Fantastic experience: Very friendly and welcoming attitude by the receptions staff, the Dentist Alex took the time to explain everything I needed to know in a very professional manner to put me at ease .

Negative experience: Very disappointed with this practice. I was prescribed antibiotics before Christmas without a clear explanation, and when I queried this I was told I should consider myself "lucky to be seen at such short notice,” which I found dismissive. Communication and administration were poor. It took weeks to be told that the practice could not provide a CBCT referral, despite repeated enquiries. At a later appointment, the dentist confirmed that periodontal pocket depths had not been recorded previously and were only measured after I raised the issue myself, which is concerning for continuity of care. When I later attended with my own CBCT arranged privately, the scan had not been accessed despite advance notice, wasting appointment time. Overall, there was a lack of transparency and basic organisation. I would not recommend this practice, particularly for patients with more complex dental concerns.

Fantastic experience: My local dentist clinic has a warm atmosphere with friendly and helpful receptionists and my dentist, Dr. Ali, is also a professional. He is competent, skilled and gentle, with advice on how to proceed with further treatments he is limited to perform.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience. The receptionist kindly fitted me in due to an issue after my wisdom teeth were removed by a specialist dentist and I was having some issues. Dr Naveen really is an excellent dentist, kind and considerate whilst being incredibly informative. I’ve walked away with a plan and my pain levels are the lowest they’ve been in 10 days. Thank you for your kindness and consideration making sure I can continue to work and fitting appointments in around work schedules whilst getting the issues sorted out.

Fantastic experience: My whole experience with the Heathfield dentist has been positive. The reception staff have been very kind and helpful and my dentist has always had the time to explain what treatment was required and been very thorough.

I had a check up and hygienist appointment with same dentist Ali and he is very gentle and explained everything in depth. Really lovely experience.

Negative experience: Alex is a great dentist, will continue to use him at an alternative practice. The reception staff are incompetent and scammed me out of £45 as they booked the wrong time hygienist appointment then refused to acknowledge their mistake or offer a new appointment at a reduced rate.

Fantastic experience: I've been attending appointments most months of 2024. Karen is always professional, polite and extremely efficient at reception and assisting Ali. Jess and Amy are wonderful girls, bright, friendly and super efficient as well. Ali is a friendly, compassionate dental therapist who had the ability to put me at ease from the very beginning of my treatments when I was quite embarrassed about the state of my mouth. I am truly still having the very best experience attending this practice. I'm so fortunate to have found this wonderful group of professionals and amazing people.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful first experience at Heathfield dental yesterday. From the moment we walked in to the check up, we were made to feel welcome. Everyone was friendly and professional. The dentist was super, he calmly gave advice on how to prevent issues and really explained things well. He didn’t make us feel bad, like other dentists we’ve been to before. Really positive and have already recommended to a friend.

Fantastic experience: I was greeted politely, and efficiently by reception, welcomed by the dental nurse and the dentist, the team were very friendly. During treatment the dentist communicated very clearly and took time to listen to my responses to questions to understand the best next steps. I was given freedom to choose how my treatment was carried out with zero pressure to follow one direction over another. The treatment was comfortable and thankfully didn't require the discomfort of numbing injections or pain relief during the procedure.
