Fantastic experience: I had a good experience of root canal treatment I was very nervous but I now feel like I would worry less if I need that treatment again after seeing Usman.

Fantastic experience: Coming to this dental practice has been the best thing I've done. I've had some bad experiences with dentists in the past but Heybridge Dental practice has turned my anxiety of going to the dentist around. Not only are the staff polite and helpful they are also all so friendly and welcoming. My dentist, Harry, is absolutely amazing and I would never want to see anyone else. The care he takes looking after my teeth I've never had anywhere else. He also makes sure I'm aware of everything that's going on and explains it all so I fully understand! He's so thorough and I just know my teeth are getting the best professional care and I can't thank him enough. I would definitely recommend Heybridge Dental Practice to anyone looking for a professional friendly dentist.

Fantastic experience: Having suffered "dentalphobia" for many years, when the need finally arose for work to be done, choosing a suitable dentist was difficult. After a lot of internet searching I selected Heybridge Dental Practice (HDP) and I'm so glad - and relieved - that I did. The service I have received from everyone, from receptionists, hygienists, nurses and Chirag the dentist, put me at ease from the very beginning. Everything was clearly explained and my past fears (stemming from horrendous experiences at less reputable practices) were quickly dispelled as Chirag was totally understanding and did everything he could to make it a pleasurable experience. My treatment included bridge work and extractions (which were carried out under sedation - something recommended for the nervous as I really cannot recall anything from that session) and whilst still ongoing, I do not have any anxieties or fears of returning for my next appointment(s). It's a cliche but I have actually made a friend in Chirag who's manner and professionalism turns any visit into a pleasurable, dare I say, fun, experience. Would I recommend HDP ? YES, 100%. Would I say they are perfect for the nervous patient, again yes 100%. Would I say my confidence and ability to 'show my posh teeth' has increased immensely, yes. Am I at ease when I walk in through their door, yes ! Select HDP, you will not regret it and please, don't leave it as long as I did, you'll be amazed at what you can achieve here.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic service. Called in for an emergency appointment, they saw me same day and by 12:30 my horrible situation was sorted. Chirag and Anya were wonderful from the moment I walked into the surgery. I was a bit anxious as knew there was a chance I would need a tooth removed, but the time it took from me sitting in the chair to being pain free and sent home was less than 20 minutes. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I was in agony with my toothache. I rung around 9am, had an emergency appointment later that morning and saw Laura. She was brilliant with me, I'm such a nervous patient but she was so kind and patient with me. So thank you.

Negative experience: Took my disabled wife in on an emergency on Friday the week before Easter and was seen by a very nice yoyng lady who prescribed anti biotics after a thourough examination including the neccessary x rays, went to the desk and asked for an aproximate cost for extraction wkich was qoted as a private appointment, I was told there would be a £40 booking fee making a total of £180 for the extraction? As I myself am a disabled pensioner I iasked the receptionis if a budget of £200 would be in the ball park and was told yes. Still my wife was in agony so the appointment was made, on the day of the appointment we arrived and my wife was called in, this is where things started to go wrong, first of all I offered to pay the extraction while my wife was in with the dentist and was then told that payment would be taken at the end of treatment; after nearly half an hour my wife came out of the dentists and I asked how it had gone? She informed me the dentist had not extracted the tooth as he had not got time? I noticed that she was holding a prece of paper that she was reluctant to show me, she gave me the paper after a little persuasion and it was an estimate for extra dental work totalling over £500, so as far as I was concerned the dentist had charged me £40 for his sales pitch and did not carry out the extaction that he was contracted to do and left my disabled wife in agony all over the Easter holidays, we have decided to aproach another dental practice as we feel we were let down very badly.i

Fantastic experience: Great dental practice and would especially recommend Chirag Gohil. He is so caring and conscientious and managed to save a tooth that I truly thought I would lose after it split in half and needed extensive root canal, repair and then a crown. I have an intact smile back once more after Chirag put me back together - many thanks!

Fantastic experience: I couldn't get an appointment with my dentist for at least two months, phoned 111 and got an appointment at heybridge dental for the next day, they were fantastic, put me on antibiotics for 5 days then removed a split rear tooth, went back today and they washed the wound and coated it with antibiotic, absolutely A1, fantastic people.

Fantastic experience: Very professional service and treatment received from Dr Chirag Gohil. Highly recommended. My Son has complex dental needs and Chirag has turned his teeth around, and he is no longer getting abscesses as a result from this. He now treats all my family.

Fantastic experience: After a horrific week end of extreme pain and lack of sleep ,I phoned the practice at the week end ,and left a message of how I was in a lot of discomfort , As soon as the practice opened on Monday morning I received a phone call from a lovely reception staff booking an appointment for 11.10 that same day , My dentist Mr Minns (hope I got it right ) and his young assistant Abbie got to work ,and removed the tooth , in the most efficient manner , as a nervous fool i am, they put me at ease straight away ,so much so as I then booked a check up there and then , Keep up your good work

Fantastic experience: I have recently moved to the area, and I couldn't recommend the surgery and hygenist any more. Nina the hygenist was very thorough explaining everything to me with such attention to detail. It's just a shame I cant show off my new pearly white smile to anyone at the minute with having to wear a mask everywhere.

Negative experience: I Paid £45 + vat to be told that I have an abscess under my tooth and treatment to drill my tooth and sort it is not possible at the moment. However, they could remove my tooth and fix a pegged replacement at a cost of over £2000 + vat !!! Not an option for a 76 year old pensioner !!!

Fantastic experience: Very friendly practice, you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. I am always apprehensive about dentists from bad experiences with school dentists in the 60's, but my fears disappeared when I was made to feel at relaxed by both the receptionists and then the dentist and his dental nurse. I have now registered with Heybridge Dental Practice and would recommend them to anyone. Only warning is they are upstairs.

Positive experience: The appointment time was met and the reception was very friendly. The dentist explained exactly what she was going to do and acted professionally, but in a calm, friendly way. She even handed me a small mirror to show what she had done. She then explained what I should do to get the best result from the treatment I had. I had been with my previous dental practice for many years, but feel that Heybridge Dental Practice more than met my expectations and I will definitely continue to go there.

Positive experience: I am disabled so the staircase posed challenge. I wouldn't even contemplate the stairs a few months age, but this was one of my better days. Nice greeting at reception. Took a seat and waited to be called. Dentist mins-pronounced my surname. Check up was fairly straightforward, but nobody asked me what medication I'm on - a lengthy list these days! Well I was complimented on my brushing and teeth were fine. So I paid my dues and left. Now for those bloody stairs again!

Negative experience: I have had a great service from a great dentist named Sal, unfortunately for myself Sal has left. At the weekend I had a filling fall out, it caused me no pain although needed repairing. So I phoned in, I clearly explained more than once that it wasn't hurting me and i was willing to wait I'd need be to have time to come in and have it properly replaced. I was promptly booked an appointment (later the same day), in which i waited half an hour when i got the the chair the dentist announced to me that he would file dwinnthe sharp edges and have to come back. This alarmed me if you file the tooth down surely I'll have less chance of the replacement filling bonding in!? Well yes the dentist replied, ah ok I'll just shove this temporary filling stuff in he said. At first the receptionist told me I needed to come back as the dentist said i need other work. But its not other work I want, i clearly explained on the phone my situation. The receptionist then booked me another appointment and charged me £22.50. So in essence if you like not being listened to and the dentist doing what they like this may be the practice for you.

Positive experience: Been going to this dentist for a very long time and every time I go I pay a set price and get my teeth checked and cleaned,now for some reason I only get them checked and have to pay £53 to see a hygienist, not sure why that is,also I don't mind leaving work early for the dentist but now it looks like I will have to do this twice to get the same service as before.

Been using this practice for over 5 years and have no complaints. Appointments are usually available and I was accommodated quickly when I had a broken tooth.

Fantastic experience: Heybridge Dental Practice make you feel relaxed, they help to take away that fear of Dentistry, the Dentist explains exactly what is happening and performs the procedures with care. I have been a patient of Heybridge Dental Practice when it was run by Chris Roome and it was sad when he Retired, but Amid Patal has brought the Practice into the 21st century and who is my Dentist who gives me excellent treatments and check ups.

Fantastic experience: At the recommendation of the dentist as he was very concerned about the onset of gum disease I attended the Hygienist. The first appointment was 3 months ago, where she thoroughly cleaned my teeth, but more importantly gave me good advice on the cleaning of my teeth and carefully went through the size of the Te Pe's that I should be using. At her request I attended again on Friday after 3 months and she was very pleased with the progress that had been made. Once again she advised me further on the cleaning procedure. Not only did I find her to be very pleasant, but she was extremely helpful in guiding me. I would thoroughly recommend not only the denitst Alex Thomas but the Hygienist.
