Fantastic experience: Went to dentist on Friday at Charlton Rd Dental for an extraction. Rob is my dentist and issie was his assistant. Absolutely great care and service from rob and talked me through the whole procedure, explaining all scenarios! Really good work and I could not be happier with his skills and service. Issie was amazing in her position also and talked to me through the procedure and helped keep me calm! It was daunting thinking about it, but this team were so good that I knew I was in good hands. Negative experience: DO NOT TRUST! £325 for a filling! Plus £110 paid as a new patient. Plus £60 for 3 ex Ray's. Disgustingly over priced. Intentionally not told of costs till after treatment! Utterly outrageous that company's are allowed to conduct themselves in such a duplicitous and exploitative manner. My gum has since been inflamed and causing considerable pain under the tooth you treated! Your response is nothing more than a lie, an insult and shameless lip service. Not once was a single price given to me or any plan over 3 visits. By your own admission you are incapable of following your own code of practise. I wish to escalate my complaints to their fullest extent. I request you post your complaints procedure to me forth with. I unequivocally asked for a filling or an extraction, after which your dentist advised root canal, that I refused, he then flattened my tooth (in preparation). Suddenly he then 'advises' me I need a gold crown! I again refused Now I know why the tooth was prepared in such a manner. Outrageous profiteering. Let me guess. 'Lessons will be learned and adequate steps will be taken to ensure this does not happen again'. I wonder if this is your response to all the victims you con and hoodwink. Incorrect. When asked if I had a email I 'wanted to give'. I said no and you can see why. Rightly zero trust in you! I see your managers moral compass has little true bearing as well if your word is to be taken as truth. I have stipulated the chosen and only medium of which I wish to converse with you, irrefutable written word.

Fantastic experience: Came in for teeth whitening, had done a bit of shopping around before hand found them to be very reasonably priced and offered time slots in the evening. I was able to come after work which is so so useful. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful upon arrival. The dentist Katie talked me through all the various options available and which was the most suitable for my situation. I felt very confident in Katies ability and so went with what she suggested and im very pleased to report I left with some nice sparkling white teeth. Far exceeded my expectations, can't rate highly enough.

I’ve been coming here again for the last 18 months, but I actually used to visit as a kid over 25 years ago — and it’s just as fantastic as I remember. The reception team are always welcoming, cheerful, and genuinely caring, which makes such a difference when you’re feeling a bit nervous. The dentists are brilliant too: professional, incredibly informative, and the whole place is spotless and modern. I have to give a special shout-out to Simon (Dentist). If you’re a bit of a nervous patient like me, Simon is amazing at making you feel calm and relaxed. I’ve had some pretty deep work done and he made it feel like a breeze — completely painless and stress-free. There’s no pushy sales talk, no judgement, just honest, kind people who genuinely care about your dental health. Honestly, the best dentist around. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I found that I needed implants after exhausting most of the other treatments , crowns, bridges etc. Cost of course is a factor but when I went for a free consultation it was explained that there are all types of ways to pay so there should be a plan available to suit all pockets .Implants do not happen in a single session and can/will take some months to complete so you pay 'a bit at a time'.I can hear the readers saying that implants are cheaper abroad and so they are. The problem is that Charlton road surgery is just down the road and 'abroad' could be hours on a plane and with the Charlton road surgery you will be seen the same day should a problem arise so do consider this when you are thinking of rushing off to Europe to have your teeth 'fixed'. The actual procedure was quite painless done in a relaxed manner, and yes I did not feel a thing !! All of this is due to Simon and his team who ensure that you are talked through the whole procedure as it is happening .Ask any question, raise any fear and it will be all explained to you and reassure you.There is honestly no pain and little discomfort. Follow up calls the next day ensure that you are thought of and cared for . Am I glad I had implants ? yes indeed .Yes they are not cheap in the short term but look after them and you can say goodbye to dentures , crowns, bridges and the like for many, many years . Did I get paid for writing this ? Not a penny !! It is all my own experiences at Charlton Road Dental clinic and I thoroughly recommend treatment here for dental implants and general dentistry . Now 2025... and more implants needed so is the Practice still as good as I rated them a few years back?.When you know all the staff by first names then a practice can get complacent and corners might get cut.....Yesterday (12/6/2025) it was the first step to another implant with tooth removal and the plan for the implants set up....well, Simon is still as good as he has always been as the tooth was removed in quick time with no pain and no fuss and the most excellent dental nurse was there as part of the very efficient duo and there were no short cuts, no missing things out ..excellent advice given for any possible post /pre implant probems and a phone number provide to call at any time.7 years ago it was all first class....7 years down the line it is still just as good ..they relax you, explain it all and ensure that you leave feeling good, happy and confident ..what more could you ask for ?

Fantastic experience: I visited this Charlton Road Dental after having a recent bad experience at another dental practice. Charlton Road was recommended to me by a friend I am so happy with the service I received right from the initial phone call, through to the appointment with one of the lovely dentists Robert Snelling. Robert gave me detailed information about next steps needed. And remained empathetic throughout. The reception team were helpful and friendly too! I look forward to going back. Fantastic experience: I received a wonderful hygienist appointment from Kristina last week. She is very thorough but very gentle. I have very sensitive gums and I didn’t feel a thing! Highly recommend her. Although , it’s very difficult to get an appointment as she is the only hygienist at Charlton Road! I was lucky to be offered a cancellation as it was going to be November before I could see her! I understand it’s tremendously difficult to find another one, but I would imagine she’s under a lot of pressure!! Hopefully they will find someone soon! I have now booked 6months ahead, fingers crossed she’ll still be there!

Fantastic experience: I had a hygienist appointment today with Cristina and Sydney, and as always, they were fantastic. Friendly, professional, and incredibly thorough. Cristina took the time to explain everything clearly, including the correct way to brush and floss, which I always need reminding of ‍♀️ Unfortunately, I didn’t have childcare, so I had to bring my little boy along with me. They couldn’t have been more understanding, and they gave him a sticker, which he loved! I always leave feeling like my teeth are brand new and more motivated to take good care of them. Thank you both for another great visit!

Fantastic experience: All staff - receptionists, dental assistants, hygienist and dentists are brilliant. Attention and care are of a very high standard, you are always made to feel very special. Plenty of information is given about how to look after your teeth. The only criticism I have is there are usually quite long wait times - appointments are often 15 to 20 minutes after the given time.

Massive thanks to Chris, the dentist and Tom, the nurse who were looking after me. They were fantastic. I have never had such a lovely dentist, Chris made me feel so at ease and reassured. I had the most painless and stress free tooth extraction ever and I am a huge baby when it’s comes to things like that!! Positive experience: 29 June 2025 Dental Hygienist appointment with Christina. Christina is an excellent hygienist who is very pleasant and extremely good at what she does. I am very committed to Charlton Road Dental, but would challenge the £95 cost for what amounts to a session lasting 15-20 minutes.This does not encourage adherence to the recommended six monthly hygiene check up. However… I would still highly recommend Charlton Dental, which is an extremely professional set up that keeps up with the latest technology, and practises. All the employees are extremely well trained, friendly, helpful and well presented. —————————————————————— I just had my last session in a long run of absolutely brilliant dental treatment... Which started with my dentist detecting a serious problem in my face cavity, causing a strange bacteria to eat away at my jaw bone. After quite a lot of work, an operation two years ago, followed by a bone transplant back at Charlton Road: I’ve just had the last of 6 Dental Implants fitted. A mouth full of teeth again! Fantastic! At no point did I every feel tense, uneasy, or suffer pain (I prefer this treatment to having a filling). A fantastic team of Dental Surgeons, Dental Nurses and Reception Staff. I cannot praise Charlton Road Dental enough. Thank You very much. John Fricker

Fantastic experience: I have an acute fear of dentists from childhood experiences, the practise acknowledges this fear and always listen to my concerns. I can't say that I have overcome the fear but they always go out of their way to alleviate it for me . The receptionists are always friendly and helpful as well.

Fantastic experience: Having recently registered with Charlton Road Dental in Keynsham, I just had my first hygienist appointment and was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel at ease. My hygienist was exceptionally gentle and genuinely listened to all my concerns, which was very reassuring. While NHS dental options are limited for new patients in the area, if you're looking for a great private alternative, I would highly recommend Charlton Road Dental. As an added bonus for families, they also have toys for kids, making it a more comfortable experience for everyone.

I have to say, in my 56 years of living this is the best dental practice I've been to. Due to the work I had done I saw two dentists, Simon & Rob, both made me feel totally relaxed and kept me well informed. I would highly recommend the Practice. Fantastic experience: I have been terrified of dentists for many many years, and when I was told I would have to go before starting treatment, I was absolutely petrified. I needn't have been. From my initial contact with reception, who were amazing, to my initial consultation with Chris, to having to put poor Simon through a mammoth task of removing 2 teeth, the staff at Chartlon Road Dentists were superb. They put me at my ease straightaway, they calmed me and were so, so gentle. Their after care was excellent, with Simon calling me twice to make sure I was ok, they were brilliant. I cannot recommend this surgery enough. Wonderful staff!

From the very first appointment I was impressed with the care and attention I received from everyone - from the ladies at reception to the dentists who saw me. Initially I was seen by Robert Snelling who was very kind and considerate. As my case progressed, he referred me to Francesca Norton, who was also great. Finally it was Simon Ernst who took me on and really helped ease my quite high dental anxiety. He was very understanding, gave me the time and space I needed and answered all my questions until, a few appointments later, I was ready to proceed with the treatment. Fantastic experience: Having had my implants for just over a week now, I’m absolutely delighted. It’s a lengthy process starting with X-rays & scans. Inserting the implants was a little uncomfortable but Simon went in to great detail explaining the complete process. I did experience a little bruising but nothing more than advised. What helped was Simon explaining what action he was taking & why at every stage which I found reassuring & gave me complete confidence. Definitely 2 more later this year
