Positive experience: I had swelling alongside my tooth that seemed like an abscess. Was offered an immediate emergency appointment but saw a dentist a day later (my choice). Had a thorough examination by Dr. Daniel, x-rays done for all my concerns, not only the tooth I made the appointment for and options given. Fractured tooth extracted in 5 minutes. Aftercare and possible follow-up explained. Left with a sound understanding of what to do and the state of my teeth. Very happy w8th Dr. Daniel and the care given.

After struggling to attend appointments with other dentists due to anxiety, I ended up developing a tooth infection and requiring 2 root canals and a filling. I'm glad I found Pearl Dental - all the staff have been amazing and I feel a lot more motivated to look after my teeth. Dr Reddy is a credit to her profession - her kind and caring manner made me feel completely safe and she is great at explaining the process and answering any questions. I also had a hygienist appointment with Deepa who was very reassuring and gentle. The receptionists and assistants are always friendly and create a welcoming atmosphere. Fantastic experience: Been a patient with Pearl Dental Surgery for a couple of years now (after a long time without a dentist) and can’t rate the care given highly enough from a very friendly and welcoming team. Luckily most of appointments are routine but when I did have to book an emergency appointment due to fixed retainer breaking the team were great and arranged for appointment to get it fixed.

Apologies for the long review, I wanted to detail the level of professionalism and care shown from the team, Dr.Anas and Eni, when visiting Pearl Dental Surgery, from someone who is petrified of the dentist. We arrived in Norfolk for our holiday on Wednesday after driving from Sheffield. A cracked tooth with decay that I had had for a while finally gave in and caused me the most excruciating pain I've even experienced. Over 150 miles away from home the panic started to set in. We called Pearl Dental and got booked in on the Thursday to get some x-rays and look at options. The reception staff were very friendly and professional, which was comforting to me who is petrified of the dentist. X-rays confirmed it was as bad as it felt and I decided to persevere until I returned home the following week. However, woke up the day after and the pain was even worse than before. We rang Pearl Dental again to see if they could get me in asap. They managed to get me in at 12noon with Dr.Anas and Eni. Dr.Anas calmed me and reassured me that I was in safe hands. I can honestly say he is one of the most professional and understanding dentists I have ever met. I usually have sedation on any dental work to calm me, but due to the urgency I didn't have time to wait! The tooth was extracted, which was tough for me but I really felt I was in safe hands. The whole experience has really changed my outlook on dentist and I feel it may have just got me over my fear, no sedation needed! Now safely back home in Sheffield, but wishing you were my local dental practice as I would return with ease. Thanks again to all the team and especially Dr.Anas and Eni!

Fantastic experience: I started coming to Pearl after a really long search for a dentist in Norwich who could work with my dental phobia. I have now had several treatments - fillings and two hygienist appointments. I hadn’t been to a hygienist for years because it was such a bewildering and frightening experience. But I am very happy with the hygienists here - they are happy to put numbing cream on my gums and to talk me through the process before and during. They are helping me get over my fears and rationalise. So pleased I found them!

Fantastic experience: Have just had my two front teeth treated with a composite bonding by Daniele & Sonika (assistant) and am very satisfied with the end result. My teeth were suffering from fractures, discolouration and thinning at the base, all these issues have been resolved and I feel they now look perfectly natural and greatly improved. Would like to mention Ven (Dr Venugopal Patnam) who is my dentist for suggesting this treatment ( which I was not aware of) during a routine check-up. Fantastic experience: I originally went to Pearl Dental with the intention of getting a check up and a filling replaced, and with the idea of getting an implant for a damaged and wonky front tooth. I was ushered away from an implant as I still had tooth remaining & becuase it "isnt worth the extra cost for my case". Great advice, great service, got in super quick (all work completed within 6 weeks including getting the crown made), and a great job! Thanks to Daniele & Charlotte for helping me out!

Negative experience: Says free consultation but when I then called up about a new crown and whitening was told 75 pounds for the consultation? It seems strange to lose what is potential business of much more value but not going to pay for a 20 min call to discuss my crown. I was looking to get done immediately so quite disappointing.

Fantastic experience: I am not a person who usually leaves reviews but on this occassion the service I have received at the Pearl Dental Surgery is exemplary and warrants a review. From my initial phone call, which had taken me months to pluck up thw courage to make, I was greeted with a warm friendly welcome. This has been a theme throughout my visits and really has made dealing with my dental visits and treatment plan a pleasant experience (as much as it can be). I have been informed of my options thoughiut my visits, every single colleague I have met has been polite, professional and above all...friendly. My dentist Daniel is wonderful, he takes time to explain what I need to know and ensures I am aware of all of my options. Overall a brilliant surgery with wonderful colleagues.

Fantastic experience: Just came back from having an hygienist appointment at this dentist (paying private) for the first time and was very impressed with the service and quality received. I enquired a few weeks ago for availability and prices, then again just a week ago for availability and both times the receptionist Emma replied to me really quickly with the information I needed. I was seen by hygienist Deepa Kharal, alongside an assistant (don't know her name) and they were both kind, understanding of my anxiety and gentle, as well as reassuring too and made me feel very comfortable. The appointment didn't feel rushed and they took their time checking my gums and teeth and giving them a really thorough clean/polish. I came away with my teeth feeling and looking a lot better. The only thing they could have done better was introduce me to the work experience student as it's a bit daunting sometimes having extra people watching you, espeically if it's somewhere new anyway, but this is a minor thing. It is shame that the price is quite high (£79) and that there is no discount for part time workers or NHS staff etc, but I do feel the money was well spent. I did compare this dentist in price and reviews to several other dentists before making an appointment, and they were one of the lowest priced as well as being one of her mostly highly rated, so this is why I went with them and they didn't disappoint. I wouldn't hesitate to go back again and am pleased with the results. Thank you.
