Fantastic experience: I lost a filling two days before going on holidays and was in total panic. The staff at Surrey Docks Dental were amazing, they organised an appointment for me for the next day. I saw Dr Safari who was very reassuring and highly skilled. He made this visit a painfree and pleasant experience. Special thanks also to Ivana, the Practice Manager, who always has a friendly word for the patients. You guys are all amazing, thank you!!

Negative experience: Extremely disappointed. Having done with all the initial checkups , I have been waiting for almost two months for my extraction and every time closer to the appointment , they have cancelled the appointment. Extremely unprofessional and they do not bother to even take your calls.

Fantastic experience: Hi, recently i visited Surrey Dock Dental regarding my teeth extraction, As i have some serious gum issues, after extraction it started bleeding but i will surely say thanks to Dr Bhavana, Dentist especially and her team Tatianf, Nurse who showed me really care, cancelled her other appointments n kept looking after me until the bleeding fully stopped. Extremely delighted & pleased with Dr. Bhavana, a really helpful, professional and kind personality. Whole time she was soooo good and caring.

I had an appointment with Reuben de Jesus Hygenist today and not only did he give some health advice, he put some of my favourite music on that calmed me. He's such a bright light in the world of medicine, I totally recommend him to others although I hope it doesn't stop me getting an appointment to see him!! He truely made my day and how many visits to get your teeth done can you say that? Lovely to see Nilla too on reception who us always helpful and welcoming. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I have, very recently, had fairly extensive dental work done at the Surrey Docks dental practice, Dr. Bhavna was the Dental Surgeon who undertook my treatment. Anticipation is always worse than the actual experience and in this case that was certainly my experience. A relaxed and, as far as is possible, comfortable environment, so much so I travelled the world in my minds eye and, apart from the noise of the drill, I was oblivious to what was happening. Absolutely painless, despite having to drill a substantial hole for the filling, Dr. Bhavna exhuded confidence and trust in me, as a patient, and complete competence in her ability as a dental surgeon. No more cold sweats or sleepless nights, for me prior to any further treatments I may require. John Webber

Negative experience: Check up with Dr Dhiren Ajay Chavda was good. I followed his recommendation to book a follow-up hygienist appointment with the practice. I was disappointed with my hygienist service, performed by Ruben de Jesus. Although I am an NHS patient, they charged me as a private customer, claiming that a hygienist appointment is not covered by the NHS (it often times is, and I would have been happy to pay the band 2 price). Since I really wanted a good quality, thorough cleaning, I was willing to pay the price. However, the hygienist did a poor job. Completely missed my molars in the cleaning, and left visible build up on the teeth. It also felt rushed. Now I am down £79 and have to find a new practice to get a proper clean done. To be clear, this is meant to be constructive feedback.

Fantastic experience: Dr Adnaan was amazing today. I needed 4 fillings and was so anxious and boy did he put me at ease. He was gentle and so patient with me. If your like me and suffer with anxiety and you need that little bit of extra support, then please see Dr Adnaan. Not everyone has the ability to make someone feel calm, but he is really gifted in this way and I felt totally safe. Thank you Dr Adnaan.

Fantastic experience: I want to share our incredible experience with the exceptional dentist, Ms. Haley Seresht. Our five-year-old son was extremely nervous, and his baby teeth were severely infected due to an earlier trauma. We had seen other dentists, but none of them came close to the care and professionalism we received from Ms. Haley. From the moment we met her, she took her time to thoroughly examine our son, helping him feel calm and reassured, which meant the world to us as parents. She not only explained everything clearly but also patiently answered all of our questions, ensuring we understood what needed to be done. We were anxious about our son’s health, and the thought of waiting months for an NHS referral was daunting. Ms. Haley went above and beyond, trying to relieve his pain immediately by using medical ice to reduce the abscess, which brought some much-needed relief to our little boy. When she realized more urgent care was required, she swiftly referred us to a clinic specializing in nervous children. Thanks to her advice and guidance, our son was treated within 48 hours—his teeth were removed, and he’s now back to being healthy and pain-free. We are forever grateful for her swift actions, compassion, and expertise. Because of her, our son is back to his happy, healthy self, and we couldn’t be more relieved. If you’re looking for a dentist who is not only highly skilled but also genuinely cares, Ms. Haley Seresht is the one. We cannot recommend her enough!

Fantastic experience: The customer service here is so amazing, every time we attend the staff make us feel welcome, they smile and give us a warm greeting which makes such a big difference to our experience. My wife had months of treatment after child birth, the dentist are always kind, patient and caring. They helped her through the trauma of losing teeth and I could be more thankful for the gentle way she was cared for. Hats off to all the staff for their wonderful service, especially the receptionist Nillar who always goes the extra mile to ensure everything runs smoothly. Dentist appointment aren’t usually enjoyable but these guys have raised the bar and we look forward to every single visit. I couldn’t recommend this dental practice enough.

Fantastic experience: Hygienist Farzana who joined the practice four months ago is wonderful! I was anxious considering my not very pleasant experience with the hygienist who worked here earlier, but Farzana is very gentle and considerate of any tooth sensitivity. Fantastic experience: Couldn't express enough gratitude towards the team here. I needed a safe pair of hands with my #8 Incisor, plus the heavy-woes close behind my dilemma. Dialling in to SDDP, I was received by Djoan, who was attentive and patient with my anxiety. She really was altruistic over the phone and put me at ease right away. Getting an appointment is never easy in the land of today but I felt reassured I was made a priority as best she could. Representing is Djoan and also Roshni, whom was totally ahead of the game and had forseen an appropriate approach to my following visits necessary to regain as much of my Hollywood E-lister smile as possible. Dr Safari answered my doubts with professionalism, great knowledge and clarity. Rebooking before leaving was painless as Djoan and Roshni had effortlessly lined up my appointment options so I only had to mutter, "that one". With Ivana managing, perpetual assurance is imminent.

Fantastic experience: Have been with Practice for over 20 years now with Mr Zahid Chrowdry he was Dentist that got me over My Fear of Dentists as I was so scared for many years to go. Within a year of attending this dentist my teeth & mouth health is actually better than 10 years ago ! I cannot recommend this dentist enough . They are absolutely brilliant ! I have had a tooth extraction , root canal , re-enamelling & attended the hygienist for a cleaning session . All these treatments have been superb . This is a dental practice you can really trust . State of the art equipment & setting , wonderful receptionists & hygienists , as well as dentists ! Excellent example of a brilliant dental practice !

I needed a Root canal treatment that has been ongoing for some time and very painful, But Dr Bhavna completed the treatment in 3/4 months and she’s done an Excellent job. Surrey Docks they are Super Professional and the Service/Staff are also amazing, so welcoming and Friendly. Dr Bhavna I cannot Thank you enough, You are Amazing ❤️

Fantastic experience: -- UPDATE of original review -- Setting to 5 stars, as a) the practice have rectified the non-refund mistake, and b) after actually agreeing to make a new appointment with the oral hygienist, I received a fantastic treatment, finally! Thanks -- Original review -- I couldn't tell about the actual dental staff, but I wouldn't trust this practice with payments and refunds. Booked an oral hygienist appointment which was cancelled twice by the practice, not myself (over a course of more than half a year), so I asked them to refund me the money, as I thought I'd go somewhere else arguably. Few days later I check if the refund is in, and I see a new charge instead of a refund! So basically they charged me twice, and no service. I was told by the receptionist to 'speak to the manager' (the same receptionist who processed my 'refund' few days earlier). The receptionist experience was awful; a) they don't understand they deal with customers, b) their attitude is take-it-or-leave-it and not even a single hypothetical apology. Now, I will have to spend time look up my bank / card statements, find the manager on the phone, as if I don't have my full time job, plus a very active toddler to look after. Maybe after I speak to the manager I will upgrade this review to 3 stars. I'd advise this practice to train their receptionists on customer handling.

Fantastic experience: Mehdi Safari is a rare find. A kind hearted genuine dentist. Restored my confidence after being knocked back from seeing a dentist in central London who suggested I needed up to 4K worth of work. Mehdi did some x-rays, examined my teeth, took his time and sat with me for a discussion. Overall the costs were nowhere near and I left feeling comforted. I would definitely recommend this dental practise. However, the receptionist customer service can improve. I am not speaking for all of them but there is an extremely rude black lady…

Negative experience: Worst experience all together! I was scheduled for a 2pm appointment, followed by my 3year olds sons at 2:30pm. As a person who is respectful of time, we arrived 30mins early. The staff were on their break & signed me to come back at 2pm. However it was pouring out with rain, luckily I’m registered with Gp next door , so i kindly asked reception to wait in their waiting area. At 1:50pm I went back to the door as I’m booked for 2pm, I was signed to 10mins. I went back next door. At 2:02pm I was eventually let in. Receptionist was busy on phone, her colleague popped in from side room yawning saying ohh she had fell asleep. Didn’t ask me if I had been seen to. So I then said hello we’re here for a 2pm appointment, ohh yes take a seat. The dentist & hygienists I couldn’t fault them! After we were seen, I went to reception to pay “ band1 course of treatment “ Here is the very shocking part , because I booked for my sons next visit in August, I then said ohh could I book myself for a clean then. The girl in the reception passed me the pay machine with no explanation, after I tapped with my card I realised I had been charged £75. So I query this. Then she was going to hand me back the machine for £25.80 charge for that day’s consultation & check. I then said sorry I didn’t realise I had to pay £75 today as well. Her response was yes our clients pay ahead. I apologised & left. I got home told my husband who was horrified & angry. So I phoned surgery & asked for a refund. Of cause minus the £25.80 . She took my bank details & said they would issue a refund. 1week later , no refund, so I phone. Ohhh the rudeness I got from Lewis/Louise the manager was shocking! I am I business owner myself & this is not how you conduct business. Just refund my money !
