Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Dr Nicola Gore for so many years and she is the only dentist that I would ever go to. There is absolutely no one like Dr Gore. She has the perfect combination of being gentle with her hands, with absolute precision and expertise. As a plus I always walk away feeling inspired because she is constantly developing her skills both professionally and personally. If you are looking for a totally trustworthy dentist that is outstanding in her abilities then Dr Gore is the 100% the dentist for you. My late Mother used to come here and also see Matt Sayer as well as Dr Gore. She would rave about them both and with very good reason! Matt is also very kind and so highly skilled. I highly recommend this practice! I can't speak highly enough about the ethics and care here!

Fantastic experience: What a pleasure it is to visit the Totteridge Dental Studio when you have Dr. Gore, Dr. Zoh and Mr. (Matthew) Sayar looking after you, and I really mean that. My dental and hygienist appointments have been nothing short of transformative…my only regret is that I didn’t switch my dental service provider to TDS sooner. Another aspect that I really like is the continuity and regularity of the team, as at my previous dental clinic it felt like I had a new dentist at every visit. It’s great to have stability and continuity, as that aspect is one of the many that will keep me going back to TDS. On top of the excellent customer service, the actual experience and treatment is caring, friendly, professional and technically innovative. When I walked in, the receptionist was very friendly, I had a very thorough check up with Dr Gore, her and her nurse Oulker were very kind, helpful and professional. I also had an amazing teeth clean by Dr Matt. The team are extremely educated in what they do and very friendly. They gave me free toothpaste samples and expert advice on brushing and teeth. I had experienced severe and complex trauma to the face in 2023 and there was significant reconstructive dental work needed as a result - Dr Gore and the Team have been instrumental in putting a treatment plan together for me, put me in touch with relevant maxillofacial teams, and have been by my side throughout the whole journey. Highly skilled, great quality output and procedures, delivered with clarity and sensitivity. Fantastic experience: Almost a ‘joy’, a ‘Safe’ Dentist, who’s thorough, takes time explain procedures in comprehensible language, answers inane nervous questions quietly & diligently. Fantastic experience: I am a big fan of this dentist, I highly recommend them - Dr Gore has done a few of my fillings now (including correcting a poorly done one that I got on the NHS years ago) and her work is exceptional. I feel she genuinely cares about my dental well-being and does not pressure into unnecessary work. The team are all very friendly and professional. Bupa covers my costs but even without it I would still come here because the costs are very good for the standard of care they provide.

Negative experience: I regret massively having work done by the dentist at this surgery, which I used after the COVID-19 pandemic, when unable to secure an appointment with my NHS dentist. During one of the appointments here, I was supposed to have replacement of white fillings on my front teeth. The dentist however took it upon herself to shave down my front teeth to achieve a rounded shape, resulting in shorter and narrower teeth. This procedure has left me with an unnatural, unattractive smile that is incompatible with my facial structure, prominently displaying my canine teeth while rendering my central incisors barely visible when I smile naturally. At no point did the dentist communicate her intention to perform such drastic alterations. She failed to obtain my consent for the significant reshaping and resizing of my front teeth. Considering my already small teeth and my history of bruxism, which she was aware of, I would never have agreed to further shortening of my teeth. The dentist only mentioned rounding the corners, which led me to believe she was merely removing excess filling material, not healthy tooth structure. When I later raised my concerns, I was dismissively told that I was "imagining it”. Furthermore, when I requested before and after pictures to review the changes, the surgery provided only one after picture, which showed my teeth overlapping, thus hiding the results. I had to persistently remind them that numerous photographs of my teeth existed. Following the advice of the Dental Complaints Service, I lodged an official complaint, which resulted in a refund for the work done. However, this does not compensate for the negative impact. Every time I look in the mirror, I am filled with regret and am now ashamed to smile. Other dental professionals I consulted after for remedial work, were left baffled by this dentist’s decision to perform this irreversible procedure. This unnecessary intervention has prematurely aged my teeth, causing damage that would have taken decades to occur naturally. As a former healthcare worker myself, I expected better. I am also facing to pay hundreds of pounds on cosmetic bonding on my front teeth repeatedly throughout my life.

Negative experience: I had done filling for 6 months ago and last week it was broken. Afterwards, I went to the dentist to understand why it was broken very early but their explanation is so weird. Also, they wanted to charge me again extra cost and tried to sell something that could not solve my current problem. Their behaviour and approach did not represent professionalism. By the way, I have been four fillings that were made at different times but the last one that was made belongs to them was broken and this case is a good example of how poor quality the work is.
