Fantastic experience: On the day of my first consultation I met with Kayleigh, the coordinator and she was amazing. She explained everything clearly and answered all my questions. I then met the fabulous Gregor & Cameron , my surgeons and they were so professional and friendly in detailing my treatment I was happy to book there and then. I had done my research and knew NLT were leaders in their field. Surgery went without a hitch and by end of the day I had a fantastic new temporary smile. It’s unbelievable what they can achieve ! They are on the end of the phone 7 days a week if you have any questions or concern. All the staff at Edinburgh can’t do enough to make you feel special from Louise on reception to Claire the head dental nurse and all the staff I met which are too many to name but they are all amazing. I have now completed my treatment in just under 6 months and would highly recommend NLT as they have given me the best smile I have ever had. My teeth look natural and are so comfortable. I couldn’t be happier

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend New Life Teeth Edinburgh. From the moment you walk through the door you feel well looked after. All the staff are all so warm, welcoming and friendly. I had a dental implant with Gregor and the whole process was excellent. Absolutely painless and I’m delighted with the results. I then went on to have a replacement filling with Cameron which was again remarkably painless and so much better than the one I had before. I’ve always been anxious about dental treatment but they may have cured me. If you want the best, go to this team.

Fantastic experience: Mr Clydesdale was very thorough and explained everything in detail. The whole process was relatively pain free and the final outcome was excellent. Cost was a little bit greater than expected, but happy to pay as the service was excellent. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: After a root canal for a front upper incisor failed, leaving me with a discoloured tooth and a chronic infection in my upper jaw, I needed to have an extraction and an implant + crown fitted. My treatment took just over a year from start to finish, from Jan 2024, to Feb 2025. No one likes to think of themselves as vain, but the thought of losing a front tooth (or rather, being without a front tooth while I healed!) was really upsetting for me. I ended up putting off treatment for a couple of years until I bit the bullet and got referred here. I can't thank the team enough for their kindness, empathy and honesty throughout the whole process. I ended up needing a bone graft and the extraction was not a simple job, but Gregor and his team were absolutely excellent, fitting me with a temporary bridge the same day as my extraction AS WELL as a back up (a retainer with a tooth in it!) in case that came out. No one saw me toothless!! As part of my treatment I also whitened my teeth, as its something I've always been conscious of. The result is that my smile is even better than before with an imperceptible implant!! I am so happy with the result!! I just wish I'd done it before my wedding!!

Fantastic experience: Just had my final visit to New Life Teeth and couldn't be happier with my new tooth! John Clydesdale was the dentist in charge of the whole process and kept me fully informed at each stage. I felt very confident in his ability to produce a good final outcome; it's obvious that he has a lot of experience. I hope I never have to see him again, for obvious reasons, but if I do, I wouldn't hesitate to return. I also have to give a mention to the other staff members who are also extremely friendly and professional.

Positive experience: The treatment is not yet complete but all good so far. I was asked to review at this stage by my dentist, John Lothian There were a few issues however: 1. Cost came in at £500 more than quoted with no satisfactory explanation so far. 2. I wasn't warned that I really would not be capable of getting myself home on public transport after the treatment. I had an interesting journey home as I hadn't appreciated that this would be an issue and hadn't organised help. 3. I wasn't warned that I would be given a cocktail of 9 pills at the outset , which made me feel very unwell. 4. I was sent home with someone else's drugs- when i called about this I was told not to worry ! They would have mine so just go ahead and take them. Breach of confidentiality apart, this was not very reassuring. 5. There is a very annoying and intrusive automated system of reminding you incessantly about your upcoming appointment by phone text and email. On a positive note, the staff were lovely

Fantastic experience: I recently had the pleasure of undergoing a full mouth dental implant procedure with Dr. Gregor McIntish and his amazing team, specifically Mairi and Kayleigh. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Everyone was incredibly professional, attentive, and compassionate. They made me feel comfortable and well-informed every step of the way. The procedure itself was painless, and dare I say fun at times! The results have been life-changing. I now have a confident smile and can enjoy my favorite foods without any discomfort.

Fantastic experience: Updated January 2025. Due to the success of my previously unplanned episode at New Life Teeth I chose to proactively have two problematic teeth fixed. After meeting with again with John Clydesdale and Claire where we discussed and agreed a schedule in advance, I was again provided with a detailed care plan including costs and after care. A new addition to the original team is Louise in reception. Always welcoming and helpful with appointment scheduling.. Hoping I am finished with specialist dental work for now but if I needed advice I would not hesitate to return to New Life Teeth, Edinburgh Absolutely top class experience from start to completion with John Clydesdale, Claire and the team at New Life Teeth. Clear communication and comprehensive care plan and coatings from the beginning. Referred by my regular dentist for a specific specialist issue, after successful intervention and great support throughout I am now returning to my regular dentist.

Fantastic experience: I will start by saying I have never regreted walking through the doors of New Life Teeth. My dentist had recommended John Clydesdale, after a conversation about the possible merits of implants. I have since thanked him on many an occasion for that recommendation. From the very first visit I felt very comfortable in the environment, which is calm, clean, and friendly. I was welcomed initially by the reception staff, who I must say were all lovely, welcoming and very observation to my needs. During my first consultation with John, it became very apparent that the process was not going to be rushed and every possible treatment would be explored to ensure that the correct treatment was undertaken. I was listened to and advised in a way that allowed me to make a very informed decision. Treatment decided and process began, I was put at ease by all staff, and there were quite a few. I had had so much information prior that I felt totally at ease throughout the day. No need for questions, just as well as talking isn't really an option. I left delighted despite the extensive work and my recovery began. Each stage of recovery was dealt with professionally, questions answered and worries alleviated, until the final bridge was sealed and treatment competed almost a year to the day. Never throughout that year did I have a smile I wasn't satisfied with. I am one very happy customer, who will always recommend this practice and in particular John Clydesdale and his team of dental nurses, who without a doubt made the process a whole lot easier than I ever imagined. Finally, I will say, I smile often, laugh lots and no longer hide in photos. THANK YOU.

Fantastic experience: It’s very difficult to quantify into words how much the team at New Life Team have done for me in my dental treatment. From the moment I had my first consultation with wonderful Kayleigh and my first actual appointment with Dr Gregor. I can’t thank all the staff enough from Mhari and Jordon I believe there name were.( I am terrible with names). To Dr Paul and Ethan who assisted along the way with my treatment. Also a huge thanks to Louise and Georgia who always took my calls if I had any questions about the treatment that was personal to me. I was expecting a lot of pain and to be honest the fear is worse than anything else. There was some pain and bleeding but I promise if you follow the treatment plan it will be the best thing you can do. It was for me. I did my plan as part of my wedding preparations. I gave Dr Gregor a time frame and he delivered and it has done more for me than I could have expected. A huge boost to my mental health, physical health and confidence. They were even sweet enough to give me a wedding present. They went above and beyond and my treatment was considered hard. I have no regrets. I would recommend this team with the utmost confidence. They started of as people I went to see about my dental treatment and became highly recommended and my own hype team for my confidence. Full marks all round.

Negative experience: Having originally been a great company with good customer service skills I'm now 6 months down the line and no further forward. Pulled every excuse to cancel appointments with me. Unfortunately I have decided to pick my dentures up and have the extractions done elsewhere. There communication skills are awful and excuses even worst. I'd avoid this place until they sort themselves out. My dentures went missing and allsorts.

Fantastic experience: Having never had any major dental issues, getting a dental implant was quite daunting, both physically and financially. After visiting a few practices, I'm so glad I chose New Life Teeth. Fantastic experience: I’m 100% happy with the work I had done with Dr Daniel Benson and his team. My case was complex, both with regards work required and timeframe I had available. At the first consultation with John Clysdale each step of the process was explained to me in detail including possible problems which could arise. The process took just over 6 month to complete with several visits to the surgery required. I am extremely satisfied with the end result and would highly recommend New Life Teeth to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I was horrified by losing a front tooth after a recurring infection and split root. I consulted a few implant dentists but chose NLT as they provided (on a no obligation basis) a preliminary assessment by a dentist with a detailed written report, and because this is their special area of expertise. In this eye-wateringly expensive area of dentistry their quote was also significantly less than others I had consulted. This has been a very good experience for me from beginning to end. NLT's admin is first class. I found their receptionists and nurses efficient and friendly. My implant was not straightforward as it required significant grafting to replace lost bone density. It wasn't possible to be sure what the final outcome of my particular treatment might be, but Dr Gregor McIntosh inspired confidence from the outset that I was in a very skilled pair of hands; I felt sure that it would be as good as it could be. I was pleasantly surprised to experience very little pain or discomfort in the course of what was a pretty radical process. I am very pleased indeed with the end result which feels very secure and looks totally natural. Everyone at NLT Edinburgh gives the impression that they know what they are about and truly care about the patient experience. I thoroughly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Attending the Edinburgh branch for full arch implants and I am extremely pleased with the process thus far. Paul Devine is my implant surgeon with the support of Gregor McIntosh on day of surgery for an upper and lower full arch procedure, hence a team of two surgeons and two nurses.... John and his team are friendly, professional and, coming from a team sports background, have been great to watch how they work together. I’m in the early stages of the dental implant process and I had to have a problematic tooth extracted. Fantastic experience: If you're apprehensive or anxious about taking that first step, like I was!!, take a leap of faith because I can honestly say that New Life Teeth changed my world! I have always been extremely anxious about going to the dentist, I'm 53 and have carried this fear of dentists with me my whole life because of a childhood visits to a dentist that seemed to always caused me great discomfort and fear. From my first anxious steps through the door, the whole team at New Life Teeth were brilliant, my journey from start to finish took 5 months, it was meticulously plan in stages that allow healing and settling to take place, and Danny and his team talked and walked me through every step. Through the whole treatment I was never without teeth as a temporary set was custom made for me on day 1 of my treatment, but yesterday was a monumental day for me as I recieved my final finished teeth and a Forever Smile that words can't describe. It took a few appointments to find the right screwdriver to take the thing apart but he was very reassuring throughout and always kept me up to date. With a friendly attentive manor. You could tell the full team worked well together and were very positive and friendly through the whole experience even at one point I couldn’t work out the coffee machine a lovely lady came to assist me. Fantastic experience: Dr Sharma completed my root canal treatment on my existing front crown. The skill and expertise involved in this work was phenomenal and my own dentist was amazed he managed to save the existing crown on such a difficult job. Fantastic experience: I am petrified of Dentists but Dan, Rob and Debbie put me at ease from the very first meeting I had with them in October 2022. Yesterday I had all my remaining teeth extracted (which wasn’t a huge number) but for me could have been a huge ordeal. Fantastic experience: The whole implant process took around a year from my first visit to having the implant placed. I was impressed with the care I received and the fact that time was taken to allow my mouth to heal in the early stages rather than there being a rush to replace the tooth. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and I appreciated there being a full explanation of what was going on at every stage of the process. I would recommend New Life Teeth to anyone looking for dental implants.

Fantastic experience: My entire experience has been a massive journey. I went for a consultation in 2018 in the hope of getting an implant to fill up the gap made by an adult tooth that grew horizontally in my gum. My full consultation with Gregor was free and included a full scan and expert advice. He spent a long time talking to me, listening to exactly what I wanted and my previous attempts to close the gap by bridges, etc. He gave me a lot of helpful advice and was confident that I was a suitable candidate for the procedure…until the x-Ray came through. To get the implant, not only would I need the horizontal tooth removed, but I would also require braces. This entire process took approx. 18 months; operation date, recovery and braces. Once complete, I was able to go ahead with the implant process. I was warned about potential risks right from the start and that I may need a bone graft which wouldn’t be known until the gum was open and exposed. Sure enough, a bone graft was required. Having the implant procedure (this is only the metal screw in the gum) took about an hour or so, and I was well looked after. The bone graft was done at the same time. I was given tablets before and after the procedure to prevent any potential risks of bacteria or infection, plus painkillers and anti inflammatories to help aid the healing process. Gregor regularly updated me during the procedure, asked how I was feeling, and made sure I was comfortable at all times. The assistants were all doing the same. I felt quite weak afterwards but all the staff treated me so kindly and with such respect and dignity it was *almost* a pleasure going through it. Even the receptionists were so helpful and friendly, offering me water and a kind smile and conversation when I felt anxious. I had to wait 3 months for healing and for the graft to successfully fuse. I was always made aware of the potential risks of things not quite working out, and that Gregor had a few different options if that were the case. I felt extremely confident throughout the entire journey because of his knowledge and genuine care for me to make this work. Once I was given the all clear, it was time to expose the implant, heal, take moulds, work out colour etc. for the final product, wait for the model to be made and then it was go time. The tooth implant itself didn’t hurt being put in, although like always, I was pre warned that it may hurt for some so at any point to let them know and they would administer anaesthetic. Gregor spent a huge amount of time with me filing down the final part of the implant which covers the hole so that it fit my mouth and teeth perfectly. He must have gone in to shave down about 8-10 times and was not fussed at all until I was happy with how it felt. I walked out feeling brand new. For over 10 years, I have had this gap and hated it. I was always so self conscious to smile wide but Gregor and his team have changed that. He gave me back my confidence and my smile. The entire staff couldn’t have been more supportive and kind. I cried when I came out of the room and the receptionist gave me the biggest, warmest hug. I felt so safe and so well cared for. It was actually hard to leave! It was like leaving family. I was so overjoyed with the whole experience, I had another consultation for the other gap I have further back. Gregor told me the risks and the potential costs and said with his expert advice, he wouldn’t recommend doing it. Too much could go wrong and for that kind of price, it wasn’t worth it. This made me feel even more confident with him and knew he was honest and cared about his patients. It has been a really incredible journey. There was a lot of pain, tears, and thoughts about how it was never going to end. But there was also genuine laughter during our appointments. I am so thankful to Gregor, his team, and everyone at New Life. I feel like I can start a new chapter in my life. From reception to surgery, I was put at ease, everything was fully explained, and Gregor and Claire carried out my procedure with remarkable speed and skill. Very professional and highly skilled with a great easy manner when explaining procedures. Superb result for me. I am impressed with the Edinburgh Team staff, they were great in their communication and alleviated any concerns and anxieties about the procedure. I was fully awake for the three hours, listening to my music and felt no pain at all, only pressure when my existing teeth were being removed. I opted for no sedative, injection only. Fantastic experience: I had been thinking about getting Dental implants for a very long time as eating and talking were affecting my confidence. Eating was NOT a nice experience. I decided to make an appointment with New Life Teeth to see if they could help. Right from my first appointment Kayleigh Robinson the administrator to Rob Leggett one of the other dentists, who went through all the different options. He was patient and understanding. I decided on dental implants as it sounded like the best option for m I was very nervous, however Johnathan Doughty the implant dentist put me at ease as did the dental nurse. I had 4 implants on my lower mouth. I was given great after care, with medication to take home after surgery and Johnathan the dentist kept in touch with me to make sure I was ok afterwards. Fantastic experience: My Journey with New Life Teeth started, quite literally years ago, pre covid. In having previous implants from 10 years before, an issue arose with them, so I needed a repair. Due to the age of my implants, I was advised the material used for my originals was no longer an option. Having already spent a lot of money on my original implants, I could not afford a whole new set. The team at New Life were amazing! They essentially used new technology and pulled together many different lab technicians and implant specialists (at New Life) to adapt the new bridge to the old implants. I had a lot of highs and lows with this journey, throw in covid and a kidney transplant into the mix, and you may start get a picture of length of time this took. If it were not for Gregor, and the whole team in Edinburgh at New Life`s tenacity and professionalism, I would have thrown in the towel with the process. They kept to their goal of delivering a new set of implants, whatever challenges they faced, and it paid off! This process involved the team in Belfast (thank you Stuart), and labs in Europe. We all know how important it is to have a confident, radiant smile, thanks to New Life, this is what I now have.

Negative experience: This place is a factory, nothing more. Avoid at all costs. I had a dreadful experience here. I wrote two follow-up emails of complaint, and none of my complaints has been answered one year later. The one star rating I gave it relates to the friendliness of the receptionist. Spend your money elsewhere.
