Fantastic experience: We registered with Warrior Square Dental Surgery when we moved to St Leonard’s in 2016. We have now moved to Essex and have found an NHS dentist nearby. During our eight years in St Leonard’s, we considered ourselves very lucky to have Dr Malas as our dentist. He is professional and efficient, explains the procedures he is carrying out and intervenes only when necessary. He uses the latest technology. All his staff are helpful and cheerful, making any visit less stressful. We fully recommend Warrior Square Dental Surgery.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Malas has been my Dentist for several years and has a very professional manner. I have always found the surgery to be spotless and all the staff to be welcoming and kind. Fantastic experience: I visited for the first time when I was having bad tooth pain, and found out I needed to have a root canal. I'd highly recommend Dr. Malas because I was a nightmare patient (not used to the UK dental system, bad fear of dentists, needle phobia, fear of root canals specifically) and he was patient and understanding at each appointment. He listened to my anxieties at the new patient intake about having other teeth that could need a root canal, and took extra steps to verify and then assure me that the rest of my mouth was in good condition. He also let my partner join me for the treatment, which made a difference. The actual root canal treatment was (to my surprise) painless. Thanks for bearing with a scared patient!

Fantastic experience: i have had mr malas as my dentist since i was 4 years old, i am now 21 and still have mr malas. my parents also have attended his surgery for over 20 years!! i have a baby now and the second i see a tooth i hope that she will be able to have mr malas as her dentist. if that doesn’t show you just how fantastic he is i don’t know what does. i’ve always been confused hearing people say they hate going to the dentist, because mr malas has always made it feel so comfortable and welcoming, he is talkative yet profession, a truly delightful man. the practice is always spotless, all staff are incredibley kind and i would highly highly recommend this practice

Fantastic experience: I took my 95 year old mother to the practice to have new dentures fitted. She prides personal care as highly as professional treatment, and Dr Malis provided both - he was very patient, accommodating and personable, which was a wonderful experience for my mother. The practice took time to ensure the dentures were fitted effectively and efficiently, until she was 100% pleased with the outcome. Excellent service!

Fantastic experience: Excellent practice !!! Warrior Square has been my dental practice for many years for me and my Family. Today I decided to give them a review after having my 12-year-old daughter's tooth extracted almost painless. Thank you very much for your professional approach to the patient, the doctor Malas and nurse Justyna took care of my daughter , who was very scared in a wonderful way .They were very gentle and understanding towards her. The whole procedure was not easy to perform, but they did a great job. I must say that all procedures so far have been performed in very sterile conditions. They have always provided excellent service. The nurses Ania and Justyna are always friendly and helpful. I can't recommend Warrior Square Dental highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Excellent practice Warrior Square has been my dental practice for many years. Well before Dr Malas took the practice over from Dr Ambridge They have always provided excellent service. The reception staff are always friendly and helpful and always remember you. Dr Malas has continually improved the standard of the practice and the equipment which is state of the art., And the dentistry is superb. They do not to unnecessary work, the treatment they do, they do well. The hygienist is also excellent, very thorough, and almost painless. The patient plan made the payments far more manageable. I have left the practice, but only because I have moved three hundred miles away, and I did travel back for appointments for 18months before I found a dentist of comparable standard in Cheshire. I can't recommend Warrior Square Dental highly enough

It only took 10 weeks and Dr. Mallas always worked around my schedule to ensure the perfect result regardless of my travels. Fantastic experience: Thank you Anna, Alison and Mr Malas. I am an extremely nervous patient to the point that I shake uncontrollably whilst having any treatment. I recently had to have an extraction. Through the whole appointment Anna the dental nurse was calming and encouraging holding my hand throughout. Mr Malas understood that I needed to know what was going to happen before any procedure took place and gave me time to compose myself. I have never had a dental practice understand how terrified I am. I cannot thank all of the staff enough for their kindness and understanding.

Fantastic experience: I recently had to have a procedure that involved removing a crown to be able to fill and save a tooth, the previously crowned tooth was also infected so root canal treatment was needed to save it.This meant a 1hr then 1and a half hour appointments were required as a lot of work was required to prepare the tooth for a new crown which sounded daunting .However the professional treatment and expertise of the team meant this all went very well and the new crown fits perfectly. I would like to thank Mr Malas and his team for the excellent treatment I received in the surgery and follow up call to check if everything was ok.

Fantastic experience: I can't thank Mr Malas enough for my night guard. I have suffered many years since a root canal was done by another dentist leaving my jaw out of line and causing problems with tension and grinding. I collected it yesterday and last night was the first time in over 10 years that I don't have pain or a headache, I'm soooo happy and definitely recommend to anyone if you have problems with grinding teeth or jaw pain ☺️

Positive experience: I have received wonderful dental treatment at warrior square dental practice for a number of years now. You can tell that Mr Malas loves his job and takes great pride in his work and its outcome. I have recently had lengthy root canal treatment on a tooth that most NHS dentists would not even consider. I wanted to avoid an extraction and that’s what we did. Very welcoming and noticeably clean and hygienic environment too.

Fantastic experience: Having recently had root canal treatment I cannot fault Warrior Square Dental Practice. The procedure was totally pain free and both Mr Malas and Anna his wonderful dental nurse knew exactly what they were doing and were so reassuring throughout.

Negative experience: I am still waiting for Mr. Malas to respond to my complaint email after he accepted a restorative/ cosmetic series of works to a problemed tooth. He has since completed the restorative works (which he suggested was necessary in order to then explore cosmetic treatments - the element I cared about) but has now, 2 months into the process, said he is not confident in getting the end result I wanted. The end result I wanted was to fix discolouration on the problemed tooth so not exactly complex and certainly something you’d expect your dentist to be able to do. Especially considering they accepted the works upon consultation stage when each aspect was discussed and never once explained their personal reservations towards not being able to do the cosmetic work. Please respond to my email in a timely manner so the matter can be resolved. I do not believe getting your receptionist to call me with a brief message saying you will no longer see me as acceptable when the reason is due to the dentists own abilities and confidence.

Positive experience: Unfortunately, I needed to redo my previous 5* review due to my more recent experiences. I am a private patient and Mr Malas worked on resurfacing my front teeth last month. They had eroded enamel and I didn't think they would ever look natural again... At first, I was blown away with how smooth they looked and the finish was stunning. When I got home I noted very small rough patches and some more finishing that needed to be done so I rebooked soon after. Then a few days later, part of the filling on the right tooth broke off. I paid close to £300 for the work, so I wasn't happy. Mr Malas had me in to rectify the issue and touch up other parts of the teeth free of charge. However, in doing so he changed the angle and shape of my right tooth. The inner edge was now angled inward and the sizes of the teeth were asymmetrical. I wanted him to carry on working on the tooth until I was satisfied but he had already gone over our appointment time and I felt pressure to leave because others were waiting. I tried to feel settled with the new tooth but I just couldn't. There was still work on other areas that Mr Malas didn't look at during this appointment, so I emailed over a list of all the things including small cut on the right tooth made by a tool during my last visit. At the time it showed up as a small white horizontal line that faded, so didn't think anything of it at the time but after I left, I could see it in my bathroom mirror. The third visit came and I was hoping everything would be rectified and there would be no more need for work on this. Mr Malas told me he printed my email out to go through all of these points but when getting to the one about the cut he left on my right tooth, he said "are you seeing this under a magnifying glass?" As if to make light of my issue. He then just moved on to the other work. I just accepted this was not going to be looked at and just went with the idea this wasn't noticeable... even though it IS there. I can feel it and see it. He also tried to explain how front teeth were meant to look by showing me pictures of other teeth online and asking for his assistant's input on how straight my tooth was while I was still in the chair to try and convince me. I felt that part was unnecessary. Mr Malas made sure I was happy with the work he did do. And I appreciate what he did to rectify certain mistakes with my teeth (smoothing the roughness, the breaking and the misshapen right tooth), but I didn't appreciate being made to feel like his error was just in my imagination. This is a mixed bag for me. Overall, they are a very friendly, considerate, and hardworking team who want patients to feel at ease and happy with results. But you may need to stick to your guns about what is bothering you otherwise you might get convinced otherwise.

Fantastic experience: Hi I have been using this practice for many years , Mr Malas is a great dentist and always puts you straight to ease with a great friendly welcome , I’ve had to have a few crowns done and they all fit perfectly with great colour match , and all other work done has been great , I’m an NHS patient but I always feel I’m getting the best private attention , The surgery itself is always kept spotlessly clean , and the staff are also so friendly and helpful. Fantastic experience: Mr Malas and his team at warrior square dental practise are all stars. Great covid policy and protection in place and calming staff. Mr Malas and the nurses explain the whole procedure to me before any work takes place.

Negative experience: Professionals who work with pain should be better equipped with after-care mentally and physically. One less NHS patient for you to make zero profit from, you only needed an excuse to remove me. Be professional and contact me privately !now accused of aggresion when I am sat in a chair in extreme panic and pain ? What next ? Make it up why don't you ! I swore 'AT MYSELF' not at the dentist whilst in the middle of abject misery and frustration at how hard it was to remove tooth - I apologised for saying the 'F' word twice - you are making it up I directed ay anyone !! I was not aggressive - i was scared and having a panic attack was how the dentist described it!!!! I was trying to breathe and not pass out in fear !!!!! You are being over-sensitive to any language used here.

Negative experience: Unfortunately I am currently on chemotherapy. I had toothache and the tooth was wobbling. I phoned up the dental practice to see if it could be looked at. A day later I had to chase up the query. I was told that they could not see me until I had finished my chemotherapy (3 months away!). Thanks to my Macmillan nurse I saw a dentist at the hospital who took an x-ray and said my tooth could be maintained with care and no treatment needed immediately. They also said any dentist could and should have assessed the tooth. I found the attitude of the dentist who hid behind the receptionist callous and hurtful. I will be finding a new dental practice who show some compassion.

Fantastic experience: I would like to say a huge thank you to Mr Malas and the team at Warrior Square Dental Practice. I received not only professionalism but also kindness, patience and understanding. Like many I previously experienced trauma in the dental chair as a child and this means that I am a very nervous patient. Armed with my aconite homeopathic drops to calm me I sat in the dental chair with white knuckles needing to ask for a short break to get my breath on many occasions. As I say, I experienced patience and and understanding from Mr Malas and his dental nurse Anna. Part of my treatment including a crown. I have a partial denture that fits onto the new crown. I was without this denture for only one day and the fit of the crown and denture is fantastic so thumbs up for the technician used to. Whilst attending the dentist is still not a favourite pass time! As an NHS patient I can say Mr Malas provided excellent care and can even go so far as saying went over and above that. Thank you again.

Fantastic experience: I have just finished a course of intensive treatment and now have an amazing smile. I cannot thank Mr Malas and his team enough, they were friendly, helpful and polite on each and everyone of my visits, I was always greeted with a smile. The practice is highly maintained and scrupulously clean, Mr Malas took the time to explain the expected treatment at the start of each visit, he constantly checked to ensure my wellbeing throughout and was genuine in making sure I had the best service from him. Negative experience: I was an nhs patient at warrior square but I was taken off their nhs list and you just abandoned me when I was in severe pain you said you can't help me and told me to find another surgery, knowin fullwell it would be impossible to do this. So you are an uncaring surgery that only cares for people who have money and can pay for your over priced procedures Shame On You

Fantastic experience: Just finished my Invisalign treatment with Dr Malas and I am so happy with the results. The technology used for Invisalign and the whole process itself is incredible, but From start to finish the whole team has been amazing, Alison the receptionist was so kind and helpful, the dental nurse and Dr Malas himself are so friendly and informative of the treatment, making you feel at ease to ask any questions. I chose this dentist for my Invisalign treatment because of their great reviews and Im so glad I did. I must also add that the practices covid regulations were so thorough and I felt so safe every time I went to an appointment. I visited a few different practices before I started my treatment for quotes and this surgery stood out by far. The team was incredibly professional and attentive. From registering as a new patient to showing up for my appointment, I felt looked after every step of the way. The practice's COVID regulations are strict and I felt completely safe and at ease while there in person. The check-up itself was a pleasure: comprehensive, efficient and inclusive.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Dr Malas. I needed to choose between an extraction or a root canal with a crown. I was quite nervous at first, and thinking I would have the tooth extracted, but Dr Malas explained everything in advance and made me feel very reassured and comfortable. In the end I chose the root canal/crown.I felt no pain and Dr Malas did the work quickly. I'm delighted with the result, and am very pleased I had it done.

Fantastic experience: Visit today for treatment… I must say I felt relaxed and Normally find the hygiene treatment uncomfortable and the after effects usually severe tooth and gum sensitivity… but not on this occasion… also no anaesthetic needed on this occasion which is a first… highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: I recently have had an hygienist appointment and had my teeth cleaned by Dr Malas himself due to the practice hygienist leaving. I just wanted to say that Dr Malas is as good a hygienist as he is a dentist. It was the best clean I have ever experienced - at this practice or at any of my previous dental practices. Dr Malas was not rushed, very thorough and even managed to remove a tiny stubborn stain that I thought wasn't possible to get rid of. He is a very kind man who cares deeply about the teeth of his patients and several members of my family have joined his practice in the last few years. Dr Malas showed me my X ray at the end and it was agreed it looked so perfect it could be in a text book! Not often said but it is a pleasure go there, knowing all will be resolved.

The Warrior square dental team are all very warm, friendly and efficient so come highly recommended. Had a couple fillings a couple weeks later, the dentist took time to explain the procedures and they were quick and relatively painless! Covid risk reduction was also high. Fantastic experience: Have been using this Dentist since I moved here 7 years ago. Mr Malas is a very professional dentist with a very nice manner. Paulette on reception is super efficient and Anna the hygienist is thorough and very friendly. In fact, all the team play their part in making you feel very welcome. I have the annual treatment plan which gives four hygienist and two checkup appointments per year plus discounts off other treatments. It is well worth doing and good value. I highly recommend this practice and every aspect of the service they provide.

Fantastic experience: Had my first dental check up of 2021 today. Dentist very pleased with me as I've been following the advice I've been given and my teeth and gums are in much better shape now. The reason for this review though is that the precautions and measures taken to keep both staff and clients safe from covid is really impressive. They start before you enter the surgery and continue till you leave, you definitely feel well cared for. If more businesses could operate like this, it would benefit everyone.

Fantastic experience: As a new patient at this dental practice i felt that i just had to write a review of my experience today. I was very nervous but the excellent Dr. Malas, the lovely dental assistant and the lady at reception were warm and welcoming and put me totally at ease. Dr. Malas, after looking at my dental history and asking me some questions, and carrying out some x-rays, gave me a full and very detailed account of the dental work that was required. He also gave me a breakdown of the various costs of the dental treatment as he was going along. He was very kind and caring and explained everything as he was going along as well as answering my many questions! He took a detailed examination of my mouth, teeth and gums and gave me tips on how to look after my oral health better. I felt very relieved and happy when i left and am actually looking forward to having my dental work carried out so that i can have a nice healthy mouth and smile again confidently!

Having being put off dentists as a child it’s such a relief to find such a good dentist as Mr Malas who is always excellent in what he does.

Fantastic experience: Mr. Malas is a highly skilled dental surgeon. He has a calm, gentle manner, and a quiet efficiency which inspires confidence. And his pain management is excellent. I had a tooth extraction recently and it was totally painless. He has been rigorous about hygiene in the Surgery during COVID19 and there is hand sanitiser at the door and 'self-distancing' is observed. I can't recommend him highly enough.
