Fantastic experience: I recently visited Victoria Road Clinic for three fillings and an oral hygiene appointment, and I can honestly say it was the best experience I’ve ever had at a dentist. I’ve always been afraid of going to the dentist, but every single person I encountered made me feel welcomed, relaxed, and genuinely cared for. The team talked me through every step of the process, reassured me constantly, and made sure I felt safe and comfortable throughout my treatment. They truly understand that many people have dental fears, and they take their time to explain everything, calm any worries, and provide so much kindness and support. Everyone at the clinic is incredibly sweet, friendly, and warm, and the atmosphere is so comforting that I actually look forward to my appointments now, something I never thought I’d say! Choosing Victoria Road Clinic was the best decision I could have made, and I’m forever grateful to each member of the team for helping me overcome my fear of the dentist. I couldn’t recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: I had a Botox treatment done by Nisha Patel to treat my teeth grinding/clenching. The Botox was pain free and I have experienced less stress on my jaw muscles and fewer headaches as a result of the usual clenching. The dental clinic was really supportive and responsive in getting an appointment in and making me feel at ease around the treatment, where they provided follow up information on dos and don’t’s after treatment. Would definately recommend!!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to the VRDC for a number of years. I recently had the last of 3 implants put in. Dr Nisha Patel kept me informed at all times of the process and made me feel at ease the whole time, I asked a lot of questions and got full and informative responses to all of them. I look and feel a lot better with a full be set of teeth! Starting with Sophie at reception all of the staff that work there are pleasant and do their best to make you feel at ease. The dentists, hygienist, nurses all make the visit as pleasant as it can be.

Negative experience: Tried to book my son an appointment when a receptionist decided to tell the whole waiting room he had been removed from the practice for not booking a follow up. I was told to leave my number and someone would get back to me. I waited 3 weeks and no call! I called today to be told the NHS have no availability to see him and he can no longer be a patient there. I would strongly advise that if your child has ASD or learning difficulties not to attend this practice as they are fully aware he has ASD and a fear of dentistry which had made a follow up difficult. Very dissatisfied overall

Fantastic experience: As most people, the dentist isn't my favourite place in the world and I try to avoid it at all cost. However I find the staff to be warm and welcoming which puts you at ease instantly. Ujita has been my dentist for my fillings, it's always a pleasure to be in her chair. The worst of it is a very slight prick for the numbing and the rest flys by like a breeze. She stops as soon as you raise your hand, if there is any discomfort while getting the job done in a speedy manner. It's always kept clean and tidy and appointments have always run on time. The hygienist are great too. Would highly recommend

Throughout the whole process Nisha kept me informed of the various stages and at each appointment she reviewed the work that had been done, explained clearly what she would be doing, and all the way through each appointment she checked that I was as comfortable as I could be and that I understood the processes. Nisha reassured me at each visit that if I had any concerns I was to contact her so that we could talk it through. I cannot speak more highly of Nisha, and indeed the staff at VRDC. Fantastic experience: Having not been to the dentist for sometime, mainly due to being absolutely terrified, one of my teeth needed some urgent attention. I contacted them and got appointments immediately at times that suited me, booked by professional and helpful staff. I was seen by Ujita Patel, I was very nervous having had some bad experiences with previous dental care. There was no need to worry, she was very understanding and empathetic, I'm not the only patient that has this fear. They did my check up and then a plan of action for my neglected teeth, including a few visits with Armanda Freitas, the hygienist, who also was very caring and professional. With every visit, everything that is done was explained to me fully which is appreciated. I would not hesitate to recommend visiting VRDC, particularly if, like me, you have an aversion to visiting the dentist, fear not, they will look after you.

The receptionist very kindly fitted me in with an appointment 90 minutes later. The dentist herself was gentle and understanding and 20 minutes later came out as good as new. Negative experience: Had root canal treatment with dr patel , after the root canal and filling the tooth was still black in the middle. Went to a different dentist and he said it had to be done again and that it wasn’t cleaned properly inside the tooth . while he was doing it he also pointed out many issues with my teeth that dr patel didn’t even mention on my checkup which I paid for . Very expensive work for very bad quality fixes . The filling on the tooth was smooth from the front and rough at the back ( my other dentist for the same price smoothed out the whole tooth not only the visible parts )

Fantastic experience: I had an intense pain when my tooth was exposed to cold water. I saw Dr Sushma Patel. She x-rayed the tooth and identified the problem. Dr Patel gave me a mild anaesthetic to minimise the pain, and then did a filling. This has solved the problem, so I was very pleased with the treatment. All was done in a very friendly and efficient manner.

Negative experience: Came for hygienist. I mainly wanted polish and stain removal. When I got there I was told the polish and stain removal machine does not work. The price was £80 for 25 mins. Instead i was still charged £70 for a hygienist appointment with no polish or stain removal. I didn't both saying anything. Also was told to sit outside on the bench because I didn't have a face mask even though there was nobody else there. Also they really need to remove those big ugly boxes in the main reception room that have been there for years now. This practice is not maintained well. Wont be coming back here again.

Fantastic experience: I was interested in finding out about cosmetic bonding and/or invisiline treatments. I was impressed by the clear and honest explanations on the website and therefore travelled quite a distance as I had not been able to find a dentist locally who did cosmetic bonding and who I felt confident about. I saw Ujital Patel who answered all of my questions and explained everything very clearly to me. She reassured me that my current dentist was probably offering me the best course of treatment, as I had been a little put off by the hard sell of invisaline. She didn't have to do this and could have encouraged me to have my treatment at Victoria Road Surgery. I honestly felt like crying afterward because it was so nice to receive honest information and advice after having some previous bad experiences of dentists. I cannot recommend this dentist highly enough. Word of advice: Do not use Smile Direct!

After visiting 3 local dentists before choosing who to go with, Dr Ujita was an easy choice as she made me feel completely at ease. My treatment couldn’t have gone smoother and I am beyond pleased with the results, 100% worth every penny. Emma was also always very welcoming upon arrival in reception! Fantastic experience: I have not been to a dentist for best part of 25 years + and as like some people suffered bad experiences when I was younger. It was not until a problem occurred that it forced my hand to go and see someone, this was when I wrote to VRDC online via their site. I explained the situation and advised that I didn’t want to be judged in any way but help with a view to putting my mind at ease knowing I would be in good hands. I have to say that since my initial consultation back in October I have had my problem wisdom tooth removed, along with two fillings and three hygienist appointments. Dr Nisha Patel has been brilliant with me. First of all no judgement, she has been patient and advised me accordingly of exactly what was required and that I was in safe hands. Well I have come through the tooth extractions and fillings not only without any pain or nervousness after the removal, but the confidence of knowing that injections and extraction and the general walking through a dentists door ( all the things that bothered me) have now become a thing of the past.I am now at the point where I just need to have check up once every 6 months. Dr Suzanne Hogan the hygienist has also been brilliant. She has recognised the problem areas that needed to be addressed. Suzanne put my mind at ease and just talked to me about the issues and how to move forward. Well three months in and my teeth are so much better and cleaner as a whole, Suzanne even keeps you going with the routines required and the results are very pleasing. Emma/Amanda dentalcare professionals. Again thanks to these guys who not only cover front desk and telephone but also assist with the treatments. They always have a smile on their face and when in the surgery with you are very good at talking to you keeping you calm whilst in the dentists chair. Fantastic experience: The practice has always done an excellent job in improving, then maintaining, my dental health. My lower molar split in summer 2020, yet the practice were able to replace it. They also created a mouth guard and ensured that I had proper instruction from the dental hygienist. I am quite grateful that the practice have been able to accommodate for my urgent needs, even amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and multiple lockdowns. And I know that all COVID-19 measures have been adhered to, so I feel safe.

Fantastic experience: Had an excellent experience getting invisalign with Ujita at the Victoria Road Dental Clinic. All staff including dentists, hygienists, assistants and reception were lovely and very accommodating. Felt that I was getting great treatment the whole way through - only comment would be to manage expectations about the amount of time invisalign takes (the time mentioned for me was 6 months but it took a year) and there wasn't too much flexibility with appointment times (mostly within 9-5 and only Tues-Thurs). But otherwise excellent treatment and great service.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to the VRDC since 1987 and would definitely recommend this dental practice. My recent experience, as well as routine check-ups, include having an implant to replace one of my front teeth. Throughout all appointments, Nisha has explained everything clearly and professionally so that I have felt confident about what was a daunting process. When carrying out a procedure, she is gentle and considerate and at no point have I been worried or felt any significant pain; she ensures that anaesthetic is topped up as soon as necessary. I have also seen Suzanne , the hygienist , for a series of appointments at which she has also given reassurance about the processes involved and given practical advice and instructions for improving oral hygiene which are easy to follow.

I’ve been a patient here for a while but I used to be terrified of visiting the dentist and would hold it off for as long as I could. I decided to pluck up the courage and just get things done during this pandemic and what a relief it has been! I have had the pleasure of being seen to by Dr Nisha Patel for Invisalign and teeth whitening, and Suzanne Hogan for regular dental hygiene. Firstly, I truly have to commend the team for their approach to dealing with the pandemic. Every time I've been in during this, I've felt safe and taken care of as they stick to the guidelines and take great care of their patients. For my Invisalign treatments, I’ve been kept informed throughout the process and have been kept honest about the procedure, costs and any queries or doubts I had. Nisha has been so attentive to helping me achieve confidence with my smile again! Suzanne has also been such a pleasure, I look forward to meeting her and the team regularly. Emma and Amanda are always so lovely and warm to talk to. They’ve been positive and friendly throughout which has calmed my nerves and made me more proactive at taking care of my dental and oral health. I’ve noticed such a huge difference in my dental health since my hygiene visits and the helpful advice from Suzanne. Luckily I don’t have any drastic issues with my teeth and just general upkeep with daily flossing, brushing etc but I would always be concerned that there was more I had to do. Fantastic experience: Best dentist I have visited! I am slowly moving to ruislip way with my other half. I have had to move all my dentists and doctors over from Hertfordshire. I came across Vitoria Road Dentist online when searching for a new local dentist and somewhere I could also get my Invisalign treatment, as well . Victoria road ticked all the boxes and from my first visit with Nisha I was really welcomed and shown the importance of how to look after my teeth. I then had 2 hygienist appointments with the lovely Suzanne to help polish up my teeth before I start my treatment. I’m so happy with the service I’ve had and have recommended to friends I know who also would like to start the treatment I am starting. I have almost completed Invisalign treatment, after thinking about it for some time, am so glad I did the results are brilliant and it has been a seamless process.

Fantastic experience: I am currently receiving treatment from the hygienist at this practice after experiencing extreme pain from oral lichen planus. Suzanne has, through her expert and evidence based practice and care turned things around - my requirement for medicated mouthwashes has significantly reduced and my condition greatly improved. Negative experience: I had tooth ache and found this local surgery . They suggest a filling at £200 plus which fell out after a short time. Then suggested I have the tooth capped. They capped the tooth and charged a total of £500 to £600 ,less the cost of the original filling. Now 4 years later the cap has also fallen out. I phoned to inform them and was told ,I would be charged again. To not even have a look as to see if it’s something they have done or not , given my previous visits. I’m not wasting any more time or money with these people. I have a couple of fillings since my teens and had no problems at all with them. Ive just spoken to another dentist ,who was recommended and considerably cheaper.

Positive experience: The service is efficient and friendly both during and before the appointment with helpful advice. They have a children's but not adults NHS contract which is a shame. The private fees are not extortionate but we pay our taxes for NHS cover free at the point of delivery. The premises look very clean and tidy.

Fantastic experience: A great dental clinic. Highly recommended for kids and adults alike. The reception staff are very helpful. I was seen by Dr Nisha Patel. She was very patient with me, talked me through everything, and it was the best experience i've had at a dentist ever.
