Fantastic experience: Louisa is my dentist. I was with Louisa when she previously worked at Cambridge. She is so good I chose to follow her to Royston. It's abit of a drive but it's totally worth it. Louise's dentistry is second to none, she is caring and thoughtful when doing any work and always discusses and explains everything thoroughly. A brilliant dentist!!!

Fantastic experience: I had old amalgam filling replaced for the cracked molar, and another one on a different molar that had some decay under the old filling. My experience was as pleasant as it can be under the circumstances. People are pleasant and friendly, put you at ease. It is quite pricey, but for me insurance covers 80% so not really a problem.

Fantastic experience: Can’t praise these folks highly enough. I had an emergency with a gum infection and was in a lot of pain. My own dentist didn’t even respond to my calls. These guys got me in, examined the problem prescribed antibiotics and eased the pain all in about an hour and a half. Absolute Angels :) highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I was greeted with a friendly smile. I don't like dentists but had to go as an emergency. Charles who looked at my tooth made me very relaxed and explained everything. I had to have a filing and he made sure I didn't feel any pain while he done it. I would recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I have always been impressed by the care and professionalism of this dental practice. I have been treated by several dental teams in and around Hertfordshire but this practice is by far the best. The level of expertise and proactive dental care offered by the team here is superb. I have found it very straightforward to arrange appointments and the emergency treatment I recently needed was arranged promptly and followed through with patience and care. I’m fortunate to have Taneem Ahmed as my dentist. He has an excellent professional manner and takes time to examine and explain findings and talk about treatment - never rushed or hurried. Gemma Sleeman is an excellent hygienist - thorough and efficient and always gives excellent advice on dental care. A first class experience every time!

Negative experience: I have been with this dental surgery for more than 10 years, but I decided to change recently. The past two visits made to dentist were not impressive at all. Further training and management improvement is essential in my view.

Fantastic experience: I am absolutely terrified of anything dental, to the point where I have neglected to go for years and would rather deal with toothache rather than let someone take a drill to my teeth. I finally took a stride and went to Market Hill to see what they could do for me. I haven't had a proper smile since I was 10 years old, so I've been hiding my teeth from view for the last 15 years. I booked in for a consultation with Taneem. Taneem was patient and SO calming to speak to. He understood my fears and completely took everything at my own pace. Today was my final appointment with Taneem after a lot of procedures done over the last few months and I practically skipped out of the building with a smile I have only dreamt of for the last 15 years. On a separate note, one thing I found really helpful as that Taneem kept talking to em throughout my procedures. This really, really helped to distract me from what we were doing and completely grounded me. Everyone at market Hill Dentistry is amazing, and I would never, ever go anywhere else now. THANKYOU Taneem for restoring my smile and for changing my life!

Fantastic experience: On all my visits over many years I have been looked after, from telephone calls with the excellent receptionists,to 1st class service from Charlie my Dentist, everything is explained in detail so I can understand it. I never have had to wait for an appointment,always seen very quickly.The reception area is clean tidy and comfortable, and the surgery is state of the art. Going to the Dentists is not top of any bodies list, but you are made to feel so welcome by everyone that the whole experience is pleasurable.

Fantastic experience: As always a fantastic experience ( if such could be said about a dentist !!). Having had a terrible Experience at Dental Hub in Cambridge 3 years ago ( I took the dentist to the GeneralDental Council where he was disciplined and subsequently took him to court to reclaim some money for faulty work I was naturally very nervous about further treatment. However Raj Wadhwani from Antwerp House Cambridge put right the damage and I now see Taneem for my routine dental work . He explains everything as he goes along, is kind and compassionate especially about my past experience , and extremely thorough. All the nurses, receptionists and hygienists are amazing A first class team.

My 1st visit there made me feel comfortable and able to go again. I had a large amount of work done over 10 months. I cannot fault any of my treatment and can honestly say that Charlie (my Dentist) worked meticulously to achieve my end results. I extend my heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Market Hill for their kindness and making my dental "journey" so bearable.

Charlie is a great dentist and explains everything well so I always know what’s going on. He’s also very precise and does an amazing job. I’m very happy with my new smile having gone through Invisalign here.

Fantastic experience: I had a bridge fitted yesterday as i was living with a gap in my face hole for some time. With no access to an NHS dentist i decided to find a private dentist who would make me gorgeous again (more gorgeous) I was recommended this dentist surgery by a friend who had their teeth fixed here. The staff and service was excellent, the dental surgery is very modern with all the mod cons, i especially liked the 3d scanner thing they used to map out my mouth, much better than that sticky goop you bite into for an impression. Sian (brown haired woman) made the process extremely easy and was super friendly and knowledgeable. She was the first person i met at reception. She booked me in and kept me updated along the way. She is also a dental nurse (and a quiz master im told) so was in the surgery when i was having my bridge fitted and my old tooth extracted. She made the whole process very easy and pleasant. Taneem (the dentist) talked me through all the options and explained them in depth before moving forward. He explained the pros and cons of each, the cost etc. He was very gentle during the whole process and did a fantastic job. Once it was all done Taneem explained how to keep it clean and we parted ways (until next week for a check up) Im very happy with the work he did and the professionalism throughout. I then went to reception to be greeted by a young blonde lady called Alex....very friendly and smiley :) She asked how it all went and took payment for all the work i had done. All in all i was very happy with the service and work done to my mouth. Great customer service goes a long way in a world where its become less and less common. The staff made the process much more enjoyable :) Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: I moved to Royston a couple of years ago, but returned to my old dentist until this year when he retired, so was seeking somewhere new to go. A friend recommended Market Hill so, with some trepidation, I booked to see Charlie Pontikis. I could not be more pleased, he produced a clear plan of what needed to be done and I am almost through it now with excellent results, I feel much more confident in smiling again! The best recommendation I can give is my wife is now booking an appointment for herself. Wished we'd done it a couple of years ago.

From Sarah on reception and getting me in at such short notice and Sian walking me to the dentist chair and making me feel at ease... Only to be greeted by a very pleasant dentist that took all my apprehensions away.. I have seen many dentist over the years but I can honestly say that Charlie Pontikis has defiantly been the best!! Fantastic experience: Having Seen Tarkia the Hygienist, she has restored my faith in Hygienists. She was fully professional and has a nice manner to go with it. She didn't lecture me, but instead went through how to maintain gum and teeth issues. Putting me at ease made the experience a pleasant one. A far cry from the Butcher hygienists I use to see. I would highly recommend Tarika. Charlie & Taneem are great dentists. They have both given me treatment and were very professional with a clam manner to go with it. Again both these dentists have restored my faith in dentistry and rather than dreading I look forward to getting my teeth checked and worked on. High profession and friendly dental practice.

Fantastic experience: Very happy with Dr Monica Lee and Dr Charlie Pontikis at Market Hill Dentistry. Both are highly professional. I recently had my teeth deep cleaned by Monica who did a fantastic job. I also had an emergency appointment at the clinic last week. I am grateful that I was seen by Charlie immediately and he fixed the problem right away. Overall, the clinic is tidy and quiet, and the staff members are efficient and courteous.

Fantastic experience: I first came to Market Hill just over two years ago as a referral from my dentist to see Monica Lee the periodontologist as I had quite severe gum disease. She has performed miracles as I was sure that I would end up losing my teeth and that has not been the case. Throughout, Monica has shown me how to look after my gums and has explained my treatment clearly. Today, I was given a review date for twelve month's time which, for me is progress indeed! I have been able to have orthodontic treatment and some composite bonding - at another practice - as a result of the treatment. So thank you Monica and all the kind and helpful nurses and reception staff.

Fantastic experience: I recently received Orthodontic treatment using clear fixed braces to correct a traumatic deep bite with the amazing Dr Louisa Lawrence! Louisa's attention to detail and professional knowledge has left me with a life changing result. I couldn't recommend Louisa enough!!!

The team make you feel extremely comfortable and really ensure that you get the most out of your treatment. Will be returning again and would definitely recommend this practice. Fantastic experience: I’ve been using market hill dentistry for my Invisalign treatment - Charlie has been my dentist and I’ve received fantastic treatment. I am 8 weeks into my Invisalign experience. I started this as my smile has always been something that has bought me down and had an effect on my mental health. The first time I saw Charlie I didn’t know what I needed to do to fix it , I walked into the dentist not knowing what to ask for or expect and I actually broke down in tears because I hated my smile so much, not only did charlie show me the best treatment plan for me he was warm and empathetic and made me feel completely at ease. Since starting my treatment my teeth are changing every day and I’m actually smiling in pictures which I have never done prior to this treatment starting. I have given up smoking also for the sake of my treatment and health which has made a huge difference in my life. Big thank you to charlie and the whole team at market hill dentistry I would highly recommend as they go above and beyond and are really reasonably priced also ! A*

Fantastic experience: My experience at Market Hill was great from start to finish. All of the staff were helpful and friendly. Dr Charles Pontikis, who did my invisalign, did an amazing job, using all of the latest technology and was a perfectionist in his work. Would definitely recommend.

Positive experience: I've had occasion to visit this practise twice during the course of implant treatment (not yet complete). On the first visit I had to wait 15 minutes beyond my appointment time. On the second visit I gave up waiting after 30 minutes beyond my appointment time having had no explanation that there was an ongoing delay.

Fantastic experience: I can honestly say that Charlie Pontikis, at Market Hill Dentistry, is the best dentist I have been to. The treatment I have had so far, replacement composite fillings and overlay work, has been excellent. Not only does Charlie use the latest technology, but he also takes the time to explain his techiques and processes. He is an absolute perfectionist and this shows in the results. All the other members of the team I have met - hygienist, dental assistants and reception staff are also very helpful, friendly and efficient. I could not recommend more highly!

Fantastic experience: From start to finish my experience at Market Hill Dentistry has been fantastic! All the staff are really engaging and really go out of their way to ensure that the treatments are quick, stress free and totally painless. But what I was really taken back by was the level of aftercare, the dental nurses - Mary and Sian give. They take so much time and care getting to know the patients and following up the treatments with personal calls to check how the patient is feeling. I can't recommend those ladies enough!

Negative experience: I do not recommend this dentistry. In my experience they started a treatment which they did not finish due to incompetency and proposed that I seek further specialist surgery which not only would have costed several times the original treatment but would have also left me with adverse permanent dental alterations. Due to this I decided to try a different dentistry and there the unfinished treatment was completed effortlessly not requiring surgery which any competent dentist is capable of doing. Based on this experience it seems to me that this dentistry put priority on profit more than the well being of an individual.

Fantastic experience: Have recently had composite bonding done on my teeth by Louisa. She was professional, quick and bent over backwards to fit me in at my convenience. My niece and daughter both previously had similar work done again with Louisa and I wondered if she could help me with the large gap in my front teeth, and also badly chipped teeth along the bottom. She absolutely could !! I'm so pleased with my new smile. Wish I'd had it done ages ago.

My teeth have been entirely transformed and I felt extremely well supported by Louisa throughout the process. My teeth were very crowded and I wasn’t happy with the colour. I was incredibly self conscious about my smile which really affected my confidence. Louisa was very informative throughout the process and was always very driven to make my teeth look as good as they possibly could do. I am extremely grateful to Louisa and I do not hesitate in recommending her to others.
