Fantastic experience: I recently took my mother to Village Dental Practice after a family recommendation, and I have to say—it was absolutely worth the 50-minute drive each way. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly polite, welcoming, and professional. The practice itself was spotless and easy to access, making the whole experience stress-free. Maia, in particular, was amazing. She made my mother feel completely at ease, taking the time to explain every step thoroughly and with genuine care. This gave my mother the confidence to ask further questions, which were answered with patience and clarity. My mother had an X-ray and two tooth extractions, all completed within an hour. As someone with both a heart condition and diabetes, we were naturally a little anxious, but the team handled everything with exceptional care and attention, ensuring her safety and comfort throughout. After searching through many dental practices that seemed more focused on money than patient wellbeing, it was a relief to find Village Dental Practice. Their focus on care over profit truly stood out. We’ll definitely be returning for ongoing dental treatment. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a dentist who genuinely puts the patient first.

Positive experience: This is a very friendly practice; my only little niggle was that I was only booked for a 30 minute session for my first hygienist appointment. Ruth the Hygeinst was rushed during it and could not do all she wanted to do in the time allocated and said that I should have been given a 45 minute appointment. This means I now need to go back again for her to complete the work she wanted to do.

Positive experience: I visited for my regular dentist & hygienist visit, but the hygienist found a filling loose. I was relieved to find they could fit me in the next day to replace the filling as I was about to go on a major holiday and didn't like the idea that the filling might fall out.

I think I didn't go to my old one cause I didn't feel comfortable there and I thought they charged too much. I was very happy to find out the The Village Dental Practice had lower prices, and I also really like the people there. Dr Gemma talked me through everything and made sure I was comfortable, even when I had to come back for two fillings. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Shanil did a brilliant job of the repair, despite the poor access to the tooth. The interdental space ended up tighter, which I was very pleased with as it had been a source of discomfort and food trapping for some time. Many thanks for a great job.

Fantastic experience: Considering I hate going to the dentist, the whole experience is easy and straightforward and as stress free as it possibly could be! The staff are friendly and my dentist is lovely. She is so gentle and patient, but also informative and I have learned how to look after my teeth properly, which I am really pleased about.

Fantastic experience: I had a front crown fall out at breakfast time, so I phoned up for an emergency appointment and I was given 2pm appointment. Something came up during the day so I popped in at about 12pm to see if we could shift the appointment to another day or time. Somehow Krini managed to fit me in there and then. Fantastic experience: I recently switched to this dental practice and cannot rate it highly enough. The all round experience is excellent from the moment you walk in and are greeted at reception. Dr Patel highlighted areas that had been missed by my previous dentist and would have resulted in serious problems without intervention. Effie and Sandra performed a thorough examination and explained my treatment plan clearly and in a really comforting manner. I would highly recommend this dental practice!

An appointment was hastily arranged and I met the front desk reception team who are very personable and friendly and made me feel at home to then the brilliant dentist and her nurse who put me at ease explained what needed to be done really clearly gave me time to ask questions and then suggested a plan for addressing things which I was really happy with and have booked to follow up on. Pertinent health issues are captured ahead of your visit and you are shown what will happen when you turn up at the practice. Fantastic experience: I had a loose tooth during the lockdown, and there were no dentists in my area that were open, and those that were only did prescriptions for antibiotics. Luckily my wife’s friend knew Lorraine the practice manager at The Village Dental Practice in Great Missenden, who was extremely helpful, and arranged an appointment for the very next day. I had a telephone discussion with Hannah Strang, a dentist, who went through my predicament, and arranged an appointment the very next day. The practice was fully geared up for all the necessary precautions for Covid 19. I was put at ease from the start, having my temperature taken before I entered, and hand sanitiser and mask provided on entry, although I had my own mask. Hannah and her assistant were extremely polite, and put me at ease immediately. They removed the tooth very efficiently, and at no time did I feel the slightest bit nervous !! What a fantastic experience if it could be called that !! I have no hesitation in highly recommending The Village Dental Practice and ALL the staff for their courtesy and professionalism, and will certainly return in the future for any dental treatment.
