Fantastic experience: I've been a patient at Bounty Road Dental for over 25 years and the team are absolutely fantastic - cannot recommend highly enough! Only leaving as I've moved away but can only hope the staff at my new dental practice are as lovely and welcoming as the staff here!

Fantastic experience: I've used this dental practice for 4 implants over the past 4 years. I only have good words for Dr Rhee and his team, I was really nervous the first time around but they made the whole experience seamless and put me at ease. They explained each step of the process, what to expect and gave clear timeline for each appointment. Looking after your teeth is so important, I'm glad we have this practice in Basingstoke where the service it's more affordable and accessible. The work done is excellent and never had any issues with the implants so far!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Rhee is amazing! I’ve always been scared of the dentist—seriously nervous for years—but Dr. Rhee completely changed that for me. He’s incredibly kind, calm, and patient. He always takes the time to explain everything clearly, which really helps ease my anxiety. He makes me feel comfortable every step of the way, and that means the world when you’ve had bad experiences in the past. I can honestly say I trust him, and that’s not something I ever thought I’d say about going to the dentist! Also, a big shoutout to Nikki at the front desk—she’s so friendly and welcoming. From the moment you walk in, you feel at ease. If you’re nervous like me, I highly recommend Dr. Rhee and his team. They’re the best!

Negative experience: Don’t believe what you see on the website… I visited on Monday morning, the reception staff were ok but spent the 10-15 minutes I waited discussing what they did at the weekend! As for the dentistry consultation experience, it could have been better. The team although extremely nice could have had a better understanding of the English language (The actual dentist (not the dental nurses) did speak perfect English however. The main criticism I have hence the 2 star review is their pricing and the fact that I felt like I was being interviewed to see if I could afford it…. Pricing on their websites suggested that what I was wanting (3 implants) would be £1500 for the first and £1k for each extra one so £3.5k which was fine. But the reality was for me that you need so much more extra (hidden costs - yes I know many dentists do this which is annoying) And the bill would be over £7k… My follow up questions via email were mostly ignored. Lastly they offer to pay this over a year however when I asked further about this (after hearing it would be over £7k) I was shocked by the response of the reception staff saying something like “you can’t pay for it now” Just an indifferent experience I’d like to forget I’ve now booked in at a different dentist to have the work done.

Fantastic experience: With a four year interval I have had two implants each time. Dentistry is not my favourite pastime. However Joe is very professional, kind and thoughtful and takes time to explain exactly what he’s doing. The dental nurses are very attentive. In fact I have just finished two Implant’s and to my amazement I found the experience somewhat enjoyable! Superb implants, thank you. I would wholeheartedly recommend this dental practice.

Negative experience: Honestly, one of the strangest experiences I’ve had with any dental practice. They give you an appointment, you show up — only to find your name isn’t on their system. Luckily, I had already made the payment and was able to show proof, otherwise I’m not sure what would’ve happened. There was no real apology, no sense of responsibility — just a casual “Oops, it’s not in the system.” That might be acceptable for a coffee order, but definitely not for a dental appointment that people have to take time off work to attend. I can’t afford to keep taking leave and showing up for nothing due to their disorganisation. They seriously need to work on their appointment management and overall professionalism. Dental care isn’t cheap — the least you expect is that your appointment is properly recorded.

Fantastic experience: I am petrified of dentists so when the time came for me to have 4 implants I was more than anxious! I don’t know why I worried the whole process was a breeze. From my initial appointment through to the day I had them fitted I was taken care of, this was from the ladies on reception, the dental nurses and the dentist. I had to have a sinus lift which sounds horrible but even that wasn’t a major problem. All in all I am very pleased with how well the process went and the end result is nothing short of amazing!!! Fantastic experience: Wow I was super nervous about taking the plunge and going to get my broken tooth taken out which was long overdue! From the moment I stepped in the surgery I was made to feel at ease from Nicki.. I then went through to see the dentist and again himself and the 2 ladies made me feel comfortable and explained everything to me we then went ahead and removed the tooth and I’m so glad I braved it! Fantastic experience: I have recently had a bridge fitted at bounty road dentist, I live in Weybridge and found it cheaper to travel the 40 minute drive to Basingstoke than have it done in Weybridge. I can say with all honesty that the service and professionalism from start to finish, nicky on reception and of course doctor Joe and his 2 lovely dental nurses was excellent, all in a very friendly and welcoming environment. Fantastic experience: I consider myself very fortunate to have found this centre of implant excellence. Dr Joe Rhee is a kind and extremely skilled implant surgeon. His years of expertise in this field are clearly apparent from the initial consultation and then throughout the whole implant process. Prospective patients may wonder why the prices are cheaper than other providers........l thought this myself....and have no answer, there is definitely no compromise on quality of service. I have already recommended friends who are impressed with my results. Fantastic experience: Dr Rhee was excellent in fact I would say he’s a bit of a perfectionist, which is great, I had 4 implants in total, the cost was very reasonable in comparison to other implant centres locally.

Fantastic experience: I had my upper wisdom teeth removed last week. Dr. Rhee was so patient and gentle during the whole process. I have had a traumatic experience previously with my lower wisdom teeth and was very nervous but the nurses were so caring and held on to my hand while the teeth were extracted. Dr.Rhee answered all my questions patiently and was very reassuring. The front desk staff are very kind and helpful with the invoices and the appointment scheduling, it was a pleasant experience. Fantastic experience: Today I went for a check-up which was on offer at only £35 including scans. I haven’t been to a dentist for over 20 years after a very bad experience and subsequent phobia! I was sooooo nervous and also ashamed at the state of my teeth but desperately in need of help as one of my front teeth was broken. I cannot express my gratitude enough as I was instantly put at ease by the reception staff and then Dr. Mirza and her lovely nurse Renuka who very carefully & gently examined my teeth & took X-rays. They explained the options available to me and costs involved, I was also given a brief consultation with the implant specialist who took the time to explain the procedures and costs to me too. Thank you to Nikki who helped guide me through everything. As a nervous patient I have to say that the walking through the door process is now done.. just need to get my smile back now! I was met by friendly receptionist, who even offered me a cup of tea :) the dentist I see Joe really took his time to explain everything, I had previously had a NHS dentist so having a dentist not rush me in and out was an experience I’d not had before. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Bounty Road Dental Practice since Covid and have found my treatment by the Dentists, Hygienists and Reception staff exceptional. The 30 minute car journey is well worth it when the daunting task of dental treatment is alleviated when attending this friendly practice.

Negative experience: Had a filling done less than two years ago. I’ve now found out that the filling is falling apart, and have to have it done again. The dentist at bounty Road caused me severe pain during the drilling for the filling and when I complained about the pain I was told to use Sensodyne toothpaste. The biggest issue is I’m gonna have to have the filling done again would never use again.

Negative experience: The prices are just ridiculous I went there today and they charged me £290 just for removing one tooth ….

Fantastic experience: I walk past the dental surgery and implant centre every day, and I’ve always heard it’s the best place for implants in Basingstoke. On Friday afternoon, my face was really swollen, and I started to panic about what to do over the weekend. I don’t have a car, and my regular dentist couldn’t fit me in. I even considered heading to A&E, but I was feeling desperate, so I decided to walk in. The moment I arrived, everyone was so friendly and helpful. I did have to wait a bit, but Dr. Rhee took the time to see me, and I found the charges to be very reasonable. They really saved my weekend!

Negative experience: Refused to treat young child in pain after being queried regarding temporary filling material.

Negative experience: Went for an appointment. After waiting ages and a long delay, the person who should have been after me was given my slot . They clearly have favouritism and priority towards certain customers. Not sure why they have a booking/appointment system in that case. The receptionist Nicki was the one who did this, terrible woman and service. Won’t ever be going back there again. Saleh

Fantastic experience: My girlfriend was in tears thanks to the pain her wisdom teeth were causing and, even though she is terrified of the dentist, all the staff (the receptionists, the nurses, and the doctors) bent over backwards to make her feel safe. Before we knew it, the dentist removed the bad teeth without a fuss and she was 1000% happier. Thanks everyone!

Negative experience: I moved to Basingstoke last year and Bounty Road Dental seemed to be the most highly reviewed dental surgery in the area, but I am genuinely confused as to how it has scored so highly. In that time, I’ve had routine check-ups with two dentists with vastly different results - one so concerned about the state of my teeth that they wanted me to book in again in 6 months instead of the usual 12+, and one - more recently - who believes that there’s nothing to be concerned about. If there’s anything to be worried about, I prefer to know sooner rather than later so damage can be minimised. Unfortunately my experiences haven't given me confidence in either dentist so will be getting a third opinion elsewhere. The biggest issue has been trying to get a hygienist appointment. I saw a hygienist in November after being recommended a cleaning regime by one of their dentists - which included regular visits to the hygienist - and, despite being on the cancellation list, the next available open slot was July. I also was not told I had this appointment until I asked at my second routine check up. We’re now in July and that appointment has been cancelled twice. While I understand this was down to circumstances out of their control, I would expect some kind of goodwill gesture for the inconvenience caused. To save myself the stress of waiting more months to be seen and potentially missing more workdays, I’d prefer to go somewhere that values their customer’s time.

Negative experience: Please get a new leafleting company. I’ve received your leaflet through the door three times in one week, a few days ago we received the same leaflet twice in one day 40 minutes apart and we have just received another today.

Fantastic experience: I went in for an emergency wisdom tooth removal, everyone in the practice was so supportive and lovely, I personally am really scared of going to the dentist because of past trauma so I did cry out of fear but the extraction was so fast and there wasn’t any pain, the nurses held my hand and wiped my tears through the entire thing and were very good at reassuring me and providing that beacon of strength, thank you all so so much! I look forward to being able to sleep now! :)

Fantastic experience: I have now had two dental implants completed by Dr Joe Rhee. The first was a few years back and one that has recently been completed. Dr Rhee is clearly very experienced in his field and in both cases I have been highly pleased with the work that he has done. He carries out the work with great efficiency, professionalism and competence and takes care to explain what exactly he is doing. I felt at ease with the work being done. I have had no problems at all with either of the implants. I would highly recommend him. Fantastic experience: I was considering dental implants abroad, until I came across this dentist. I was very pleased and assured during my initial consultation, where the dentist was able to confirm some existing issues with bits of root left behind. After that, everything was focused towards my requirements, giving appropriate advice. I was pleased to hear that having more than one implant at a time is cheaper, so I broke my treatment to have two implants first. I was so pleased by the whole process and results, I've since been back to have two more! The replacement teeth are so comfortable, and match my existing teeth perfectly! I'm extremely happy! The reception team are very friendly and helpful, and this continues to the dental team. I have already recommended them.

Negative experience: Called 20/7/22 I called in because (on google at least) it mentioned emergency appointments. I believed my tooth felt *loose* so I wanted to get it checked asap. I had a regularly scheduled appointment to see my actual dentist at chequers road at the beginning of August but I was having a panic attack and wanted to see if I could be seen asap. I called in and the lady initially greeted me nicely I mentioned my issue -tooth felt loose- and she instantly said "we're not NHS". **I** am not NHS... really snooty and rude. If this is how you get treated as an NHS patient - I feel so badly. I asked if she knew of any OOH dentists that she knew of in the area she didn't know of ANY OOH dentists at all, "they finish at 5:30 around here" which simply isn't true either as there is an ooh dentist in South Ham (which I ended up going to) . Overall really snooty (again, I am not an NHS patient - I have always been private) and misinformed - saw the oohs dentist and got my issue sorted - not a loose tooth thankfully and managed to get a cancellation with my dentist a bit earlier. Maybe, train your staff to not be so judgemental... 2*

Fantastic experience: I would like to thank the staff at Bounty Road practice for helping me with some emergency dental treatment necessitated after a recent fall which damaged my teeth. Within 15 minutes of my desperate call, Nicki had arranged for me to speak to Dr Ijaz who dealt with my problem immediately and discussed options. He booked in an urgent appointment later that week. I am pleased to confirm that my issue is on the way to being resolved. My predicament was helped immeasurably by the expertise of the staff and I would like to thank all the staff I encountered for the friendliness shown.

Fantastic experience: Bounty Rd dental have literally saved me twice now and restored my faith in dentists. I have received the most amazing regular care the last 5 years. I suffer with TMD, the advice and treatment I have received has been phenomenal. They also referred me to a consultant at Basingstoke hospital to help manage my condition. I was seen at 9:15am on Monday (after a 4 day weekend) and I was out by 9:45, pain free and feeling so relieved. I decided to have an extraction following a consultation, x ray and discussion with Dr Ijaz. I have had a bad experience at a previous practice so was obviously nervous but Hamza and Bishnoo immediately reassured me. Following 3 painless injections and 5 seconds of manipulation, it was over. Pain free dentistry under quite difficult circumstances. I cannot fault the admin team that go above and beyond to help and the location and parking is brilliant. As someone who has been nervous and carries dental issues I felt welcomed and reassured from the start. A very clean, welcoming and equipped practice, you are in very safe hands.

Fantastic experience: Yes - the prices are as good as they sound - The quotation was provided and the prices were very reasonable. I had to have two teeth replaced which was really good value. Dr Rhee is really nice, calm and reassuring. The assistants and receptionists are also very friendly and efficient. The implantation process was easy and really quite a bit quicker than I thought it would be. The whole process took three visits over the course of 5-6 months. I am really pleased with the result. Fantastic experience: Firstly let me say that I have a completely irrational fear of dentists and have not been to one for many years. I explained my concerns to the practice and everyone was accommodating and made me feel very relaxed and calm. The treatment I had was fist rate, the dentist explained clearly what was to happen at each stage and was able to accommodate my busy diary. I can't recommend highly enough.

The dentist was Dr Hamza and I couldn’t of picked a better dentist he was so gentle and kind he relayed my fears immediately. Fantastic experience: Fantastic Dental surgery and staff. Nikki on reception is always so friendly and very helpful. I had my first three implants to replace an old bridge eight years ago with Dr Rhee and Grace, they were amazing, I can’t tell the difference from my implants and my real teeth. I returned last year for three more implants due to very old dental work and the new implants are all great. I would and have recommend Dr Rhee to many friends and family over the years and everyone has been delighted with the results. I also had minor dental work with Dr Hamza in lockdown, with was arranged quickly and was painless and Habiba the Hygienist made all my teeth look and feel so clean. I can’t thank them all enough.

Fantastic experience: My first experience with dental implants and I cannot rate the Bounty Road Implant Centre highly enough. Totally professional, kind and attentive and I am very pleased with the results.

Fantastic experience: I had many dental appointment over the last couple of years but nothing like today. To start off the reception welcome is just wonderful! From a warm smile to brilliant attention to detail! The service I received from George today was absolutely fantastic! He not only had the most positive energy and gave amazing advice! He walked me through every thing he was about to do and made me feel at ease. George also didn’t have a utility of a nurse and still managed a 5 star service! 100% recommend George and the team!

Fantastic experience: Always a friendly welcome and expert treatment with all the latest techniques and equipment. I've had two lots of implants done at Bounty Road Implant Centre over the years and never had a moment's problem with them. Recently I needed three crowns to be made and fitted (my front teeth!) following an accident. This has not only improved the badly chipped teeth but I'm sure they look better than original teeth! Fantastic experience: After ringing round many dentist in Basingstoke trying to find one that would except NHS patients(with no luck!) , I spoke to Amy at Bounty Rd , she was very helpful and was able process the kids as NHS which was great , she really helped in getting us set up and booked in for our first appointment as a family of 4 we had our check up with Dr Hamza ,he was a friendly chap and his nurse was a lovely - making us feel at ease , luckily we all got off without having to have any treatment!

Fantastic experience: Superb treatment from start to finish. As a new patient I was immediately made to relax and feel at home by the lovely receptionist Nicki. Dr Rhee then went on to give me a very professional consultation. State of the art , up to date full jaw X-ray. This led on to me having three dental implants . I Honestly can’t tell you how happy I am with my new dental implants. They are FANTASTIC. So much so ...that I’m going back for more I cannot recommend them highly enough. Also I must mention Hamza. During COVID lockdown I had a terrible toothache /abscess . Nicki the receptionist booked me in to see him & he sorted my pain out immediately . He was AMAZING. Fantastic experience: Just been in to see the hygienist Habiba and i could not be happier. After mistreating my teeth for the last 3/4 years the tartar had really built up. After one treatment they look like completely different teeth. They were far better than I could have ever imagined after just one treatment, I am over the moon.

I am an extremely nervous patient and his attention to the patient is amazing. I have not looked back. My confidence has been restored and after 15 years of avoiding the dentist I am now confident. Negative experience: Unfortunately whilst in the waiting room, a dentist and receptionist were talking horrifically about a previous customer and the state of their teeth, and complaining about them. This left me feeling really uncomfortable and hesitant about seeking help from this practice. I am so self conscious about my teeth, and this did not reassure me that I was in the right place. I was looking forward to my consultation after seeing so many positive reviews, however this experience completely tarnished the positives for me.

Fantastic experience: I've just seen Habiba for a hygiene appointment this Saturday, and found her to be very warm and personable. The treatment was very good and my teeth and mouth feel much cleaner and fresher. Thank you very much! - And much cheaper than my former surgery.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic dental practice! I have been a patient for over 10 years and today had to call up for an emergency appointment. From making the call to sitting in the chair was only 30 minutes! The whole team are very friendly. They take the time to make you feel welcome which is definitely what you need when you are in pain! Your care plan is thoroughly explained and all questions patiently answered. You never feel like you are being rushed out the door! Fantastic for families too. My youngest daughter is not so keen on the idea of her checkups but the team work with this and always manage to put her at ease!

Fantastic experience: I have been to 5 seperate dentists in Basingstoke this year and Bounty Road Dental practice were the only team than never tried to rip me off. They rescued my Christmas at 24 hrs notice, the service was fitst class, their charge of £335 was less than half what another town centre dentist wanted to charge me a day previously, Nicki on reception is brilliant, the dentist and her nurse did a good job on some exstractions no pain and very little blood loss within 4 - 5 hours I was able to have a small snack and enjoy my evening without pain. Faultless, I will never go anywhere else ♥️
