Fantastic experience: Ben is an excellent dentist. Always fully explains the options and happy to discuss treatment plans. The entire staff make attending Surrey Dental Spa a really positive experience. They were also excellent with my children when they were younger and later were understanding when they had to make appointments to fit around university in other areas. Recommended them to my Mum, who is very nervous of dentists, when she moved into the area and she’s been very satisfied with their service too. Would recommend 100% for a stress free experience.

Fantastic experience: I’ve never been a great fan of going to the dentist, but after an accident earlier this year I had no choice. Since then, I’ve been to the surgery several times with no worries at all. I’ve had various treatments, and the whole team—from the reception staff to the assistants and Nick the dentist—have been fantastic throughout. Any concerns I previously had are now completely gone.

Fantastic experience: I have used this dentist for years. Each and everytime I enter the receptionists are always polite, attentive, understanding. They are amazing to work with whether in person or over the phone. A pleasure to book with. I been with a few dentists there, all of which had been fantastic. Easy to talk to, professional, run everything through thoroughly. I always leave there confident in knowing my teeth are healthy or if there is an issue, I am certain Im in good hands that they will effortlessly guide me to a solution. If you need a great dentist, look no further.

Negative experience: Very rude lady on the reception phone. Wouldn’t let me complete my sentence. Only wanted to book a hygienist however she wouldn’t even let me complete what I needed. I don’t understand how businesses like these prosper. She kept talking about implants - where I got them? Why not go back where I got them? Strange. Had to dial up another dental place and get help from there.

They take the time to clearly explain the options and articulate costs and I never felt pressured to spend more than I could afford. Costs have in fact been very reasonable. The NHS dental services are excellent, and the private hygienist is fantastic—always thorough and professional. The entire team is warm and welcoming, especially the reception staff, who greet everyone with a smile and make visits a pleasure. Makes a huge difference and even on the busiest of days they are just so helpful and genuine. Every dentist I have met has the same level of care and service. Negative experience: Not an enjoyable experience with the hygienist. Was actually painful which never experienced before, too much talking throughout which wasn’t required. Edging on comical when I was asked to hold the air pipe, the glasses were dirty. Ever since Joanne left, it’s not been the same, the quality of the service, the actual clean is lacking the meticulous detail and care she always delivered. The cost of £75 has considerably increased and isn’t the value of the service.

Fantastic experience: I recently took my two children to this dentist under NHS, and overall, it was a positive experience. The dentist dedicated ample time examining their teeth and offered valuable advice. Although attempting an x-ray proved challenging with my son, the dentist persisted. Convenient parking was available, and the receptionist was exceptionally friendly. While I no longer go for regular hygiene cleaning due to increased prices, the hygienist is skilled and thorough. I highly recommend this dental practice for various treatments.

Fantastic experience: Attended my usual dental check up today. Didn't have to wait too long as I got there a bit early so sat in the warm, comfortable waiting area before being called for my appointment.

I have always had problems in the past with my teeth and never was able to trust anyone with my teeth but the staff at Surrey Dental Spa are simply amazing, I first saw Gaelle, who actually cared about me and provided an honest solution to my dental problems. A very big special mention to Ben Riley for being the most amazing, patient and kind dentist to my son especially when it was my son's first tooth extraction. He was calm, patient and just so good with my little boy I don't think I have ever met any dentist this kind towards children. He explained all the steps in the previous appt too, he took time to explain to my son what he was doing each step of the way. He has also seen me previously when I was worried about my tooth and was in pain and he sorted everything out with utmost professionalism and patience and it shows he has a kind heart too. He is an absolute credit to Surrey Dental Spa. I also would like to thank Tracey and Laura on reception as they are always very helpful and efficient and great at dealing with all sorts of patients! My family see different dentists at the practice currently and all of us are extremely happy with the work they have carried out and their bedside manner are nonpareil. With regards to the reception staff; they are polite, kind and always greet you with a smile an absolute credit to the practice. Fantastic experience: My wife and I was recommended by friends Surrey Dental Spa as my wife needed urgent treatment and I had ongoing problems. All the staff at the practice were friendly and very helpful, they understood that we were both nervous when attending a dentist. Ben was caring, gentle and answered all our questions on both appointments. My wife had treatment for a filling and I had a dental check up. We both feel really confident of advice given and future treatment to follow. We cannot praise the staff and dentist enough, and have no hesitation in recommending this dental practice.

She has a fantastic memory for personal details and her caring attitude is reassuring - especially for someone like me, who is borderline PTSD from the experience of dentistry in the 1970s! Tracey at Reception is also very cheerful and reassuring. This is so important in the experience of dentistry. Ben Riley, my dentist is ALSO very cheerful and reassuring. The entire experience is a world away from my memories of going to a dentist and I am entirely relaxed every time I visit. Izzy shared so much advice with me and explained things about why my teeth are the way they are that no other dentist to this point has informed me of. Dr Gaelle made a first class job and resolved my problem very effectively. I have been at Surrey Dental Spa for years; they are very competent and professional, providing the best dental work I have ever experienced. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: An update to my review 30.09.22 After recently having major heart surgery I visited the dentist today with trepidation and saw Isobelle . Naturally I was apprehensive but Isobelle put me at ease straight away. My dentures had become uncomfortable through slight movement of my own teeth and my gums were sore where they were rubbing. To such an extent that I had stopped wearing my bottom set. I didn’t realise Surrey Dental Spa were able to make minor adjustments in house. Isobelle set to and adjusted both upper and lower dentures making them really comfortable and putting a great big smile on my face. Isobelle I can’t thank you enough. THANKYOU !! I can’t thank Nick enough for the help and support he has given me - the dentures he created for me are better in looks than my originals and colour wise they blend in perfectly with the few I have left. They are such a perfect fit and so comfortable I forget I have them in. I also want to say a big THANKYOU to Laura on reception who is so welcoming and professional - her smile and demeanour puts you at ease on arrival. I have been with SDS some years now - during that time I have received top professional care and treatment. The dentistry is second to none and the reception staff are the best. The premises are very clean and well appointed as you would expected giving an ambience which is calming and relaxing. For that and the personal care and attention I receive I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I have never been to such a great dentist. All the staff are friendly and put you at ease. They take their time to do their job thoroughly, and have never had such a thorough check up or clean in my life. They listen to you regarding any issues you may have, and do everything they can explaining everything along the way. They present you with treatment options to suit the dentistry required as well as the affordability and give their honest opinion and back it up with reasons why. The only dentist I totally trust. My last dentist wanted to pull out two of my teeth due to gum absesses/issues and said there was nothing they could do, but since changing to this dentist, I kept my teeth as there was nothing wrong with them and I have had no issues with my gums since, as I have taken the advice given, I have recommended to everyone I know!

Fantastic experience: I have been with Surrey Dental Spa since 2008, recommended by a friend. For various reasons I hadn't been to the dentist for almost 2 decades and was an exceptionally nervous patient, I had to bring my friend to hold my hand! My dentists over the years, Andy, Nick and Ben have been excellent and managed through my various concerns, and thanks to them my 14 year old has no qualms when he needs a check up. A root canal, a few crowns and fillings, plus many visits with the hygienist later, it is safe to say I am now over my fears and can only but highly recommend Surrey Dental Spa. The front of house team is wonderful (especially Laura) and the team generally is supportive, professional, and flexible. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you all
