Negative experience: I had Invisalign treatment at this dental clinic and, unfortunately, my experience has been quite disappointing. While the process initially seemed straightforward, I later discovered several hidden costs that were never made clear at the start. After completing my treatment, I was given a retainer that broke after just two months of nightly use. When I contacted the clinic, I was told a replacement would cost £160. Later, I was quoted £360 for a set, which made no sense to me — especially considering the poor quality and the fact that mine had already broken so quickly. The only alternative offered was the Invisalign Vivera retainers at over £500, which felt excessive and left me with little real choice. I’ve also experienced slight bleeding between my teeth since finishing treatment, which had never happened before. To make matters worse, a small gap remained at the end of my Invisalign course. Rather than properly correcting it with additional aligners, the dentist simply filled it with some kind of paste. This felt like a temporary fix, not a lasting solution, especially after such a significant investment. I regularly attend my dentist for routine care, and they have confirmed that the bleeding in my tooth is due to pressure from my Invisalign treatment. They referred me back to you regarding the tooth where a gap was filled with paste. Whenever I raised my concerns, I was made to feel like a nuisance rather than a valued patient. Between the hidden costs, lack of transparency, and unsatisfactory results, I cannot say I am impressed with this clinic. If I could turn back time, I would have chosen a different dentist — or even opted for composite bonding instead.

Fantastic experience: I haven’t been to dentist for years due to childhood trauma which made me very apprehensive about visiting a dentist. My first initial visit was for my front tooth which was chipped and it took a lot of courage to visit this practice. After my first visit I rebooked for a full check up without hesitation, although I was anxious and kept calling the dental practice asking questions Abbie was very calm and reassuring. I went for my dental check up yesterday and again, I was very anxious but the team was so understanding and we ended up having a laugh to take my mind off being in the chair. If you are anxious about visiting the dentist, give them a call to visit for an initial chat, you will soon leave booking an appointment! Without these guys I wouldn’t overcome my fear of visiting a dentist and I have rebooked for 6 months time.

Fantastic experience: Amazing service!! Went to Dr Ashwin Bechar first time with my mum. I loved how he engaged with her. I decided to have my gap closed so went to Dr Bechar for consultation. Again, he was warm, reassuring and full of humour!!!. I decided to go with Oxley park dental practice because i felt at home. From Sophie to Tracey to Dr Bechar, I felt I could trust them with this big change i wanted for myself. Thry were accomodating when I needed to reschedule my appointments. Fantastic experience: Dr Bechar has restored my faith in Dentists!! I left my previous dentist (no names mentioned) as I don’t feel I was being given the best treatment for the issues I was having. My friend who is a dental nurse highly recommended Dr Bechar. I’m a nervous patient so was willing to give him a try…I had nothing to fear, he reassured me, talked me through the process and not once have I felt any pain!! He also has a great sense of humour which always helps if you’re a little anxious! My only regret is that I didn’t see him sooner!

Fantastic experience: This practice is close to where we live: it takes us about 5 minutes to drive to it and were we younger we would walk there. Dr Bechar, Sophie and Tracey have offered to my wife and myself services that are kind, empathetic and skilled. Like most people, we find going to the dentist is a mixed experience, during which we are glad to receive therapeutic treatment but not so happy when it is painful! We appreciate the practice's use of modern technology to investigate, record and diagnose the problems we have, as nonagenarians, in our mouths. We are grateful for the sound advice we receive on the spot and the clear online communications we have with the practice. Although the treatment is costly, we are willing to pay the price.

Fantastic experience: It's a really comfortable and nurturing environment - not corporate like I'd expect private dentistry and not condescending like my experience of many NHS dentists. I previously was put off dental visits and orthodontics because I was told to come back when I'd quit smoking and found I couldn't get the care I needed because of this stigma. Dr Bechar was understanding of the difficulties I'd had with smoking cessation, and although he continued to encourage me to kick the habit, did not make me feel judged.

Fantastic experience: I'd visited a lot of orthodontist in the last year or so. When I met Dr Ashwin, he made me feel at ease straight away, he made me a promise that we'd achieve everything I ever wanted in my smile, and with flick of wrist and some tools I have what i have always wanted, a smile that I no longer need to hide.
