Fantastic experience: As when I previously needed Hurst Dental Practice, I was seen promptly and with kindness. During the procedure, Dr Anu, the dentist and her assistant, Charlotte treated me in a friendly, professional manner while communicating in a clear and understandable way exactly what was happening. Thank you. Another year and another very professional and expert appointment with Dr Anu. After a warm welcome, she proceeds to assess my teeth with the upmost care & gentleness while explaining in layman’s terms exactly what she is doing, or seeing. Despite her busy day she is unhurried in her explanations and friendliness.

Fantastic experience: Early removal of a problem wisdon tooth which was delaying surgery. Well explained before and during the procedure, which was actioned with consideration and care. The after care instructions were comprehensive and a follow up phone call a day latter was unexpected and appreciated. Thank you Anu and team.

Fantastic experience: I cannot thank Hurspierpoint Dental Practice enough! I had a crown fitted when I was 16 and, ever since then, I’ve always been too nervous to have it changed. But recently, Dr. Anu Jawahar and her assistant Nina completely changed how I feel about going to the dentist. From the moment I arrived, they were so kind, patient, and understanding. They noticed when I was feeling anxious, took their time, checked in with me throughout, and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. The whole experience was nothing like I expected, it didn’t hurt at all, and I actually felt relaxed! I had my front tooth crown replaced and also had whitening done, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the results. My teeth look amazing, and for the first time in years, I smile with confidence with my teeth showing! I’m so pleased with the care, attention, and results from start to finish. Five stars just don’t feel enough. Thank you, Dr. Anu and Nina, for giving me my smile back!

Positive experience: I was seen as an emergency after leaving message about losing a filling requesting an urgent appointment as I was going away to France nx week. Had a temporary filling and told I’d need a crown. Had already bk’d a check up in November. Pleased with quick response as a new client and only recently moved to Hurstpierpoint.

She saw me recently in an emergency even though she was fully booked up that morning and did a great job extracting a tooth which was causing great pain. She and her assistants have always been absolutely excellent and really helped me keep my teeth in good condition - I've been with her for over ten years now.

I've undertaken many treatments over the years and am content to be on regular monitoring now. If only I had felt like this about my dentist as a child!

I had quite a backlog of work that needed doing after not going to the dentist for several (too many!) years. All the work was explained clearly and performed pain-free. I found Anu to be very kind and reasonable, never judgemental but very practical about telling to improve things that really matter. The rest of the team at the Hurst practice have also been great, a very professional and efficient outfit. Can't recommend highly enough!

Negative experience: I am really sorry, but I am not happy about my dental appointment. Having had at least 2 reminders, by e-mail, about my appointment, nothing was mentioned that Anu was not going to see me until I arrived, when I was told she couldn't see me and would I mind seeing another dentist. Having got there and "syced" myself up, I said ok. Sadly I wasn't too impressed. It was out in a back room, the dental assistant was not in PPE and the dentist didn't seem to be very confident. He had obviously read my notes as he mentioned a couple of things that I know are in them, but he didn't really go methodically around my teeth. When I paid and booked my next appointment, I did ask that if Anu was not available, could I please be notified beforehand, so that I can make another appointment with her.

Fantastic experience: First time I met Ibby, have to say he made me feel like I’d known him for years ! He was very respectful and reassuring and I feel confident with him .

Fantastic experience: Ibby is a great dentist! I have now had three appointments with him. He is very thorough and explains any treatment required - but more importantly, he puts you at ease. I would definitely recommend him.

Negative experience: I only need a new denture to replace old one which now (after many years) does not fit very well. The dentist insists that she must discuss this with my daughter and I don't understand why. My daughter is not my carer and has a very busy life in London and abroad. I won't use her time for this. The dentist also said that I would need to have a minimum of 6 visits for this work (and possibly more). I don't understand this. When the original denture was made for me (in London) I only went twice. Once for the impressions and so on, and the second time to check that all was well. I would like your thoughts on this.

I was seen on time and was very satisfied with the support advice and service. All in all a very positive visit and that is not something people usually say when visiting the dentist is it! So do try Hurst Dental Practice if you are looking for a new dentist.

Fantastic experience: I came in for a hygiene appointment and it was the best appointment I've had so far. With the staff so patient and kind, they explained every step involved and ensured a pain-free experience. The receptionists were very kind and sweet, making you feel warm and welcome!

Positive experience: As always great service for an emergency. However it’s interesting that your lovely hygienist puts Vaseline on the lips to prevent cracking and the metal clamp used for a filling results in an ulcer. Is there no way of avoiding this?! The repair filling is great and you have lovely staff.

Fantastic experience: I have always had dental issues through bad dentistry when I was a child. My experience with your dental practice has been excellent. I would recommend to everyone to join this practice, their dental plan is really good and makes it affordable to everyone.

Positive experience: Care generally appears to be fine and staff are welcoming. However a massive put off for me is that there is no consistency in terms of which dentist you get to see. Every appointment - dentist or hygienist - is with a different person which gives no option to build a relationship and discuss any challenges or issues from appointment to appointment. As a nervous dental patient with some issues to resolve this is a huge issue and seems to be getting worse.

Fantastic experience: Alex the hygienist is amazing. She totally gets it when you have an underlying disease and acts accordingly to make sure she is protecting not only your teeth/gums but you too. Easy to talk to and gives great tips on looking after your teeth. Highly recommend Alex, I’m so lucky she is my hygienist.
