Fantastic experience: Dr. KARAM is extremely skilled and made the entire procedure comfortable and stress-free. Highly recommend!!!

Positive experience: It seems that our particular dentist is ALWAYS late. I don't mean just running late for appointments but late for work as a whole! We always book the first appointments to ensure that it has minimal impact to our working day but also because we have to take our toddler out of nursery. 75% of the appointments we've booked the dentist hasn't been in the building and instead has been "stuck" in traffic! The same traffic that we also have to drive through and yet we can be on time. The time can range from being told ten minutes (which it never is, its always longer) to over an hour. If this were my place of work I'd be having a disciplinary but maybe that's the difference between wanting to have pride is a workplace and knowing that you have behave how you like as there are limited alternative options.

Fantastic experience: Amazing dentist!! Massive shout out to Junaid, he was very calming and patient with me as I have always been petrified of going to the dentist. Launa at reception was also very welcoming and helpful before and after my appointment.

Negative experience: Worst experience all the time. Every time I book appointments for kids, we always 5 minutes before our appointment time and we have to wait for 30mins or more every time for them to call us in for our appointment. I had to choose a star for posting this otherwise they don’t deserve a single star at all for this dental center.

Fantastic experience: Dr Karam Lalli is brilliant. Not only is he extremely competent technically , but he is also very kind, empathetic, reassuring and has a great bedside manner. He never appears rushed and always explains things very well. I have had a lot of dental work previously and would say that I am quite a nervous patient, and a bit scared of needles and pain . Dr Lalli’s excellent local anaesthetics and understanding make my treatment so much better than I anticipate. The reception staff are helpful and efficient. I would recommend this dental practice

I have been frightened about going to the dentist from having a very bad experience as a little girl and I struggled to attend regular appointments. I would think of any excuse not to go in. Dr Samah and Humira have been so kind and caring towards me. I now see them regularly, everything is explained and they constantly check I’m ok, reassuring me I can stop them anytime. Dr Samah is very gentle and no matter how many times I ask a question or ask to stop she always takes time to calm me down. Asking when I’m ready to start again. They chat to me and keep conversation light and fun making me smile. Highly recommend a visit to see them if you are anxious in any way. Thank you Dr Samah and Humira for helping me with my anxiety and looking after my teeth.

Fantastic experience: Had both my check up and hygienist appointment today 04/02/25. Not very impressed with the new dentist but I have to say my hygienist Mahvukh is excellent!! She takes the time to listen and explains everything she’s doing. She also puts you at ease and is great at advising you on ways to either maintain or improve your oral health.

Negative experience: Disappointed with the receptionist who told a pregnant lady she wasn’t entitled to free treatment until she went on maternity leave and received her exemption certificate. And she could make her an appointment but she would be charged. In fact GP, health visitor or midwife can apply for certificate as soon as they confirm you are pregnant!

Negative experience: Visited today, as a NHS patient, to have a hygiene appointment. This appointment has been postponed once, due to Practice/ staff unavailability and re-booked under "NHS Check Up", which length is of 15 minutes. The hygiene was done by a dentist, under 5 minutes, without an explanation of the procedure or questions asked. It was painful, left my gums bleeding and sore. There was no advice or explanation given. I was instructed to rinse my mouth and leave. I understand patients can present with bleeding gums, but should be the role of the healthcare professional to educate about dental care and oral hygiene. Should also be in the healthcare professional's conduct to be sensitive to the pain the patient is expressing, explain what's happening and possibly apologise for side effects or harm done. Poor service.

But they made me feel really comfortable from the get go, Dr Naeem was always keeping me informed of what was going to happen next and how it might feel. She was incredibly professional, quick, and had a warm, friendly demeanor that made me and my son feel at ease. What truly impressed me was how they handled my 5-year-old son's first dental visit. The staff went out of their way to make him feel comfortable and relaxed. In fact before the visit my son said he is a bit scared to see the dentist. Negative experience: Extremely rude and unhelpful practice, been waiting for referral since may and paid money which they refuse to pay back despite several calls later they just hang up or try to speak over you ,also paid half for a mouth guard which has never been supplied.

Negative experience: The worst dentist I’ve ever had the displeasure of having to deal with. Will make you book multiple private appointments at exorbitant rates for a referral to find out two years later it hasn’t been done. Disgusting practice the very obviously care more about getting money for appointments than actually sorting patients health. When going in to ask about this I’m told I can have a call back Thursday but refuse to give anything in writing that this will actually happen… will update Thursday to see if they call back.

Positive experience: There has been a marked decline over the last few months , appointments never on time or last minute cancellations due to illness or X-ray equipment not working, I can’t complain about the dental care , but I have to say it feels a little hit and miss at the moment.

Negative experience: Extremely rude and argumentative receptionists, cancel appointments minutes before then mark as not attended, Dentists themselves are very attentive though which is a shame - UPDATE!!! Spoken with the manager since (under new management) who seemed helpful and happy to resolve previous issues however owner of practise clearly doesn’t believe in freedom of speech so no removal of this review, no appointment apparently ‍♀️

Positive experience: I have been at this surgery for a few years and everything seems to run fairly smoothly. A couple of years ago I got Invisalign treatment done and Majid has been very thorough in following the treatment plan and ensuring the results are maintained even after the treatment has finished. He is always very friendly and has been encouraging me to bring my young son with me to get him used to visiting the dentist, which seems a great idea and I am impressed by his proactivity. All of the staff have always been polite and friendly whenever I’ve been in. You have to put down quite a large deposit before seeing the hygienist which I found a little odd seeing as I’d already spent thousands of pounds in private dental care there very recently, but I guess not a problem as long as you turn up for your appointment. Overall, good service.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended this practice by a family friend and not disappointed at all! Simply excellent service throughout! Every single person I came across from booking my appointment with Alisha on the phone, being checked in by Diana are genuinely nice ,polite and caring. The dentist ( sorry I cannot remember the name ) a tall young man was very calming and explained everything with all possible treatment options. After ringing my own dentist and others without any luck, I called and got an appointment. The staff were very polite and helpful and the building very modern and clean. Fantastic experience: Dr Sunil Kaura has been incredible from both professional and personal perspectives. He has helped me to heal some unpleasant issues, and gave extremely detailed guidance which after I followed resulted in fast healing. Personally, I experienced him as an extremely nice and friendly person and it is always a pleasure to see him. Although I have to do a bit of travel to get to the clinic, I will keep doing so without hesitation.

Positive experience: Really polite service from front of house. Good to know: Shinfield Dental have said to me that they will begin to completely phase out their NHS work and go 100% private in the near future. It's a shame but I guess one of those things.

Negative experience: Bad experience in simple filling job, suffering really bad pain for a week now. never coming back... They don't even provide any documentation of consultation, on asking only x-ray images were provided that too bad quality.. Highly unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: I had a procedure here yesterday to remove a damaged wisdom tooth and could not recommend this practise enough. Originally my appointment was on Monday and he said he could do the removal there and then but I wasn’t quite ready. I am extremely nervous going to the dentist but I was looked after so well by everyone. The receptionist let me take my time, made me a glass of water and the dentist was so encouraging. He promised me it would take “seconds” and it quite literally did. There was no pain from the injections because he made such an effort and the whole experience was nothing as I imagined. They also did it at the end of the day at 5pm after they had closed because he didn’t want me to be in pain anymore! I would not be nervous to have another procedure done at this practise by this dentist. Sadly I didn’t catch his name.

Negative experience: For a practice who’s website claims they make such a big deal about caring for the customer and being helpful I just spoke to the least helpful receptionist I’ve ever had the displeasure to deal with. I asked if the surgery was taking new patients and I got a reply of ‘No’. That’s it. Nothing else. I was shut down when I enquired further about advice for finding a local dentist who was taking new patients. To be honest I’m glad they’re full! I wouldn’t want to have to deal with that every time I go for a check up!

Negative experience: Awful experience at this dentist. £75 for a hygienist appointment which was 15 mins late and then I was rushed through the appt with it lasting no more than 10 mins. Since then I have given the practice this feedback privately multiple times and no one has bothered to get in touch with me. Will not be using this practice ever again.

Positive experience: Good Morning, I've been trying to call your business line since 9am this morning and after 1 hour had no luck, I had a appointment at 11am today but was calling to cancel, I wasn't able to leave a voice message either.

Negative experience: Extremely money orientated, that's honestly all they care about. The manager of this place is also a joke..very unprofessional and abrupt.

Fantastic experience: Working away in the area . Spent two days trying to get an emergency appointment at other Dental practices. Shinfield phoned me to inform they had a slot for me . Could not of been more happy. The service I received was second to none . Ended up having a extraction . I was very well advised by the dentist. It was a tough ' job ' but the dentist was very professional and caring . Eventually the tooth lost and I am pain free . I'm sorry I didn't get the dentist ( may of been Dr Kaura ) and dental nurses name but thank you very much . Very satisfied patient
