Fantastic experience: I required a dentist with easy access as I am disabled.I had fallen and broken two lower teeth After much research I found the Cyncoed Dental Practice I was greeted by two smiling receptionists in a very smart modern building Jane, my dentist was very thorough and professional and immediately put me at ease. I required two root extractions and two teeth added to an existing denture I felt no pain during the procedure or after and the new dentures were ready after two days! I recommend the Practice to anyone looking for a new dentist

Negative experience: Response: My review was more than fair. I was describing my experience as a customer who interacted over the phone. Yes, my phone calls were avoided and I know that for sure. Since posting this review, the polite lady I initially spoke to reached out to me with an apology and offered a free treatment. I appreciated that, but I've already gone to another place and had a wonderful experience there. Up until that point I actually respected the efforts to please your customers. Then some other manager calls me and tries to pressure me into having a phone call with her and now you're telling me my review wasn't "fair" - I don't have a camera watching you guys, how would I know about the details?? All I know is my experience. You can't say it's "not fair". Now please get over it because I already have, thank you! Will continue going to the other place where they treated me with the utmost respect from start to finish Since this place has such good reviews, I wanted to get my Hydrafacial appointment here. The lady who initially spoke to me over the phone was very polite and told me they would be calling me back to let me know about the availability of appointments. The lady who called me back, however, seemed very unnatural, as if she's not used to communicating with clients over the phone. When I told her I wanted to pay the deposit online, she was almost dumbfounded. Speechless, as if I had said something very strange or unheard of. I went to try to book the appointment online and pay the deposit, however could not find the mentioned appointment on the website (which is very typical, and is the reason I made sure to call and ask about the appointment in the first place). I tried calling again to communicate that, however the very polite lady kept hanging up after letting the phone ring for a little bit. The service you provide at this practice may be really good, I'll never know; but if this is the kind of person that's going to be at the forefront, representing you and dealing with clients, then that's very unfortunate indeed. You need to have communication skills. The ability to communicate with all kinds of people, from all kinds of backgrounds. Otherwise I don't think you should be picking up the phone if one miscommunication makes you feel so awkward that you hang up on the person every time they call. You're an adult, not a child. Nothing bad to say about the other lady who spoke to me though

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to Cyncoed dentist after my brother recommended them. I’ve had Invisalign treatment, multiple hygiene appointments and just recently composite bonding. My experience has been unbelievably good - the staff here are so professional and very particular about the service they deliver. Before coming to Cyncoed, I was self conscious about my smile but now, after having the treatments, I can’t stop smiling and it’s all thanks to the services this dentist has provided. Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience at Cyncoed Dental Practice with the brilliant Dr Zena who has been able to give me the smile I always wanted. She advised using Invisalign to move my teeth into a better position and I’ve been incredibly impressed with the results. I particularly loved how discreet the braces were with the added benefit of being able to take them out at mealtimes! All of the staff are so knowledgable and friendly, it really makes going to the dentist a lovely experience.

Fantastic experience: I had my teeth completely transformed by Dr Zena with Invisalign treatment, I couldn’t be happier with the results, I’ve had people ask me if I’ve had veneers!I’ve also had my skin transformed with the hydrafacial done by Dr Zena! Dr Zena was incredible in taking care of my teeth, I was apprehensive that Invisalign would make my teeth weaker and more sensitive as I already suffered from sensitive and receding gums, I was pleasantly shocked to find that it was quite the opposite, Zena made sure my teeth stayed protected, and now not only are they perfectly straight, but my gums are far less sensitive and improved receding gums! Dr Zena made sure I had the most cost efficient pricing and even gave me a discount! Every appointment ran smoothly, I couldn’t be happier! She also made sure that the Invisalign widened my smile and helped to fix my underbite without any extra hassle or cost! The only dental practice I would go to and trust! Also, best hygienist I’ve been to! Sarah Lou always makes my hygienist experience so pleasant and easy going, and the condition of my teeth has vastly improved since going every 6 months to see her! Dr Zena has personalised the hydrafacial to suit my skin concerns so well, my skin is looking incredible after struggling with persistent acne! Shes also given me lots of free samples of skincare and a collagen drink! Everytime i visit cyncoed dental I feel like they really truly care about my concerns and will do the most they can to meet every need! I will continue going for all future treatments! Also extremely clean and aesthetically pleasing environment! Feels much more of a boujee experience than your typical dentist practice!

Fantastic experience: High recommend this practice for Invisalign! I’m nearing the end of my treatment plan for Invisalign and I can’t recommend the practice enough. I hated smiling before and now catch myself in the mirror and can’t believe the difference in my smile and I haven’t come to the end of the treatment plan yet. Dr Zena took time to plan my treatment and honestly couldn’t recommend her enough. I’m not a huge fan of dental treatment but Dr Zena put me at ease and clearly explained each stage to me. The practice itself is beautiful! All the team are really welcoming and I’d highly recommend Cyncoed Dental Practice for Invisalign treatment.

Negative experience: Went in to get a second scan done with the dentist for my aligners. The dentist refused a rescan even though my teeth had shifted since the last scan. I explained this and after some back and forth was told to come in for my appointment with no promises of a scan. When I went in the appointment was late, as usual. When I was finally seen I was shouted at for ten minutes about how the dentist experiences issues with the company I bought my aligners with. I asked several times for her to take that up with the company not myself. The clinician then began to blame the confusion on me, going between laughing and shouting quite frantically. I kept asking we just get this done so I can leave. On the way out I asked the receptionist for the managers number, discreetly, so as not to rattle the clinician. The receptionist informed the clinician right away, who then came chasing me down to tell me she’s acting as manager today so I can talk to her about it. I told her I would rather talk to someone else when I return, she was quite pushy but after telling her no a few times she moved on to talk to the receptionist about how she’s now going to call the company I get my aligners with and tell them ‘they’ve cause a lot of trouble’.

Fantastic experience: I have regular appointments with this practise. It is simply a standout dental practise. I am every nervous about any treatment but have learned to trust in the very capable and experienced Jane Henly. Myself (and Partner) have seen Jane for quite some years now. In our opinion she is so reassuring and methodical - can't fault her, always goes the extra mile in treatment, advice and follow up, if needed. Can't recommend this practise highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I was in agony for about 2 weeks before I went to Cyncoed Dental Practice, thinking it was an ear infection. I called and spoke to Britney who was really helpful and got me in to be seen straight away. Having not been to a dentist for years down to fear, I can safely say I was looked after from the minute I walked in to now. My impacted wisdom tooth was dealt with quickly and painlessly. Anthony and Britney were awesome with me and really put me at ease. If I could give more than 5* I would.

Fantastic experience: I had a bit of a panic this morning regarding my dental health and was extremely stressed, until I rang and spoke to Leanne. She was wonderful on the phone, empathetic and kind, and she assured me she would seek advice and call back within the hour. Of course an hour later she did call back, not only with advice but with the offering of a last minute appointment that had come up due to a cancellation. Sarah was also great in my appointment, very friendly and reassuring, answered all of my questions and explained things really clearly for me. I felt so much better after the appointment and feel that a great deal of that was due to the wonderful team at the practice

Fantastic experience: I took a long time to make a decision as to whether or not go through with the procedure as I didn’t want to wear aligners for the rest of my life and was worried about receding gums and sensitivity. I had two options whether to remove a tooth or have filing. Zena was extremely patient with me and talked in detail about the options. The only regret I have is not going sooner! I am absolutely over the moon with the end result and have been so pleased with the lovely care I have had! Zena is a perfectionist and was happy to answer any questions I had! I have already recommended Cyncoed Practice to many friends and family and will continue to go there to look after my teeth and maybe even dip into the amazing skincare!

The dentists and other staff at Cyncoed Dental Practice have completely squashed those worries and treated me so well. They are extremely professional and friendly, always ensuring you are comfortable during examinations and any procedures, using very modern equipment. You will be given advice and shown where you are going wrong with your personal dental care which is really helpful! The staff are wonderful, exceeded expectations and I really wish I made the move earlier in my life to Cyncoed Dental Practice! Thank you!

Negative experience: Disappointed in my last experience at this dental practice. Called to book an appointment as I was having problems with my teeth and was given an appointment for nearly 3 weeks later. No issues here, however after my appointment I was charged for an emergency appointment because the dentist decided to fill my holes instead of just do a check up. Well had I known I would be charged for an emergency appointment after waiting 3 weeks of course I would not accept to have any work done but they did not communicate this to me and their website states emergency appointments will be seen same day. So how they can charge me for that is absolutely ridiculous. When I called up, the receptionist tried to justify the reasoning which made absolutely no logical sense and tried to tell me I was confused! They did not refund me or apologise for their mistake but decided to not charge me for a dental check up for the next appointment. Which I did not want to go to after my terrible experience but now had to to get my money's worth I suppose. Not only that but the dentist I saw said she would email me a plan of the work I need and pricing but nearly a month later and I have received nothing. Absolutely unprofessional and just money grabbing people. Also I am a mother to a new baby and when I asked if my husband could wait with the baby in the reception area on a boiling hot day (we had to walk, no car and we live a bit far) the receptionist said there wasn't any spare chairs. Well there was a spare chair right next to the one I was sat on so my husband waited outside under the sun with the baby. Honestly I would give zero stars if i could. I will never use this dental practice again and I do not recommend them. If you want to be scammed out of your hard earned money then visit them if not I would look for a more honest and professional dental practice.
