Negative experience: Not too sure if bots wrote the other reviews here but my experience with A Silva or at least attempting to book with A Silva was a nightmare. I strongly advise not purchasing their Groupon. First and foremost, I tried calling their listed # on Google and it appears to just be somebody’s mobile phone. I tried calling @ 9 AM (their listed opening hours on Google are 8:30 AM) to no avail. Tried again @ 9:30 AM and the call was declined with the iOS automatic message “Can I call you later?” being sent. I then went back and forth with somebody on WhatsApp who didn’t really seem to understand what I was writing (asking me the same questions multiple times, offering me a slot and then telling me it was only available if I booked privately through them). Place seems to operate like a back alley veneer clinic. Avoid! Classic Groupon bait and switch.

Fantastic experience: I was having a Panic Attack when I arrived and was outside tapping and trying to breathe. Andrea was informed and came to check on me outside and went to the shops to get me water. Andrea gave me time to feel better despite having other clients after and didn't rush me to come in for my procedure. When I finally went in, she checked in again and gave me stress ball to help whilst having my Dental Procedure. She talked me through each phase and was just so lovely and ever so kind and made me feel comfortable. Fantastic experience: A very pleasant experience visiting Andrea for an airflow hygienist appointment. From the ambience of the treatment room to leaving with a bright sparkly smile, Andrea is highly skilled in her craft and I’ll certainly be back!

Negative experience: Made a hygienist appointment today for 1.20 and got told it was 130 pounds. When I mentioned that I had brought the Groupon voucher, I was told that I could not be seen and that it was only on specific days for over a week later. I asked if I should cancel and go elsewhere and was told to do so. Sham practise

Fantastic experience: I have never met more passionate dentist than Andrea . I had groupon for Philips zoom whitening and from start was treated professionally as I was paying full price . Very easy to make appointments and got a lot of advises what to do what to not etc . No hard sale at all just been advise to get even better results on whitening to get two more weeks of home kit if I wanted to . Andrea Silva is most carrying passionate and professional dentist I ever had .thank you for my treatment

Fantastic experience: I came across this dental studio on Groupon, on which I purchased a voucher for dental check up, air polish, in office whitening with Philips Zoom and an at home part of the whitening treatment. I had a really good experience with A Silva Dental Studio. I was given a convenient appointment and was seen on time when I got there. The studio is easy to find and get to on public transport. Very clean studio. The check up was thorough. There was no pressure for any add ons, but the dentist advised she could add on a hygienist session if wanted when checking my teeth. I have been wanting a proper deep clean for a while and knew I needed it, so I went ahead with this. My teeth felt so much better afterwards!! The in office part of the Zoom whitening lifted a few shades. No pain or sensitivity. You have bespoke trays made and a week long home treatment included in the Groupon. Due to the darker shade of my bottom teeth, it was recommended I take 3 extra weeks at a cost of 105. There was absolutely no pressure, I was given time to think about it and it was explained in detail how and why this would help my case. When I returned later for my trays and included solution, it was just a simple ask regarding whether I wanted the extra or not. I appreciated no pressure to do the extra. The dentist is very knowledgeable and quite a perfectionist in her work, taking time to get things absolutely right for me. I decided to take the extra weeks. I am one week off finishing and am pleased with my results so far. Will happily recommend A Silva Dental Studio and will return for ongoing private hygienist visits due to my fixed retainers needing that extra attention.

Fantastic experience: Exceptional Dental Care and Caring Dentist I recently underwent dental procedures at this practice, including three composite fillings and the creation of a custom mouth guard for grinding. I’m delighted with the results—the sensitivity in my teeth has significantly improved, and the dentist provided excellent care. The dentist’s genuine concern for patients is evident. She is attentive, caring, and ensures a comfortable experience. Her professionalism and sweet demeanor make each visit pleasant. While there was a minor hiccup with the discount, the overall quality of care remains excellent. I hope the practice addresses this issue to prevent any miscommunication with future patients.

Fantastic experience: I have had different procedures at this clinic, from periodontal to Invisalign treatment and from start to finish I have received an excellent treatment by the A Silva Dental team. Negative experience: Do not go. Greatly unprofessional and money grabbing, went here originally and was quoted an astronomical plan. Took the same notes and xrays from this dentist to another dentist who verified for me that they had over diagnosed to make money. Quite obscene during a cost of living crisis. Waited over a fortnight to receive my deposit back which they only did when I left them a bad review, they were able to do it easily all along... Waited 30 mins to be seen when no one was there before me. Staff are nice to your face. Don't get played and don't trust all these 5 star reviews think theyre just her pals, notice is says google cant verify these reviews. Might be referring this to an ombudsman.

Dr Milesis, being an endodontist, conducted thorough tests, discussed options, and explained everything clearly before proceeding with the two-stage treatment. From day one, my pain vanished, which amazed me as a nervous patient. Ali, the nurse, was fantastic, and their teamwork was coordinated like an orchestra, highly professional. The level of kindness and professionalism at this practice is exceptional. I also had an appointment with Dr Glenda Cardozo, whose experience and professionalism were evident. She administered anesthesia with great care and the nurse , Ana, was very kind. Karina, the Practice Assistant Manager, went above and beyond, offering financing options, providing comfort, and even keeping me warm. Dr Andrea Silva consistently showed care, not only for my molar but also my emotional well-being. Fantastic experience: Excellent service and great professionals is what one can say after their visit to the A Silva dentist due to emergency cases / last minute bookings or your routine check out. Not only the The dentist but also all their staff have always been friendly and polite on any of my visits or even over the phone when booking my appointments. All the treatments are always explained and pointed on the X-Ray for further understanding of the patient with information on the procedures and the expected results. Having had another 3 visits to this ultra-professional, excellent, compassionate and even cost-to-the-patient-conscious dental team (and I wouldn't blame a dentist for not attending so well to that dreaded issue considering the difficulty of restoring some of those (mine included!) barely standing, tired old stressed gnasher ruins and - let's face it - having to gape into some patients' truly dark abyss of a mouth on the way), I want to say go, go soon and go THERE. They really have it, both, Glenda and Andrea, Andrea and Glenda, perfectly knowledgeable, skillful and courteous; efficient, well synchronised, pleasant, easy-going and attentive the whole team including Andrea No 2 and the other dental nurses and the positive and quick Barbora at reception. Arriving there I'm me, on leaving I am a better me and I feel it, what can I say? Oh yes, and all that even without tooth whitening! What impresses me, in summary and above all, is the consistency and reliability of their high standards and dedication to delivering that standard. Any negative review you can safely ignore. Below my review from 2 years ago: Have had my third appointment at Andrea's dental practice today and, having generally high standards of quality, must say that Andrea is a fantastic dentist. She has an amazing personality, is calm, professional, experienced and thorough. She explains everything and puts me at ease with her kindness, responsiveness to my needs as patient and her gentle humour. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and the whole atmosphere at A Silva is one of easygoing professionalism. Fantastic experience: All the Staff have been polite and friendly from the day I booked my first appointment. The place is well presented and clean at all times. Andrea always explained my treatment and what we was achieving and how we was going to achieve the look I wanted. Andrea always made sure I was happy for her to do so. She would explain until I understand the process. I had 6month smile braces to help straighten my teeth. She then filled in the little gaps on the top of my teeth with edge bonding as I wasn’t happy with the gaps that the braces was unable to do. I have a lovely natural smile that I am very happy with thanks to Andrea and her team.

Fantastic experience: I have been visiting A Silva Dental studio for over a year, I have had several treatments done including brace treatment, aligner treatment, and whitening. Every stage of every treatment has been dealt with care and compassion. I am very happy with the end results of my treatments and will definitely recommend visiting Andrea for any of your dental needs with no doubts. The practice is also very modern and super clean especially during the Covid19 Pandemic they have taken multiple steps to protect their patients and themselves.

But when I went there they were very kind and very helpful people, amazing staff and services. because I haven’t been to a dentist for a long time, I had many problems with my teeth and mouth. But they are very good at explaining everything, all the process, how the treatment will go, and all my doubts were resolved. They explained every little detail in both English and Spanish. And the most important thing is they assisted me with the finance to pay for they treatment without worrying about paying all at once. I’m very grateful for there help. I’m even looking forward to my next revision!

Negative experience: The treatment itself was 5 stars, however post treatment has been abysmal. I paid for braces and a fixed retainer within 3 months the fixed retainer came loose, and my teeth moved. They fixed it and within 6 months they teeth are moving again. I called and asked what to do and paid for a non fixed retainer. Its arrived , it's the wrong mould, I'm a 20 year old man, they sent me a childs retainer. How this was missed is beyond me. I hope this is fixed asap and as soon as it is I will amend my review.

Fantastic experience: I had filling done recently with dentist Andrea and nurse Caprice. I received excellent patient care. I was scared about the treatment but Andrea explained me everything and put me to the ease. Negative experience: Rude, patronising and manipulative! When I arrived to my booking they attempted to convince me to get a general check up on top of my cleaning service. I rejected the check up and only wanted to clean my teeth. The cleaning was finished in 40 mins, I wanted to ask some general dental questions. But then the dentist asked me to leave as they have ran out of time for this booking. Then HOW IN THE HELL would I have had the time to get both of the check up and cleaning done even if I accepted both?? The entire narrative doesn't match up. On top of that, the dentist was rude and patronising. I was casually talking about how I like using a water flosser because it is more convenient and she went "I am telling you a normal floss is better, and you should not question me". I can't believe I have to apologise and explain to her that what I was saying was an opinion and not me disagreeing with her. I have been twice and both times has been terrible, if you are lucky enough to read this then I would suggest finding another clinic.
