Fantastic experience: Amazing experience! I cannot recommend Dr Viraj Parmar highly enough. My husband needed an emergency appointment and extraction. He hates dentists and has a number of medical conditions so this was a big thing for him. Dr Viraj knew immediately what his conditions were from the prescription and treated him with the utmost care. His assistant was lovely too but I didn't catch her name, sorry. The after care and follow up was amazing too. Thankyou so much or your expertise and kindness.

Negative experience: I am returning customer. Rang for emergency appointment (£25) Staff looked details and booked. But warned if you miss you will be charged double(£50) Rang again 5 mins later to charge time to be sure. Staff started demanding money up front. I requested that I really need dentist and will pay on arrival. They were refused simply. This is not a DIY store it’s a healthcare setting. It needs more compassion, care, empathy. Dealing people like cash cows is so un called for. I have family dentist with them. Will be changing as soon as I find another one.

Negative experience: I booked my appointment a month ago and even called three times last week to confirm it. Each time I was told everything was set. After driving over an hour and twenty minutes to get there, I was told the appointment had been cancelled — without any call, message, or notice. This was a complete waste of time and very disappointing. Patients deserve better communication. I would suggest people not to go to this dentist they have no communication skills.

Negative experience: Worst dentist I've been, always try to over charge you for services. Said I needed just a couple teeth extracting, after 18 months of waiting for a referral to the hospital the specialist in Manchester said I needed 11, which they would have told me eventually after charging for each tooth. Second time I've left this review, first obviously deleted. They knew I was a nervous patient and never seemed to care, treated me as a guinea pig for new staff to train on me

Fantastic experience: I found Dr Sohail after years of being absolutely petrified of going to the dentist. She is very caring and the only dentist that has ever made me feel comfortable! (and believe me I have seen quite a few) I have had some work done today, she has done an amazing job, I am so happy with the results! The whole team are great, they are very accommodating and helpful and I would definitely recommend especially if you are scared of the dentist!! I really really appreciate you, helping me overcome my fear of going to the dentist and you are never ever allowed to leave or retire! Gemma x

Fantastic experience: I went to Whitworth Dental Care as a new smile care patient and honestly had such a good experience. The dentist, Usman, was really friendly and took the time to talk through everything with me. He explained things much more clearly than my previous dentist and gave me really good advice on how to look after my teeth properly. I felt comfortable the whole time, and the nurse, Hannah, was also really lovely and made me feel at ease. Overall, I’m really happy with the care I received and would definitely recommend Whitworth Dental!

Negative experience: Having booked an emergency appointment where I had to wait 40 minutes past my appointment time to be seen, when all I needed was one filling, but was told I needed a check up first beforehand to which you have to pre pay, after the check up I had to pre pay for the appointment for what I expected to be 1 filling to be subtly hit with a bill for a loads of treatment which I didn’t need 6 times the amount of the bill I was expecting, luckily I seen this and told the receptionist I only wanted one filling to which I pre paid for. On appointment day for my filling I rang to say I was running 5 minutes late, 10 at the absolute most as the road works caused really bad traffic, to be told you’ve lost your place now because “we want to go on our dinner soon” and would have to pay again - considering I waited 40 minutes after my appointment time for my first check up. Shocking customer service, rude staff who try and hit you with unexpected bills and unnecessary treatment, seems like a money making scheme to me. Avoid.

Fantastic experience: Any dentist will tell you that I am a terrible patient! Yet Dr Mehak Sohail has been so good to me. She is patient, kind and gentle. She gives excellent advice and information and explains everything she is doing. A highly professional person and a great dentist

Negative experience: My wife last year attended and the appointment was cancelled that many times they offered a refund. This year went in due to a badly cracked tooth and was given insufficient pain relief and she had to ask them to stop twice whilst putting a packing in and wasn't numbed up properly. They then couldn't do the job and said she would have to go to Manchester! After ten days of checking the action was denied by Manchester so my wife found another dentist in Rochdale which looked at the X rays and got the tooth out on the same day and my wife felt no pain. Whitworth needs a thorough inspection by those that do that role as they are a shambles. Not the first customer to say that they just want the money with little service and not once offered a dental hygienist. Awful service and would never ever recommend. Shameful.

Fantastic experience: I honestly can’t thank and praise Dr Zahra Asad enough as I have been in agonising pain for months, due to a dental issue where I was told it was a sensitive tooth issue only. Without even examining me further through a Xray, Dr Zahra knew which tooth was the issue and why it would be causing me problems I explained in my symptoms. She dealt with the issue over a couple appointments and made sure all my other dental work was up to date to prevent any similar issues. I also wanted to say thank you for the team at reception who are always welcoming and happy to help.

Fantastic experience: Having always been afraid of the dentist my teeth were a mess, but then I met Nav. Thank you so much for giving me back my smile!!! I now travel to see Nav and would not go anywhere else. He is a totally professional is caring and shows compassion as are his colleagues at his practice. I have lived abroad and the south of England but will still always travel to been by what I think is one of best dentistries in the country. Friendly, professional and caring. Positive experience: In 57 years, you are categorically the worst dentist I have ever attended. I will give you one star out of five for your ability to perform dentistry and that’s where it ends. Your customer service, tak and approach is pretty much tantamount to insulting. Remember not everybody on this planet is on the take and people do pay for their services. You are there to serve the public for which you are recompensed, not the other way around, you remind me of many MP’s who are in office today. She was incredibly supportive and empathetic, giving me the opportunity to fully elaborate on my concerns, including previous experiences and the unacceptable behaviour I encountered from one particular dentist. While I stand by my original comments regarding that individual, I also recognise that the actions of one staff member do not necessarily reflect the values or conduct of the entire practice. Carmen, in particular, demonstrated what true customer care should look like—courtesy, respect, clear communication, and genuine empathy. Well done, Carmen. You’ve shown how professionalism and good manners can make a real difference.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr Mohammed Usman Quereshi for my dental treatment for a while now. I've seen other dentist in the past and have had feelings of anxiety and panick attacks or gasping for air. But this is the second dentist so far I really feel at ease with. He is so kind and takes his time to explain things in easy terms. He doesn't make you feel rushed or dismissive. I really do appreciate the service you give. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels that way. Thank you. Please keep it up!

Fantastic experience: I moved to Whitworth Dental from Drake street and the service I've received has been great. I had quite a lot of damage to my teeth from reflux and grinding and my once straight teeth were looking not so great. Dr Mehak Sohail has been amazing and has built my teeth back up and I now have nice teeth again. I was stunned when I saw them! My confidence has been restored. I can't thank her and the nurses enough and also the receptionists for being accommodating with appointments. At every stage of the treatment I have known what is happening and why. By far the best experience and treatment I have had with a dentist. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I wanted to improve my teeth for my wedding this year and Usman has literally transformed my smile! My teeth weren’t straight, they were yellow and I had an old crown that was damaging my lower teeth. I had three crowns and a veneer on the top front 4 teeth and the difference it’s made to my smile, my entire face even is unreal! Usman made sure throughout that I understood each part of the treatment and that I was comfortable. He is very much a perfectionist and the results show! Thanks so much Usman!!

Fantastic experience: As a person who dreads visiting the dentist (1970's Baillie Street experience has left a lasting fright), I just needed to mention the absolutely pain-free, professional and efficient tooth extraction made by Dr Mehak Sohail. There was only a tiny part of the tooth left visible above the gumline as most sides of the tooth had broken off. With adept speed and a lack of fuss, she quickly whipped the tooth out and I had to ask her, had she done. When I went out to my wife waiting in the waiting area, she said "Could they not do it" as I was literally in and out within minutes. Totally recommended 100%.

Negative experience: The doctor I went was female & she has really bad communication problem. She checked my teeth but didn't mention the whole problem because my main problem was about wisdom teeth. She did x-ray but didn't show my whole x-ray report for my back teeth. Sometime wisdom teeth has horizontal position which can causes problem later on when it started grow & I did x-ray before in that time I got to know I had that problem but she didn't mention anything about it also after cleaning my teeth she didn't even offer me to clean my mouth with water atleast! as I had blood in my mouth so I had to ask for it. As I have lower gum line she didn't tell me how I can fix my gum or what can I do about it after the teeth cleaning. All she said brush your teeth what actually everyone knows it's a common sense of course! She actually doesn't know how to communicate with patience properly, it's like she doesn't have any interpersonal skill. I am very disappointed also suffering in pain because of my gums.

Fantastic experience: Shahzad Tahir is a great doctor! I thank him for 2 teeth pulled out! I am writting again about this clinic.The preventive measures are very important. I received letter from doctor Shahzad Tahir. He invited me for сheckup, because I was in clinic 6 months ago. I didn't feel any problem, but I went. Doctor Shahzad Tahir found 2 big wholes in my teeth. It was very hard work. Doctor Shanaz Khan drilled very hard and she was tired, doctor Shahzad Tahir replaced her in a time, Alia Khan helped them. My teeth are all right now. I thank this team of great British specialists! I write again . Dr. Viral Parmar and his assistant Aliza Amin excellent treated me. It was a royal service.

Fantastic experience: Today I had an appointment with Navid and unfortunately due to anxieties I had a panic attack and had to leave. The receptionist staff were lovely in understanding and i received a very reassuring phone call off Joanna explaining I could come back to the practice and both her and Navid would support me to make me feel comfortable. I couldn’t recommend Navid enough for being so patient with me and Joanna for being so supportive, it really helped to calm me down.

Fantastic experience: So pleased I phoned Whitworh Dental Care a few months ago. At the time they said they weren't taking on NHS patients. Ashamedly I hadn't been to a dentist in over 20years, so thought that was that.A short time later they contacted me to say they were now taking NHS patients on. A few weeks later got my first appointment, just an inspection , but today had two fillings, an in depth cleaning, and an xray. Next week two more fillings. Now if that's not an excellent service, don't know what is. A huge thanks to all the staff on reception, to the dentist, Mehak Sohail, and her assistant Elise, you've made an old man very happy. Fantastic experience: I’ve reviewed this practice previously. Over the last few months I’ve been seeing a young dentist calledBen. Absolutely first class. He’s a great technician. He explains everything very clearly. And perhaps most importantly he puts me completely at ease. Given Im Nearly 70 and have had a life long mild phobia about visiting the dentist this is no mean feat. Just today had a crown fitted. Perfect preparation and fitting. Bens dental nurse , Alex, is also excellent. I don’t know how the two senior partners do it, but they recruit and no doubt train up superb young dentists. Finally the young ladies on reception are most pleasant and very efficient. It’s truly a first class practice!

He was so calming and patient with her he took his Time to help her feel and ease and by doing so she had trust in him a potentially traumatic experience made easier. Fantastic experience: Really pleased with this dentist. Had a wisdom tooth removal from NHS dentist and wanted to do a filling to the tooth nearby. My dentist Zahra Asad was fantastic. She did an amazing job with that tooth since it was a difficult place to get in to .she took her time and reassured me all the time. The place is a bit far but was worth the drive and time. I think if I had gone to the NHS dentist I would've lost that tooth !!

She has been an Angel, Very very Professional, Explained my Treatment of Extracting my Teeth, Referred me to have my Teeth Extracted and took impressions for myself to have Dentures, I was pretty nervous on first meeting her, though she has put me at ease and my confidence has beamed since having my dentures.... Miss Victoria Black is a credit to the Dental Profession, and thanks to her my smiles have been contagious.

Fantastic experience: Well, where to begin, being a child of the sixties when dentistry was shall I say so much different from today, patience was something lacking and oh that mask when you were being put to sleep!!! This has caused me to have a real phobia and with a very bad gag reflex to add to the mix has meant for me having to have I.V sedation for any kind of treatment, as soon as I made an appointment due to being so scared I'd have days of an upset stomach, blood pressure at stroke level, and needing to rely on someone to attend appointments with me was a nightmare, not forgetting the extra cost on top for sedation and lost wages. Well after my appointment last Friday where for the first time in 59 years I was able to have two fillings and a clean while I was actually aware of what was going on, all thanks to Dentist Ben and Dental Nurse Elise, they were absolutely fantastic, I had everything explained to me of what was being done, it was all done at a pace where I was comfortable, and not once did they make me feel like a was a fool, I was quite relaxed not something I ever thought I'd say while at the dentist, honestly recommend this practice 100%, and if you are nervous no need to be they will look after you, well worth the hours travelling time. Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Ben at Whitworth dental practice enough. I was very dentist phobic after a terrible experience and hadn't been to the dentist for 20 years I was so scared my partner had to come in with me and I'm not ashamed to say I cried. Ben took everything at my pace and I'm now no longer afraid to smile

Fantastic experience: I had a tooth extraction on Wed 19-10-22 to enable a denture to be fitted. Victoria Black performed my extraction,( this was my first extraction that I have ever needed) which I was pleasently suprised to be completely "pain free". She takes time & effort to explain the procedures needed for your treatment. I would highly recommend Dr Black to anybody who does not enjoy Dentist visits. NB: Most of my family are under her care!

Fantastic experience: Just completed my first dental treatment with Viraj who I found to be a very pleasant, patient and calming young man, in addition to his dentistry skills. He explained what was happening at least every stage of treatment that was happening - so no unexpected surprises .
