Negative experience: I was overcharged for a simple filling and they split my tooth in the process without acknowledging it. They knew it but kept silent, I only realized it later.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday was the first checkup in dozens of years that I haven’t had to have work done, which shows the excellent dental care I’ve received from Jenna Sumner. As usual she was friendly, gentle, and kept me informed throughout. Jenna is a most professional and caring dentist and Whitehall is lucky to have her as a member of the practice.

Jenna Sumners who performed my treatment was very reassuring, caring & humorous who despite her busy schedule always has time to explain the whole process & puts you at ease. Fantastic experience: David at Whitehall dentist did my teeth for me i actually hated smiling as my teeth were not good i went and had a chat to David and explained what i wanted and he listen ……a few weeks later i had my new teeth i was so pleased with the results i couldn’t stop smiling and still do it’s unbelievable how it’s changed me would highly recommend the dental practice 10 out of 10 for me.

Negative experience: I am 76 years old. Have been using this dentist since for very many years most of my life. On returning to the uk a few days ago, I contacted them for an appointment yesterday and was told that as I had not been to them for 3years I would be a new customer, so this ment I would not be able to make an appointment with them untill February . Also I would not be seen by the same dentist as he was not taking on any new customers. What is the country coming too. All is lost in this country due to business like this.

Negative experience: I have been going to Whitehall for over 35 years. Before covid they would send me 6 monthly check up appointments. After covid I waited for one to arrive. I didn’t need to go so haven’t thought about it much. I tried to book today and was told because I hadn’t been for so long they had taken me off their books, no letter about this or anything was sent. They then wanted to charge me £125 new clients fee. I am now booked in somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: Amazing dental practice, wonderful service from both the receptionist and the dentist. The level of kindness was more than I ever imagined especially when it came to a worried mum with a 2year old. Like to thank again Steph and Jenna for your time, advice and professionalism.

Negative experience: I have a great dentist, and excellent treatment 5 stars, however hence the 1 star for admin...... I have asked twice now on two visits in person at the practice for details of your monthly plans to be sent to me with links to join up, made two separate phone calls and emailed with no joy whatsoever; and we are still waiting! You have my email and my wife's perhaps we will both be sent details now?

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Whitehall from my usual dentist as I needed specialist treatment by the way of a root and crown implant. The team at Whitehall have been absolutely fantastic from the reception team to the dentists and the nurses too. I was kept informed of my treatment plan throughout, was constantly checked in on after appointments to ensure everything was OK and couldn't be happier with the end results - my teeth are nicer now than they ever have been. Highly recommend them if you need a dentist you can rely on and trust to provide a 5 star job.

Having the CFast brace was the best decision I've made, just wished I'd done it earlier! Such a welcoming, friendly practice that go above and beyond. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I was put at my ease from the first appointment, which having a fear of dentistry was paramount. They were efficient with no fuss and the extraction was over in seconds. Negative experience: Owner & Future customers to this practice, If I was the owner of this practice I would not want my employees to treat potential future customer the way as I was treated today. As a potential future costumer I would like to be aware how the practice value future customers. Lol This morning the receptionist suggested that I should go with pain for 1 1/2 month and to pay 85£ up front if I wanted the appointment in 1 1/2 month. Lol! I have just had a very big change in my life and moved from Stockholm, Sweden via London and have now just managed to move into my final destination in north Devon. It has all been an awful and extremely stressful journey during the pandemic! We have so far meet many wonderful helpful nice people and been too fantastic service minded establishments in Devon. Last night I lost a filling and it immediately became very painful. I called this practise since it had so many nice reviews and I had a recommendation from my friend. I was chocked and surprised when I called! I informed the receptionist about that I had just moved into the area and that I had not registered with any practice yet but had read nice things about them online. I said I needed help since I had lost a filling and had lots pain and needed to register with a practise. I was expecting a practice with a 5.0 review score by 106 reviewers to have a service establishment that would give 5.0 service. What do you think? Would you also expect that? In a very arrogant tone I was told that this is a private practice! Then the receptionist made a pause that was a bit too long. Then she continued by sayng "It cost £85 to register here and you need to pay it at the time of booking" it sort of felt like she thought "can you really afford being a customer here?" then she went quiet for too long again. I was wondering why I was talked to in this arrogant tone and did she want me to say something now? I did not get a question but I said that it is all fine with me I would like to register and I need an appointment. Then she said "you can have your long registration appointment in ONE and a HALF month. I was thinking she had not heard me when I described my errand so I said - "I am happy to register and pay now but I have lost a filling and have pain" I need whatever appointment to do a temporary fix so that I have less pain. She said you can get help with that in 11/2 month. I said that I could not wait 1 1/2 month and I said Goodbye. When I told my friend and my husband they both said I should call back that it must be a misunderstanding. I called back and this time I even talked to the manager onsite. They could not help me at all until I was registered and I had to have my extra long registration appointment before I got any help with my teeth I laughed and hung up. I am happy I found out before being registered with this practice that this how they valued me as a potential future customer.

Fantastic experience: By far the best dental practice I've found in many years. Jeremy has done amazing work and I am very happy and relieved to find such a good dentist. The team are professional and friendly and put me at ease. I'm a nervous patient and have had some really bad experiences in the past, but I trusted them immediately.

Fantastic experience: In all the years of dental treatment I have received in various parts of UK I can confirm Whitehall is the very best. The level of service, kindness and attention to details is really worth 5 stars. Whitehall always try to ensure appointments are not weeks in advance and emergency treatments are always sorted as quickly as possible. For complex dental work e.g root fillings, implants and crowns David has the experience and technical equipment not found anywhere in North Devon. I would strongly recommend this practise to anyone living in North Devon even if it means travelling several miles for each appointment. A great team and perfect service always...

After several really bad experiences in my younger years with other dental practices, I was literally petrified on visiting any dentist. It got to the stage where I had no choice but to find a dentist that could help me. On advice from my partner, I decided to take the plunge and try Whitehall. Best decision I ever made. The staff were fantastic, immediately putting me at ease, step by step, in my own time. The care and service provided was second to none! Along with the procedures performed. I recently had a crown fitted.This took two sessions, the first involving needles and, for me, a sore jaw for several days. However, the 3D mapping technology used by this practice is amazing. Your website says it is 'the closest possible solution to getting your own natural tooth back' and you are absolutely correct. My mouth has never felt this good. Thank you also for opening your practice under such difficult circumstances and for undertaking the financial and physical precautions that are so necessary.

Fantastic experience: I have recently undergone root canal treatment by Octavian Moldovan. I was so apprehensive as even the thought of attending a dentist sends me into a spin. However, Tavi explained the whole process with his experience using my X rays and images. He was absolutely brilliant at keeping me calm and informed during the whole 2.75 hrs in the chair ( an extreme case for him he told me at the end) Tavi was extremely professional, considerate and caring throughout and together with his assistant (name not known) created a very calm environment. I would thoroughly recommend Tavi and would like to thank him for his immense kindness during a traumatic time for me.

Fantastic experience: I have used both Jeremey and David ( my main dentist) - both excellent and I would thoroughly recommend the practice as a whole. When I have had a dental emergency they have fitted me in the same day. I have had root canal work done by Gareth - equally excellent. They are extremely through in every facet of Dentistry.

Fantastic experience: I have just undergone root canal treatment performed by Gareth Thomas (ably assisted by Sam) at the Whitehall Dental Practice and I have absolutely nothing but extreme gratitude for the care and friendly professionalism afforded to me, During the whole lengthy experience (90 minutes) I was kept informed of the procedure as it was undertaken and constantly shown great care and consideration. At no point did I feel in the least anxious as both Gareth and Sam worked so well as a team that the atmosphere created was of calm, caring, professional competency. Fantastic experience: Getting the balance right between professional and friendly is an art, and this lovely team does it well. The practice is spotless, light and airy with a reception team who really do look like they enjoy working there, which makes you feel welcome and at ease. Communications are excellent - reminders for appointments, bringing them forward when cancellations happen, explaining costs and procedures, all crystal clear. April Dyer is an excellent hygienist, she also gives very useful dental care advice. David Crosbie is an outstanding dentist, really understands his craft - being treated by him and Meg was a very positive experience, especially for my teeth… Downsides and negatives? you will just have to go to another practice - I can’t fault them, my favourite dental practice ever

Fantastic experience: I moved to this dental practice In June 2019.I am so very impressed with the staff,so professional,caring and helpful.I have to admit to being apprehensive moving to a new dentist but I was made to feel comfortable and welcome.Everything was explained in detail and I had no qualms whatsoever.I realize now its because this is a family orientated practice in a rural community so personal care and attention to detail is of paramount importance.I now genuinely look forward to future care from these friendly people

Fantastic experience: We recently moved to the area and had Whitehall recommended to us by our vendors. Such nice people and always explaining anything they do. I have had a full check up and hygienist appointment and feel a lot more confident compared to any previous dentist. My 8 year old son surprised me as well as he had to have 4 fissures filled to avoid any decay. At our previous dentist he was put off as they spent too long packing his mouth to do the fissures that he got up and refused the treatment! This time Vicky and Jo were so much better and professional with him and it was done in no time with a happy child!! I would highly recommend Whitehall Dental Practice.

Fantastic experience: We have been patients at Whitehall for the past 25 years both as NHS and private patients. In that time my husband has lost his terror of visiting the dentist and now attends regularly without fear. We often joke that he would have had more teeth if he had been treated by dentists like Mr Davies from the start. We have found the treatments and advice of the highest order. Finally the receptionists have always been most helpful when emergency help has been required.

Fantastic experience: I was referred here by my dentist for some implants. They have a fantastic scanning machine which negates the need to have impressions. So much nicer. The staff are lovely and friendly and so helpful. I had a loose tooth and was in a lot of pain and the dentist came in on his day off to take it out for me. Superb service.

The dentists (mine is Jeremy Davies - a lovely man!) all use the latest technology to treat their patients and all their equipment is' up- to- the- minute'. This dental practice is a clean and comfortable environment in which to be treated and Dr. Davies is the first dentist I have ever had who has made me feel happy and anxious-free!
