Fantastic experience: Very friendly and approachable dentists, put my mind at ease and very good with my kids when they were little

Positive experience: I had a scale and polish with Javeria. I’m giving 4 stars because on both occasions my appointment started 10 mins late. But Javeria and the other staff member were both apologetic and explained it couldn’t be helped which I do understand but it would be good for the reception staff to let you know if there is a delay to manage expectations. Javeria took the time to explain everything to me and was very thorough and conscientious. I appreciated her warm and patient manner with me as it was my first experience in quite a few years.

Fantastic experience: I was quickly seen by Uwais whom was fantastic as was his assistant Sena, my usual dentist Sarah was unavailable but also fantastic..I cannot recommend Widney dental practice enough, thank you for your expertise.

Fantastic experience: I have used Widney Dental Care for over 20 years,Mr. Binamin and his team are all very Professional and caring.I have always been treated with respect and informed of every aspect of my Dental care ,which I appreciate.My Treatment has always been of the highest standard and I would certainly recommend the Practice, if you are lucky enough to get an Appointment. Fantastic experience: I don't usually leave reviews, but I felt I had to for Widney Dental Care! This is genuinely one of the best dental practices I've ever been to. The whole team are friendly, professional, and make every visit a positive experience. A special mention to the reception staff - they're always so polite, organised, and welcoming. The dentists and nurses are brilliant too - they take time to explain everything clearly and make sure you feel at ease. Couldn't recommend Widney Dental Care more.

Negative experience: Parking is terrible and I always have to wait at least 30 minutes later than the agreed appointment time. Yet if I am late a few minutes because of their dyer parking facilities they don’t accept my appointment

Fantastic experience: Started with this dental practice this year after problems with another, I must say this dental practice is absolutely first class. Reception staff always friendly, smiling and willing to assist, and Dr U Binamin is best I have ever known, I don't even fear the dentist anymore. I would recommend these to anyone any day really 10/10.

Fantastic experience: This a great practice- just exemplary. Focus is on the patient and I’ve had all procedures so well explained to me. You are never left in any doubt as to what is happening during your appointment. You get the impression they are incredibly up to date, compassionate about their care and striving for the best for you.

Negative experience: If I may share some honest feedback, we did experience not a very long wait—around 25 minutes—for a dental check that lasted less than three minutes. I’m not sure if this is standard for NHS appointments. This was our first visit to this clinic. At our previous clinic, the check-ups were slightly more thorough—lasting around 10 minutes—and the dentist there kindly included a very brief scale and polish during the same appointment. This was especially helpful as my son is autistic and finds it difficult to manage detailed tooth cleaning, so it was appreciated that they didn’t suggest booking a separate hygiene appointment privately. I couldn’t help but notice that the atmosphere felt somewhat reserved. It may simply have been a busy day or perhaps just our perception, but we didn’t quite feel the same warmth or friendliness we’d experienced previously in other clinic. Of course, we may have been quite fortunate with our former clinic, which was exceptionally welcoming. Maybe the staff are friendly, but not to us? We have paid the IHS surcharge and contribute tax like everyone else, it’s a little disheartening. With that in mind, we’ll likely return to our previous provider, where we felt a little more at ease. Nevertheless, thank you for today’s service—we do appreciate the time taken.

Fantastic experience: I recently completed my aligner treatment with Dr Uthmaan and I’m sooo happy with my teeth, they look perfectly straight now! I’m so grateful to have had such a kind and understanding dentist :) can’t recommend Widney Dental enough

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Widney Dental for a complex wisdom tooth extraction. My dentist was Dr Amelia Reed - she made the experience very relaxing and comforting as I was extremely anxious. I would highly recommend her for any procedure - she was both knowledgeable and delightful.

Negative experience: Awful! That's the only way to describe the services of Widney Dental. I've been a customer since they opened and it's been an uphill battle. Today I had an appointment arranged for 10:35. In fact it was rescheduled yesterday from 12:40. I arrived and the place is closed today. No one answering the phone line either. No explanation. Nothing. In fact I didn't receive an email confirming the new time either which is odd. My last appointment they were 20 minutes late with no explanation. And they were just chatting away while I wasted my time. We've also had other experiences where they late. And we had a bad experience with a hygienist breaking a retainer too. Sounds like a cowboy business. I have no idea why I switched to them from a private dentist just give minutes away. I suggest you avoid Widney Dental.

Fantastic experience: Superb experience at Widney Dental Care. My dentist had recommended them for an awkward extraction, and I turned up petrified and quaking to meet Dr Amelia Reed. She was utterly delightful.... immediately put me at ease & I felt very safe in her obviously skilled & experienced hands. Whilst the extraction was not joyous, it was relatively brief & helped along with Bach Piano Concertos on my iPod. Amelia was brilliant and gave great clear advice & tips for after care. I felt that nothing was too much trouble & reception staff were also very efficient kind and courteous. I can't recommend more highly!

Fantastic experience: Honestly I hate anything to do with needles but that was an absolutely amazing experience !! I had an extra tooth growing behind the row of my bottom teeth. I needed it out and have been putting it off for years because I hate the thought of needles. But can I just say Dr Mohammed Binamin was fantastic. He was so patient and such a calming presence. I really did not know what to expect for my first time with this dentist but it was better than I could have imagined. I was so scared but he was so patient and understanding and I didn’t feel judged or put off at all! Thank you so much for such a great experienced. He was so quick and professional and I appreciated it so much! Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I was referred by my own dentist to see Dr Mohammed Binamin at Widney Dental due to his qualifications and the complexity of the extraction that I needed. I had just gone through a bad experience with the tooth/gum infection and was also worried about having the tooth removed. I felt like I was going to faint in the chair after I initially had the numbing injections before the procedure but he made sure I had what I needed and got me comfortable and was in no rush to proceed. The actual removal of the tooth was quick & I didn’t even realise he had actually removed it. His professionalism & experience was first class and completely put me at ease. Thank you again Dr Binamin.

Fantastic experience: I had dental implants fitted back in 2008. They recently became loose - wear and tear. I contacted the surgery and was booked in to have them re-cemented. Process was really quick and straight forward - great service!

Fantastic experience: DR Sarah Lynn is my dentist and she is the best dentist I have ever been to and I am 89 years old so I have plenty of experiences of dentists over the years. I have had two fillings with her today, and I didn’t even feel the injection going into my gum. High Recommended

Fantastic experience: I had to have a tongue biopsy a month ago. I can only say that everybody was so professional, kind and put my mind at ease. The reception staff were very understanding and accommodating when I needed extra advice. Particularly like to mention Kelley, she phoned me practically twice a week for three weeks to make sure all was going well. From a customer service perspective she was brilliant. Widney is a very good practice, I would not hesitate to go back.

Fantastic experience: I went for Hygienist appointment today. The booking process was great, I felt welcomed, they expected me, I went into my appointment, the Hygienist Abbie was very professional introduced herself, asked me questions that put me to easy, and to alleviate any anxiety she was so gentle with me and I felt I was treated with dignity, I would recommend a visit, and it is great to see someone who loves her job and has passion.

Positive experience: Having been a patient for more than 10 years I am completely disillusioned by the current capability of this practice. For a simple hygienist appointment, to which I pay private fees, I have had to wait 8 months for an appointment for a 6 month appointment to be told today that I cannot have that appointment and I now have to wait in time May 2024 for my next available opportunity. Nothing to do with me, just the practices’ capability to fulfil their obligation. Absolutely ridiculous. Furthermore, I was offered for my appointment to be fulfilled by their ‘sister’ practice and I would hear From them today! Of course, not a single message from anyone. Thanks for looking after my dental care. ————————————————————— Update - I have amended the review to 4 stars from 1 star. Subsequent to the above review, I have been contacted by the practice over the weekend, apologising for the service I have received and proposing several updates to their training and contact processes in order to minimise the chance of this happening again in future. Also, an appointment has been made available within the next week for which I am very grateful. I hope to see the proposed improvements implemented and to continue using this practice in the future.

Fantastic experience: I really had a good experience with this dental practice, from the hygiene to the actual dentist. Everything overall was 10/10… My dentist, Dr Uthmaan, was particularly amazing. He was very kind and did a really good job with my fillings.

Fantastic experience: I had a wisdom tooth extraction this morning and was incredibly nervous before and during the procedure. However, Dr Aadil and Nurse Aroosa did an amazing job of calming my nerves and making me feel at ease. The procedure itself wasn’t half as bad as I was expecting and that’s all down to their patience and the gentle care I received. Thank you both!

Fantastic experience: I’ve recently had two implants in my lower left jaw. Bad tooth and bridge removed and the two titanium implants impregnated into my jaw in the most comfortable 1 hour 10 minute operation ever performed by the incredibly knowledgeable and skilfully compassionate Amelia! Less stressful and less painful than any filling I’ve ever had in 62 years of visiting other dental practises! Recommend 10/10!

Fantastic experience: Brilliant dentist Dr Aadil really looked after me and my son. I was a bit worried how my 1 year old would be during the the visit, but Dr Aadil really made my boy feel comfortable and made the experience really nice for us. Fantastic experience: Had my first dental appointment at this practice with Dr. Aadil. Very positive experience, felt at ease and confident in the treatment/advice that I was given.

Fantastic experience: Dr Aadil and the Widney Dental care team did an amazing job with my chipped tooth. I went for a check up and they were able to fit me in the following morning to repair the tooth. Dr Aadil spent a large amount of time making sure the tooth looked natural whilst checking that I was happy with the result.

Fantastic experience: I hadn't been to the dentist for some time due to health reasons and, when I approached my usual dentist, I was told he was no longer seeing NHS patients. A friend recommended Widney Dental and I made an appointment. It is the best decision I've made in a long time. I have been very impressed with the care I have received, and the quality of the work that Aadil has done is second to none. I feel very relaxed there, and cannot recommend this practice enough.

Fantastic experience: I normally have Dr Binnaman who is brilliant and very reassuring but as he was away and I had broken a tooth I saw Damian who immediately relieved my anxiety and did a great job sorting my tooth out thank you to all at the practice

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but praise for this dental unit. I've been treated brilliantly by Dr Aadil and his colleague Dr Gemma whom are both great individuals with a warm and friendly manner. Seriously you won't have a bad experience while under their care. They'll occasionally check up on you to ensure everything is going well and that you're happy. To top things up, I won a free teeth whitening which is super. Seriously give these people a try.

Fantastic experience: I had a crown fitted today by Aadam. They have this fantastic high tec epuipment. The tooth was prepared then scanned. The scan was then used to cut the crown from a piece of composite ceramic. The crown fitted perfectly no need for any adjustments. All done in just over one hour. Fabulous service . Well done Widney.

Fantastic experience: Positive experience! After an old filling came out I was forced to go to the dentist - I'm really not a fan and will do anything to avoid it! That said I saw Dr Aadil today who I have to say was great putting this nervous patient at ease. Then quickly and painlessly repaired my tooth. After this experience I've even booked in to have some further much needed treatment. Thanks to Dr Aadil would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I am incredibly grateful and impressed with Widney Dental, especially Dr Aadam, in our recent appointment for my 10 year old daughter. My daughters baby molar had become stuck, causing the erupting adult molar to begin to point inwards at a 45 degree angle. This was the first time my daughter had to have any actual dental work done. We had no problems getting an emergency appointment and staff were caring and helpful At every step. . Dr Aadam was just excellent. He explained things brilliantly to my daughter, rather than over her head in a very caring and clear way. My daughter was very worried and he gave us options to we could consider. He didn’t try and force her to have the treatment there and then and she left reassured. The next day my daughter decided she wanted to go ahead with the local aesthetic and again we were able to get an appointment again without a problem. Dr Aadam was just amazing throughout the procedure, keeping my daughter calm and informed throughout. I cannot recommend Widney enough! It’s made my daughter have confidence when she goes to the dentist now, which is such a positive thing to see.

Fantastic experience: Aadam is an excellent dentist who consulted with me the best options to replace a crown I’d had since childhood. He took more time and consideration than other dentists I’d seen previously and managed to lead us to an aesthetically pleasing, cost-effective and long-term solution. I’m delighted with the outcome and cannot recommend them highly enough.
