Fantastic experience: I had a very good experience at Falkner. The doctor explained everything clearly about each tooth, which made me feel comfortable and well-informed. I really appreciated the time and care taken. The nurse and receptionist were also very kind and treated me really well. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: I’m really disappointed with my recent experience at this dentist. I was added to their NHS waiting list and later received a call saying I had been accepted as an NHS patient. I confirmed this again on the phone when booking my appointment and was clearly told I was now NHS. When I arrived, I was told in the dentist chair that I had been booked as a private patient and was not on their NHS system at all. I was in pain, swollen, anxious and couldn’t wait any longer, so I had no choice but to continue with the appointment and was charged £150 instead of the NHS fee of £27.50. This was entirely due to their administrative error, yet there was no apology, no willingness to help, and I was simply told I had to pay the private fee. Really poor communication and customer service. Patients shouldn’t be put in this position due to staff mistakes, especially when they’re already in pain and vulnerable.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic practice! I was very nervous about my wisdom tooth extraction and had been referred here by my dentist. My appointment was running bang on time, and the procedure was done very quickly. The nurses were lovely, and the dental surgeon, Mr Shahrak, was amazing. He was welcoming, friendly and put me at ease very quicklyIf I was ever referred here again, I would feel confident in going back.

Negative experience: Beware of a particular female dentist there. I won't mention her name out of common decency, which she lacks. She did two huge fillings on me leaving me with 9 weeks of pain and suffering which led to three root canal treatments. One filling she did, didn't even need doing and there was no evidence it ever needed doing after review. She also didn't document any notes on it mysteriously, but charged me £220 for it. After I complained, she rang me twice from her mobile phone and recorded the call without telling me. Avoid avoid at all costs. Very unprofessional. The staff are very friendly, but do not trust what dentists say with getting further opinions first. They shove a tablet in front of your face and ask you to sign without explaining all the small print first. Then you don't have a leg to stand on afterwards. The dentist admitted later that she got confused and got my right and lefts side of my mouth mixed up. They also refunded both fillings, but contradictorily didn't want to admit any fault or wrongdoing. If this review can warn others and stop someone else from going through the same pain and suffering, then I'm pleased with that at least. Be very cautious with dentists. I think most earn commission and it's all money-making for them and the practice.

Fantastic experience: Went to the Dentist today for the first time in years. I usually find it an intimidating experience and so have avoided going. I was seen by George who was absolutely faultless. He put me at ease immediately and was so warm and friendly. I got a thorough examination and very helpful explanation throughout. I can’t recommend Faulkner House Dentist enough!

Negative experience: My first review of Falkner house was 4years ago and I was happy with the service. However my recent experience this year and the treatment of my son has changed my view. Constant mistakes repeatedly has left my ASD, ADHD diagnosed child in Agony with no help from the practice. Finally offered a much needed extraction after months but would have to leave a GCSE exam early in order to make the appointment. Due to the severe pain we agreed, in the home it would benefit the rest of his exams. On arrival we were left waiting for ages and then told they had made a mistake and after reviewing his details and due to the ASD they would not remove the tooth. 2 referrals wrongly done and I get a call today to say yet again Referral was rejected as they hadn't provided what was needed and could I take my son in for an x-ray. Had to explain he's been admitted to hospital due to the pain and a serious infection that when I called begging for help they refused too because there were no NHS dentists in on that day only private. Regardless of my sons situation they still refused to help. While in hospital he had a seizure. They put it down to the stress and pain he had been left in for so long. Further complaints will be made and I hope no one else has to experience what we have with half hearted apologies from receptionists only.

Fantastic experience: After having an awfull experience over the last few years with my prior nhs dentist and being emotionally downtrodden by the practice manager with painfull filling after not receiving anoththetic due to bad advise from dentist and rude reception, This practice at falkner house was an absolute dream very poligjt reception very nice dentist acomodating my 20 month old son due to child care issue. going to the dentist was actull a gd experience rather than fear and dread I had with my old practice for many years. This practice at falkner house was clean and tidy and very acomodating even taking the time to help me read my new patient forms due to dyslexia. Look forward to a new start with this practice and regular check ups

Fantastic experience: Wow just wow I attended Falkner house for a tooth extraction 17/6/25 and what a amazing place all staff were polite and lovely and the dentist who actually removed the tooth was brilliant she talked me through everything and made me feel at ease and the whole thing was soon over I definitely couldn't have any better treatment. Negative experience: Appointment scheduled for 2.45 originally. One hour and a half later…still waiting. Not good communication from receptionist. Dissapointed.

Fantastic experience: I had a broken tooth a few weeks ago and it was glued whilst I contemplated options. Having decided to have an extraction and the tooth added to my plate I then got an infection before this could happen. Simaab saw me yesterday when I popped in for antibiotics and I left 15 minutes later - no tooth, no infection and no pain. I will get a tooth added to plate in a couple of weeks. Fantastic experience: I have been with Falkner Dentistry since 2017 and have had to have a lot of treatment over the years, today 26/02/2025 I see my usual dentist, Dr Simaab, for further treatment. I have found that having the same dentist is a relief as I am an anxious person when it comes to the dentist, but over years this has subsided thanks to Dr Simaab's understanding and patience thank you. I have found that all the staff are very polite and helpful and I would reccomend Falkner Dentistry to anyone who is looking for an excellent Dentistry service.

Negative experience: The people and dentists are amazing ….. however since the new surgery has opened some 2 year ago I think they have done nothing to address the entrance exit ramp….. I would question if It’s legal??? I’ve spoken numerous times to the manager and staff and still nothing ….. I have to bounce my wheelchair up it which is very dangerous …. I know others have had issues …. Please please fix this …. I hate to say this but if this issue affected the majority of people it would have been sorted however it doesn’t ….. all It needs is some cement ….. thank you …..

Negative experience: Went to Falkner house over a year ago - The staff there were ever so rude and during check up continued to make me feel like I had awful dental hygiene. I used to get my teeth checked and cleaned every six months. When I went last, they had told me I needed 5 fillings at £200 a tooth ( I only wanted white) A year later I move away and decide it’s time to stop putting off getting my fillings done and decided to register at my new local dentist. Just come out of my check up. My teeth are absolutely fine. She said I had one tooth that is starting to show decay and it would be advised for a filling. When I asked ‘ do not need 5 fillings? ‘ she was shocked and wanted to know why I thought that. Well that was Falkner House. Been putting off the dentist for a year for no reason! Side note, same thing happened to my mother - she had a £1000 quote for needing treatments, she left for Linton. No works was required. I’m just mad I only found this out today also!

Negative experience: Disgusting customer service from a certain doctor, representing the place to an awful standard and spoke as if hes above everyone else and had some nasty comments to say. Don't recommend going to this place if you don't want a doctor dehumanizing you

Fantastic experience: Had appointment as broke tooth. Appointment was on-time and said extraction needed. Did it there and then. Explained everything and virtually no pain. Told me about aftercare and felt well looked after by Dr Simaab and her assistant.

She was aware of my needle phobia and her and the dental nurse Marieta were so good with me as I was very stressed out while having the sedation. Staff are rude and don’t know to fully sign prescriptions, discriminative over DISABLED PATIENTS, wouls not go here unless your stuck up and like rude people….practice manager also shoves people out the door and dentist don’t actually dont know how much of things to prescribe people, could be VERY DANGEROUS!

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Falkner house by my own dentist to have a difficult extraction. The procedure went very smoothly and I was on my way home in less than 15mins. An excellent professional service from start to finish. Everything clearly explained. The only "pain" I experienced was the traffic congestion from the M11!.

Very friendly professional staff front of house my dentist was very thorough and knowledgeable. The hygienist did an amazing job and the whole experience justified my decision to leave my old dentist and join this one. 10/10

Fantastic experience: I visited the surgery for an emergency app and saw Rosanne. I had been in pain for quite a long time and my usual dentist had said to wait and see what happens. Rosanne said the tooth was in need of removal, she carried out the extraction there and then, absolutely brilliant service and care, one week later and I can honestly say I have not had to take a single pain killer, would never have known a large back tooth with a crown had been removed and am out of pain for the first time in well over a year. Fabulous reception lady who made me the appointment, polite, kind and helpful too. I thank the receptionist and the super dentist for an amazing service. Thank you Faulkner House Surgery

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Faulkner house for a complex dental extraction via my dental practice. Today, I was greeted by oral surgeon Dr Shemma and her dental nurse. As a nervous patient she walked me through the procedure and what it entailed and assured me everything was going to be OK. Because I hadn't eaten and have a heart condition she gave me a dextrose drink which helped. I can't thank her enough and the dental nurse for holding my hand through the whole procedure. I was shown nothing but kindness. The quality and skills this practice and there staff uphold in providing a service for there patients is amazing. Again thank you so much Dr Shemma and her dental nurse. Unfortunately I didn't get her name.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to the practice to have a wisdom tooth removed. I had two appointments where the staff where lovely and took time to explain what was happening and why. The actual extraction was excellent with the dentist taking time to ensure I was properly anethsatised and then that I understood the required after care.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic. I was referred here from Addenbrookes for an extraction that couldn't be done through my own dentists in Ely. I was contacted by the practice and a date and time was suggested, which suited me.So a couple of days before my appointment I got a text asking that I fill out the attached health forms prior to my attendance, which I did. So on the morning, in trepidation, we drove over to Sawston and I attended the practice on time. I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist and had literally just sat down when I was called through. My designated dentist and nurse were nothing short of brilliant, friendly and caring. Any fears I may have had were soon deflated by both the dentist and nurse with their friendly manner which put me at ease. We went through my teeth history and why I was referred across to them in the first instance and the dentist explained very precisely what she was going to do and so we got on with it. Two lots of numbing juice was administered and then we waited 10mins for it to take affect and then it was time to say a fond farewell to my tooth. It was emotional considering myself and tooth had been together for 63yrs but it really was time to say goodbye and so less than 10 mins later, we parted ways. After a few stitches to the cavity left behind by my now dear departed tooth, I was advised of what to do post-surgery and was left to go. After a chat with another very friendly and helpful member of staff at the front-desk and a very pleasant cheerio, I went. I cannot find any faults with the practice nor any of the staff and so now, 2 days after my extraction, I have no swelling and very little pain. Usually we all hate visiting the dentist but to be honest, I had such a great experience that it really was a pleasure being there. I wouldn't hesitate to go back there for treatment, NHS or Private. Very impressed.

Fantastic experience: Faulkner house dentistry is a bright and modern place. I had a wisdom tooth removed yesterday morning by mr Arash Zaker Shahrak a brilliant surgeon. The procedure was totally painless and efficient. The atmosphere was relaxed and the surgeon gave good information before and after surgery. He was helped by 2 fantastic assistants Marieta and Olya. From my first call to arrange my consultation, through to being discharged, I was put at ease and genuinely felt like they had all the time in the world to make the experience as comfortable as possible for me. Fantastic experience: There was miscommunication with my toddler's routine appointment but they still accommodated us the same day and time as we were initially booked. We have been going with Falkner Sawston for 6 years and all this time I can't fault any of them. Everyone is amazing

Fantastic experience: At today's appointment I wore the new dark protective glasses for the first time and mentioned to the dental hygienist how much I liked them. She replied that there is divided opinion on them from patients, hence my writing - personally I like escaping the glare of the light and I think they help me relax. Since joining this practice I have been very happy with the quality of treatment, so thank you.

Negative experience: Unorganised. Been to so many appts and never been seen on time or had an apology for the lack of time keeping. The last appt I had I took time off work and 10 minutes before my appt they rang to say the reception had booked the wrong dentist so I couldn’t be seen. I asked to speak to management and I am still waiting for a call back. There seems to only be appts for private patients and not nhs. Waiting for months simply isn’t on. If I pay nhs or not shouldn’t depend on the type of service I receive. I am still entitled to treatment. Receptionists have been ok but while waiting spend most time discussing their private lives which isn’t professional. A simple how are you would be nice. Instead of who the latest person in the practise with a issue is. I have been private before at a different dentist and wouldn’t pay the extra to come to this practise.

Fantastic experience: First rate service. The receptionist was so kind and understanding and got me an emergency appointment for a 2nd time after a difficult journey to the practise. Simaab was lovely. She put my mind at rest and explained what she was doing throughout the proceedure. Thank you, I'm now pain free.

Negative experience: I wanted new dentures and requested a flexi-denture by going private. After 5 sitting the practice could not give me a working denture and asked me to get an appointment with an Orthodentist and pay more for that appointment. The denture they designed was extremely painful and they blamed the lab! When I complailed they said this is the best they could offer. When I shared my experiecne on the Nextdoor app, I realised others had similar experience.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend this dental practice, in particular Khush. I had a TCO consultation with Khush who took the time to go through my treatment plan with me, and also carried out a free 3D scan. Her professionalism is like no other, she was always quick to respond to my emails with any questions I had and made me feel so comfortable throughout my journey. Going to the dentist can be such a daunting experience, but dealing with Khush and her infectious personality has allowed me to enjoy the experience.

After being shrugged off by other dentists who did not take her fear seriously (probably due to her age) my mother began to loose faith and her dental health suffered as a result. After chatting with a friend, I was recommended Falkner House Dentistry and to ask for Khush. I’m so glad that I did! Khush was kind, warm and understanding from the start. Fantastic experience: I attended the practice for my first ever filling. Not knowing what to expect I was warmly greeted my Khush who made me feel at home. The procedure was explained in depth by Rozanne who then carried this out diligently. Throughout the procedure both Khush and Rozanne were constantly checking I was comfortable allowing me to take breaks when needed. Both the dentist and dental nurse worked effectively to minimise the discomfort and ensure the filling was carried out as quickly as possible. Visually there is no difference to my teeth and has really helped my confidence with my smile.

Negative experience: I sent a letter as requested detailing the issues of what had happened and trauma that had been caused to me by your dentist and instead of dealing with the issues everything was denied and I was asked not to return to your practice.
