Fantastic experience: would recommend this dental surgery. Really friendly and puts you at ease. dentists explain everything about treatment etc. cannot fault at all.

Negative experience: I made a complaint regarding the receptionist (I've noticed various negative experiences with the same receptionist) and the principal DR Shah dealt with my complaint. Very unprofessional, my question to Dr Shah is this, if various patients are complaining regarding your reception staff why don't you maybe look at the root of the problem? Or is that too difficult a task? They seem to only care about paying patients, very quick to remove anyone on NHS THIS PLACE HAS GONE DOWNHILL. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

The reception team are so personable, welcoming and professional and I've had nothing but positive experiences with the dentists and hygienists here. Having a health condition that can make dental treatment tricky, they've gone above and beyond and have been so supportive and patient in the process. Negative experience: The worst experience I've had with this clinic a few minutes ago. I called the receptionist to schedule an appointment with the dentist. She told me that they only had private dentists and that if they went to the NHS, it would take more than four weeks to see me. I urgently needed to go to the dentist. I told her that I would pay the private dentist. She was rude and said, "You have to pay now for your phone. How do you mean you have to pay now for your phone?" How can people talk to their customers like that? It's rude. How can this person still work in this environment? I asked her, "I'm registering with the dentist, and how can you say that I have to pay now? How does that work? Can you email me the bank details?" She said, "No, I can't send them. Do you have to pay now?" What kind of person works in an environment like that. The worst experience I've had in this place. The worst experience I've had in this place and I don't recommend it to anyone.

Recently we came to see Dr Amelia and (a separate appointment) to see Katharine. As always we had the best care. From the moment we walked in, Sharon and her team of receptionists were friendly and professional. Last week my 13 years old daughter had to have two teeth taken out in preparation for her braces, and Dr Amelia was amazing! She explained everything, she was reassuring and kept checking that my girl was pain free and comfortable with each step. Needless to say, it went well and healed quickly. Most of all, my daughter would be happy to do it again. Just shows great places like this can set kids in the right state of mind for life! A big thank you to all in Kent House! Fantastic experience: From the moment I walk into Kent House, I'm always greeted by the wonderful receptionists who are so welcoming and friendly, setting a positive tone for my entire appointment. I've had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Sumiaya Khan, and I cannot recommend her enough. She is incredibly kind, empathetic, attentive, and gentle-handed, which is so important. Dr. Khan's professionalism and warm manner puts me at ease and makes every visit comfortable. I know most people don't enjoy going to the dentist, but Dr Khan honestly removes any anxiety you could have. Dr Khan is a Grade A example of what a great dentist should be, and overall, an amazing human being. Thank you, Dr. Khan, for your exceptional care!

Negative experience: I been with this practice for a few time, I been attending for a few dentist and the receptionist is a very lovely and understanding lady. I just don’t like my dentist Amelia. I meet her before covid and she sees a good person, but after that it’s been a nightmare to book an appointment with her. 1- my shifts are not compatible with her’s. 2 -she performed a tooth extraction, but she broke It. So she told me that I’ll have to go to a especialista to remove it and I will have priority. I’m still waiting for more than a year! 3- last week a book an appointment for today at 3:30pm ( thinking it was another doctor) but it was her again and becouse I was late for 5 min she couldn’t attend me. She didn’t have the nerve to tell me. It was the lovely lady from the reception who told me. Like I said before the practice is very good and I recommend. BUT DO NOT BOOK WITH AMELIA

Positive experience: I have thought really hard about giving a review, I just cant let this go , went to see a Dentist here and she gave me an injection for a filling I was having ,the following day the left side of my face became swollen went back and saw someone else and he did not seem that interested, { I thought he was rather rude} I had a phone call from the first dentist I saw and she suggested for me to go back and to see if I had an infection I said no I have been to see my Dr and she put me antibiotics , I was so unwell that I could not eat , lost my taste for food {I did not have covid as I did 3 tests} I think I had a bad reaction to the injection I was given for the filling, I just wonder if my notes were checked properly, I have been going to Kent House for a few years and have never had this outcome before ,the dentist I have seen in the past have always been good.

Positive experience: This will be my second personal appointment with this surgery and have no problems with the clinicians seen so far. I just had an unsavoury encounter with the receptionist who is meant to be the face of the surgery. She was extremely unhelpful and rude, because sadly I realised my appointments will mean missing school run and if I could be accommodated by 5 minutes earlier to see the dentist and she blatantly refused to do this. The least I expected from her was I will see what I can do. It is a shame since I will have to change back to my previous dentist

Fantastic experience: I was very nervous going back to the dentist after so long, but the receptionist, Dr Khan and my hygienist, Bushra, were very kind and understanding and did everything to put me at ease. Negative experience: Attended for tooth extraction, the tooth was broken inside the gum and I was referred to have surgery but then I was told it wasn't necessary because any future implants would benefit from extra tooth remains - which I found out wasn't correct information. The hygienist appointment lasted 15 min!

Fantastic experience: An update to my original review as I continue to be impressed by this dental practice. I was a very very nervous/anxious/scared patient but registering here 17 months ago was the best thing I have ever done. Although I still feel nervous at the thought of going, purely bad memories of previous dentists, I am made to feel welcome from the moment I walk through the door to the moment I walk out again. I have never had a dentist, Dr Sumiaya Khan, who has been so kind and understanding as well as professional plus going that little bit further to ensure the whole visit is an excellent holistic experience. If you are nervous/anxious this practice is for you whichever dentist you choose.

Negative experience: Awful, awful dentist. Please do not go there. Insane receptionist, incredibly unpleasant and bullying, and the absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Incredible that it is still open. I’ve spent a fortune there but will never go back.

Fantastic experience: Exceptional staff treat you as a valued patient, make you welcome and assuage any fears. My dentist is so gentle and treats people as she would like to be treated. Not a nuisance, a number or as can happen in NHS "a piece of meat". She is BRILLIANT.

Negative experience: Removed me as an NHS patient without any consultation or warning, because I hadn't been to the dentist since the summer of 2019 - I wonder what possible reason there could be for such a gap, a global pandemic perhaps?! Needlessly attending a check-up during the last 18 months would have been irresponsible, putting myself and their staff at risk and taking away appointment time from someone in greater need.

Fantastic experience: I started receiving treatment at this surgery around about 2010. Experiences with previous dentists left me with a serious fear or dentists. The dental tartar scraper caused me palpitations and anything that involved needles felt like my worst nightmare come true. Most of my family members have been patients of Dr Sej Patel for years. My family persuaded me to visit the surgery because I had a serious case of toothache. I am really pleased they convinced me to come to this surgery. The receptionists are always helpful and friendly, the dentists and hygienists are exceptional. The combination of a relaxed atmosphere with great advice and treatment has made me more relaxed about dental treatment. I now see a visit to the dentists as something important instead of something to fear. If you are looking for an exceptional practice then I would highly recommend you visit this one. They don't bite but I am sure that you will have a better bite after visiting them.

Negative experience: Services slightly good-my family and I are their patients for 2 years.When we had appoinments every single time we have been waited for 15 minutes and so.Never been complained about it but the situation rose when my husband's late for 15 minutes even he called the surgery about that and at arriving the receptionist surprised him with the fine of £80 as she/he took them from the deposit and said him it is their policy if somebody late or miss the appoinment out.My husband has not been informed about their policy before and paid for something ridiculous.Talking with manager via email he responded me that they have signs in their surgery which inform the patients about the charge incase they are late.What the policy is this to take money from every human on that way.Might be for them kind of benefit for us is empty pocket.Why t do not they pay me for when every single time we wait to be taken.Where is all human in the profession!Where does the charge go?In his pocket?Even they do not have price list which can inform the patient what must pay and have idea where the money go.

Fantastic experience: I was very nervous about the all treatment especially during the pandemic. A receptionist who I talked on the phone was really friendly and professional. Another receptionist who checked my temperature on arrival was equally friendly and so lovely. I had an appointment with Dr Khan and she was professional and friendly as well as the nurse there. I am very pleased I could register at this clinic.

Fantastic experience: I thought was treated like a king but apparently they treat everyone like that.

Negative experience: Worse dentist ever. Honestly cannot even Noonan appointment correctly. Given them benefit of doubt twice now and still cant get it right !!! Registering with new dentist and lodging a formal complaint !

Fantastic experience: I was well greeted. I was invited to begin my check up with a review of past year records and after a few query of my health my check up began. A the end of it an X-ray was required and a clear mini on screen presentation was given to me about the health a particular tooth that may be require treatment going forward. I was clearly explained the overall health of my teeth and what personalised ideal hygienist visit level can be and more. A clear answer and fee and cost was answered to me straightaway within a reasonable calm, caring and clean environment.

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment booked for 6 weeks time but have been in agony for a few days. I called the to see if they are able to see me sooner but no appointments were available. I spoke to Dianne and she was amazing, went above and beyond and managed to get me seen today. She is literally a life saver. She is a credit to clinic.

Negative experience: Wanted to ask some basic questions but the receptionist seem to be in hurry to hang up and whilst asking a question she hung up. Also told me on the NHS the first appoint was a month away( busy practise).

Negative experience: Charged me £70 for NHS band 1 dental care (check-up with small x-rays) that should have been £20 on the NHS. Hence, they charged me more than three times the NHS price and refused to offer me service on the NHS. They rearranged one of my appointments with only 3 hours notice. They said they would get back to me about becoming registered as an NHS patient and I haven't heard anything back from them. Hence I give 1 star.

Fantastic experience: I needed an infected tooth extracted quickly and Dr. Khan managed to squeezed me in at the last minute. She and the nurse were incredibly supportive, professional and kind, plus the fee was very reasonable. I would highly recommend Kent House Dental Clinic.

Negative experience: In the summer of 2016, I arrived 2 mins late for my appointment coz I couldn't walk any faster(penguin walking) as I was nine months pregnant, (I know that's nothing to do with them) only to be told the dentist can't see me coz someone was still in there. What!? now who's fault is that. Even in my condition they refused to compromise. So they marked it as missed appointment. When I tried to book for the next appointment a month later, they said you missed your appointment twice so we can't see you, I tried to explain that I had never missed another appointment but she was not having it, I said ok so what should I do she said sign up with another Dental surgery we can't see you any more. My while family used to go there until this happened, we've moved to a much caring surgery and we couldn't be happier.

Fantastic experience: I can definitely recommend Kent House Dental Clinic. I just registered with them and was treated by Dr Sejal Patel, who was very friendly and professional. The reception staff is also very nice. Rooms seem to have all kinds of high tech so you can get treated, get an x-ray and view them on a screen a few minutes later while not even having to get up your chair. Very happy.

Negative experience: PLEASE NEVER USE THIS DENTIST. I fainted in February, never had dental work before, went in to check my front tooth as it was sore and wobbly. They took X-rays and gave me no info on what was going on with the front tooth. Instead told me I needed a filling in the back. The filling was drilled too low and became a root canal. Original tooth I came in for was becoming darker, no word from them about what was going on. The back tooth that was supposed to be a filling lost some of the temporary filling they used while I was getting root canal when I got home and bit on it some came out. so naturally I was in a lot of pain, lady I had an emergency appointment with made fun of me and then tried to call me a liar and tell me I had an infection in the tooth. I didn't. I refused to take the antibiotics and continued with my painkillers. Further appointment to finish my root canal confirmed that there was no infection. Further to this I had made an appointment to discuss braces This appointment was cancelled 3 times. I finally managed a 5 minute chat during another dental appointment which they attempted to charge me £40 for.. Literally a 5 min chat, no X-rays no further appointments. More than once I had to wait 4 weeks until my next appointment to finish treatment. They are not reassuring and definitely not worthy of any money. The only dentist there worth seeing who I managed to switch to is leaving so I'm absolutely never going back and I hope the poor kind receptionists find somewhere else to work. THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE!
