Fantastic experience: It’s the best place to go if you want a top notch dental hygienist .Tracey is highly qualified and experienced .She gives 110 Per cent and is very dedicated and kind Tracey always makes sure to explain exactly what’s going on with teeth or gums . Phil is great dentist too I’ve known them for years .They spend time with you and are very thorough and highly experienced .Recommend them without hesitation.

All staff are friendly and informative without pressuring you to engage with unnecessary treatment; they give you your options, realistic outcomes and let/help you make your choices. Added bonus- staff are gentle! I have quite dry (sometimes sensitive) skin and at no point did I feel like I was being tugged or pressed on uncomfortably.

Alex used the new Airflow method of cleaning, which was pain-free and had really good results. My teeth have never felt so clean!

Fantastic experience: Great as always.

Negative experience: Fantastic orthodontist in Jiten and Phil who runs the place is a legend, but a lack of clarity around fees, an issue with automated notifications, and hidden costs left a sour taste. Great clinical care but front desk team left a lot to be desired.

They noticed this, addressed it, and fix it at their cost of time. Hats off to Iain and the team. A small business you can trust to ensure you are happy is worth its weight in gold for the community. Blackheath has so many great small businesses and this is one of them.

During my examination with Dr. Iain Soulsby, I appreciated the collaborative approach to patient care, where we work together as a team to achieve my dental goals. I felt truly heard; our dialogue was thorough, and we discussed every detail, making me feel like I was conversing with both a highly professional dentist and a friend. This level of care instilled a sense of trust in me. I initially came in for a hygienist appointment, but I had some fears stemming from past experiences—specifically, a negative experience with ultrasonic cleaning of my veneers, for which I had received prior warnings against. However, I was warmly welcomed by Dr. Esther Edwards at the reception (a big thank you to Kelly as well for her support!). She took the time to explain the cleaning process in detail, even illustrating her explanation to clarify the approach for total veneers. Her attentiveness and desire to educate me alleviated my concerns and made me feel confident about the procedure. I now look forward to my hygiene appointment, and I highly recommend Sparklysmile Dental Practice to anyone seeking a compassionate and innovative approach to dentistry. Recently my daughter had braces under the treatment of Dr. Vadukul who is excellent and has made my daughter's alignment and smile absolutely perfect! 100% recommended.

Fantastic experience: SO good, everytime I go everyone makes me feel welcomed and reassured. They discuss all they are doing and give helpful tips on how to continue to care for your teeth.

Negative experience: This year I visited another dentist to check if there was an infection in my root canal filled tooth. They took x-rays and said no. At same practice two other dentists at this practice said that I didn’t have infection after x-rays. In 2014 this dentist wast the first to say I didn’t have an infection after an x-ray. He sold me tooth whitening kit. I sent the X-ray from both dental practices including this one to a holistic dentist. He reviewed the. x-rays and found chronic bacteria infection all the x-rays including this dentist, whose x-ray was taken in 2014. Most British dentist don’t see dental bacteria infection as harmful but in Europe they do, as dental bacteria can cause heart problems, damage the thyroid (like mine). In an A&E unit last week I learnt that I have heart disease. I kept fit, ate organic food, supplemented and have ended up very ill because of dental bacteria. It needn’t have ended this way, if this dentist had been honest. Be very careful of dentists that focus on cosmetic dentistry as they don’t card me about the health of your teeth. And be careful if root canal treatment.

I have had various treatments from an implant to fillings, hygienist visits regularly & whitening procedures, all the team are really nice which makes the bust that much better. Fantastic experience: Dr. Vadukul at SparklySmile is an outstanding orthodontist, providing excellent treatment and carefully listening to the needs and objectives of his patient. I've requested his support as an adult requiring treatment for discomforts resulting from giving up on wearing a retainer for a few years. His approach allowed for an efficient solution, full treatment was completed in under a year, and was completely unnoticeable (I don't think a single person noticed, or at least no one ever mentioned it!). If you are looking for real care and a bespoke treatment, I would 100% recommend his services. It is worth adding that the staff at SparklySmile is also super friendly and accommodating, making sure you get the best possible experience.

Before, I would worry for weeks before an appointment (if I’d made one at all). Now, I almost find myself looking forward to a trip to Sparkly Smile! They are the kindest dentists and hygienists I’ve ever met, very understand of my fears and explain everything they are doing. Fantastic experience: I rarely leave reviews but SparklySmile Dental Practice is absolutely amazing so I had to make an exception. My own dentist recommended Phil because she was reluctant to remove my cracked and chipped 37 year old crown because she was concerned about what was lurking underneath. She also said Phil would do a much better job. Well, what can I say? She was right. My new crown looks so good that I can't stop smiling. I'm over the moon and Phil I can't thank you and your lovely staff enough. My new retainer has just arrived and it's a perfect fit. I loved the sparkly envelope it was sent in, such a nice touch. Phil you clearly go above and beyond and love your profession and therefore deserve a six star rating.
