Fantastic experience: Very knowledgeable dentist that explained everything he was about to do and took his time to make me feel comfortable. The dental nurse was lovely too and very efficient, she was sucking the debris from my mouth and managed to get all of it before offering a rinse to wash my mouth. Following my extraction the dentist explained exactly what I should do for recovery that was clear and understood. The reception staff were very helpful and shared a joke and a chat. Fantastic experience: Broke a tooth the day before a holiday. Got an appointment to check out the issue in time, temporary fix carried out and reassurance that the problem can be fixed post holiday. Great Practice that I’ve used for many years even though it is quite a journey. I’m a nervous patient (always dreaded visits to the dentist prior to being recommended) I’m always reassured. Everyone is friendly and professional from when the minute you walk through the door.

Fantastic experience: What a lovely little dental surgery - I'm not local but welcoming staff and I must admit although trying to be calm about root canal work I was like jelly inside but Harpreet was amazing explaining every part of the procedure , possible feelings , the noises and checking frequently I was ok and showing me the before and after x-rays and great information about after effects and care- made me feel a lot more relaxed about it all ... So lucky to have this dental practice in the area

Fantastic experience: My daughter felt very anxious at the start of her orthodontic treatment, particularly as this involved teeth extractions. Harpreet has been amazing at making her feel at ease when fitting her brace. I’m am shocked at how much more relaxed she is now and she even managed to have two teeth removed without too much upset. Bhupinder was so reassuring and kept her informed every step of the way. She said she hardly felt a thing! The reception staff and dental nurses are also so kind and provided support when needed. We are very grateful for the care she has received at Walmley Dental Practice and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them!

Fantastic experience: I called up the other day as I have been meaning to get booked in, it was on a very long to do list. Anyway the Receptionist who answered the phone was just brilliant. A personable person at the end of the phone who actually made me smile. It must be said that each time I come to the practice with my son the Reception team are brilliant and welcoming and also the staff within the Dental appointment too. All in all a lovely, well run and looked after practice.

Fantastic experience: I was not really looking forward to today’s experience (tooth extraction) as it’s the first time I’ve had any dental treatment for over 20 years. This was mainly due to poor dental treatment/experiences in other dental practices. Today’s treatment was totally different & I would recommend this practice for a caring professional experience.

I needed 2 fillings (never had any before) and it was a painless experience and the dentist Harpreet, explained what she was doing and even took photos of my teeth to show me what was done and why afterwards. For a long time I’ve been struggling with a deteriorating confidence in my smile . Past poor dentistry has resulted in a lot of fillings and stains and a general aging in my teeth . Mariam recommended composite bonding and I am transformed . She is so kind, gentle, reassuring and above all a perfectionist . I feel so much better about myself and am very very happy with the result . The whole team are a dream ! Keep doing what you do .. it’s 5 stars from me 10/10 ❤️

Fantastic experience: Harpreet was really great in explaining the full root canal procedure to be done & she calmed my nerves & I felt I was in great hands throughout the procedure. She continued to explain what she was doing at each step & she did the root canal beautifully showing me the before & after x-rays. Harpreet’s assistant was also wonderful, very well on point. A dreaded dentist appointment for a root canal was actually made quite pleasant in a weird way thanks to Harpreet.

Fantastic experience: I had a difficult situation with a problematic tooth. This combined with an inherent fear of dentists made the solution quite impossible. However, I was treated with kindness, compassion and respect, which ultimately ensured I had the treatment. Although it was a traumatic procedure, Harpreet ensured I was well looked after and was explicit in her instructions. The human aspect of care is next to none at Walmley Dental practice which extends to the lovely people who work in Reception and the after care also. They have instilled my faith in Dentists and I now have confidence in continuing to visit and look after my teeth better.

Negative experience: I’ve book an appointment twice to go see if I’m eligible for braces and they keep cancelling them. Then they told me to phone a number to rebook it and aren’t answering the phone.

Fantastic experience: Always very friendly, as someone who has autism the dentist can be an overwhelming experience but the staff here always make me feel at ease.

Negative experience: This has been my dentist since I was 4 years old. I have gone regularly and had many treatments. I recently got diagnosed with a heart disorder on top of being in and out of hospital after becoming paralysed for 2 years. I accidentally missed one appointment due to me being in hospital which I called the next day and apologised for. I booked another one and on that day had to be put on medication for heart failure so I failed to attended. This dentist has told me that I can no longer go to this practice. They know my history already and my mom spoke to the owners and explained all of this and still she was told I could not go back. I am just ashamed that after years and years of consistency with appointments that they can ask someone to leave like that over events that could not have been prevented.

Bhupinder is a good listener and when he had assessed the problem we discussed the options open to me and their pros and cons. He was able to do the agreed treatment immediately with minimal discomfort, at a reasonable cost.

Harpreet is always so attentive and detailed with her examinations, in my particular case going beyond teeth to discuss and investigate jaw pain and grinding teeth habits. I appreciate you are informed of all treatments but never forced upsells. I have gone to a few different practices between my visits here over the past few years as I know longer live in Birmingham, but I have continued to travel and return as I have not found the same level of care and professionalism anywhere else.

Negative experience: I have been an NHS patient here since 1991 and have just been told, after numerous text messages to make an appointment, that I'm now a private patient as I've not been since the first lockdown. What with the lockdowns and my own poor health this is the first opportunity I've had to make an appointment and I feel I've been punished for this, especially when I was told to ring around and find another dentist!! The NHS is slowly being closed down and this is such a shame!!

From the cheery office receptionists, to the helpful dental nurses, to the professional, friendly & down to Earth dentists, hygienists & orthodontist. It’s exceptionally well run. Fantastic experience: I have started to have pretty bad dental anxiety in recent years, particularly around feeling like I couldn't swallow etc, and was really stressed about getting a filling. I explained how I felt to Bhupinder and he was so brilliant at calming me down. He was incredibly patient, allowing me to have breaks when I needed to, and the whole experience was completely fine!
