Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience with my tooth extraction yesterday. I have never had anything like this before so was a little apprehensive but Akshay was brilliant and put me at ease. The whole process was, unbelievably, painless! He is clearly a very skilled dentist and I am still surprised at how easy it was. I have been a patient at Your Dentist for a couple of years now and I cannot fault them. My teeth have never been healthier and the customer experience is 10/10. I’m so glad this is my local dentist!

Fantastic experience: On 16 December 2025 I visited the practice to see Amr Moussa the Hygienist. I was extremely nervous as I have had really bad experiences in the past. Amr Moussa was amazing. Fantastic experience: After relocating back to the UK I have been looking for a great dentist after initially preferring to go abroad for various services. My whole family moved over to Your Dentist Didcot and between the new patient first appointments, routine checks, hygienist and filling work the service has been great. Very friendly staff, modern equipment and techniques but with fair evaluation and pricing of what you need to have done. I never feel like they are recommending things to get money - only what I genuinely need. We are all very happy with the service provided from the whole team and feel more relaxed now we have a quality dentist locally to us

Negative experience: Akshay the owner is very unwelcoming upon arrival, I would seriously consider looking elsewhere for a dentist.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Akshay for around 18 months now, and the level of care has been consistently excellent. He’s thorough, reassuring, and always takes the time to explain what he’s doing and why, which really builds confidence. The whole practice is welcoming and professional, and because of the experience I’ve had with him, my family have now registered here too. We all feel genuinely well looked after. I’d highly recommend Akshay and the practice.

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t be more pleased to be a new patient at Your Dentist Didcot. From the moment I was greeted by Nikki, I appreciated the kind, cheerful and professional way in which all of the staff work together. The facilities are clean and modern and the technology is amazing. Akshay, ably supported by Alice, was very knowledgeable and thorough in his examination of my mouth and was patient and clear when explaining his observations and recommendations. Moussa and Alfie were very kind and gentle in my hygiene appointment. I appreciated the advice and tips they gave me on looking after my mouth . I could not recommend YDD more highly.

Fantastic experience: First visit. The whole team was friendly, very welcoming and professional. Nikki was super on reception. Akshay supported by Alice undertook a thorough review, shared detailed images of my teeth and provided a clear explanation of how they were and what needed/might need future attention. This was followed by a hygienist appointment by Moussa supported by Alfie. Another positive experience. Overall a very efficient set up, modern equipment and techniques - very impressive and big step up from my previous dentist.

A complicated and intricate procedure, expertly dealt with by Alastair and his assistant nurse Alice. Fantastic experience: As a person who has always been very nervous about visiting a dentist, I am thrilled to say that I have found the perfect practice, I am thrilled beyond words. I have been a patient at Your Dentist in Didcot ,for 2 years and I can truly say, that I have received the best treatment imaginable. From the moment you step into the practice you are immediately made to feel at ease and always welcomed with a happy voice and beautiful smile. The customer service is excellent. Once you step into the treatment room, this continues. Akshay Gulati,my dentist is a true gentleman and makes you feel comfortable as you take your seat. Fantastic experience: 5 stars in every aspect! I cannot recommend this dentists enough. Every member of staff is so accommodating and patient. I have a complicated dental history due to a previous jaw surgery, meaning dental visits are not the most enjoyable, and before becoming a patient at Your Dentist last year I hadn’t been registered with a dental practice for 6 years. Nikki on reception is extremely welcoming, immediately putting any anxiety you may have at ease. Akshay and Alfie in particular were incredibly patient and sympathetic with me. Allowing me the time I needed to psych myself up for treatment and reassuring me throughout. Akshay has great patient communication, always clearly explaining what he is going to do when and why, while always being transparent about prospective costs. If you have any concerns about going to the dentists I strongly recommend becoming a patient here. You’re never met with judgement and will receive great care.

Fantastic experience: Had two emergency appointments at Your Dentist & every time they have been fantastic! My first appointment was with Alastair and he did an excellent job, unfortunately a few months after a shoddy job at my usual dentist I had to come back again as another emergency. This time I was treated by Lucy, she was great as well! Everything was explained really well. She made sure I had all the information I needed to make the right choices about my treatment! They explained it all clearly and informed me about the charges involved. It left me feeling comfortable and at ease. Which all helps as I'm an anxious patient. Couldn't ask for better treatment!

Fantastic experience: Dr Akshay Gulati has been my dentist for over 9 years, in Didcot and at a previous practice. He has completed a number of procedures for me (e.g. bridges) so proficiently that the results look and feel completely natural. Akshay always patiently explains all the options when I need treatment and takes time to listen to me. He is friendly and caring, ensuring that I feel I am being treated as an individual. All the members of the team at Your Dentist Didcot that I have met show the same efficient and caring attitude. For instance, I am usually greeted at Reception by Nikki, who is always helpful and smiling. Dental nurses (e.g. Alfie and Alice) are similarly kind and very capable. I would recommend Your Dentist Didcot to anyone who values technical skill alongside caring and kindness.

Fantastic experience: The staff are incredible - skilled, thoughtful and with amazing attention to detail. I had some repair work done to rebuild parts of my front teeth, and the 2 staff members working on my teeth really paid attention to all the little details to make sure the end result was good functionally (my teeth are much less brittle now) but also that everything was even and smooth. Everyone is also incredibly friendly.

Fantastic experience: Being a child of the 70s, my memories of attending the dentist were NOT good.. So bad in fact that I didn't attend until the unthinkable happened and I broke a tooth. My initial consultation was with Akshay who was very warm and welcoming. My treatment since has been with Lucy. She puts you at ease and her attention is second to none. The practice has an amazing team, bringing dental care into the modern times. This is backed up by Nicola who calls to make sure you are not in pain the day after :-) All little things that make you feel welcome, relaxed and well looked after. Got to be honest, NEVER thought I would write a review recommending a Dental Practice, but 'Your Dentist Didcot' have my vote. Thanks All for the parts you play..

Fantastic experience: Just had my first dentist appointment after over a decade. The entire team are extremely friendly and welcoming, they really helped ease the anxiety I had over coming in after so long. Very professional and friendly atmosphere and my dentist Alastair was very informative, understanding, and talked me through what I needed to get done in a very friendly way. No pushing dental work I didn't need and told me how to prevent issues realistically. I would absolutely recommend this dentist for anyone with anxiety over attending!

Fantastic experience: Go to this dentist. You can thank me later. I'm one of those people who are guilty of not going to the dentist for many years. After a check-up and 2 painless fillings, I'm typing this review, wondering why I put off for so long. Receptionist was extremely lovely and very accommodating. Little touches like calling us up to check preferences for times and dates felt like we where being looked after before we'd even stepped into the clinic. You will be greeted with the same care and attention when you walk through the door. During my procedure, dentist and nurse where truly attentive to my every need. Continued communication and adjustments allowed for a swift, painless and professional process. Never thought I'd be so comfortable in dental chair. Easiest 5 star rating I have ever given. I no longer dread visits to the dentist and I'm confident my teeth and gums are in safe hands.

Fantastic experience: Having not visited a dentist for many years and being an extremely nervous patient, I felt anxious and worried about visiting a dentist. But, I can honestly say with my hand on my heart, I cannot recommend Your Dentist Didcot Ltd highly enough. Upon my first visit, I was initially greeted with a beautiful smiles and warm welcome by Nikki and Jo, such lovely ladies they are. Then I had my first examination with Alastair, he was also very friendly and welcoming and he put me at ease immediately. Alastair understood my fears and handled all my concerns with kindness and with such a reassuring manner. I understood my treatment plan which was explained clearly to me, and I felt less nervous when I left. My first appointment with hygienist (Moussa) was arranged and it was agreed, it would be split between two appointments, due to my nervous disposition, but nearer to my appointment time, I felt a bit more brave, so I contacted Your Dentist and spoke with Nikki, to see if it would be possible for me to just get it all done in one sitting. Nikki advised, all appointments were taken already and she apologised. I understood completely, as it was very short notice and I prepared to travel to the practice. Upon driving to my appointment, Nikki telephoned me, and bless her heart, she had managed to rearrange the other appointment's to accommodate my request. I could not believe it, what an absolute star she is, I cannot thank her enough. So, I arrived for my hygiene appointment with Moussa, nervous and anxious, but again I was put at ease immediately and the treatment process began. My teeth are very sensitive and I did struggle with the cleaning of them and this meant anaesthetic was required. Moussa was very understanding and gentle and he adapted to my needs which caused less pain and Jo was by my side ensuring I was comfortable. My next appointment was this morning, two fillings with Alastair, I felt very anxious when I arrived and again I felt the same warm welcome from Nikki, Jo and Polly-Anne. Shortly after, I was greeted by Alastair with a big smile and warm welcome, I entered the treatment room and had a brief chat with Alastair before he began and I felt at ease and reassured that I was in good hands. Alastair is an absolutely amazing dentist! If I wasn't so nervous, I could have easily fallen asleep, I can honestly say I didn't expect it to go so well and with such fantastic results. Alastair has given me my smile back. I absolutely should have done this years ago, and now I have found such a brilliant dentist, I will keep going regularly and I know each time I go my anxiety will ease and my confidence will improve. Fantastic experience: Called for an urgent appointment and was able to be seen less than 24 hours later. Receptionist Nikki was very nice and welcoming. I then met the dental surgeon alistair and his assistant who were both friendly and informative of my options. Overall a very friendly and professional experience.

Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment with Akshay today and he was absolutely fantastic. He was extremely thorough and very clear. Fantastic experience: I recently got invisilgin ahead of my wedding next year. The whole team there is fantastic. The receptionts are always happy to see you and so helpful! The service from initial enquiry to end of my treatment was excellent and I always felt very looked after. Akshay is clearly an expert in his field and was so easy to talk to. Before starting invisilgin I hadn't seen a dentist in a number of years so was really pleased when it wasn't a scary experience! Can't believe I look forward to seeing the dentist!

Fantastic experience: One of the best dental practices I have ever been to. Such a friendly and welcoming reception and Alastair, my dentist, is the most helpful, gentle and caring dentist you’ll ever find, will never go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Can't recommend this dentist enough - they listen to what you say and answer any questions you have and always put you at ease. They always tell you what they are doing and any options you might have without putting pressure on making a decision either way. It's clear they actually care and are very easy to chat to. The reception staff are equally as nice.

Negative experience: I missed was 10 minutes late to an appointment after having another important appointment I could not get out of, and after practically running for 20 minutes to not be late, the ladies at the reception (which I must say one was quite blunt and rude) told me that I’ve been kicked off the list of clients. I tried my best to keep myself on the list and the lady at reception told me they would give me a call and tell me if I’m back on. Spoiler alert they never did. I have never been late for an appointment before this and I don’t see how it can be justified kicking me off especially when I have to get important things done with my teeth and now I can’t.
