Fantastic experience: I just have to express how amazing MK Smiles is. My daughter was in a lot of pain due to a severe dental issue, and we had to come in for an emergency visit. Dr. Kishan saw us, and I was incredibly impressed by his compassion and the way he treated my daughter. Unfortunately, due to the complexity of the problem, he couldn't provide a full treatment during that appointment, but he helped us as much as he possibly could in the moment. He was so understanding. I also want to extend my sincere gratitude to Kelly, the receptionist. She even checked on us a few days after our initial visit. The hygienist Maria is exceptional! She is very personable and very very knowledgeable. She has given me great advice and techniques to incorporate better things into my dental routine without it feeling like another thing on the never ending daily to-do list. She is a credit to the practice. I also like the way she motivates me to want to do things like the interdent brushes. Fantastic experience: Having not been to the dentist in quite a while I was nervous. Kelly on reception was great and put me at ease. I had Dr Dhaval and Kyan who took me through my new patient appointment with great care. Dr Dhaval talked through what he was doing and why. He set out very clearly his thoughts on treatment without it feeling like a sales pitch. The dentist is never an enjoyable experience but this experience was much better than I expected.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to MK Smiles for years now and have never had a bad experience. My dentist is Dr Anita and she is very nice. A couple of years ago one of my molars completely shattered and I thought it will definitely need to be pulled out but Dr Anita was able rebuild it with filler and it isn’t even noticeable. I keep on top of my check up’s and Dr Anita always advises me at the end of each appointment of what I need to do to maintain my teeth. I usually have hygiene appointments with Maria. She is also lovely. Very friendly, chatty and doesn’t make you feel bad if your teeth aren’t perfect. She is also very gentle when she needs to be. I wouldn’t have anyone else now! The receptionist; Kelly is very helpful and has a lovely smile. She is just as friendly on the phone as she is in person.

Fantastic experience: Work done - Molar dental implant followed by teeth whitening. Ive never had a dental implant before and naturally being nervous I was quickly reassured by Dr Roshwin, Beth and Kelly (and the rest of the team) at MKSmiles. All analysis was performed professionally and each step of the process and what to expect was explained in detail followed by any questions I had were happily answered. The implant procedure itself was nothing like what I had imagined and was actually very smooth and pain free. Very impressed and happy with the final result. I went for the boutique teeth whitening treatment a few months later and even though I ended up using only 2 of the 4 tubes of gel supplied, the result was a very noticeable change and many people have commented on the difference it has made. From start to finish I was made very welcome and comfortable with MK Smiles and would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Would highly recommend. I had root canal and crown done at MK Smiles. Everyone and everything is very professional. From the reception staff, nurses and the dentists. I am not a good patient but I had no pain, no discomfort and 100% care and support. Really happy with the finished result and will be back to have more work in the future. Paying for dentistry is always difficult as it is never cheap but I really felt I got value for what I paid. A big thank you to the whole team. Great work , and a very satisfied customer!

Fantastic experience: My children (ages 7 and 12) saw Dr Aranxta and nurse Bimala last week for their routine check ups and she was just amazing with them. She took her time to explain everything she was doing at every point and they both came out smiling. My son has now been referred for orthodontic treatment and even though he was seen on a private basis, a referral was made to be put on the NHS ortho waiting list also, along with a referral to see Dr Kishan at the practice privately. Fantastic experience: Went for a wisdom tooth extraction. The dentist Roshwin put me at ease (as I hate needles) (...and any thought of pain). After the local anesthetic which didn't hurt my tooth was out before I even knew it. Don't know what all the fuss was about. Above all, the practice was very clean...(I'm a bit of a clean freak). Would I recommend? Yes, 100%!!!
