Fantastic experience: Ive had quite a bit of work done by Kidsgrove Dental and Implant Centre, before I started the whole process I had teeth whitening which went 4 shades lighter after 20 odd years of smoking, i had a bridge one side, and an implant on the other side, after years of neglecting my teeth and having nhs bridges that adhered to the other teeth I finally took the plunge and had them done properly, having spent years of being afraid of dentists, I cannot thankyou Gary Wu enough, my teeth look amazing, you and your team have put me at ease throughout the whole process and my new teeth look amazing, if I can go through this whole process anyone can, they have done an amazing job and can't thank them all enough x

Everything was explained clearly to me and all the work I needed was scheduled over 18 months at a pace I was comfortable with. I really felt looked after by the whole team.

Fantastic experience: Scared of the Dentist Idiot i am, rather spend a day in a torture chamber than visit a dentist as u can see by the state of my teeth b4 my visit. It was a bad experience in my childhood that scared me to death... My family and especially lily my granddaughter who it doesn't bother her visiting dentist that made me man up a bit.. Kidsgrove were great. Explained my fear and they were very assuring, 2 visits to measure up and 3rd visit to do the terrifying deed. Straight in nervous as hell, sat down, injections in the hand and a few minutes later I just didn't care. He was drilling, grinding, think there was a hammer and chisel involved somewhere (joke) but whatever the injection was put me totally at ease, nothing bothered me at all. If I'd have known about it years ago I wouldn't have waited so long.I can't thank them enough for the great job they have done. It's nice to smile again with teeth

I felt listened to and time taken to support and encourage how I am looking after my teeth. Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Kidsgrove Dental Surgery enough. I’ve seen it grow from start up to what is now a really high tech, state of the art, practice. The range of services offered is second to none, with Gary, the senior partner, able to take on even the most complex of cases. So far I’ve had three extractions., two implants, and a crown, and I am just about to be measured up for braces for my bottom teeth.

Fantastic experience: I couldn't write in words how highly I recommend Kidsgrove Dental Centre! You'll never meet anyone who had a bigger fear of dentists than me! But 6 or 7 years ago I was in terrific pain with a broken tooth. I chose Kidsgrove Dental because I could pay to be put asleep for my treatment. I then met Gary and explained my fears. He was great and removed my tooth while I was ' sleeping '. He then recommended another visit in 12 months for a check up. When I went back I felt so much calmer and he then asked me to try a visit to the hygienist. Gradually over the years he has reassuringly helped me to cope with my fear. I even had a filling recently with a needle anaesthetic! Gary, his hygienist's and his fantastic receptionist's are all great! If like me, you'd prefer to wrestle a gorilla before going the dentist, get in touch with Kidsgrove Dental Practice! A 6 stars out of 5 establishment.

Negative experience: Beware! The dentist conducted unnecessary examinations and quoted me for 6 fillings I didn’t need at a cost of an eye watering £800 (I obtained a second opinion with another dentist and was told didn’t need fillings!). Then when I spoke to practice manager to request refund for unnecessary examination, they refused. Professionalism costs nothing and this practice will try to rip you off where they can. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Kidsgrove Dental and implant centre for many years and even though I moved city’s I wouldn’t go anywhere else, so I travel over a 100 miles and always find it worth the effort, very firm but for my own good and do a great job even though I suffer from gum issues Gary and the staff always look after my gums and if I step out of place he doesn’t let it slip. I actually quite like going to be honest.I use Dent plan and it works out perfectly! I would highly recommend Gary and the Team Phil Green Age 62

Fantastic experience: I can highly recommend this dental and implant centre. I have used them for several years and have always found them to be extremely efficient. The dentists, hygienist, and receptionists are all very pleasant and helpful.

Negative experience: I have paid in full. Everything was good. But don’t be late even 15mins due to traffic jam. They will reject to serve you and reschedule your appointment not considered about I took 1hr driving to come. Very bad experience, I am very disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I had a root canal at the surgery recently and it was absolutely brilliant. The dentist and his male dental nurse are always so pleasant. Really pleased with my treatment, I would recommend this surgery.

Fantastic experience: Since starting my dental journey in October 2023 with a fixed brace I can not recommend Gary and the team highly enough. If your teeth need straightening and like me you were never certain who to trust go for a consultation here. At my initial appointment there were no pushy sales, I felt listened to and provided with all the information to decide. I was fully informed about the process of straightening my teeth with a fixed brace which was suitable for an underbite and cross bite. Each appointment to tighten my braces I was met with friendly reception staff and again everything explained to me. The team were contactable for reassurance if I had any questions. Yesterday I had my braces off after 8 months and this has made a huge difference to my smile and confidence. The whole team are professional, knowledgeable and caring. It was a positive experience and I only wish I’d have found them sooner. Thankyou all so much

Fantastic experience: After subjecting my self to years of fear of the dentist, ( and attending a poor dentist surgery previously) - I decided to change dentists after reading the wonderful reviews,. Gary and his lovely team put me straight at ease and the reception team were marvellous at making you feel calm and at ease, Gary carried out several treatments including an extraction, a filling and front teeth replacements!!!,. I was completely at ease and felt no pain whatsoever!!,. I don’t worry anymore about my visit and can’t thank Gary and his team for their professional approach and caring attitude,. Negative experience: I had several appointments with Gary, including one where I waited in the waiting room for an hour past my appointment time. I understand that occasionally this can’t be helped. I spent hundreds of pounds on scans and at one point was told that there was ‘nothing they could do’ for some of the issues that needed to be addressed. When I asked for a ballpark figure I was told ‘I can’t think now, I will email a quote’. That quote took 8 weeks and in the meantime I had seen another dentist who not only could treat the issue, but also diagnosed several structural issues that, had I spent 5 figures on the plan that I originally received, would have rendered it useless as my front tooth would have fallen out. Maybe worth a try for cosmetic issues, but would not recommend for complex dentistry.

Fantastic experience: Really nice folks and excellent dentistry. All very very professional, and up to date, and just very high quality individuals. Excellent. But reason for my review is the superb hygienist. I have very sensitive teeth and my previous dentist just didn't mind how much screaming I did when she cleaned my teeth (think she was deaf). But not here, it's now a pleasure to have my teeth cleaned and scrubbed, which I never thought I would ever have said. Honestly, ten out of ten, if your considering complex or basic dental work you won't find any better locally. A vey satisfied customer :)

Fantastic experience: I decided to visit this dentist for a consultation after talking to the previous dentist in Turkey. I decided after having their point of view I would try a dentist local to me and from the moment I reached out to them they have been amazing . From start to finish they explained everything and I always felt at ease , I have put of haven my teeth done for years due to me having a fear of dentist but this year I decided I would just brave it and made the change . Fantastic experience: Had an appointment with Dr Saad for some fillings and despite being quite an anxious patient with a strong aversion to needles, he and the wonderful dental nurse both made me feel at ease and there was very minimal discomfort throughout the entire process. The quality of my fillings is also amazing as they look and feel as natural as my actual teeth. I’m very happy with my results and can’t recommend the practice enough!
