Fantastic experience: Thanks for another perfect visit to the practice last week. As usual a 5 star service received. Jasmine/Jess my dentist is superb! Asking questions relating to any concerns I may have. It is always appreciated. She is always approachable and very positive. Her new assistant (Chelsea) was polite, kind and very pleasant. Mind!! I shall miss Sally (aka Elaine) on my treatment visits. She has a smiley disposition which is valuable especially when someone is nervous or has anxiety like myself. Glad to see this practice continues to value their staff whilst rotating them in a wide variety of roles. I certainly recommend this practice hands down. I have other practices much closer to my home but I prefer to travel to this one; as I love the family friendly service they provide.

Negative experience: The dentist did a great job, however the manager and after care from the management was shocking. I was due a refund for work paid for that I didn't require, and still haven't received payment 2 months later. I've rang the surgery on numerous occasions and the manager doesn't even bother to speak to me themselves, I feel fobbed off which is shocking service.

Fantastic experience: Went to the dentist for a checkup and a hygienist appointment .The staff were so considerate, I have had some not so great experiences at the dentist and it's always a little nerve racking but honestly if the experience were always like this, the nervousness would disappear.
Fantastic experience: Very welcoming efficient practice. I'm happy with all my dentist appointments. All members of staff both clinical and administrative are very kind and helpful. I was recommended to join this practice after being in a private only practice which I'd been a member for over 40 years many of them as a private patient but when my monthly plan was constantly being increased I did not think it was value for the money it was costing me. I can honestly say I'm more pleased with the service I get from. Riverdale and would definitely recommend thd practice.

Fantastic experience: My treatment was first class but the booking system online need an overhaul.
Fantastic experience: We as a family have been coming to this dental practice for 30+ years, although the name has changed several times it has always been consistent in giving us the highest quality dental care possible, from welcoming us at reception to the treatment and care given are excellent, Jasmine is our dentist and a shout for Elaine ( dental nurse manager) who always has a smile and greeting for us, we are so lucky.
Negative experience: This practise has went down hill since I last attended receptionists are rude staff are unprofessional and they now make you pay up front for work you haven't had done yet and put pressure on you to pay and book there and then! Not friendly also my check up lasted around 5 mins very rushed felt like they wanted rid of you! Not a great service customer service skills need a lot of work if I didn't have to go back to get my filling I wouldn't be returning! Lots of new staff there the old dentists were lovely and had time for you but it all seems to have changed now :(
Fantastic experience: Very grateful to Nicola, who made me feel very comfortable with what could have been a very scary/painful procedure. She explained what was happening the whole time through and I was given excellent after care advice. Feeling lucky to have such a good dentist!
Negative experience: the service is the worst just a checkup not dental hygienist. Why cutback so the patient can suffer the pain. Why can't you not open another practice there's too many people no emergency dental space. Things need to go back like the times of smith dentist. Needs improvement of service. Riverdale Healthcare is worst, I wish smith and Smith came back again they were best. You can't even organised the appointment. If your really ill you can't cancel the same. That shouldn't impact the attendance you put the effort to call. It should be 1 hour notice nevermind 48 hour notice. we can't even call you weekend. Monday needs to be allowed cause you can't call weekend to give them a notice. How designed the forms are worst. It should have said universal credit paying or free option. It silly on your form. You create alot confusion. alot people UC going to get confused for no reason. Who ever design the form needs to better job to save confusion.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic service. Receptionist was super helpful getting me in. Treatment was friendly and efficient. Nothing but praise for the practice.
Negative experience: I have been a patient with this practice for 35 + years (changed names many times ) and until recently has been fine , however in my opinion the practice is in decline in more ways than one (dentures returned unfinished)and therefore would most certainly not recommend ,

I have always had reservations about attending dentists in the past however the advice, treatment and whole experience at Regent Terrace Dental Practice is second to none. I am that confident in the work of Rach & Ali that my family are all registered here and we make a 30min drive for appointments. We wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Negative experience: They don't take care of you at all if you don't pay, I was told that they no longer receive patients from the NHS, but I've been registered with them for two years, absolutely disappointing. It's not even worth a star and I'm going to change what I advise you too.
Fantastic experience: Dr Kanaa was so lovely and patient with my Mum who has dementia, I would highly recommend him for painfree treatment and his lovely kind manner.

Negative experience: This practice is absolutely appalling. Sat waiting for ages and when finally got called in, the appalling dental technician rolled her eyes while calling out my name. Not only was I made to wait for hours, on top of that had to deal with this disgusting behaviour. She must've thought I didn't see her, but I full well clearly saw what she did. If you want patients to leave the practice satisfied, then practice to be a kind person and treat people with respect. If you're a white British person, you get treat with full well respect, but if not, the way they speak to you and try to look down on you is disgusting. If I encounter this again, I will be taking it further. The receptionist sits there and mostly talks on the phone in some form of 'secret language' to the technicians who are literally next door to the reception rather trying to deal with the patients who are in line to be booked in etc. Be kind and respectful to the patients who come to your practice!

Negative experience: This use to be a good service not any more they don't care unless your a paying customer ,had filling on Wednesday morning Friday afternoon it broke off , promised a call back never came ,have to wait till 2nd of October with a broken wisdom tooth ,told of reception everyone has to wait , disgusting service, especially when its there fault

Negative experience: I had appointment for 10:30am today. I booked this appointment 3 months ago just to find out today I have to pay for this check. Nobody told me in advance and I couldn't get my check because I didn't take any money with me. I know that the checks are free, but if they told me in advance I could be prepared. Very bad experience. I will looking to check the dentist as this is not so professional. You should told the people in advance for any payment not in the last minute.

Fantastic experience: I had such anxiety about my teeth after and accident and what medication had done to them but from day one I was put at total ease and knew within the 1st conversation I was in good hands. The dentist did an amazing job I'd built it up in my head how they would eventually look but that was supast and the lady who did them Nicola is such a professional I can't thank the guys enough not only do I have my smile back I've got my life back. Negative experience: FURIOUS!! The staff are lovely but that’s not why I’m annoyed .. So I’ve have 2 checks ups and got told everything is fine .. I change my dentist after having a check up and 10 days after have another one at my new dentist. TO BE TOLD MY GUMS NEED CLEANED AFTER BEING TOLD EVERYTHING IS FINE!!!!

Fantastic experience: Been going here for years although missed the last couple of years , been back today and saw Rachael and Elaine ,going to the dentist is never a pleasure but I felt in safe hands and as always made to feel very welcome Rachael is by far tge best Dentist I have ever been to .Thank you to the amazing staff .

Positive experience: I have been with this dental practice over 30 years due to my mobility at times I was unable to attend appointments and kept putting me with a dentist that had a lot of stairs where I struggled. During lock down I managed to get to see a dentist as an emergency appointment on the same day and couldn’t be happier for the great care and services. Now I’ve had tooth ache since Saturday. I’ve been calling the dentist for an appointment advised to call at 9am for an emergency appointment. This morning called at 9am answer machine said it was closed. 9.03am receptionist answered and advised me there is no emergency appointments advised me to send photo and the dentist will take a look. So basically you struggle with pain for another day ring and still once again no emergency appointments.

Positive experience: I have attended Regent Terrace dentist from the earliest date of Mr and Mrs Smith which is over 40 years. I have had some absolute great service from the reception and dentists. On my recent visit whilst in the waiting room I noticed four spotlights were not working together with bulbs in the centre light were off. I believe this lowers the standard of the service you give and is unprofessional needing urgent maintenance attention. Davey Hall

Fantastic experience: I have bn coming to this dentist for many years. I am always made to feel welcome. Staff are friendly and Rachel our family dentist is so friendly and professional. She always explains everything and helps to make u less anxious. Alison her dental nurse is also very friendly and helps to make it a good experience. I would recommend this practise to anyone

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency appointment after excruciating pain all weekend. For someone with a phobia of the dentist. They handled me extremely well. Made me laugh for the first time while in a dentist chair really helping me to be as comfortable as possible in the situation I was in. Joanna & Ali credit to you guys so much for taking away my pain

Fantastic experience: I have been attending this practice for many years and am comfortable because I know most people who work there. The team are friendly and, as someone who doesn't like visiting the dentist, they always put me at my ease.

Positive experience: The dental care I received over the years has been good (hence the 3 stars and not 1 star) but my latest experience with them left a lot to be desired. I called 2 days ago, having tooth ache and an absess in my mouth and the receptionist dismissed me, telling me that there were no appointments until April. When I explained the situation, I was told that I had to call 111 or go to Newcastle Dental Hospital. I tried some of the local dentists in my area, and thankfully I was offered an appointment. All the dental practices I spoke to agreed that I should have been offered an emergency appointment. It's a pity that I'll have to stop using this practice as a result of a rude and dismissive receptionist, but I hope this review is taken into consideration for the benefit of the other patients.

Negative experience: I’m very unhappy with the experience I received at my appointment. The dentist jasmine was in a rush and told me my tooth was cracked without giving me an X-ray and said I need to remove the tooth or have a filling she gave me a temporary filling on top of an old filling without cleaning the tooth or anything I really wanted to get an X-ray just to be clear about what step to take. Even if she could have booked me in for another day

Negative experience: After asking for an emergency appointment and being made to walk there twice (I wasn’t allowed to fill paperwork online or inside) was told couldn’t have one until January. Totally incompetent.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful staff and service. I explained how anxious I get at the dentist and with injections and the dentist and nurse couldn't have been more accommodating, caring and lovely in general. I can't recommend enough!
Fantastic experience: After searching dentists in the area to see who did implants I decided on perfect smile Gateshead and I couldn't be happier! From start to finish, their professionalism, friendliness and expertise are top notch. The dentist who did the treatment is called Eassun and his lovely dental assistant Courtney made me feel at ease from the start. Everything was explained, from the payment options to the process of what would happen during each treatment and the timescale. After the first visit where Eassun numbed my gums (and I didn't feel a thing) I new I was in good hands. He also replaced a filling which was beginning to discolour and it looks like a new tooth. He suggested teeth whitening too which has made a huge difference. Now that the treatments finished, I am left with a perfect (white) smile without any gaps thanks to the first class job. I have my confidence back! Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Moved about a year ago with Perfect Smile due to a painful abscess which led me to decide to have an implant installed after the treatment, which was very clearly explained and efficiently managed. I've had it installed for about 4 months now and I'm very happy about the results! Great communication with clear professional explanations, but also very friendly staff, they always make you feel relaxed even if you are a bit worried. A special thanks to doctor Eassun who has followed my treatment the most over the past year.

Fantastic experience: I was visiting from New York and needed some emergency dental work. Dr Eassun was totally awesome making me feel at ease and explaining what he was doing every step of the way to get me fixed up. Afterwards he gave me a personal consultation showing where with minor adjustments could make major improvements... Next thing i know we made a plan and I returned the following week to finish the job! Could not be happier with how it looks (who knew i would return from holiday with a better smile than i left with!), I wish he would open up a practice in NYC ASAP!
Negative experience: Left this practice recently after being a patient for years Its never quite been the same since perfect smile took over. The final straw was the treatment/judgemental attitude received at my last appointment by a Male dentist. Moved to a new professional practice- wished I done this years ago!

Fantastic experience: I recently moved to Gateshead and so have chosen Perfect Smile as my dental surgery. I am not a fan of going to the dentist (I mean who is?!) and have had lots of bad experiences and unreliable dentists in my life. However my faith has been restored since coming to this surgery. I am seen by Dr Jasmine, who is a lovely woman and is very gentle, informative and made me feel safe and comfortable. I had three fillings fitted today and was initially very nervous but I felt I was in good hands and actually felt extremely relaxed throughout the whole procedure. I’m usually someone who lies there with my eyes wide open watching everything the dentist does however today I was so relaxed and chilled out I just lay back with my eyes closed and was very comfortable. Definitely would recommend this surgery, try and get Jasmine if you can!!!!!
