Fantastic experience: Smart, modern practice with excellent staff. I've seen 3 dentists and all have been careful and empathetic. A huge bonus is that they can offer sedation for more serious work - I've taken it once and it was worth every penny! It's pretty expensive overall, but then so are all the private dentists in Bath. It's a disgrace we have no NHS options, but in their absence I fully recommend Aqua Sulis (they have parking also!).

Fantastic experience: Imagine being told that you are likely to loose all your teeth in the next few years and experience ongoing pain and abscesses on a regular basis, due to severe gum disease. This was the dilemma I faced, my only option was the extraction of all teeth and a full set of dental implants. After I'd got over the shock and Ian had gently taken me and my husband through what would happen, including a comprehensive timeline and full disclosure of a treatment plan, I felt instantly I could put this massive and scary decision in the hands of a very capable team. In effect, I trusted them all, especially Ian, to not only achieve the outcome I wanted, but to support my whole wellbeing throughout the process. That initial good communication and respect between patient and practitioner continued throughout the treatment. It took 18 months of intense treatment, split into manageable stages to complete the work. I can't deny there were tears and low times, but Ian was always very considerate and keen to safeguard my dignity when the front teeth were removed by ensuring a temporary solution. I am now no longer afraid of eating what I want and I have the smile I longed for. This was a huge decision made all the more easy by a very professional and caring team from Ian to all the dental nurses, receptionist and Michelle the Office Manager. I thoroughly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending Aquae Sulis for at least 20 years, even though I have never lived in or near Bath. I followed my previous dentist when he moved here, claiming that it was probably the best dental practice in the southwest. In recent years I've been fortunate to have been looked after mainly by Ian Bellamy himself, who is a highly experienced and caring dentist. It's always a pleasure to visit because my dental problems are fixed promptly and expertly. Equally importantly, nothing is ever done unnecessarily, so I can be sure that the time and money are well-spent. All the other staff are also very good, especially Alistair, the dentist who made a great job of my recent urgent filling when Ian was away. Aquae Sulis is definitely the best dental practice in my experience.

The staff are all so friendly and very welcoming. It’s has a very pleasant atmosphere and you are treated with care and professionalism. The treatment you receive is always outstanding. I always relaxed in no time of entering the room Ian is very good at making you not feel anxious and always talks you through what he is doing. The treatment I’ve had is brilliant as I have TMJ and suffered for years until I found Aquae Sulis Dentist now my condition is manageable. The hygienist staff are also very friendly and professional.
